Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the passover.
2 ২ তেতিয়া প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু বিধানৰ অধ্যাপক সকলে কেনেকৈ যীচুক বধ কৰিব পাৰে, তাৰে উপায় বিচাৰিলে; কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে লোক সকলক ভয় কৰিছিল।
And the chief priests and scribes were consulting how they might put Him to death; for they were afraid of the people.
Then entred Satan into Judas who was surnamed Iscariot, one of the twelve.
4 ৪ তাতে তেওঁ গৈ, কেনেকৈ যীচুক তেওঁলোকৰ হাতত শোধাই দিব পাৰে, সেই বিষয়ে প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু সেনাপতি সকলৰ সৈতে কথা-বাৰ্ত্তা হ’ল।
And he went and conferred with the chief priests and the captains, how he might betray Him unto them.
And they were glad and agreed to give him money:
and he accepted the terms, and sought an opportunity to betray Him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
The day of unleavened bread being come, on which the paschal-lamb was to be slain,
8 ৮ যীচুৱে পিতৰ আৰু যোহনক পঠিয়াই দি ক’লে, “তোমালোক যোৱা, আমি ভোজন কৰিবলৈ নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ ভোজ যুগুত কৰাগৈ।”
Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the passover for us, that we may eat of it.
And they said unto Him, Where wouldst thou have us prepare it?
10 ১০ তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “চোৱা, তোমালোকে নগৰৰ ভিতৰত সোমালেই, পানী একলহ লৈ অহা এজন মানুহে তোমালোকক লগ ধৰিব৷ তেওঁ যি ঘৰত সোমায়, তোমালোকে তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে গৈ সেই ঘৰত সোমাবা৷
And He said unto them, Behold, when ye are come into the city, there shall meet you a man, carrying a pitcher of water, follow him into the house where he entreth:
11 ১১ তেতিয়া ঘৰৰ গৰাকীক ক’বা, ‘গুৰুৱে তোমাক কবলৈ কৈছে, বোলে মই যি ঠাইত মোৰ শিষ্য সকলৰ সৈতে নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ ভোজ খাম, সেই আলহী-কোঠালি ক’ত আছে’?
and say to the master of the house, Our Master inquireth by us, Where is the room, in which I may eat the passover with my disciples?
12 ১২ তাতে সেই মানুহে সজোৱা ওপৰ-মহলৰ এটা ডাঙৰ কোঁঠালি তোমালোকক দেখুৱাই দিব৷ তাতে তোমালোকে যুগুত কৰিবা।”
And he will shew you a large upper room set out; there make it ready.
13 ১৩ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোক গ’ল আৰু তেওঁ কোৱাৰ দৰে তাত সকলোবোৰ পালে৷ পাছত তেওঁলোকে তাতে নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ ভোজ যুগুত কৰিলে।
And they went and found as He had told them; and prepared the passover.
And when the hour was come, He sat down and the twelve apostles with Him.
15 ১৫ তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “মোৰ দুখভোগৰ আগেয়ে তোমালোকে সৈতে এই নিস্তাৰ-পৰ্বৰ ভোজ খাবলৈ মই বৰ ইচ্ছা কৰিলোঁ।
And He said unto them, I have earnestly desired to eat of this passover with you before I suffer:
for I say unto you, that I will not eat of it any more, till it be accomplished in the kingdom of God.
And taking the cup He gave thanks and said, Take this and distribute it among yourselves.
18 ১৮ কিয়নো মই তোমালোকক কওঁ, ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্য আহি নোপোৱালৈকে মই এতিয়াৰ পৰা আৰু দ্ৰাক্ষাগুটিৰ ৰস পান নকৰোঁ।”
For I tell you, that I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine, till the kingdom of God shall come.
