1 ১ মোৰ প্ৰাণে নিৰন্তৰে কেৱল ঈশ্বৰলৈহে অপেক্ষা কৰে; তেওঁৰ পৰাই মোৰ পৰিত্ৰাণ হয়।

To the Chief Musician. On Jeduthun—A Melody of David. Surely, towards God, silence [becometh] my soul, From him, is my salvation:

2 ২ কেৱল তেৱেঁই মোৰ শিলা আৰু মোৰ পৰিত্ৰাণ; তেওঁ মোৰ উচ্চ দুৰ্গ, মই অতিকৈ লৰচৰ নহম।

Surely, he, is my rock and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be greatly shaken!

3 ৩ এজন মানুহক তোমালোকে কিমান দিনলৈকে মাৰিবৰ বাবে আক্ৰমণ কৰি থাকিবা? তেওঁ হালি থকা দেৱাল আৰু পৰোঁ পৰোঁ হোৱা বেৰৰ নিচিনা।

How long will ye shout at a man? Ye shall be crushed all of you, —Like a wall that bulgeth, —a fence pushed in!

4 ৪ তেওঁলোকে কেৱল তেওঁৰ সন্মানীয় উচ্চ পদৰ পৰা পেলাবলৈহে কুমন্ত্ৰণা কৰিছে; তেওঁলোকে মিছা কথাত সন্তোষ পায়; মুখেৰে আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰে, কিন্তু অন্তৰেৰে তেওঁলোকে শাও দিয়ে। (চেলা)

Surely, from his elevation, they have taken counsel to thrust him down, They accept falsehood, —With his mouth, they each of them bless, But, inwardly, they revile. (Selah)

5 ৫ হে মোৰ অন্তৰ, নিৰন্তৰে কেৱল ঈশ্বৰলৈহে অপেক্ষা কৰা; কিয়নো তেৱেঁই মোৰ আশা ৰোপণ কৰে।

Surely, towards God, be thou silent, my soul, For, from him, is mine expectation:

6 ৬ কেৱল তেৱেঁই মোৰ শিলা আৰু মোৰ পৰিত্ৰাণ; তেওঁ মোৰ উচ্চ দুৰ্গ, মই লৰচৰ নহম।

Surely, he, is my rock, and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be shaken!

7 ৭ ঈশ্বৰ মোৰ পৰিত্ৰাণ আৰু মোৰ গৌৰৱ; মোৰ শক্তি, মোৰ দৃঢ় শিলা আৰু আশ্ৰয় ঈশ্বৰতহে আছে।

Upon God, [depend] my salvation and mine honour, My rock of strength, my refuge, are in God.

8 ৮ হে লোকসকল, সকলো সময়তে বিশ্বাস কৰা; তোমালোকে সদায় তেওঁত নিৰ্ভৰ কৰা; তোমালোকৰ মনৰ সকলো অশান্তিৰ কথা তেওঁৰ আগত কোৱা; কাৰণ ঈশ্বৰেই আমাৰ আশ্ৰয় স্থল। (চেলা)

Trust ye in him all ye assembly of the people, Pour out, before him, your heart, God, is a refuge for us. (Selah)

9 ৯ অৱশ্যে সামান্য লোকসকল অসাৰ আৰু মান্যৱন্ত লোকসকল মিছা; তেওঁলোক তৰ্জুত দাং খাব; ভাপতকৈয়ো তেওঁলোক একেবাৰে ওজনহীন।

Surely, vanity, are men of low degree, Deception, men of high degree, —In the balances, they go up, They, are [made] of vanity, altogether.

10 ১০ তোমালোকে নির্দয় ব্যবহাৰ আৰু প্রবঞ্চনা কৰা সকলক বিশ্বাস নকৰিবা; বৃথা ধনী হ’বলৈ আশা নকৰিবা, ধন-সম্পত্তি বাঢ়িলে তালৈ মন নিদিবা।

Do not trust in extortion, Nor, with robbery, become vain, As for wealth, when it beareth fruit, Do not set [thereon your] heart.

11 ১১ ঈশ্বৰে এবাৰ ক’লে; মই ইয়াক দুবাৰ শুনিলোঁ, যে পৰাক্ৰম ঈশ্বৰৰহে।

One thing, hath God spoken, Two things, [there are] which I have heard, That, power, belongeth unto God;

12 ১২ হে প্ৰভু, প্ৰতিজ্ঞা আৰু বিশ্বস্ততা তোমাৰ অধীন; কিয়নো তুমি প্ৰত্যেক মানুহক তেওঁলোকৰ কৰ্মৰ অনুসাৰে প্ৰতিফল দিছা।

And, thine, O My Lord, is lovingkindness, —For, thou, wilt pay back unto every man—according to his deed.
