1 ১ বিলিয়মে বালাকক ক’লে, “তুমি এই ঠাইত মোৰ কাৰণে সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰোঁৱা আৰু এই ঠাইতে মোৰ বাবে সাতোটা ভতৰা আৰু সাতোটা মতা মেৰ আয়োজন কৰা।”
And Balaam says to Balak, “Build seven altars for me in this [place], and prepare seven bullocks and seven rams for me in this [place].”
2 ২ বালাকে বিলিয়মৰ কথাৰ দৰেই কৰিলে। তেতিয়া বালাক আৰু বিলিয়মে প্রত্যেকটা যজ্ঞবেদীত এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।
And Balak does as Balaam has spoken, and Balak—Balaam also—offers a bullock and a ram on the altar,
3 ৩ তেতিয়া বিলিয়মে বালাকক ক’লে, “তুমি তোমাৰ হোম বলিৰ ওচৰত থিয় হোৱা, মই যাওঁ। কিজানি যিহোৱাই মোৰে সৈতে সাক্ষাৎ কৰিব। সেয়ে হলে তেওঁ মোক যিহকে দেখুৱাই, তাকেই মই তোমাক ক’ম।” পাছে তেওঁ গছ-গছনি নথকা এনে এখন ওখ ঠাইলৈ গ’ল।
and Balaam says to Balak, “Station yourself by your burnt-offering and I go on, it may be YHWH comes to meet me, and the thing which He shows me I have declared to you”; and he goes [to] a high place.
4 ৪ তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰে বিলিয়মেৰে সৈতে সাক্ষাৎ কৰিলত, বিলিয়মে তেওঁ ক’লে, “মই সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী যুগুত কৰিলোঁ আৰু প্ৰত্যেকটি যজ্ঞবেদীত এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলোঁ।”
And God comes to Balaam, and he says to Him, “I have arranged the seven altars, and I offer a bullock and a ram on the altar”;
5 ৫ তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই বিলিয়মৰ মুখত এক বাক্য দি তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি বালাকৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি গৈ তেওঁক এই কথা কোৱা।”
and YHWH puts a word in the mouth of Balaam and says, “Return to Balak, and thus you speak.”
6 ৬ তেতিয়া বিলিয়ম বালাকৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি গ’ল, চোৱা, সেই সময়ত মোৱাবৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলেৰে সৈতে বালাক নিজৰ হোম বলিৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ আছিল।
And he returns to him, and behold, he is standing by his burnt-offering, he and all the princes of Moab.
7 ৭ তেতিয়া বিলিয়মে নিজৰ ভৱিষ্যৎ বাণী পদ্যৰূপে গাই ক’লে, “বালাকে অৰামৰ পৰা মোক অনালে, মোৱাবৰ ৰজাই পূবফালৰ পৰ্ব্বতৰ পৰা মোক অনালে। ‘আহাঁ, মোৰ কাৰণে যাকোবক শাও দিয়া,’ তেওঁ ক’লে। আহাঁ, ইস্ৰায়েলক ধিক্কাৰ দিয়া।’
And he takes up his allegory and says: “Balak king of Moab leads me from Aram; From mountains of the east. Come—curse Jacob for me, And come—be indignant [with] Israel.
8 ৮ কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰে শাও নিদিয়া লোকক মই কেনেকৈ শাও দিম? আৰু যিহোৱাই ধিক্কাৰ নিদিয়া লোকক মই কেনেকৈ ধিক্কাৰ দিম?
How do I pierce [when] God has not pierced? And how am I indignant [when] YHWH has not been indignant?
9 ৯ কিয়নো মই শিলবোৰৰ টিঙৰ পৰা সেইজনক দেখা পাইছোঁ; আৰু পৰ্ব্বতৰ পৰা সেইজনক দেখিছোঁ। চোৱা, তেওঁলোক অকলে বাস কৰা লোক জাতি সমূহৰ মাজত তেওঁলোক গণিত নহয়।
For from the top of rocks I see him, And from heights I behold him; Behold a people! He dwells alone, And does not reckon himself among nations.
