1 ১ হে প্ৰতিফল দিওঁতা ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা, হে প্রতিফল দিওঁতা ঈশ্বৰ, তুমি দীপ্তি প্ৰকাশ কৰা।

O GOD of avenging—Yahweh, GOD of avenging, shine forth:

2 ২ হে পৃথিৱীৰ বিচাৰকৰ্ত্তা, তুমি উঠা, অহংকাৰীবোৰক তেওঁলোকৰ যি প্রাপ্য তাক তুমি দিয়া।

Lift up thyself, O judge of the earth, Render a recompense unto the proud.

3 ৩ হে যিহোৱা, দুষ্টবোৰে কিমান কাল, দুষ্টবোৰেনো কিমান কাল উল্লাস কৰিব?

How long shall the lawless, O Yahweh, How long shall the lawless exult?

4 ৪ তেওঁলোকৰ মুখৰ পৰা দাম্ভিক কথাবোৰ বাহিৰ হৈ আহে; সকলো দুষ্টলোকে গৰ্ব্ব কৰে।

They pour forth [words], they speak arrogantly, All the workers of iniquity, do boast:

5 ৫ হে যিহোৱা, তোমাৰ লোকসকলক তেওঁলোকে চূর্ণ কৰিছে; তোমাৰ আধিপত্যক উপদ্রৱ কৰিছে।

Thy people, O Yahweh, they will crush, And, thine inheritance, tread down;

6 ৬ বিধৱা আৰু বিদেশী লোকক তেওঁলোকে বধ কৰিছে; অনাথ সকলক হত্যা কৰিছে;

The widow and sojourner, they will slay, And, the fatherless, murder.

7 ৭ তেওঁলোকে ক’য়, “যিহোৱাই নেদেখিব; যাকোবৰ ঈশ্বৰে মন নকৰিব।”

Yet have they said—Yah, doth not see, The God of Jacob, doth not understand.

8 ৮ হে বিবেকহীনবোৰ, তোমালোকে বিবেচনা কৰা; হে নিৰ্বোধবোৰ, কেতিয়া তোমালোকৰ সুবুদ্ধি হ’ব?

Understand, ye brutish among the people, And, ye dullards, when will ye show discretion?

9 ৯ যি জনাই কাণ সৃষ্টি কৰিলে, তেওঁ জানো নুশুনিব? যি জনাই চকু নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিলে, তেওঁ জানো নেদেখিব?

He that planteth the ear, shall he not hear? Or, that fashioneth the eye, shall he not have power to see?

10 ১০ যি জনাই সকলো জাতিকে শাসন কৰে আৰু লোকসকলক শিক্ষা দিয়ে, তেওঁ জানো শাস্তি নিদিয়াকৈ থাকিব?

He that correcteth nations, shall he not reprove? He that teacheth man knowledge!

11 ১১ যিহোৱাই মানুহৰ সকলো চিন্তা জানে; তেওঁ জানে যে তেওঁলোক সকলো শ্বাস মাত্র।

Yahweh, knoweth the plans of men, That, they, are a breath!

12 ১২ হে যিহোৱা, ধন্য সেইসকল লোক যাক তুমি শাসন কৰা, আৰু তোমাৰ ব্যৱস্থাৰ পৰা শিক্ষা দিয়া,

How happy the man whom thou correctest, O Yah! And whom, out of thy law, thou instructest!

13 ১৩ যাতে তেওঁলোকে বিপদৰ কালত জিৰণি পায়, যেতিয়ালৈকে দুষ্টসকলৰ কাৰণে গাত খন্দা শেষ নহয়।

That thou mayest give him rest from the days of misfortune, Until there be digged—for the lawless one—a pit.

14 ১৪ কিয়নো যিহোৱাই নিজৰ লোকসকলক ত্যাগ নকৰিব, নিজৰ আধিপত্যক পৰিত্যাগ নকৰিব।

For Yahweh, will not abandon, his people, And, his inheritance, will he not forsake;

15 ১৫ ন্যায়বিচাৰ পুনৰ ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ ওচৰলৈ উভটি আহিব; শুদ্ধ মনৰ সকলোৱেই তাক মানি চলিব।

For, unto righteousness, shall the judicial sentence return, Then shall follow it—all the upright in heart.

16 ১৬ কোনে মোৰ পক্ষ হৈ দুষ্টবোৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠিব? মোৰ পক্ষ হৈ দুষ্টবোৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কোন থিয় হ’ব?

Who will rise up for me, against the evil-doers? Who will make a stand for me, against the workers of iniquity?

17 ১৭ যদি যিহোৱাই মোক সহায় নকৰে, তেন্তে মৃত্যুৰ নীৰৱতাত মোৰ প্ৰাণে শীঘ্ৰেই বসতি কৰিলেহেঁতেন।

If, Yahweh, had not been a help to me, Soon had sunk into silence—my soul!

18 ১৮ যেতিয়াই মই ভাৱো যে, মোৰ ভৰি পিছলি গৈছে, তেতিয়াই হে যিহোৱা, তোমাৰ অসীম প্রেমে মোক ধৰি ৰাখে।

If I say, My foot, hath slipped, Thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, supporteth me.

19 ১৯ মোৰ মন যেতিয়া দুঃচিন্তাৰে ভৰি পৰে, তেতিয়া তোমাৰ শান্ত্বনাই মোৰ প্রাণত আনন্দ দান কৰে।

In the multitude of my cares within me, Thy consolations, delight my soul.

20 ২০ দুর্নীতিপৰায়ণ শাসনকর্তাসকলে দুষ্কার্যৰ কাৰণে বিধি স্থাপন কৰে, তোমাৰ লগত তেওঁলোকৰ জানো সম্পৰ্ক থাকিব পাৰে?

Shall the throne that inflicteth ruin, have fellowship with thee, That frameth oppression, by statute?

21 ২১ তেওঁলোকে ধাৰ্মিকৰ প্ৰাণৰ বিৰুদ্ধে গোট খায়; তেওঁলোকে নিৰ্দ্দোষীক মৃত্যুদণ্ড বিহিবলৈ দোষী কৰে।

They make an attack on the life of the righteous one, —And, innocent blood, they condemn.

22 ২২ কিন্তু যিহোৱাই মোৰ দুৰ্গ; মোৰ ঈশ্বৰেই মোৰ আশ্ৰয় শিলা।

But, Yahweh, hath become for me a high tower, And my God, my rock of refuge.

23 ২৩ তেওঁলোকৰ অপৰাধ তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰলৈকে আনিব, তেওঁলোকৰ দুষ্কার্যতেই তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক বিনষ্ট কৰিব; আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱায়েই তেওঁলোকক বিনষ্ট কৰিব।

Thus hath he brought back on them their iniquity, And, by their own wickedness, will he destroy them, Destroy them, will Yahweh our God.
