1 ১ যিহোৱাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰা, তেওঁৰ নামত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা; জাতিবোৰৰ মাজত তেওঁৰ কাৰ্যবোৰ জনোৱা।

Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations.

2 ২ তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে গীত গোৱা, তেওঁৰ উদ্দেশ্যে প্ৰশংসাৰ গান কৰা; তেওঁৰ আচৰিত কাৰ্যবোৰৰ বিষয়ে কোৱা।

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders.

3 ৩ তোমালোকে তেওঁৰ পবিত্ৰ নামৰ গৌৰৱ কৰা; যিহোৱাক বিচৰাসকলৰ হৃদয়ে আনন্দ কৰক।

Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

4 ৪ তোমালোকে যিহোৱা আৰু তেওঁৰ শক্তি বিচাৰা; নিতৌ তেওঁৰ সাক্ষাৎ হ’বলৈ বিচাৰা।

Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.

5 ৫ তেওঁ কৰা আচৰিত কাৰ্যবোৰ সোঁৱৰণ কৰা; তেওঁৰ অদ্ভুত কার্য আৰু তেওঁৰ মুখে কৰা বিচাৰবোৰ সোঁৱৰণ কৰা।

Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced,

6 ৬ তোমালোক তেওঁৰ দাস অব্ৰাহামৰ বংশধৰ, তেওঁৰ মনোনীত যাকোবৰ সন্তান।

O offspring of His servant Abraham, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

7 ৭ তেৱেঁই আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা; তেওঁৰ শাসন-প্ৰণালী সমুদায় পৃথিৱীত বিদ্যমান।

He is the LORD our God; His judgments carry throughout the earth.

8 ৮ তেওঁ অনন্তকাললৈকে নিজ নিয়ম সোঁৱৰণ কৰে, আৰু সেই বাক্যৰ আদেশ তেওঁ হাজাৰ হাজাৰ পুৰুষলৈকে দিলে।

He remembers His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations—

9 ৯ সেই নিয়ম তেওঁ অব্ৰাহামৰে সৈতে স্থাপন কৰিছিল আৰু ইচহাকৰ আগত প্রতিজ্ঞা কৰিছিল।

the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac.

10 ১০ তেওঁ তাক যাকোবৰ কাৰণে এক বিধি ৰূপে, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ কাৰণে এটি অনন্তকলীয়া নিয়ম ৰূপে স্থিৰ কৰিলে।

He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

11 ১১ তেওঁ ক’লে, “মই তোমাক কনান দেশখন দিম; সেয়াই হ’ব তোমাৰ আধিপত্য।

“I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”

12 ১২ সেই কালত তেওঁলোকৰ সংখ্যা অধিক নাছিল, তেওঁলোক অতি তাকৰ আছিল আৰু তাত তেওঁলোক প্ৰবাসী আছিল;

When they were few in number, few indeed, and strangers in the land,

13 ১৩ তেওঁলোকে যেতিয়া তাত এটা জাতিৰ পৰা আন জাতিৰ ওচৰলৈ, এক ৰাজ্যৰ পৰা আন লোক সমূহৰ মাজত ভ্ৰমি ফুৰিছিল,

they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.

14 ১৪ তেতিয়া তেওঁ কোনো মনুষ্যকে তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত উপদ্রৱ কৰিবলৈ নিদিলে; বৰং তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে তেওঁ ৰজাসকলক ধমক দি কৈছিল,

He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf:

15 ১৫ “তোমালোকে মোৰ অভিষিক্ত ব্যক্তিসকলক স্পর্শ নকৰিবা; মোৰ ভাববাদীসকলৰো কোনো অপকাৰ নকৰিবা।”

“Do not touch My anointed ones! Do no harm to My prophets!”

16 ১৬ তেওঁ সেই দেশলৈ দুৰ্ভিক্ষ মাতি আনিলে, তেওঁ সম্পূর্ণৰূপে শস্যৰ ভঁৰালবোৰ ধ্বংস কৰি পেলালে।

He called down famine on the land and cut off all their supplies of food.

