1 ১ হে যিহোৱা, মই গভীৰ কষ্টৰ মাজত থাকি তোমাক মাতিছো।

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” Out of the depths do I cry to thee, O LORD!

2 ২ হে প্ৰভু, মোৰ স্বৰ শুনা! মোৰ কাকুতিৰ স্বৰলৈ তুমি মনোযোগ দিয়া!

O Lord! listen to my voice, Let thine ears be attentive to my supplication!

3 ৩ হে যিহোৱা, তুমি যদি অপৰাধ ধৰি ৰাখা, তেন্তে প্রভু, কোন তিষ্ঠি থাকিব পাৰে?

If thou, LORD, shouldst treasure up transgressions, Lord, who could stand?

4 ৪ কিন্তু তোমাৰ ওচৰত ক্ষমা আছে, যেন মানুহে তোমাক ভয় কৰে।

But with thee is forgiveness, That thou mayst be feared.

5 ৫ মই যিহোৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰিছোঁ, মোৰ প্ৰাণে অপেক্ষা কৰিছে, মই তেওঁৰ বাক্যত আশা কৰিছোঁ।

I trust in the LORD; my soul doth trust, And in his promise do I confide.

6 ৬ প্রহৰীসকলে যেনেকৈ ৰাতিপুৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰে, হয়, তেওঁলোকে যেনেকৈ ৰাতিপুৱালৈ অপেক্ষা কৰি থাকে, যিহোৱাৰ কাৰণে মোৰ প্রাণে তাতোকৈ অধিক বেচি অপেক্ষা কৰি আছে।

My soul waiteth for the LORD More than they who watch for the morning; Yea, more than they who watch for the morning!

7 ৭ হে ইস্ৰায়েল, যিহোৱাৰ ওপৰত আশা ৰাখা, কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ লগত সুস্থিৰ প্রেম আছে; তেওঁৰ মুক্তি দিয়াৰ মহান ক্ষমতা আছে।

O Israel! trust in the LORD! For with the LORD is mercy, And with him is plenteous redemption.

8 ৮ তেৱেঁ ইস্ৰায়েলক মুক্ত কৰিব, সকলো অপৰাধৰ পৰা মুক্ত কৰিব।

He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
