1 ১ তুমি দুষ্টবোৰৰ কাৰণে অস্থিৰ নহবা; কুকার্য কৰাবোৰক দেখি হিংসা নকৰিবা।

“A psalm of David.” Be not thou angry on account of the wicked, Nor be envious of those who do iniquity.

2 ২ কিয়নো তেওঁলোক ঘাঁহৰ দৰে শীঘ্রেই শুকাই যাব, সেউজীয়া তৃণৰ নিচিনাকৈ জঁয় পৰিব।

For soon shall they be cut down like grass, And wither like the green herb.

3 ৩ যিহোৱাত ভাৰসা ৰাখা আৰু সুকৰ্ম কৰা; দেশত বাস কৰা আৰু নিৰাপদে থাকা।

Trust in the LORD, and do good; Abide in the land, and delight in faithfulness.

4 ৪ যিহোৱাত আনন্দ কৰা; তাতে তেওঁ তোমাৰ মনৰ বাঞ্ছা পূর্ণ কৰিব।

Place thy delight in the LORD. And he will give thee thy heart's desires.

5 ৫ তোমাৰ পথ যিহোৱাত সমৰ্পণ কৰা; তেওঁত ভাৰসা ৰাখা; তাতে তেৱেঁই সকলো কৰিব।

Commit thy way to the LORD; Trust in him, and he will give thee success!

6 ৬ তেৱেঁই তোমাৰ সততা দীপ্তিৰ দৰে উজ্জ্বল কৰি তুলিব; তোমাৰ ন্যায় কাৰ্য দুপৰীয়াৰ ৰ’দৰ নিচিনাকৈ প্ৰকাশ কৰিব।

He will cause thy justice to shine forth like the light, And thy righteousness like the noonday's brightness.

7 ৭ যিহোৱাৰ আগত শান্ত হোৱা; ধৈৰ্যেৰে তেওঁলৈ অপেক্ষা কৰা। যি মানুহে নিজৰ দুষ্ট পৰিকল্পনাৰে কৃতকাৰ্য্য হবলৈ কর্ম কৰে, তাত তুমি অসন্তোষ্ট নহ’বা;

Hope thou patiently on the LORD, And in him place thy trust! Be not angry on account of the prosperous, —On account of him that deviseth deceit!

8 ৮ ক্ৰোধ এৰা, কোপ ত্যাগ কৰা; বেজাৰ নকৰিবা, কেৱল হানিহে হয়।

Cease from anger; give not way to wrath; Be not provoked, so as to do evil!

9 ৯ কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰ উচ্ছন্ন হব, কিন্তু যিহোৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰা লোকে হলে দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিব।

For evil-doers shall be rooted out; But they who trust in the LORD, they shall inherit the land.

10 ১০ কিন্তু অলপতে দুষ্টলোক শেষ হৈ যাব; তুমি যত্নেৰে বিচাৰিলেও তেওঁলোকৰ ঠাইত তেওঁলোকক পোৱা নাযাব।

Yet a little while, and the wicked shall be no more; Thou mayst look for his place, and he will not be found.

11 ১১ কিন্তু নম্ৰসকলে দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিব; প্ৰচুৰ আশীর্বাদ পাই তেওঁলোক আনন্দিত হব।

But the meek shall inherit the land, And delight themselves in the fulness of prosperity.

12 ১২ দুষ্টই ধাৰ্মিকলোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কুমন্ত্ৰণা কৰে; তেওঁলোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে দাঁত কৰঁচে।

The wicked man plotteth against the just, And gnasheth at him with his teeth.

13 ১৩ প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁলোকক দেখি হাঁহিছে; কিয়নো তেওঁ দেখিছে যে, তেওঁলোকৰ শেষ দিন চাপি আহিছে।

The Lord laugheth at him; For he seeth that his day is coming.

14 ১৪ দুখী-দৰিদ্ৰক বিনাশ কৰিবলৈ আৰু সৎ পথত চলাসকলক বধ কৰিবলৈ, দুষ্টবোৰে নিজৰ তৰোৱাল উলিয়াইছে আৰু নিজৰ নিজৰ ধনু ভিৰাইছে।

The wicked draw the sword, And bend their bow, To cast down the afflicted and the needy, And to slay the upright.

