1 ১ এইবোৰ ঘটনা ঘটাৰ পাছত মই আন এজন দূতক স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা নমা দেখিলোঁ; তেওঁ অধিক অধিকাৰ পোৱা আৰু তেওঁৰ প্ৰতাপত পৃথিৱী খন দীপ্তিময় হ’ল।
And after these things, I saw another Angel, descending from heaven, having great authority. And the earth was illuminated by his glory.
2 ২ তেওঁ বলৱান মাতেৰে ৰিঙিয়াই ক’লে, “পৰিল, পৰিল সেই বাবিল মহা-নগৰ! তাই ভূতবোৰৰ বাসস্থান হৈ পৰিছে সকলো অশুচি আত্মাৰ কয়দখানা আৰু আটাই অশুচি আৰু ঘিণলগীয়া চৰাই বাস কৰা ঠাই হ’ল।
And he cried out with strength, saying: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great. And she has become the habitation of demons, and the keepsake of every unclean spirit, and the possession of every unclean and hateful flying thing.
3 ৩ কিয়নো সকলো জাতি তাইৰ ব্যভিচাৰৰ ক্ৰোধৰূপ দ্ৰাক্ষাৰসৰ দ্বাৰাই পতিত হ’ল৷ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ ৰজা সকলে তাইৰে সৈতে ব্যভিচাৰ কৰিলে, তাইৰ বিলাসিতা শক্তিৰ প্ৰভাৱত পৃথিৱীৰ সদাগৰ সকল ধনৱন্ত হ’ল।”
For all the nations have imbibed the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the kings of the earth have fornicated with her. And the merchants of the earth have become wealthy by the power of her pleasures.”
4 ৪ পাছত আন এক আকাশ বাণীত এনেদৰে কোৱা শুনিলোঁ, “হে মোৰ লোক সকল, তোমালোকে যেন তাইৰ পৰা ওলাই আহা যাতে তোমালোকে তাইৰ পাপৰ অংশীদাৰ নোহোৱা আৰু তাইৰ উৎপাতৰ ভাগ নোপোৱা৷
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: “Go away from her, my people, so that you may not be participants in her pleasures, and so that you may not be recipients of her afflictions.
For her sins have pierced through even to heaven, and the Lord has remembered her iniquities.
6 ৬ তাই যি দৰে দিলে, তোমালোকেও তাইক সেইদৰে প্ৰতিফল দিয়া, আৰু তাইৰ কৰ্ম অনুসাৰে দুগুণত দুগুণ প্ৰতিফল দিয়া; যি পান-পাত্ৰত পেয় যুগুত কৰিলে, সেই পান-পাত্ৰত তোমালোকেও তাইলৈ দুগুণ পেয় যুগুত কৰা।
Render to her, as she has also rendered to you. And repay her doubly, according to her works. Mix for her a double portion, in the cup with which she mixed.
7 ৭ তাই যিমান গৌৰৱ আৰু বিলাসিতা কৰিছিল তাইক সিমান যাতনা আৰু শোক দিয়া৷ কিয়নো তাই মনতে কয়, ‘মই ৰাণী হৈ বহি আছোঁ; মই বিধৱা নহওঁ আৰু মই শোকৰ দিন কেতিয়াও নেদেখিম।’
As much as she has glorified herself and lived in pleasure, so much so give to her torment and grief. For in her heart, she has said: ‘I am enthroned as queen,’ and, ‘I am not a widow,’ and, ‘I shall not see sorrow.’
8 ৮ সেই বাবে তাইৰ সকলো উৎপাত: মৃত্যু শোক আৰু আকাল; একেদিনাই উপস্থিত হ’ব৷ তাইক জুইত পুৰি পেলোৱা যাব, কিয়নো তাইৰ বিচাৰকৰ্তা প্ৰভু পৰমেশ্বৰ বলৱান।
For this reason, her afflictions shall arrive in one day: death and grief and famine. And she shall be burned with fire. For God, who will judge her, is strong.