19 ১৯ তাৰ পাছত পিঠা লৈ তেওঁ স্তুতি কৰিলে আৰু ভাঙি তেওঁলোকক দি ক’লে, “এয়ে তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে দান কৰা মোৰ শৰীৰ; মোক সুৱঁৰিবলৈ ইয়াকে কৰিবা।”
And He took bread, and gave thanks and brake it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me:
20 ২০ পিঠা ভোজন কৰাৰ পাছত, সেইদৰে পান-পাত্ৰকো লৈ ক’লে, “তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে উলিওৱা মোৰ তেজৰ দ্বাৰাই হোৱা যি নতুন নিয়ম, সেয়ে এই৷
as also the cup after supper, saying, This cup represents the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.
And yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is at table with me:
22 ২২ কিয়নো যেনেকৈ নিৰূপণ কৰা হৈছিল, তেনেকৈ মানুহৰ পুত্ৰৰ গতি হ’ব হয়, কিন্তু যি মানুহৰ দ্বাৰাই তেওঁক শোধাই দিয়া হব, তেওঁ সন্তাপৰ পাত্ৰ!”
and the Son of man is going indeed as was determined; but wo to that man by whom He is betrayed.
And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do it.
And there was also a dispute among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest:
25 ২৫ কিন্তু তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “অনা-ইহুদী ৰজা সকলে তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ব কৰে আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত ক্ষমতা পোৱা অধিকাৰী সকলক ‘উপকাৰক’ বুলি কোৱা হয়।
but He said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority are called benefactors.
26 ২৬ কিন্তু তোমালোক তেনেকুৱা নহবা৷ তোমালোকৰ মাজত যি জন শ্ৰেষ্ঠ, তেওঁ সৰু এজনৰ নিচিনা হওক; আৰু যি জন প্ৰধান, তেওঁ পৰিচাৰকৰ নিচিনা হওক।
But ye shall not do so: but let the greatest among you be as the younger; and he that presides as he that serveth.
27 ২৭ কিয়নো বিবেচনা কৰাচোন, কোন শ্ৰেষ্ঠ? ভোজনত বহা জন নে, পৰিচাৰক জন? ভোজনত বহা জন নহয় নে? কিন্তু মই পৰিচাৰকৰ নিচিনাকৈ তোমালোকৰ মাজত আছোঁ৷
For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at table? but I am among you as one that serveth.
Ye have continued with me in my temptations;
and I appoint you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me:
30 ৩০ মোৰ মেজত যেন ভোজন-পান কৰিবা, এই কাৰণে ময়ো তোমালোকৰ বাবে ৰাজ্য নিয়োজন কৰি থৈছোঁ৷ তাতে তোমালোকে সিংহাসনত বহি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বাৰ ফৈদৰ সোধ-বিচাৰ কৰিবা।
that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you my disciples, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 ৩২ কিন্তু তোমাৰ বিশ্বাস যেন লোপ নাপায়, এই কাৰণে, মই তোমাৰ অৰ্থে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলোঁ; আৰুতুমি মন পালটোৱাৰ পাছত, তোমাৰ ভাইসকলকো বিশ্বাসত স্থিৰ হৈ থাকিবলৈ উদগাবা।”
but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith may not fail; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 ৩৩ পাছত পিতৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, আপোনাৰ সৈতে বন্দীশাল আৰু মৰণলৈকো যাবৰ বাবে মই যুগুত হৈ আছোঁ।”
And he said unto Him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee both to prison and to death.
34 ৩৪ তেতিয়া যীচুৱে ক’লে, “হে পিতৰ, মই তোমাক কওঁ, তুমি যে মোক জানা, ইয়াকে তিনি বাৰ অস্বীকাৰ নকৰালৈকে, আজি কুকুৰাই ডাক নিদিব।”
But He replied, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before thou hast thrice denied that thou knowest me.
35 ৩৫ পাছত যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “মই যেতিয়া বিনা ধন, পাদুকা, মোনা আৰু জোলোঙাৰে, তোমালোকক পঠিয়াইছিলো, তেতিয়া তোমালোকৰ কোনো বস্তুৰ অভাৱ হৈছিল নে?” তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “কোনো অভাৱ হোৱা নাছিল।”
And He said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, or bag, or shoes, did ye want any thing? and they said, Nothing.