15 ১৫ কিন্তু তেওঁলোকৰ তৰোৱাল তেওঁলোকৰ নিজৰ বুকুতে সোমাব, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ ধনু ভঙা হব।

Their swords shall enter their own hearts, And their bows shall be broken in pieces.

16 ১৬ দুষ্টলোকৰ প্রচুৰ ধনৰাশিতকৈয়ো, ধাৰ্মিকৰ অলপ সম্পত্তিয়েই ভাল।

Better is the little of the righteous man Than the great abundance of the wicked;

17 ১৭ কিয়নো দুষ্টবোৰৰ বাহু ভঙা হব। কিন্তু যিহোৱাই ধাৰ্মিকসকলক ধৰি ৰাখিব।

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD will uphold the righteous.

18 ১৮ সিদ্ধ লোকৰ সকলো দিন যিহোৱাই জানে, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ আধিপত্য চিৰকাললৈকে থাকিব।

The LORD careth for the life of the upright, And their inheritance shall endure for ever.

19 ১৯ সঙ্কটৰ সময়ত তেওঁলোক লাজত নপৰিব, আৰু আকালৰ সময়ত তেওঁলোক তৃপ্ত হব।

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall have enough.

20 ২০ দুষ্টবোৰ বিনষ্ট হব, যিহোৱাৰ শত্রুবোৰ পথাৰৰ তৃণৰ শোভাৰ সদৃশ হব; তেওঁলোক অদৃশ্য হৈ যাব; ধোঁৱাৰ নিচিনাকৈ তেওঁলোক নোহোৱা হ’ব।

But the wicked shall perish; Yea, the enemies of the LORD shall be consumed, like the glory of the fields; They shall be consumed into smoke.

21 ২১ দুষ্টই ধাৰে লয়, কিন্তু তাক পৰিশোধ নকৰে; কিন্তু ধাৰ্মিক লোক দয়াৱান আৰু দানশীল।

The wicked borroweth, and repayeth not; But the righteous is merciful and bountiful.

22 ২২ যিহোৱাৰ আশীৰ্ব্বাদ পোৱাসকল পৃথিবীৰ অধিকাৰী হব, কিন্তু যি সকলক তেওঁ অভিশাপ দিয়ে, তেওঁলোক উচ্ছন্ন হব।

For they who are blessed by God shall inherit the land, And they who are cursed by him shall be rooted out.

23 ২৩ যিহোৱাই আমাৰ খোজৰ গতি স্থিৰ কৰে; তেওঁ তেওঁৰ পথত সন্তোষ পায়।

The steps of the good man are directed by the LORD; He delighteth himself in his way.

24 ২৪ তেওঁ উজুতি খাই পৰিলেও নিচেইকৈ পতিত নহব; কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ হাতেই তেওঁক ধৰি ৰাখিছে।

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, For the LORD holdeth him by the hand.

25 ২৫ মই যুৱক আছিলোঁ, এতিয়া বুঢ়া হ’লো; কিন্তু মই ধাৰ্মিকক ত্যাগ কৰা, নাইবা তেওঁলোকৰ বংশধৰসকলে ভিক্ষা কৰা, এনে কেতিয়াও দেখা নাই।

I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his offspring begging bread.

26 ২৬ ধার্মিকসকল সদায় দয়ালু, আৰু তেওঁলোকে ধাৰে দিয়ে; তেওঁলোকৰ বংশই আশীৰ্ব্বাদ পায়।

He is ever merciful and lendeth, And his offspring shall be blessed.

27 ২৭ তুমি দুষ্টতাৰ পৰা আতৰি আহাঁ আৰু ভাল কৰ্ম কৰা; তুমি চিৰকাল জীয়াই থাকিবা।

Depart from evil, and do good; So thou shalt dwell in the land for ever.

