1 ১ হে যিহোৱা, মোৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা শুনা, মোৰ কাকুতিলৈ কাণ পাতা; তোমাৰ বিশ্বস্ততা আৰু ধাৰ্মিকতাত মোক উত্তৰ দিয়া।
“A psalm of David.” Hear my prayer, O LORD! give ear to my supplications! In thy faithfulness, and in thy righteousness, answer me!
2 ২ তোমাৰ দাসক বিচাৰলৈ নিনিবা; কিয়নো তোমাৰ দৃষ্টিত কোনো জীৱিত লোক ধাৰ্মিক নহয়।
Enter not into judgment with thy servant; For before thee no man living is righteous.
3 ৩ শত্ৰুৱে মোক পাছে পাছে খেদি আহিল, তেওঁ মোক মাটিত পেলাই মোৰ জীৱন ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন কৰিলে, দীর্ঘ দিনৰ আগেয়ে মৃত হোৱা লোকৰ দৰে তেওঁ মোক অন্ধকাৰময় ঠাইত বসতি কৰালে।
For the enemy pursueth my life; He hath smitten me to the ground; He hath made me dwell in darkness, As those that have been dead of old.
4 ৪ সেইবাবে মোৰ আত্মা অন্তৰত ব্যাকুল হৈছে; মোৰ অন্তৰত মন অসাৰ হৈ পৰিছে।
My spirit is overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is desolate.
5 ৫ মই পূৰ্বকালৰ দিনৰ কথা মনত পেলাও, মই তোমাৰ সকলো কার্যৰ বিষয়ে চিন্তা কৰোঁ, তোমাৰ হাতৰ কাৰ্যবোৰ ধ্যান কৰোঁ।
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the deeds of thy hands.
6 ৬ মই তোমাৰ ফালে মোৰ হাত মেলি আগবঢ়াই দিছোঁ; শুকান ভূমিৰ নিচিনাকৈ মোৰ প্ৰাণ তোমাৰ কাৰণে তৃষ্ণাতুৰ হৈছে। (চেলা)
I stretch forth my hands unto thee; My soul thirsteth for thee, like a parched land.
7 ৭ হে যিহোৱা, তুমি শীঘ্ৰে মোক উত্তৰ দিয়া, কাৰণ মোৰ আত্মাৰ উৎসাহ নোহোৱা হৈছে; মোৰ পৰা তোমাৰ মুখ লুকুৱাই নাৰাখিবা, মই গাতলৈ নামি যোৱাবোৰৰ নিচিনা হৈ পৰিম।
Hear me speedily, O LORD! My spirit faileth; Hide not thy face from me. Lest I become like those who go down to the pit!
8 ৮ ৰাতিপুৱাতে মোক তোমাৰ সুস্থিৰ প্রেমৰ বচন শুনুউৱা, কাৰণ মই তোমাৰ ওপৰতে ভাৰসা কৰিছোঁ; তুমি মোক মই চলিবলগীয়া পথ শিকোঁৱা, কিয়নো মই মোৰ প্রাণ তোমালৈ তুলি ধৰিছোঁ।
Cause me so see thy loving-kindness speedily; For in thee do I trust! Make known to me the way which I should take; For to thee do I lift up my soul!
9 ৯ হে যিহোৱা, মোৰ শত্ৰুবোৰৰ পৰা তুমি মোক উদ্ধাৰ কৰা; মই লুকাবৰ কাৰণে তোমাৰ ওচৰলৈ পলাই আহিছোঁ;
Deliver me, O LORD! from mine enemies; For in thee do I seek refuge!
10 ১০ তোমাৰ ইচ্ছাৰ কার্য সিদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ তুমি শিকোৱা, কিয়নো তুমিয়েই মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ; তোমাৰ মংগলময় আত্মাৰে মোক সমান পথত চলাই নিয়া।
Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God! Let thy good spirit lead me in a plain path!
11 ১১ হে যিহোৱা, তোমাৰ নামৰ কাৰণে মোক পুনৰায় সঞ্জীৱিত কৰা; তোমাৰ ধাৰ্মিকতাৰে সংকটৰ পৰা তুমি মোক উদ্ধাৰ কৰা।
Revive me, O LORD! for thy name's sake! In thy righteousness, bring me out of my distress!
12 ১২ তোমাৰ সুস্থিৰ প্রেমেৰে মোৰ শত্ৰুবোৰক উচ্ছন্ন কৰা; মোৰ সকলো বিপক্ষবোৰক তুমি ধ্বংস কৰা, কিয়নো মই তোমাৰ দাস।
And, in thy compassion, cut off mine enemies, And destroy all that distress me! For I am thy servant.