9 ৯ পৃথিৱীৰ যি ৰজা সকলে তাইৰে সৈতে ব্যভিচাৰ আৰু বিলাসিতা কৰিছিল, তেওঁলোকে তাইক পোৰাৰ ধুঁৱা যেতিয়া দেখিব, তেতিয়া তাইৰ কাৰণে ক্ৰন্দন কৰি হিয়া ভুকুৱাব৷
And the kings of the earth, who have fornicated with her and lived in luxury, shall weep and mourn for themselves over her, when they see the smoke of her conflagration,
10 ১০ তাইৰ যাতনাৰ ভয়ত দুৰৈত থিয় হৈ এইদৰে ক’ব, “হায় হায়, বাবিল মহা-নগৰ, তুমি সন্তাপৰ পাত্ৰ, পৰাক্ৰমী বাবিল নগৰ! কিয়নো এঘণ্টাৰ ভিতৰতে তোমাৰ দণ্ডাজ্ঞা হ’ল।”
standing far away, out of fear of her torments, saying: ‘Woe! Woe! to Babylon, that great city, that strong city. For in one hour, your judgment has arrived.’
And the businessmen of the earth shall weep and mourn over her, because no one will buy their merchandise anymore:
12 ১২ কিয়নো তেওঁলোকৰ বাণিজ্য-দ্ৰব্য, অৰ্থাৎ সোণ, ৰূপ, বহুমুলীয়া মণি, মুকুতা, শণ সুতাৰ মিহি কাপোৰ, বেঙেনা বৰণীয়া কাপোৰ, পাট কাপোৰ, উজ্বল ৰঙা বৰণীয়া কাপোৰ, চন্দন আদি কাঠ, হাতী-দাঁতৰ আটাই পাত্ৰ আৰু বহুমুল্য কাঠৰ, পিতলৰ, লোহাৰ আৰু মৰ্ম্মৰ শিলৰ সকলো পাত্ৰ,
merchandise of gold and silver and precious stones and pearls, and of fine linen and purple and silk and scarlet, and of every citrus tree wood, and of every tool of ivory, and of every tool from precious stone and brass and iron and marble,
13 ১৩ ডালচেনি, মচলা, ধূপ, সুগন্ধি তেল, ধুনা-এঁঠা, দ্ৰাক্ষাৰস, তেল, মিহি আটাগুড়ি, ঘেঁহু ধান, মেৰ, ঘোঁৰা আৰু ৰথ, বন্দী মানুহ আৰু মানুহৰ প্ৰাণ, এতিয়া কোনেও নিকিনে৷
and of cinnamon and black cardamom, and of fragrances and ointments and incense, and of wine and oil and fine flour and wheat, and of beasts of burden and sheep and horses and four-wheeled wagons, and of slaves and the souls of men.
14 ১৪ তোমাৰ প্ৰাণৰ অভিলাষিত ফলবোৰ তোমাৰ পৰা গুচি গ’ল৷ সকলো শোভা আৰু দীপ্তি তোমাৰ পৰা নোহোৱা হৈ গ’ল; সেইবোৰ কেতিয়াও পুনৰ নাপাবা।
And the fruits of the desires of your soul have gone away from you. And all things fat and splendid have perished from you. And they shall never find these things again.
15 ১৫ এই সকলো বস্তুৰে যি সদাগৰ সকল তাইৰ পৰা ধনৱন্ত হৈ গ’ল, তেওঁলোকে তাইৰ যাতনা দেখি ভয়তে দুৰৈত থিয় হৈ, ক্ৰন্দন আৰু শোক কৰিব৷
The merchants of these things, who were made wealthy, shall stand far away from her, out of fear of her torments, weeping and mourning,
16 ১৬ তেওঁলোকে কব, “হায় হায়, সেই মহা-নগৰ সন্তাপৰ পাত্ৰ যি শণ সুতাৰ মিহি কাপোৰ পিন্ধা, বেঙেনা বৰণীয়া আৰু উজ্বল ৰঙা বৰণীয়া কাপোৰ পিন্ধা আৰু সোণ, বহুমুলীয়া মণি আৰু মুকুতাৰে অলঙ্কৃত হোৱা!”
and saying: ‘Woe! Woe! to that great city, which was clothed with fine linen and purple and scarlet, and which was adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls.’