17 ১৭ তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ আগেয়ে এজন মানুহ পঠালে- যিজনৰ নাম যোচেফ আছিল; তেওঁক দাসৰূপে বেচা হ’ল।

He sent a man before them— Joseph, sold as a slave.

18 ১৮ লোকসকলে তেওঁৰ ভৰিত বেৰীৰ শিকলিৰে দুখ দিলে; লোহাৰ শিকলিৰে তেওঁৰ ডিঙি বন্ধা হ’ল।

They bruised his feet with shackles and placed his neck in irons,

19 ১৯ যেতিয়ালৈকে তেওঁ কোৱা বাক্য সিদ্ধ নহয়, তেতিয়ালৈকে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যই তেওঁক পৰীক্ষা কৰি আছিল।

until his prediction came true and the word of the LORD proved him right.

20 ২০ ৰজাই লোক পঠাই তেওঁক মুকলি কৰি দিলে, লোকসকলৰ শাসনকর্তাই তেওঁক মুক্ত কৰিলে।

The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.

21 ২১ তেওঁ তেওঁক নিজৰ ৰাজগৃহৰ প্ৰভু পাতিলে, সকলো সম্পত্তিৰ কর্তা কৰিলে।

He made him master of his household, ruler over all his substance,

22 ২২ যাতে তেওঁ তেওঁৰ ৰাজকর্মচাৰীসকলক ইচ্ছা অনুসাৰে অধীনত ৰাখিব পাৰে, আৰু তেওঁৰ বৃদ্ধসকলক জ্ঞানৰ পৰামর্শ দিব পাৰে।

to instruct his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom.

23 ২৩ তাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েল মিচৰ দেশলৈ আহিল, যাকোবে হাম বংশীয়সকলৰ দেশত প্ৰবাস কৰিলে।

Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.

24 ২৪ ঈশ্বৰে নিজৰ লোকসকলৰ বংশ অতিশয় বৃদ্ধি কৰিলে, শত্ৰুবোৰতকৈয়ো তেওঁলোকক শক্তিশালী কৰিলে।

And the LORD made His people very fruitful, more numerous than their foes,

25 ২৫ তেওঁ মিচৰীয়সকলৰ অন্তৰক এনে পৰিবর্তন আনি দিলে যে, তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ লোকসকলক ঘৃণা কৰিলে; তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰৰ প্রতি ধূর্ত ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিলে।

whose hearts He turned to hate His people, to conspire against His servants.

26 ২৬ তেওঁ নিজ দাস মোচিক আৰু তেওঁৰ মনোনীত হাৰোণক পঠালে;

He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.

27 ২৭ তেওঁলোকে তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত নানা চিন আৰু হাম দেশত অদ্ভুত লক্ষণবোৰ দেখুৱালে;

They performed His miraculous signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 ২৮ তেওঁ অন্ধকাৰ পঠালে, তাতে সেই দেশ আন্ধাৰ হ’ল; তেওঁৰ বাক্যৰ বিৰুদ্ধে তেওঁলোকে বিৰুদ্ধাচৰণ নকৰিলে।

He sent darkness, and it became dark— yet they defied His words.

29 ২৯ তেওঁলোকৰ জল সমূহক তেওঁ তেজলৈ পৰিণত কৰিলে; তাতে তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো মাছ মৰিল।

He turned their waters to blood and caused their fish to die.

30 ৩০ তেওঁলোকৰ দেশ বেঙেৰে ভৰি পৰিল; এনে কি, তেওঁলোকৰ ৰজাসকলৰ ৰাজপ্রাসাদো বেঙেৰে ভৰি পৰিল।

Their land teemed with frogs, even in their royal chambers.

31 ৩১ তেওঁৰ কথাতেই তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো অঞ্চলত জাকে জাকে ডাঁহ আৰু ওকণী আহিল।

He spoke, and insects swarmed— gnats throughout their country.

