সামসঙ্গীত 34

1 ১ মই সকলো সময়তে যিহোৱাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰিম; তেওঁৰ প্ৰশংসা মোৰ মুখত থাকিব।

[A Psalm] of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise [shall] continually [be] in my mouth.

2 ২ মোৰ প্ৰাণে যিহোৱাতেই গৌৰৱ কৰে; তাকে শুনি নম্ৰ লোকে আনন্দ কৰক।

My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and be glad.

3 ৩ তোমালোকে মোৰে সৈতে যিহোৱাৰ মহিমা কীৰ্ত্তন কৰা; আহাঁ, আমি একেলগে তেওঁৰ নামৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰোঁহক।

O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 ৪ মই যিহোৱাক বিচাৰিলো, তাতে তেওঁ মোক উত্তৰ দিলে; মোৰ সকলো ভয়ৰ পৰা তেওঁ মোক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিলে।

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 ৫ তেওঁৰ ফালে যেতিয়া লোকসকলে চায়, তেওঁলোক তেতিয়া জ্যোতিষ্মান হৈ উঠে। তেওঁলোকৰ মুখ লাজত কেতিয়াও বিবৰ্ণ নহব।

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 ৬ এই দুখীয়ে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰাত যিহোৱাই শুনিলে, সকলো সঙ্কটৰ পৰা তেওঁক পৰিত্ৰাণ কৰিলে।

This poor man cried, and the LORD heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 ৭ যিহোৱালৈ ভয় ৰাখোঁতাসকলৰ চাৰিওফালে যিহোৱাৰ দূতে ছাউনি পাতে আৰু তেওঁলোকক উদ্ধাৰ কৰে।

The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 ৮ যিহোৱা যে মঙ্গলময় তাক তোমালোকে আস্বাদন কৰি চোৱা; তেওঁত আশ্ৰয় লোৱা লোক ধন্য।

O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him.

9 ৯ হে যিহোৱাৰ পবিত্ৰ লোকসকল, তোমালোকে তেওঁলৈ ভয় ৰাখা; কিয়নো যিসকলে তেওঁলৈ ভয় ৰাখে, তেওঁলোকৰ একোৰে অভাৱ নহয়।

O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for [there is] no want to them that fear him.

10 ১০ ডেকা সিংহবোৰৰ আহাৰৰ অভাৱ হয়, সিহঁতে ভোকত কষ্ট পায়: কিন্তু যিসকলে যিহোৱাক বিচাৰে, তেওঁলোকৰ মঙ্গলৰ অভাৱ নহয়।

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good [thing].

11 ১১ হে সন্তান সকল আহাঁ, তোমালোকে মোৰ বাক্য শুনা; মই তোমালোকক যিহোৱাৰ ভয় শিকাম।

Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 ১২ তোমালোকৰ মাজত কোনে এই জীৱন ভোগ কৰিব বিচাৰে? সুখ ভোগ কৰিবৰ কাৰণে কোনে দীর্ঘায়ু বিচাৰে?

What man [is he that] desireth life, [and] loveth [many] days, that he may see good?

13 ১৩ তুমি দুষ্টতাৰ পৰা তোমাৰ জিভা আৰু ছলনা বাক্যৰ পৰা তোমাৰ ওঁঠক ৰাখা।

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 ১৪ তুমি দুষ্টতাৰ পৰা আঁতৰি সুকৰ্ম কৰা; তুমি শান্তি বিচাৰা আৰু তাৰ পাছে পাছে খেদি যোৱা।

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 ১৫ যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টি ধাৰ্মিকসকলৰ ওপৰত থাকে; তেওঁৰ কাণ তেওঁলোকৰ কাতৰোক্তি শুনিবলৈ মুকলি থাকে।

The eyes of the LORD [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their cry.

16 ১৬ যিসকলে দুষ্টতাৰ কার্য কৰে, যিহোৱা তেওঁলোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে, তেওঁ পৃথিবীৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকৰ স্মৰণ মছি পেলাব।

The face of the LORD [is] against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 ১৭ ধাৰ্মিক লোকে সহায়ৰ কাৰণে কাতৰোক্তি কৰিলে যিহোৱাই শুনে; যিহোৱাই সকলো সঙ্কটৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক ৰক্ষা কৰে।

[The righteous] cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 ১৮ যিহোৱা ভগ্নচিত্তীয়াসকলৰ ওচৰ; খেদিত মন হোৱাসকলক তেওঁ পৰিত্ৰাণ কৰে।

The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 ১৯ ধাৰ্মিক লোকৰ বিপদ অনেক হলেও, সেই সকলোৰে পৰা যিহোৱায়েই তেওঁক উদ্ধাৰ কৰে।

Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20 ২০ যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ সকলো অস্থি ৰক্ষা কৰে; তাৰ মাজৰ এডালিও ভগ্ন নহয়।

He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 ২১ দুষ্ট লোকৰ মৃত্যু দুষ্টতাৰ হাতত; ধাৰ্মিক লোকক ঘিণাওঁতাসকল দণ্ডিত হব।

Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 ২২ যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰৰ প্ৰাণ মুক্ত কৰে; তেওঁত আশ্ৰয় লোৱা সকলৰ কোনোৱেই দণ্ডিত নহব।

The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
