1 ১ হে ঈশ্বৰ, আমি তোমাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰিম; আমি তোমাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰিম, কিয়নো তুমি তোমাৰ উপস্থিতি প্রকাশ কৰিলা; লোকসকলে তোমাৰ আচৰিত কাৰ্যবোৰ বৰ্ণনা কৰি আছে।
“To the chief musician, Al-tashcheth, a psalm or song of Asaph.” We give thanks unto thee, O God, we give thanks, and nigh is thy name: men relate thy wondrous deeds.
“For I will take up a fixed time when I will judge uprightly.
3 ৩ যদিও পৃথিৱী আৰু তাৰ বাসিন্দাসকল ভয়াতুৰ আৰু দুর্বল; তথাপি ময়েই তাৰ স্তম্ভবোৰ দৃঢ়কৈ স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ। (চেলা)
The earth and all her inhabitants are melting away: I myself establish firmly her pillars.” (Selah)
4 ৪ মই অহঙ্কাৰীবোৰক কলোঁ, “তোমালোকে অহঙ্কাৰেৰে কাৰ্য নকৰিবা;” দুষ্টবোৰক ক’লো, “পৰিত্রাণ পাবলৈ নি: সংশয় নহবা; দুষ্টবোৰ জয়ী হ’বলৈ অত্যন্ত নিশ্চিন্ত নহওক।
I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn.
Lift not up on high your horn, speak not with a stiffly erect neck.
For neither from the rising [of the sun], nor from [his] setting, nor from the wilderness of mountains [cometh this];
But God is the judge: he lowereth one, and lifteth up another,
8 ৮ কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ হাতত এক পান-পাত্ৰ আছে, তাত মিশ্ৰিত দ্ৰব্যেৰে সৈতে পৰিপূৰ্ণ ফেনাই উঠা দ্রাক্ষাৰস আছে; আৰু তেওঁ সেই পাত্রৰ কিছু ঢালি দিয়ে; পৃথিৱীৰ দুষ্ট লোকবোৰে অৱশ্যেই তাৰ তলিলৈকে থকা গেদবোৰ খাব লাগিব।
For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foameth, it is full of mixture: and he poureth out of the same; but its lees they drain, they drink—all the wicked of the earth.
9 ৯ কিন্তু মই হ’লে, চিৰকাললৈ তেওঁ কৰা কার্যৰ প্ৰচাৰ কৰিম; মই যাকোবৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে স্তুতি গান কৰিম।
But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
And all the horns of the wicked will I hew off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
