1 ১ তোমালোকে যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰশংসা কৰা! ধন্য সেইজন, যিজনে যিহোৱালৈ ভয় ৰাখে আৰু তেওঁৰ আজ্ঞাবোৰত অতি আনন্দিত হয়।

Alleluia. Blessed is the man that fears the Lord: he will delight greatly in his commandments.

2 ২ তেওঁলোকৰ বংশধৰসকল পৃথিৱীত শক্তিশালী হ’ব; ঈশ্বৰভক্তসকলৰ বংশ আশীৰ্ব্বাদপ্ৰাপ্ত হ’ব।

His seed shall be mighty in the earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 ৩ তেওঁলোকৰ ঘৰত ধন-সম্পদ থাকে; তেওঁলোকৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা চিৰকাললৈকে থাকে।

Glory and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endures for evermore.

4 ৪ ঈশ্বৰভক্তসকলৰ কাৰণে অন্ধকাৰতো দীপ্তি উদয় হয়; তেওঁলোক কৃপাময়, স্নেহশীল আৰু ধাৰ্মিক।

To the upright light has sprung up in darkness: he is pitiful, and merciful, and righteous.

5 ৫ যিসকলে কৃপা কৰে আৰু ঋণ দিয়ে, তেওঁলোকৰ মঙ্গল হয়; তেওঁলোকে সকলো কার্যৰ বিচাৰ ন্যায়ভাৱে সম্পন্ন কৰে।

The good man is he that pities and lends: he will direct his affairs with judgement.

6 ৬ কাৰণ ধার্মিক লোক কেতিয়াও লৰচৰ নহ’ব; ধাৰ্মিক লোকক মানুহে চিৰকাল সোঁৱৰণ কৰিব।

For he shall not be moved for ever; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 ৭ দুঃসংবাদ শুনিলেও তেওঁলোকে ভয় নকৰিব; তেওঁলোকৰ হৃদয় দৃঢ় হৈ থাকে; তেওঁলোকে যিহোৱাত ভাৰসা ৰাখে।

He shall not be afraid of [any] evil report: his heart is ready to trust in the Lord.

8 ৮ তেওঁলোকৰ হৃদয় সুস্থিৰ; তেওঁলোকে ভয় নকৰে; শেষত তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ শত্ৰুবোৰৰ ওপৰত বিজয় দেখিব।

His heart is established, he shall not fear, till he shall see [his desire] upon his enemies.

9 ৯ তেওঁলোকে মুক্তহস্তে দৰিদ্রসকলক দান কৰিলে; তেওঁলোকৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা চিৰকাললৈকে থাকে; তেওঁলোকৰ শিং মৰ্য্যদাৰে উন্নত হয়।

He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for evermore: his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 ১০ দুষ্টলোকে তাকে দেখি ক্রোধিত হ’ব; তেওঁলোকে দাঁত কৰচিব আৰু গলি যাব; দুষ্টবোৰৰ মনৰ কামনা নিস্ফল হ’ব।

The sinner shall see and be angry, he shall gnash his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the sinner shall perish.
