1 ১ হে যিহোৱা, মই তোমাক মাতিছো; তুমি শীঘ্রেই মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহাঁ। মই প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা কালত তুমি মোৰ স্বৰলৈ কাণ পাতা।
A Melody of David. O Yahweh, I have cried unto thee, Make thou haste to me, Give ear unto my voice, when I cry to thee.
2 ২ মোৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা তোমাৰ আগত সুগন্ধি ধূপৰ দৰে হওঁক, মই ওপৰলৈ তোলা মোৰ হাত সন্ধিয়া উৎসর্গ কৰা বলিদানৰ দৰে হওঁক।
Let my prayer be set in order like incense before thee, —the lifting up of my hands, as the evening gift.
Set thou, O Yahweh, a watch at my mouth, Keep thou guard over the door of my lips.
4 ৪ কোনো মন্দ বিষয়ত মোৰ মন প্রবৃত্ত নকৰিবা, মই যেন অধার্মিকবোৰৰ সৈতে দুষ্টতাৰ কাৰ্য নকৰোঁ; তেওঁলোকৰ সুস্বাদু আহাৰ যেন মই গ্রহণ নকৰোঁ।
Let not my heart incline to a matter of wrong, that I should busy myself with practices in lawlessness, with men working iniquity, and let me not eat of their dainties.
5 ৫ ধাৰ্মিক লোকে মোক প্ৰহাৰ কৰক, সেয়া মোৰ বাবে এক দয়া হ’ব; তেওঁ মোক অনুযোগ কৰক, সেয়া মোৰ মূৰত দিয়া তেলৰ নিচিনা হ’ব; মোৰ মূৰে তাক গ্রহণ কৰিবলৈ অগ্ৰাহ্য নকৰক। কিন্তু মোৰ প্রার্থনা সকলো সময়তে দুষ্টবোৰৰ কার্যৰ বিৰুদ্ধে থাকিব।
Let a righteous man smite me—a lovingkindness, that he should correct me, an oil for the head [which] let not my head refuse! For, yet, even my prayer, shall be in their calamities.
6 ৬ তেওঁলোকৰ শাসক সকলক ওখ পর্বতৰ ওপৰৰ পৰা তললৈ পেলোৱা হ’ব, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে মোৰ বাক্যলৈ কাণ দিব, কিয়নো সেয়ে মধুৰ।
Their judges, have been hurled down by a crag, Now have men heard my sayings, for they have become sweet.
As when one plougheth and furroweth the earth, Scattered about, are our bones at the mouth of hades! (Sheol h7585)
8 ৮ কিন্তু হে মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা, মোৰ চকু তোমাৰ ফালেই আছে; মই তোমাতেই আশ্ৰয় লৈছোঁ, মোৰ প্ৰাণ মৃত্যুৰ হাতত এৰি নিদিবা।
Surely, unto thee, O Yahweh, My Lord, are mine eyes, In thee, have I sought refuge, Do not pour out my life.
Keep me out of the clutches of the trap they have set for me, and the snares of the workers of iniquity.
They who are lawless, shall fall into the nooses thereof, while, I, at the same time, pass on.
