1 ১ কইনাৰ সপোন: ৰাতি মোৰ শয্যাত মোৰ প্ৰাণৰ প্ৰিয়তমক মই বিচাৰিলো; মই তেওঁক বিচাৰিলো, কিন্তু নাপালোঁ;
[[M.]] Upon my bed, in the night, I sought him whom my soul loveth; I sought him, but found him not.
2 ২ মই ভাবিলোঁ, “মই এতিয়া উঠি নগৰখনৰ মাজত ঘূৰি ফুৰিম; ৰাস্তায় ৰাস্তায়, চকবোৰত ঘূৰি ফুৰিম; তাত মই মোৰ প্রাণৰ প্রিয়তমক বিচাৰিম।” মই তেওঁক বিচাৰিলোঁ, কিন্তু নাপালোঁ।
I will arise now [[said I]], and go about the city; In the streets and the broad ways will I seek him whom my soul loveth; I sought him, but found him not.
3 ৩ প্ৰহৰীবোৰে নগৰ ঘূৰি ফুৰি পহৰা দিয়াৰ সময়ত, মোক দেখা পালে। মই তেওঁলোকক সুধিলোঁ, আপোনালোকে মোৰ প্ৰাণৰ প্ৰিয়তমক দেখিছিল নে?”
The watchmen who go about the city found me; “Have you seen [[said I]] him whom my soul loveth?”
4 ৪ তেওঁলোকক পাৰ হৈ আগুৱাই যাওঁতেই, মই মোৰ প্ৰাণৰ প্ৰিয়তমক দেখা পালোঁ। তেওঁক ধৰি মোৰ মাতৃৰ ঘৰলৈ লৈ নহালৈকে, মই তেওঁক এৰি নিদিলোঁ; যি গৰাকীয়ে মোক গর্ভত ধাৰণ কৰিছিল, মই তেওঁৰেই শোৱনি কোঠালিলৈ প্রিয়তমক লৈ আনিলো। ৰমণীসকলৰ প্রতি উক্তি:
I had but just passed them, When I found him whom my soul loveth; I held him, and would not let him go, Till I had brought him into my mother's house, Into the apartment of her that bore me.
5 ৫ হে যিৰূচালেমৰ যুৱতীসকল, কৃষ্ণসাৰ আৰু পথাৰৰ হৰিণবোৰৰ নামেৰে মোৰ ওচৰত প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়া, আমাৰ প্ৰেমৰ সময় শেষ নোহোৱালৈকে তোমালোকে আমাৰ ভালপোৱাত বিঘিনি নিদিবা। বিবাহৰ বাবে চলোমনৰ আগমণ
[[Lov.]] I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem! By the gazelles, and by the hinds of the field, That ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till she please.
6 ৬ মৰুভূমিৰ পৰা ধোঁৱাৰ স্তম্ভৰ দৰে সেই গৰাকী কোন আহিছে? তেওঁ ব্যৱসায়ীৰ সকলো ধৰণৰ মছলাগুৰিৰ গন্ধ লৈ, গন্ধৰস আৰু সুগন্ধি ধূপৰ সুবাসেৰে এক ধোঁৱাৰ স্তম্ভৰ দৰে আহিছে।
Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, Like pillars of smoke, Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, With all the powders of the merchant?
7 ৭ চোৱা, সৌৱা চলোমনৰ দোলা; ষাঠিজন বীৰ যোদ্ধাই সেই দোলাক ঘেৰি ৰাখিছে; তেওঁলোক ইস্রায়েলৰ শক্তিশালী সৈন্য।
Behold, the carriage of Solomon! Threescore valiant men are around it, Of the valiant men of Israel.
8 ৮ তেওঁলোক সকলোৰে লগত আছে তৰোৱাল; যুদ্ধত তেওঁলোক সুদক্ষ; তৰোৱাল ককালত বান্ধি লৈ তেওঁলোক প্ৰতিজন প্রস্তুত আছে ৰাতিৰ বিপদৰ কাৰণে।
They all wear swords, Being skilled in war. Every one hath his sword girt upon his thigh, On account of danger in the night.
King Solomon made for himself a carriage Of the wood of Lebanon.
10 ১০ দোলাৰ খুটাবোৰ ৰূপেৰে পিছৰ ভাগ সোণেৰে, আসনখন বেঙেনা বৰণীয়া কাপোৰেৰে তৈয়াৰী; যিৰূচালেমৰ ৰমণীসকলৰ প্রেমেৰে তাৰ ভিতৰ অংশ খচিত আৰু শোভিত কৰা হ’ল
The pillars thereof he made of silver, The railing of gold, The seat of purple, Its interior curiously wrought by a lovely one of the daughters of Jerusalem.
11 ১১ হে চিয়োনৰ যুৱতীসকল, তোমালোক বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই আহাঁ, চোৱা, ৰজা চলোমনে মুকুট পিন্ধি আছে; তেওঁৰ বিবাহৰ দিনা, তেওঁৰ সেই মনৰ আনন্দৰ দিনা, তেওঁৰ মাকে তেওঁক মুকুট পিন্ধাই দিছে।
Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion! And behold King Solomon In the crown with which his mother crowned him, In the day of his espousals, In the day of the gladness of his heart.
