1 Yəhya 4
1 Ey sevimlilər, hər ruha inanmayın; ruhların Allahdan olub-olmadığını bilmək üçün onları sınaqdan keçirin. Çünki dünyada çoxlu yalançı peyğəmbər meydana çıxıb.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 Allahın Ruhunu bundan tanıya bilərsiniz: İsa Məsihin cismən gəldiyini iqrar edən hər ruh Allahdandır,
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 İsanı iqrar etməyən hər ruhsa Allahdan deyil. Bu, «Məsih əleyhdarı»nın ruhudur ki, bu ruhun gələcəyini eşitmisiniz və indi də artıq dünyadadır.
and every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not of God; and this is that of the antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.
4 Sizsə, ey övladlar, Allahdansınız və yalançı peyğəmbərlərə qalib gəlmisiniz. Çünki sizdə olan Ruh dünyada olandan üstündür.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
5 Onlar dünyadandır, buna görə də dünyəvi mövqedən danışırlar və dünya onlara qulaq asır.
They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
6 Bizsə Allahdanıq. Allahı tanıyan bizə qulaq asır, Allahdan olmayansa bizə qulaq asmır. Həqiqət ruhunu və aldatma ruhunu bundan tanıyırıq.
We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Ey sevimlilər, bir-birimizi sevək, çünki məhəbbət Allahdandır. Sevən hər kəs də Allahdan doğulub və Allahı tanıyır.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.
8 Sevməyən kəs Allahı tanımır, çünki Allah məhəbbətdir.
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
9 Allahın bizə olan məhəbbəti belə zahir oldu: Allah Öz vahid Oğlunu dünyaya göndərdi ki, biz Onun vasitəsilə yaşayaq.
By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
10 Məhəbbət bizim Allahı sevməyimizlə bağlı deyil, amma bundan ibarətdir: O bizi sevdi və Öz Oğlunu bizim günahlarımıza görə kəffarə qurbanı olaraq göndərdi.
In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
11 Ey sevimlilər, Allah bizi bu cür sevdiyi üçün biz də gərək bir-birimizi sevək.
Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
12 Allahı heç kim heç zaman görməyib. Əgər biz bir-birimizi sevsək, Allah bizdə qalır və Onun məhəbbəti bizdə kamil olur.
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
13 Bizim Onda, Onun da bizdə qaldığını bundan bilirik ki, O bizə Öz Ruhundan verib.
By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
14 Biz görüb şahidlik edirik ki, Ata Oğlunu dünyanın Xilaskarı olaraq göndərdi.
We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
15 Kim iqrar edir ki, İsa Allahın Oğludur, Allah onda, o da Allahda qalır.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
16 Biz Allahın bizə olan məhəbbətini anlayıb buna inandıq. Allah məhəbbətdir. Kim məhəbbətdə qalarsa, Allahda qalar, Allah da onda qalar.
We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
17 Məhəbbət bizdə ona görə kamil oldu ki, qiyamət günündə cəsarətimiz olsun. Çünki Məsih necədirsə, biz də bu dünyada eləyik.
In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.
18 Məhəbbətdə qorxu yoxdur, əksinə, kamil məhəbbət qorxunu qovar. Çünki qorxu cəzaya aiddir, qorxan insan məhəbbətdə kamil deyil.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 Biz sevirik, çünki öncə O bizi sevdi.
We love, because he first loved us.
20 Kim «mən Allahı sevirəm» deyir, amma öz qardaşına nifrət edirsə, yalançıdır. Axı gördüyü qardaşını sevməyən görmədiyi Allahı sevə bilməz.
If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
21 Bizim Ondan aldığımız əmr budur ki, Allahı sevən gərək öz qardaşını da sevsin.
This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