10 ১০ যাকোবৰ ধূলি কোনে লেখ কৰিব পাৰে? বা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ চাৰি ভাগৰ এভাগকে কোনে গণিব পাৰে? ধাৰ্মিকৰ মৃত্যুৰ নিচিনা মোৰ মৃত্যু হওঁক, আৰু তেওঁৰ শেষ গতিৰ নিচিনা মোৰ শেষগতি হওঁক।”
Who has counted the dust of Jacob, And the number of the fourth of Israel? Let me die the death of upright ones, And let my last end be like his!”
11 ১১ তেতিয়া বালাকে বিলিয়মক ক’লে, “আপুনি মোলৈ এইয়া কি কৰিলে? মোৰ শত্ৰুবোৰক শাও দিবলৈ মই আপোনাক অনিলোঁ; আপুনি সিহঁতক সকলো ভাৱে আশীৰ্ব্বাদহে কৰিলে।”
And Balak says to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I have taken you to pierce my enemies, and behold, you have certainly blessed”;
and he answers and says, “That which YHWH puts in my mouth—do I not take heed to speak it?”
13 ১৩ পাছত বালাকে তেওঁক ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, আপুনি যি ঠাইৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকক দেখিবলৈ পাব, এনেকুৱা আন ঠাইলৈ মোৰ লগত আহক। আপুনি তেওঁলোকৰ সকলোকে দেখা পোৱা নাই, কেৱল এফালহে দেখিবলৈ পাইছে, সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা মোৰ কাৰণে তেওঁলোকক শাও দিব।”
And Balak says to him, “Come! Come to another place with me, from where you see it—you see only its extremity, and you do not see all of it, and pierce it for me there”;
14 ১৪ তেতিয়া বালাকে তেওঁক চোফীম পথাৰৰ মাজলৈ পিচগাৰ টিঙলৈ লৈ গ’ল; সেই ঠাইতে তেওঁ সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিলে আৰু প্ৰত্যেক যজ্ঞ-বেদীত এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।
and he takes him [to] the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and builds seven altars, and offers a bullock and a ram on the altar.
15 ১৫ পাছত তেওঁ বালাকক ক’লে, “তুমি এই ঠাইতে তোমাৰ হোম-বলিৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ থাকা; মই হ’লে, সৌ তাত ঈশ্বৰৰ সাক্ষাৎ কৰোঁগৈ।”
And he says to Balak, “Station yourself here by your burnt-offering, and I meet [Him] there”;
16 ১৬ তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই বিলিয়মেৰে সৈতে সাক্ষাৎ কৰি, তেওঁৰ মুখত এক বাক্য দি তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি বালাকৰ ওচৰলৈ উলটি গৈ তেওঁক এই কথা কোৱা।”
and YHWH comes to Balaam, and sets a word in his mouth, and says, “Return to Balak, and thus you speak.”
17 ১৭ বিলিয়ম তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ ঘূৰি আহিল; সেই সময়ত মোৱাবৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলেৰে সৈতে বালাক নিজৰ হোম-বলিৰ গুৰিত থিয় হৈ আছিল। তেতিয়া বালাকে তেওঁক সুধিলে, যিহোৱাই কি ক’লে?
And he comes to him, and behold, he is standing by his burnt-offering, and the princes of Moab [are] with him, and Balak says to him: “What has YHWH spoken?”
18 ১৮ বিলিয়মে নিজৰ ভৱিষ্যৎ বাণী পদ্যৰূপে গাই ক’লে, তেওঁ ক’লে, “হে বালাক, উঠি শুনা, হে চিপ্পোৰৰ পুত্ৰ, মোৰ কথালৈ কাণ কৰা।
And he takes up his allegory and says: “Rise, Balak, and hear; Give ear to me, son of Zippor!