36 ৩৬ তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “কিন্তু এতিয়া যাৰ ধনৰ মোনা আছে, তেওঁ তাক লওঁক; সেইদৰে জোলোঙাও লওঁক; আৰু যাৰ তৰোৱাল নাই, তেওঁ নিজৰ চোলা বেচি এখন তৰোৱাল কিনক।
Then said He unto them, But now let him, that hath a purse, take it, and his bag likewise; and let him that has no sword, sell his garment and buy one:
37 ৩৭ কিয়নো মই তোমালোকক কওঁ, এই যি বচন লিখাআছে, সেয়ে মোত সিদ্ধ হ’ব লাগে; ‘তেওঁ বিধানহীন সকলৰ লগত গণ্য হ’ল৷’ কিয়নো মোৰেই সম্বন্ধীয় কথা সিদ্ধ হৈ আহিছে।”
for I tell you, that this which is written must yet be accomplished in me, "And He was numbered with transgressors," for the things foretold concerning me are near at an end.
38 ৩৮ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, চাওক! ইয়াত দুখন তৰোৱাল আছে।” তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “সেয়ে যথেষ্ট।”
And they said, Lord, behold here are two swords. And He said unto them, It is enough.
39 ৩৯ পাছত তেওঁ বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই, তেওঁৰ নিয়মৰ দৰে জৈতুন পৰ্বতলৈ গ’ল; আৰু শিষ্য সকল তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে গ’ল।
And He came out and went, as He used to do, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed Him.
And when He was at the place, He said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
And when He was withdrawn from them about a stone's-cast, He kneeled down and prayed saying,
42 ৪২ “হে পিতৃ, যদি তোমাৰ ইচ্ছা হয়, তেনেহলে এই দূখৰ পান-পাত্ৰ মোৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰা; তথাপি মোৰ ইচ্ছা নহয়, তোমাৰেই ইচ্ছা সিদ্ধ হওক।”
Father, if thou art willing take away this cup from me---nevertheless, not my will but thine be done.
And there appeared to Him an angel from heaven strengthening Him.
44 ৪৪ পাছত তেওঁ অতি যাতনা পাই বৰকৈ প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিব ধৰিলে; আৰু গোট বান্ধি মাটিলৈ বৈ যোৱা তেজৰ নিচিনাকৈ, তেওঁৰ ঘাম তেজময় হৈ গ’ল।
And being in agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was like clotted blood falling down upon the ground.
45 ৪৫ পাছত তেওঁ প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি উঠি, শিষ্য সকলৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল আৰু তেওঁলোকক শোকত ভাগৰি শুই যোৱা দেখি ক’লে,
And when He rose up from prayer, He came to his disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow;
and He said to them, Why do ye sleep? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.
47 ৪৭ তেওঁ কথা কৈ থাকোতেই, বাৰ জন পাঁচনিৰ লগৰ যিহূদাৰ নেতৃত্বত এদল মানুহ আহি সেই ঠাইত উপস্থিত হ’ল। তাতে তেওঁ চুমা খাবলৈ যীচুৰ ওচৰ চাপি গ’ল।
And while He was yet speaking, behold a multitude; and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve apostles, came before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss Him:
and Jesus said to him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
But when they that were about Him saw what would follow, they said to Him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
And one of them smote the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear:
but Jesus said, Suffer ye thus far; and He touched his ear and healed him.
52 ৫২ তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ বিৰুদ্ধে অহা প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত, মন্দিৰৰ সেনাপতি আৰু পৰিচাৰক সকলক যীচুৱে ক’লে, “যেনেকৈ ডকাইতৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ওলাই আহা, তেনেকৈ মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধেও তোমালোকে তৰোৱাল আৰু টাঙোন লৈ ওলাই আহিলা নে?
Then said Jesus to the chief priests, and officers of the temple, and elders, that were come to Him, Are ye come out as against a robber with swords and clubs?