17 ১৭ এঘণ্টাৰ ভিতৰতে এই সকলো ধন-সম্পত্তি ধ্বংস হ’ল। জাহাজৰ চাৰেং সকল, জাহাজেৰে ঠায়ে ঠায়ে অহা-যোৱা কৰা লোক সকল আৰু নাৱিক সকলকে আদি কৰি যিমান সমুদ্ৰ-ব্যৱসায়ী লোক আছে, সেই সকলোৱে দুৰৈত থিয় দি থাকিল৷
For such great wealth was brought to destitution in one hour. And every shipmaster, and all who navigate on lakes, and mariners, and those who work at sea, stood far away.
And they cried out, seeing the place of her conflagration, saying: ‘What city resembles this great city?’
19 ১৯ আৰু তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ মুৰত ধুলি পেলাই ক্ৰন্দন আৰু শোক কৰি ৰিঙিয়াই ক’লে, “হায় হায়, সেই মহা-নগৰ সন্তাপৰ পাত্ৰ যত সকলো জাহাজৰ গৰাকী সকল সাগৰত থাকি যি নগৰ ধনৰ বাহুল্যতাৰ দ্বাৰাই ধনৱন্ত হৈ গ’ল, এঘণ্টাৰ ভিতৰতে তাইৰ ধ্বংস হ’ল।”
And they cast dust upon their heads. And they cried out, weeping and mourning, saying: ‘Woe! Woe! to that great city, by which all who had ships at sea were made rich from her treasures. For she has been made desolate in one hour.
20 ২০ “হে স্বৰ্গ, পবিত্ৰ লোক, পাঁচনি আৰু ভাববাদী সকল, তোমালোকে তাইৰ বিষয়ে আনন্দ কৰা, কিয়নো ঈশ্বৰে তোমালোকৰ সোধ-বিচাৰ তাইৰ ওপৰত কৰিলে!”
Exult over her, O heaven, O holy Apostles and Prophets. For God has judged your judgment upon her.’”
21 ২১ পাছত এজন বলৱান দূতে এখন জাঁতৰ নিচিনা এচটা ডাঙৰ শিল তুলি লৈ সাগৰত দলিয়াই ক’লে, “এইদৰে বাবিল মহা-নগৰক বলেৰে পেলোৱা হ’ব, আৰু কেতিয়াও দেখা নাযাব।
And a certain strong Angel took up a stone, similar to a great millstone, and he cast it into the sea, saying: “With this force shall Babylon, that great city, be cast down. And she shall never be found again.
22 ২২ বীণা বজোৱা, গায়ন-বায়ন, বাঁহীবাদক আৰু কালি বজোৱা সকলৰ মাত তোমাৰ মাজত আৰু কেতিয়াও শুনা নাযাব৷ আৰু কোনো প্ৰকাৰ শিল্পকাৰী লোক তোমাৰ মাজত কেতিয়াও পোৱা নাযাব৷ জাঁত-ঘৰৰ মাত তোমাৰ মাজত কেতিয়াও শুনা নাযাব;
And the sound of singers, and musicians, and flute and trumpet players shall not be heard in you again. And every artisan of every art shall not be found in you again. And the sound of the mill shall not be heard in you again.
23 ২৩ চাকিৰ পোহৰ তোমাৰ মাজত কেতিয়াও দেখা নাযাব৷ দৰা আৰু কন্যাৰ মাত তোমাৰ মাজত কেতিয়াও শুনা নাযাব, কিয়নো তোমাৰ সদাগৰ সকল পৃথিৱীৰ ৰাজকুমাৰ আছিল, আৰু তোমাৰ মায়াকৰ্ম্মৰ দ্বাৰাই সকলো জাতিবোৰ ভ্ৰান্ত হ’ল।
And the light of the lamp shall not shine in you again. And the voice of the groom and of the bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the leaders of the earth. For all the nations were led astray by your drugs.
24 ২৪ ভাববাদী আৰু পবিত্ৰ লোক সকলকে আদি কৰি যিমান লোকক পৃথিৱীত বধ কৰা হ’ল, সেই সকলোৰে তেজ এই নগৰৰ ভিতৰত পোৱা গ’ল।”
And in her was found the blood of the Prophets and of the Saints, and of all who were slain upon the earth.”
