সামসঙ্গীত 12

1 ১ হে যিহোৱা সহায় কৰা; তোমাৰ ভক্তসকল নোহোৱা হ’ল; বিশ্বাসীসকল মনুষ্যৰ মাজৰ পৰা অদৃশ্য হৈ গ’ল।

For the choirmaster. According to Sheminith. A Psalm of David. Help, O LORD, for the godly are no more; the faithful have vanished from among men.

2 ২ মানুহে মানুহৰ ওচৰত মিছা কথা কয়; তেওঁলোকে তৈলমৰ্দনকাৰী ওঁঠ আৰু ছলনা ভৰা দুই মনৰ অন্তৰেৰে কথা কয়।

They lie to one another; they speak with flattering lips and a double heart.

3 ৩ তেওঁলোকৰ তৈলমোদী ওঁঠ আৰু ভীষণ গর্বিত জিভাক যেন যিহোৱাই কাটি পেলায়;

May the LORD cut off all flattering lips and every boastful tongue.

4 ৪ সেই সকলে কয়, “আমাৰ জিভাৰেই আমি জয় কৰিম; আমাৰ ওঁঠ যেতিয়া আমাৰ নিজৰেই, কোন আমাৰ ওপৰত প্ৰভু হ’ব?”

They say, “With our tongues we will prevail. We own our lips—who can be our master?”

5 ৫ যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “দুখীসকলৰ উপদ্ৰৱ আৰু অভাৱীসকলৰ কেঁকনিৰ কাৰণে মই এতিয়া জাগি উঠিম। নিৰাপত্তা কামনা কৰা সকলক মই নিৰাপদে ৰাখিম।”

“For the cause of the oppressed and for the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will bring safety to him who yearns.”

6 ৬ যিহোৱাৰ প্রতিজ্ঞাবোৰ বিশুদ্ধ। সেইবোৰ যেন মাটিত বহোৱা এক অগ্নিশালত শোধন কৰা ৰূপ; সাতবাৰকৈ বিশুদ্ধ কৰা ৰূপ।

The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold.

7 ৭ হে যিহোৱা, তুমিয়েই আমাক নিৰাপদে ৰাখিবা। এই কালৰ লোকসকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা চিৰকাল আমাক ৰক্ষা কৰিবা।

You, O LORD, will keep us; You will forever guard us from this generation.

8 ৮ লোকসকলৰ মাজত যেতিয়া দুষ্টতা আদৰণীয় হয়, দুষ্টবোৰে তেতিয়া বিনা বাধাই চাৰিওফালে ঘূৰি ফুৰে।

The wicked wander freely, and vileness is exalted among men.