19 ১৯ ঈশ্বৰ মনুষ্য নহয়, যে তেওঁ মিছা কথা ক’ব, তেওঁ মানুহৰ সন্তানো নহয়, যে তেওঁ মন ঘূৰাব। তেওঁ কৈ জানো সিদ্ধ নকৰিব? তেওঁ বাক্য কৈ জানো সাম্ফল নকৰিব?
God [is] not a man—and lies, And a son of man—and relents! Has He said—and He does not do [it]? And spoken—and He does not confirm it?
Behold, I have received [only] to bless; Indeed, He blesses, and I cannot reverse it.
21 ২১ তেওঁ যাকোবত অধৰ্ম দেখা নাই, বা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত দুষ্টতা দেখা নাই; নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা তেওঁৰ লগত থাকে, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত ৰজাৰ জয়ধ্বনি আছে।
He has not beheld iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen perverseness in Israel; His God YHWH [is] with him, And a shout of a king [is] in him.
God is bringing them out from Egypt, As the swiftness of a wild ox for him;
23 ২৩ নিশ্চয়ে যাকোবৰ মাজত লক্ষণ চোৱা দস্তুৰ নাই, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত মঙ্গল চোৱা কাৰ্য নাই। এতিয়া যাকোব আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিষয়ে কোৱা যাব, ‘চোৱা ঈশ্বৰে কেনে কাৰ্য কৰিলে!’
For no enchantment [is] against Jacob, Nor divination against Israel; At the time it is said of Jacob and Israel, O what God has worked!
24 ২৪ চোৱা, সেই লোক সমূহ সিংহীৰ দৰে উঠিছে, সিংহৰ দৰে নিজৰ গা দাঙিছে; তেওঁ ধৰা পশু নাখায়মানে নুশুব, আৰু বধ কৰা লোকৰ তেজ পান নকৰেমানে শয়ন নকৰিব।”
Behold, the people rises as a lioness, And he lifts himself up as a lion; He does not lie down until he eats prey, And drinks blood of pierced ones.”
And Balak says to Balaam, “Neither pierce it at all, nor bless it at all”;
26 ২৬ তেতিয়া বিলিয়মে উত্তৰ দি বালাকক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই মোক যি যি ক’ব, মই তাকেই কৰিম, এইবুলি জানো মই তোমাক কোৱা নাছিলো?”
and Balaam answers and says to Balak, “Have I not spoken to you, saying, All that YHWH speaks—I do it?”
27 ২৭ তথাপি বালাকে বিলিয়মক ক’লে, “বিনয় কৰি কওঁ, আহক, মই আপোনাক আন ঠাইলৈ লৈ যাওঁ। সেই ঠাইতে মোৰ কাৰণে আপুনি তেওঁলোকক শাও দিবলৈ কিজানি ঈশ্বৰ সন্তুষ্ট হ’ব পাৰে।”
And Balak says to Balaam, “Please come, I take you to another place; it may be it is right in the eyes of God to pierce it for me from there.”
And Balak takes Balaam to the top of Peor, which is looking on the front of the wilderness,
29 ২৯ বিলিয়মে বালাকক ক’লে, “এই ঠাইত মোৰ বাবে সাতোটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰোঁৱা আৰু ইয়াতো মোৰ বাবে সাতোটা ভতৰা আৰু সাতোটা মতা মেৰ আয়োজন কৰা।”
and Balaam says to Balak, “Build seven altars for me in this [place], and prepare seven bullocks and seven rams for me in this [place]”;
30 ৩০ তেতিয়া বালাকে বিলিয়মৰ বাক্য অনুসাৰে কাৰ্য কৰি, প্ৰত্যেক যজ্ঞবেদীতে এটা এটা ভতৰা আৰু এটা এটা মতা মেৰ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।
and Balak does as Balaam said, and he offers a bullock and a ram on an altar.