53 ৫৩ যেতিয়া মই নিতৌ তোমালোকৰ লগত মন্দিৰত আছিলোঁ, তেতিয়া তোমালোকে মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে হাত নেমেলিলা; কিন্তু এয়ে তোমালোকৰ সময় আৰু আন্ধাৰৰ অধিকাৰ।”
When I was day after day with you in the temple, ye did not stretch out your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 ৫৪ পাছত তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক ধৰি নিলে, আৰু মহা-পুৰোহিতৰ ঘৰলৈ লৈ গ’ল; কিন্তু পিতৰে এক দূৰত্ব ৰাখি পাছে পাছে গ’ল।
Then they took Him and led Him away, and brought Him to the high priest's. And Peter followed at a distance.
And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and sat down together, Peter also sat down among them:
56 ৫৬ তেওঁ বহি থাকোঁতে জুইৰ পোহৰত, কোনো এজনী চাকৰণীয়ে দেখা পাই, তেওঁলৈ একেথৰে চাই ক’লে, “এই মানুহ জনো তেওঁৰ লগত আছিল।”
and a servant-maid seeing him as he sat by the fire, and looking hard at him, said, This fellow was also with Him:
But he denied Him, saying, Woman, I do not know Him.
58 ৫৮ অলপ সময়ৰ পাছত, আন এজনে তেওঁক দেখা পাই ক’লে, “তুমিও তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ এজন।” কিন্তু পিতৰে ক’লে, “হে’ৰা, মই নহওঁ।”
And after a little while another person seeing him said, And thou art one of them: but Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 ৫৯ প্ৰায় এঘন্টা মানৰ পাছত, আন কোনো এজনে দৃঢ়কৈ ক’লে, “সঁচা, এই মানুহ জনেই তেওঁৰ লগত আছিল; কিয়নো তেওঁ এজন গালীলীয়া।”
And about an hour after, another confidently affirmed saying, In truth this fellow also was with Him; for he is a Galilean too: but Peter answered,
Man, I know not what thou sayst. And immediately, while he was yet speaking, the cock crew.
61 ৬১ তাতে প্ৰভুৱে ঘূৰি পিতৰলৈ চাওতে, এই যি কথা প্ৰভুৱে তেওঁক কৈছিল, ‘কুকুৰাই ডাক দিয়াৰ আগেয়ে, তুমি তিনি বাৰ মোক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিবা৷’
And the Lord turned and looked upon Peter; and Peter called to mind the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, Before the cock crow thou wilt deny me thrice.
And Peter went out and wept bitterly.
And the men that laid hold on Jesus, insulted and abused Him;
and when they had blind-folded Him, they struck Him on the face, and asked Him, saying, Prophesy who it was that smote thee.
And many other things spake they against Him, blaspheming Him.
66 ৬৬ পাছত দিন হ’লত, প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু বিধানৰ অধ্যাপক সকলৰ সৈতে লোক সকলৰ পৰিচাৰক সকল গোট খালে৷ তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক মহাসভালৈ আনিলে,
And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people, and chief-priests, and scribes, assembled together, and ordered Him up into their council:
67 ৬৭ তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “তুমি যদি খ্ৰীষ্ট হোৱা, তেনেহলে আমাক কোৱা।” কিন্তু তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “যদিও তোমালোকক কওঁ, তথাপি তোমালোকে মোক বিশ্বাস নকৰিবা,
and said to Him, Art thou the Messiah? tell us. And He said unto them, If I should tell you, ye would not believe:
and if I should put any question to you, ye would not answer me, nor discharge me.
But hereafter shall the Son of man be seated on the right hand of the power of God.
70 ৭০ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক সুধিলে, “তেনেহলে তুমি ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্ৰ নে?” যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “তোমালোকেই কোৱা যে, মই হওঁ।”
And they all said, Art thou then the Son of God?
71 ৭১ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “আমাৰ অন্য সাক্ষ্যৰ কি প্ৰয়োজন আছে? কিয়নো আমি নিজে এওঁৰ মুখৰ পৰাই এতিয়া শুনিলোঁ।”
And He said unto them, I am. And they said, What need have we of any farther evidence? when we ourselves have it from his own mouth?
