1 ১ হে যিহোৱা, মোৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা শুনা; মোৰ কাতৰোক্তি তোমাৰ আগত উপস্থিত হওক।

“A prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out before the Lord his complaint.” O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come unto thee.

2 ২ সঙ্কটৰ কালত তোমাৰ মুখ মোৰ পৰা লুকুৱাই নাৰাখিবা; মোলৈ কাণ পাতা; মই প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা কালত শীঘ্ৰে মোক উত্তৰ দিয়া।

Hide not thy face from me on the day when I am distressed; incline unto me thy ear; on the day when I call, answer me speedily.

3 ৩ কিয়নো ধুঁৱাৰ নিচিনাকৈ মোৰ দিনবোৰ বিলীন হৈ গৈছে, মোৰ অস্থিবোৰ যেন অগ্নিশালৰ জুইত জ্বলিছে।

For my days vanish in smoke, and my bones are burning like a hearth.

4 ৪ ৰ’দৰ তাপত লেৰেলি যোৱা ঘাঁহৰ নিচিনাকৈ মোৰ হৃদয় শুকাই গৈছে; এনে কি মই ভোজন কৰিবলৈও পাহৰি যাওঁ।

Struck [by heat] like the herb and dried up is my heart; for I forget to eat my bread.

5 ৫ মই বৰকৈ কেঁকাই থকাত মোৰ অস্থিবোৰ শৰীৰৰ ছালত লাগি গৈছে।

Because of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my flesh.

6 ৬ মই মৰুভূমিত বাস কৰা এটি ফেঁচাৰ নিচিনা হ’লো, ধ্বংসস্তূপত থকা এটা অকলশৰীয়া সৰু ফেঁচাৰ দৰে হ’লো।

I am like the pelican of the wilderness: I am become like the owl amid ruins.

7 ৭ মই টোপনি যাব নোৱাৰো; ঘৰৰ চালত থকা অকলশৰীয়া চৰাইজনীৰ সদৃশ হ’লো।

I watch, and I am become like a [night-]bird sitting alone upon the housetop.

8 ৮ মোৰ শত্ৰুবোৰে দিনে-ৰাতিয়ে মোক বিদ্রূপ কৰে; মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে খঙত উন্মত্ত লোকসকলে মোৰ নাম শাও ৰূপে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰে।

All the day my enemies reproach me: they that mock me swear by me.

9 ৯ বাস্তৱিক মই আহাৰ স্বৰূপে ভস্ম খাওঁ; পেয় দ্রব্যৰে সৈতে মোৰ চকুলো মিহলাও;

For ashes do I eat like bread, and my drink I mingle with weeping;

10 ১০ ইয়াৰ কাৰণ হৈছে তোমাৰ ৰোষ আৰু তোমাৰ ক্রোধ; কিয়নো তুমি মোক ওপৰলৈ তুলি দলিয়াই পেলাই দিলা।

Because of thy indignation and thy wrath; for thou hadst lifted me up, and hast cast me down.

11 ১১ মোৰ দিনবোৰ সন্ধিয়া পৰৰ ছাঁৰ নিচিনা হৈছে; মই তৃণৰ দৰে শুকাই গৈছোঁ।

My days are like a shadow that declineth; and like the herb I wither.

12 ১২ কিন্তু, হে যিহোৱা, তুমি হ’লে তোমাৰ সিংহাসনত চিৰকাললৈকে থাকা; তোমাৰ নামৰ যশস্যা পুৰুষে পুৰুষে স্থায়ী।

But thou, O Lord, wilt sit enthroned for ever; and thy memorial is unto all generations.

13 ১৩ তুমি উঠিবা, চিয়োনলৈ কৃপা কৰিবা; এতিয়াই তাৰ প্রতি দয়া কৰাৰ সময় হৈছে, কাৰণ নিৰূপিত সময় উপস্থিত হ’ল।

Thou wilt indeed arise; thou wilt have mercy upon Zion; for it is time to favor her, for the appointed time is coming.

14 ১৪ তোমাৰ দাসবোৰৰ ওচৰত তাৰ শিলবোৰ প্রিয়, তাৰ ধুলিকণাৰ ওপৰতো তেওঁলোকৰ মমতা আছে।

For thy servants hold dear her stones, and her very dust they cherish.

