1 ১ হে ধাৰ্মিক লোকসকল, যিহোৱাত আনন্দ-ধ্ৱনি কৰা, তেওঁৰ প্রশংসা কৰা সাধু লোকৰেই কাম।

A Psalm of David. Exult in the Lord, you just ones; together praise the upright.

2 ২ বীণাৰে সৈতে যিহোৱাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰা, দহগুণীয়া নেবল যন্ত্ৰৰে তেওঁৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰা।

Confess to the Lord with stringed instruments; sing psalms to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.

3 ৩ তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে এটি নতুন গীত গোৱা; দক্ষতাৰে বাদ্য-যন্ত্র বজাই জয়-ধ্বনি কৰা।

Sing to him a new song. Sing psalms to him skillfully, with loud exclamation.

4 ৪ যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য সত্য; তেওঁৰ সকলো কাৰ্যত তেওঁ বিশ্বাসযোগ্য।

For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are in faith.

5 ৫ তেওঁ ধাৰ্মিকতা আৰু ন্যায়বিচাৰ ভাল পায়; সমগ্র পৃথিৱী যিহোৱাৰ দয়াৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ।

He loves mercy and judgment. The earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.

6 ৬ যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰাই আকাশ-মণ্ডল নির্মাণ কৰা হ’ল, তাত থকা সকলো বাহিনী তেওঁৰ মুখৰ প্ৰশ্বাসেৰে নির্মিত হ’ল।

By the word of the Lord, the heavens were established, and all their power, by the Spirit of his mouth:

7 ৭ তেওঁ সমুদ্ৰৰ জল সমূহক বটলত গোটাই ৰখাৰ দৰেই জমা কৰিলে; মহাসাগৰৰ গভীৰ জলৰাশিক ভঁৰালবোৰত ৰাখিলে।

gathering together the waters of the sea, as if in a container, placing the depths in storage.

8 ৮ গোটেই পৃথিবীয়ে যিহোৱালৈ ভয় ৰাখক; জগতৰ সকলোৱে তেওঁৰ আগত সমীহ কৰি থিয় হওক।

Let all the earth fear the Lord, and may all the inhabitants of the world quake before him.

9 ৯ কিয়নো তেওঁ ক’লে আৰু সকলোবোৰ সৃষ্টি হ’ল, তেওঁ আজ্ঞা দিলে আৰু সকলো প্রতিস্থিত হ’ল।

For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.

10 ১০ যিহোৱাই জাতিবোৰৰ পৰিকল্পনা নিস্ফল কৰে, তেওঁ লোক সমূহৰ সঙ্কল্পবোৰ ব্যৰ্থ কৰে।

The Lord scatters the counsels of the nations. Moreover, he reproves the thoughts of the people, and he rejects the counsels of the leaders.

11 ১১ যিহোৱাৰ পৰিকল্পনা চিৰকাললৈকে থিৰে থাকে; তেওঁৰ মনৰ সঙ্কল্প পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে স্থায়ী।

But the counsel of the Lord remains for eternity, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.

12 ১২ ধন্য সেই জাতি, যি জাতিৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা; সেই লোকসকলক তেওঁ নিজৰ আধিপত্যৰ অর্থে মনোনীত কৰিলে।

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his inheritance.

13 ১৩ যিহোৱাই স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা তললৈ দৃষ্টিপাত কৰে; তেওঁ সকলো মনুষ্য সন্তানক নিৰীক্ষণ কৰে।

The Lord has looked down from heaven. He has seen all the sons of men.

14 ১৪ পৃথিৱী নিবাসী সকলো লোকৰ ওপৰত তেওঁ নিজৰ বাসস্থানৰ পৰা দৃষ্টি ৰাখে।

From his well-prepared dwelling place, he has gazed upon all who dwell on the earth.

15 ১৫ তেৱেঁই তেওঁলোক সকলোৰে হৃদয়ৰ নিৰ্ম্মাণকৰ্ত্তা; তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো কাৰ্যই তেওঁ নিৰীক্ষণ কৰে।

He has formed the hearts of each one of them; he understands all their works.

16 ১৬ বৃহৎ সৈন্যদল থাকিলেও ৰজাই তাৰ দ্বাৰা ৰক্ষা নাপায়; মহাশক্তিৰ দ্বাৰাও কোনো যোদ্ধা ৰক্ষা নাপায়।

The king is not saved by great power, nor will the giant be saved by his many powers.

17 ১৭ জয়ৰ অৰ্থে ঘোঁৰাৰ ওপৰত নির্ভৰ কৰা এক মিছা আশা; মহা-শক্তি থাকিলেও ঘোঁৰাই তাৰ বলেৰে ৰক্ষা কৰিব নোৱাৰে।

The horse is false safety; for he will not be saved by the abundance of his powers.

18 ১৮ যিসকলে যিহোৱালৈ ভয় ৰাখে, যিসকলে তেওঁৰ অসীম দয়াৰ ওপৰত আশা ৰাখে, যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টি তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত থাকে,

Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him and on those who hope in his mercy,

19 ১৯ যাতে মৃত্যুৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকৰ প্রাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিব পাৰে; আকালৰ সময়ত তেওঁলোকক জীয়াই ৰাখিব পাৰে;

so as to rescue their souls from death and to feed them during famine.

20 ২০ আমাৰ প্ৰাণে যিহোৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰে; তেঁৱেই আমাৰ সহায় আৰু আমাৰ ঢাল।

Our soul remains with the Lord. For he is our helper and protector.

21 ২১ আমাৰ হৃদয়ে তেওঁতেই আনন্দ কৰে; কাৰণ আমি তেওঁৰ পবিত্ৰ নামত ভাৰসা কৰিছোঁ।

For in him, our heart will rejoice, and in his holy name, we have hoped.

22 ২২ হে যিহোৱা, আমাৰ ওপৰত তোমাৰ অসীম প্রেম থাকক, কিয়নো তুমিয়েই আমাৰ আশাভূমি হৈছা।

Let your mercy be upon us, O Lord, just as we have hoped in you.