32 ৩২ তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক বৰষুণৰ পৰিবর্তে শিলাবৃষ্টি দিলে; গোটেই দেশ বিজুলী আৰু বজ্ৰপাতৰ অগ্নি বৰষালে।

He gave them hail for rain, with lightning throughout their land.

33 ৩৩ তেওঁলোকৰ দ্ৰাক্ষালতা আৰু ডিমৰু গছবোৰত তেওঁ আঘাত কৰিলে, আৰু দেশৰ গছবোৰ ভাঙি পেলালে।

He struck their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.

34 ৩৪ তেওঁৰ কথাতেই কাকতি ফৰিং আহিল, অসংখ্য সৰু ফৰিঙো আহিল।

He spoke, and the locusts came— young locusts without number.

35 ৩৫ সেইবোৰে তেওঁলোকৰ দেশৰ সকলো শাক-পাচলি আৰু ভূমিৰ সকলো শস্য খাই পেলালে।

They devoured every plant in their land and consumed the produce of their soil.

36 ৩৬ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো শক্তিৰ প্রথম ফল অর্থাৎ দেশৰ জ্যেষ্ঠ পুত্র সংহাৰ কৰিলে।

Then He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor.

37 ৩৭ পাছত তেওঁ লোকসকলক ৰূপ আৰু সোণে সৈতে উলিয়াই আনিলে; তেওঁৰ ফৈদ সমূহৰ মাজত এজনো দুৰ্ব্বল হোৱা নাছিল।

He brought Israel out with silver and gold, and none among His tribes stumbled.

38 ৩৮ তেওঁলোক গুছি যোৱাত মিচৰীয়সকলে আনন্দ কৰিলে, কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে ইস্রায়েলীয়াসকলক ভীষণ ভয় কৰিছিল।

Egypt was glad when they departed, for the dread of Israel had fallen on them.

39 ৩৯ তেওঁ চন্দ্ৰতাপৰ কাৰণে মেঘ বিস্তাৰ কৰিলে; ৰাতি পোহৰ দিবৰ কাৰণে অগ্নি দিলে।

He spread a cloud as a covering and a fire to light up the night.

40 ৪০ তেওঁলোকে আহাৰ বিচাৰিছিলে, তাতে তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক বটা চৰাই আনি দিলে; আৰু স্বর্গীয় আহাৰেৰে তেওঁলোকক তৃপ্ত কৰিলে।

They asked, and He brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 ৪১ তেওঁ শিল খুলি দিলে, তাতে জল ওলাই আহিল; সেয়ে নদীৰ দৰে মৰুভূমিৰ মাজেদি বৈ গ’ল।

He opened a rock, and water gushed out; it flowed like a river in the desert.

42 ৪২ তেওঁ তেওঁৰ পবিত্ৰ প্রতিজ্ঞা সোঁৱৰণ কৰিলে; তেওঁৰ দাস অব্ৰাহামকো সোঁৱৰণ কৰিলে।

For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.

43 ৪৩ এইদৰে তেওঁ নিজৰ লোক সমূহক আনন্দেৰে সৈতে, তেওঁৰ মনোনীত লোকসকলক গীত-মাতেৰে সৈতে উলিয়াই আনিলে।

He brought forth His people with rejoicing, His chosen with shouts of joy.

44 ৪৪ তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক অন্যান্য জাতিবোৰৰ দেশবোৰ দিলে; সেই সকলো জাতিৰ পৰিশ্রমৰ ফল তেওঁৰ লোকসকলে অধিকাৰ কৰিলে,

He gave them the lands of the nations, that they might inherit the fruit of others’ labor,

45 ৪৫ যেন তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ বিধিবোৰ পালন কৰে আৰু তেওঁৰ ব্যৱস্থাবোৰ মানি চলে। তোমালোকে যিহোৱাৰ প্রশংসা কৰা।

that they might keep His statutes and obey His laws. Hallelujah!