28 ২৮ কিয়নো যিহোৱাই ন্যায় বিচাৰ ভাল পায়, তেওঁৰ ভক্তসকলক তেওঁ পৰিত্যাগ নকৰে; অনন্ত কাললৈকে তেওঁলোকক ৰক্ষা কৰা হ’ব; কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ বংশক হলে ধ্বংস কৰা হ’ব।

For the LORD loveth righteousness, And forsaketh not his servants; They are preserved for ever; But the posterity of the wicked shall be rooted out.

29 ২৯ ধাৰ্মিকসকল পৃথিবীৰ অধিকাৰী হব; তেওঁলোক তাত সৰ্ব্বতিকাললৈকে বাস কৰিব।

The righteous shall inherit the land, And shall dwell therein for ever.

30 ৩০ ধাৰ্মিকৰ মুখে জ্ঞানৰ কথা প্ৰচাৰ কৰে, তেওঁলোকৰ জিভাই ন্যায় কথা প্রকাশ কৰে।

The mouth of the righteous uttereth wisdom, And his tongue speaketh what is right.

31 ৩১ তেওঁলোকৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ ব্যৱস্থা তেওঁলোকৰ হৃদয়ত আছে; তেওঁলোকৰ ভৰি পিছলি নাযায়।

The law of his God is in his heart; His footsteps shall not slip.

32 ৩২ দুষ্টলোকে ধাৰ্মিক লোকলৈ খাপ পাতি থাকে, তেওঁলোকক বধ কৰিবলৈ বিচাৰে।

The wicked watcheth the righteous, And seeketh to slay him;

33 ৩৩ কিন্তু যিহোৱাই দুষ্টলোকৰ হাতত তেওঁলোকক এৰি নিদিব, বিচাৰত তেওঁলোকক দোষী নকৰিব।

The Lord will not leave him in his hand, Nor suffer him to be condemned, when he is judged.

34 ৩৪ যিহোৱাৰ অপেক্ষাত থাকা, তেওঁৰ পথত চলা; তাতে তেওঁ পৃথিবীৰ অধিকাৰী হবলৈ তোমাক উন্নত কৰিব। দুষ্টবোৰ উচ্ছন্ন হ’লে তুমি তাক দেখিবলৈ পাবা।

Trust in the LORD, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to the possession of the land, Whilst thou shalt see the destruction of the wicked!

35 ৩৫ মই দুষ্টলোকৰ অত্যাচাৰ বৃদ্ধি পোৱা দেখিলোঁ, সেউজ গছৰ দৰে বাঢ়ি যোৱা দেখিলোঁ।

I have seen a wicked man in great power, And spreading himself like a green cedar;

36 ৩৬ কিন্তু মই পুনৰ যেতিয়া ওচৰেদি পাৰ হৈ গ’লো, তেওঁলোক নোহোৱা হ’ল; মই বিচাৰিলোঁ, কিন্তু তেওঁলোকক পোৱা নগ’ল।

But he passed away, and, lo! he was no more; Yea, I sought him, but he was not found.

37 ৩৭ সিদ্ধ লোকৰ জীৱনলৈ লক্ষ্য কৰা, সৎ লোকসকলক নিৰীক্ষণ কৰা; কিয়নো শান্তিপ্রিয় লোকৰ বংশৰ কল্যাণ হয়।

Mark the righteous man, and behold the upright, That posterity is to the man of peace!

38 ৩৮ কিন্তু পাপী লোক সম্পূর্ণকৈ ধ্বংস হ’ব; দুষ্টলোকৰ বংশ ধ্বংস হ’ব।

But transgressors will all be destroyed; The posterity of the wicked shall be rooted out.

39 ৩৯ ধাৰ্মিকসকলৰ পৰিত্ৰাণ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা আহে; সঙ্কটৰ কালত তেৱেঁই তেওঁলোকৰ আশ্ৰয়।

The salvation of the just is from the LORD. He is their strength in the time of trouble.

40 ৪০ যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকক সহায় আৰু ৰক্ষা কৰে; দুষ্ট লোকসকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা তেৱেঁই তেওঁলোকক উদ্ধাৰ কৰি পৰিত্রাণ দিয়ে, কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে তেওঁতে আশ্ৰয় লৈছে।

The LORD will help and deliver them; He will deliver them from their enemies, and save them, Because they trust in him.
