1 Mən azad deyiləmmi? Həvari deyiləmmi? Rəbbimiz İsanı görməmişəmmi? Siz Rəbdə etdiyim əməlin səmərəsi deyilsinizmi?
Am I not free? Am I not an emissary? Have I not seen Yeshua our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?
2 Əgər başqaları üçün həvari deyiləmsə, heç olmasa sizin üçün həvariyəm. Çünki Rəbdə siz mənim həvariliyimin möhürüsünüz.
If to others I am not an emissary, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my office of emissary in the Lord.
3 Mən işlərimi təhlil edənlərə qarşı belə müdafiə olunuram:
My defense to those who examine me is this.
4 məgər bizim yeyib-içməyə ixtiyarımız yoxdur?
Have we no right to eat and to drink?
5 Məgər digər həvarilər, Rəbbin qardaşları və Kefa kimi yanımızda imanlı arvadımızı gəzdirməyə ixtiyarımız yoxdur?
Have we no right to take along a wife who is a believer, even as the rest of the emissaries, and the brothers of the Lord, and Kefa?
6 İşləməyib dolanmaq üçün yalnız mənim və Barnabanın ixtiyarı yoxdur?
Or have only Barnabas and I no right to not work?
7 Kim öz hesabı ilə əsgərlik çəkər? Kim üzüm bağı salıb barından yeməz? Kim sürünü otarıb südündən içməz?
What soldier ever serves at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard, and does not eat of its fruit? Or who feeds a flock, and does not drink from the flock's milk?
8 Məgər mən ancaq insanların düşündüyü kimi danışıram? Qanun eyni şeylər demirmi?
Do I say these things according to human authority? Or does not the Law also say the same thing?
9 Çünki Musanın Qanununda yazılıb: «Xırman çəkən öküzün ağzını bağlama». Allah öküzlərinmi qayğısına qalır,
For it is written in the Law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain." Is it for the oxen that God cares,
10 yoxsa bu sözlər tamamilə bizə aid deyil? Əlbəttə, bu bizim üçün yazılmışdır, çünki cütçü ümidlə şumlamalı, xırmançı da məhsula ortaq olmaq ümidi ilə taxılı döyməlidir.
or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in the hope of having a share.
11 Əgər biz aranızda ruhani toxumlar əkdiksə, sizdən maddi bir məhsul yığsaq, çoxdurmu?
If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things?
12 Əgər başqalarının sizdən bunu istəməyə ixtiyarı varsa, bizim buna daha çox ixtiyarımız yoxdurmu? Bizsə bu ixtiyardan istifadə etməmişik. Bunun əvəzinə Məsihin Müjdəsinin yayılmasına mane olmamaq üçün hər şeyə dözürük.
If others partake of this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right, but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the Good News of Messiah.
13 Məgər bilmirsiniz ki, məbəddə iş görənlər məbədə gətirilən təqdimlərdən qidalanır və qurbangahın xidmətçiləri qurbangahdan öz paylarını götürürlər?
Do you not know that those who serve around sacred things eat from the things of the temple, and those who wait on the altar have their portion with the altar?
14 Beləcə də Rəbb Müjdəni elan edənlərə Müjdədən dolanmağı əmr etmişdir.
Even so the Lord ordained that those who proclaim the Good News should live from the Good News.
15 Amma mən bu hüquqların heç birindən istifadə etməmişəm. Bunları yazmıram ki, mənə də belə edəsiniz. Fəxr etməyim üçün bu əsası heç kim boşa çıxarmaz! Belə olmaqdansa, ölməyim daha yaxşıdır.
But I have used none of these things, and I do not write these things that it may be done so in my case; for I would rather die, than that anyone should make my boasting void.
16 Müjdəni yaymaqsa fəxr etməyim üçün əsas deyil. Çünki bu mənim mühüm borcumdur, əgər Müjdəni yaymıramsa, vay halıma!
For if I preach the Good News, I have nothing to boast about, because I am compelled to do this. Woe to me if I do not preach the Good News.
17 Əgər bunu könüllü olaraq edirəmsə, mükafatım var. Yox, əgər bunu könüllü etmirəmsə, mənə tapşırılan vəzifəmi yerinə yetirirəm.
For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward. But if not of my own will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me.
18 Bəs onda mükafatım nədir? Mükafatım budur ki, Müjdəni yayaraq müftə vəz edirəm və Müjdəni yaymaqdan gələn ixtiyarımdan tam istifadə etmirəm.
What then is my reward? That, when I preach the Good News, I may present the Good News without charge, so as not to abuse my authority in the Good News.
19 Mən azadam və heç kəsə məxsus deyiləm, amma mümkün qədər çox insan əldə etmək üçün özümü hamıya qul etdim.
For though I was free from all, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.
20 Yəhudiləri əldə etmək üçün Yəhudilərlə Yəhudi kimi davrandım. Mən Qanun altında olmasam da, Qanun altında olanları əldə etmək üçün Qanun altında olanlarla Qanun altında olan kimi davrandım.
To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, not being myself under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;
21 Özüm Allahın qanunundan kənar deyil, Məsihin qanununa tabeyəmsə də, Qanundan kənar olanları əldə etmək üçün onlarla Qanundan kənar olan kimi davrandım.
to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Messiah), that I might win those who are without law.
22 Zəifləri əldə etmək üçün onlarla zəif kimi davrandım. Hər hansı bir yolla bəzilərini xilas etmək naminə hər kəs üçün hər şey oldum.
To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I have become all things to all people, that I may by all means save some.
23 Bunun hamısını Müjdə uğrunda, onun bərəkətinə şərik olum deyə edirəm.
Now I do all things for the sake of the Good News, that I may be a joint partaker of it.
24 Qaçışda yarışanların hamısının qaçdığını, amma təkcə bir nəfərin mükafat aldığını bilmirsinizmi? Elə qaçın ki, mükafatı qazanasınız.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win.
25 Yarışda iştirak edən hər kəs hər cəhətdən öz nəfsinə hakimdir. Onlar bunu solub gedən dəfnə çələngi almaq üçün edər, biz isə solmaz tac almaq üçün çalışırıq.
Now everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
26 Beləliklə, mən də məqsədsiz qaçmıram. Havanı vuran adam kimi yumruq atmıram.
I therefore run like that, as not uncertainly. I fight like that, as not beating the air,

but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.
