ৰোমীয়া 12
1 ১ এতেকে, হে ভাই সকল, ঈশ্বৰৰ সকলো দয়াৰ দ্বাৰাই মই আপোনালোকক এই মিনতি কৰোঁ যে, আপোনালোকে নিজ নিজ শৰীৰক ঈশ্বৰৰ গ্ৰহণীয়, জীৱিত, আৰু পবিত্ৰ বলি স্বৰূপে উৎসৰ্গ কৰক; এয়েই আপোনালোকৰ যুক্তিসঙ্গত আৰাধনা।
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well-pleasing to God, which is your spiritual worship;
2 ২ আপোনালোক জগতৰ অনুৰূপ নহ’ব; কিন্তু মন নতুন কৰাৰ যোগেদি ৰূপান্তৰিত হওক, তাতে আপোনালোকে পৰীক্ষা কৰি জানি লওঁক, কোনটো উত্তম, গ্ৰহণীয় আৰু সিদ্ধ, কিয়নো এয়ে ঈশ্বৰৰ ইচ্ছা৷ (aiōn g165)
and be not conformed to the fashion of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that ye may learn by experience what is the will of God, what is good, and well-pleasing, and perfect. (aiōn g165)
3 ৩ কিয়নো মোক দিয়া অনুগ্ৰহৰ দ্বাৰাই মই আপোনালোকৰ প্ৰত্যেক জনক কওঁ যে, উপযুক্ত বিবেচনাতকৈ কোনেও নিজকে বৰ বুলি বিবেচনা নকৰক; কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰে যাক যি পৰিমাণে বিশ্বাস দিলে, তেওঁ সেই অনুসাৰে নিজৰ বিষয়ে গভীৰ মনেৰে বিবেচনা কৰক।
For through the grace given to me I warn every one among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, according to the measure of faith which God hath imparted to each.
4 ৪ কাৰণ আমাৰ এই শৰীৰত যেনেকৈ অনেক অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গ আছে, অথচ সেই সকলো অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গৰ একে ৰূপৰ কাৰ্য নহয়,
For as in one body we have many members, and the members have not all the same office,
so we, though many, form one body in Christ, and each of us is a member of it in common with the rest.
6 ৬ কিন্তু আমাক দিয়া অনুগ্ৰহৰ দৰে, আমি পৃথক পৃথক অনুগ্ৰহৰ বৰ প্ৰাপ্ত হৈছোঁ৷ সেই বৰ যদি ভাববাণী হয়, তেনেহলে বিশ্বাসৰ পৰিমাণেৰে সেয়া কওঁহক৷
Having then gifts which dither according to the grace which hath been bestowed upon us, if we have prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;
or if service, let us attend to the service; he that teacheth, let him attend to teaching;
8 ৮ উদগাওঁতাই উদগোৱা কাৰ্যত থাকক; দান দিওঁতাই দানশীলতাৰে দান কৰক; শাসন কৰা জনে যত্নেৰে শাসন কৰক; দয়া কৰা জনে হৰ্ষিত মনেৰে দয়া কৰক।
or he that exhorteth, to exhortation; he that giveth, let him do it with liberality; he that presideth over others, with diligence; he that doeth deeds of mercy, with cheerfulness.
Let your love be unfeigned. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good.
In brotherly love, be affectionate to one another; in honor, give each other the preference.
Be not backward in zeal; be fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; persevere in prayer.
Relieve the wants of the holy; be given to hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless, and curse not.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.
16 ১৬ আপোনালোকৰ পৰস্পৰৰ ভাব একে হওক। বৰ বৰ বিষয়বোৰ চিন্তা নকৰি, সামান্য লোকৰ দৰে চলক৷ নিজৰ নিজৰ মনত জ্ঞানী নহব।
Be of one mind among yourselves. Set not your minds on high things, but content yourselves with what is humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Render to no one evil for evil; have regard to what is honorable in the sight of all men.
If it be possible, as far as dependeth on you, be at peace with all men.
19 ১৯ হে প্ৰিয় সকল, আপোনালোকে অন্যায়ৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ নকৰিব, কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰৰ ক্ৰোধলৈ ঠাই থ’ব; কিয়নো এনেদৰে লিখা আছে, প্ৰভুৱে কৈছে, “প্ৰতিকাৰ কৰা মোৰ কৰ্ম; মইহে প্ৰতিফল দিম।”
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather make room for wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
20 ২০ “কিন্তু যদি তোমাৰ শত্ৰুৰ ভোক লাগে, তেনেহলে তেওঁক ভোজন কৰোঁৱা; যদি তেওঁৰ পিয়াহ লাগে, তেনেহলে জল পান কৰোঁৱা; তেনে কৰিলে তেওঁৰ মূৰত জ্বলি থকা আঙঠা দ’ম কৰি থবা”।
Therefore, “if thy enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink. For in so doing thou wilt heap coals of fire on his head.”
Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