15 ১৫ যিহোৱাৰ নামক সকলো জাতিয়ে ভয় কৰিব, পৃথিৱীৰ সমুদায় ৰজা তোমাৰ প্ৰতাপত ভীত হ’ব।

Then shall nations fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory:

16 ১৬ কিয়নো যিহোৱাই পুনৰ চিয়োনক নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিব; তেওঁ নিজৰ মহিমাৰে দৰ্শন দিব।

When the Lord shalt have built up Zion, he appeareth in his glory;

17 ১৭ সেই সময়ত তেওঁ দীনহীনবোৰৰ প্রার্থনাৰ উত্তৰ দিব, তেওঁলোকৰ প্রার্থনাক তেওঁ অগ্রাহ্য নকৰিব।

[When] he hath regarded the prayer of the forsaken, and doth not despise their prayer.

18 ১৮ ভাৱী বংশধৰসকলৰ কাৰণে এই সকলো কথা লিখি থোৱা হ’ব, যাতে এতিয়া জন্ম নোহোৱা সন্তান সকলেও যিহোৱাৰ প্রশংসা কৰিব পাৰে।

This shall be written down for the latest generation; and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

19 ১৯ কিয়নো তেওঁৰ পবিত্র উচ্চ স্থানৰ পৰা তেওঁ তললৈ দৃষ্টি কৰিলে; যিহোৱাই স্বর্গৰ পৰা পৃথিৱীলৈ দৃষ্টি কৰিলে,

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord hath cast from heaven his view to the earth:

20 ২০ যাতে বন্দীসকলৰ কেঁকনি শুনিব পাৰে, মৃত্যুদণ্ডৰে অভিযুক্ত সকলক মুক্ত কৰিব পাৰে।

To hear the sighing of the prisoner; to loosen those that are doomed to death:

21 ২১ চিয়োনত যিহোৱাৰ নাম প্রচাৰিত হ’ব, যিৰূচালেমত তেওঁৰ প্ৰশংসা-স্তুতি হ’ব,

That men may proclaim in Zion the name of the Lord, and his praise in Jerusalem;

22 ২২ যেতিয়া যিহোৱাৰ সেৱা কৰিবৰ কাৰণে সকলো জাতি আৰু ৰাজ্যবোৰ একত্রিত হ’ব।

When people are gathered together, and kingdoms, to serve the Lord.—

23 ২৩ জীৱন পথৰ মাজতেই যিহোৱাই মোৰ শক্তি কমাই দিলে; মোৰ আয়ুস চুটি কৰি দিলে।

He hath weakened on the way my strength; he hath shortened my days.

24 ২৪ সেয়ে মই কৈছো, “হে মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ, জীৱনৰ মাজভাগতে তুমি মোক তুলি নিনিবা; তোমাৰ বছৰবোৰতো সর্বপুৰুষলৈকে স্থায়ী।”

I will say, O my God! take me not away in the midst of my days: throughout all generations are thy years.

25 ২৫ অনেক কালৰ আগতে তুমি এই বিশ্বৰ ভিত্তিমূল স্থাপন কৰিলা; আকাশমণ্ডল তোমাৰ হাতৰ কাৰ্য।

In olden times didst thou lay the foundations of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

26 ২৬ সেইবোৰ ধ্বংস হৈ যাব, কিন্তু তুমি হ’লে চিৰকাল থাকিবা; কাপোৰৰ দৰে সেই সকলো জীৰ্ণ হৈ যাব; তুমি সেইবোৰক বস্ত্ৰৰ নিচিনাকৈ সলনি কৰিবা; তাতে সেইবোৰ আৰু নাথাকিব।

These will indeed perish, but thou wilt ever exist: yea, all of them will wear out like a garment; as a vesture wilt thou change them, and they will be changed;

27 ২৭ কিন্তু তুমি হ’লে সদায় একে, তোমাৰ বছৰৰ কেতিয়াও শেষ নহ’ব।

But thou art ever the same, and thy years will have no end.

28 ২৮ তোমাৰ দাসবোৰৰ সন্তান সকল জীয়াই থাকিব; তেওঁলোকৰ বংশধৰসকল তোমাৰ উপস্থিতিত থিৰে থাকিব।

The children of thy servants will dwell [securely], and their seed will be firmly established before thee.
