Wherefore did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things?
2 ২ যিহোৱা আৰু তেওঁৰ অভিষিক্তজনাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পৃথিবীৰ ৰজাসকল একেলগে থিয় হৈছে, শাসনকর্তাসকলে একেলগে গোপন ষড়যন্ত্র কৰিছে;
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against his Christ;
3 ৩ তেওঁলোকে কৈছে, “আহাঁ আমি তেওঁলোকৰ বন্ধন ছিঙি পেলাওঁ, আমাৰ ওপৰৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকৰ শিকলিবোৰ পেলাই দিওঁ।”
[saying], Let us break through their bonds, and cast away their yoke from us.
He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh them to scorn, and the Lord shall mock them.
Then shall he speak to them in his anger, and trouble them in his fury.
But I have been made king by him on Sion his holy mountain,
7 ৭ ৰজাই ক’ব, যিহোৱাই যি নির্দেশ দিছে, মই তাক ঘোষণা কৰিম; যিহোৱাই মোক কৈছে, “তুমি মোৰ পুত্ৰ, আজিয়েই মই তোমাক পিতৃৰূপে জন্ম দিলোঁ।
declaring the ordinance of the Lord: the Lord said to me, Thou art my Son, to-day have I begotten thee.
8 ৮ তুমি মোৰ ওচৰত বিচাৰা, তাতে মই তোমাক অধিকাৰৰ অৰ্থে জাতিবোৰ দিম, পৃথিবীৰ সকলো সীমা তোমাৰ অধিকাৰলৈ আহিব।
Ask of me, and I will give thee the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the ends of the earth [for] thy possession.
9 ৯ লোহাৰ দণ্ডৰে তুমি তেওঁলোকক ভাঙি পেলাবা; কুমাৰৰ মাটিৰ পাত্ৰৰ দৰে তুমি তেওঁলোকক চূর্ণ-বিচূর্ণ কৰিবা।”
Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.
Now therefore understand, ye kings: be instructed, all ye that judge the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in him with trembling.
12 ১২ তোমালোকে তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰক সন্মানেৰে চুমা খোৱা, নহলে তেওঁ তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত ক্রুদ্ধ হ’ব, তোমালোক নিজৰ পথতে বিনষ্ট হবা; কিয়নো তেওঁৰ ক্ৰোধ নিমিষতে জ্বলি উঠিব পাৰে। ধন্য সেইসকল, যিসকলে তেওঁত আশ্ৰয় লয়।
Accept correction, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and ye should perish from the righteous way: whensoever his wrath shall be suddenly kindled, blessed are all they that trust in him.
