1 ১ তাৰ পাছত ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ বংশৰ লোকসকলে গোট খাই সৈন্যসকলক মাত দিলে, তাৰ পাছত নদী পাৰহৈ চাফোন চহৰলৈ গৈ যিপ্তহক ক’লে, “কিয় তুমি অম্মোনৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ আমাক মতা নাই বা আমাৰ সহায় বিচাৰা নাই? আমি তোমাৰ সৈতে তোমাৰ ঘৰো জুইৰে পুৰিম”।
`Lo! forsothe discencioun roos in Effraym; for whi thei, that passiden ayens the north, seiden to Jepte, Whi yedist thou to batel ayens the sones of Amon, and noldist clepe vs, that we schulden go with thee? Therfor we schulen brenne thin hows.
2 ২ তেতিয়া যিপ্তহে তেওঁলোকক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “অম্মোনৰ সন্তান সকলে আমাক নানা সমস্যাত পেলাইছিল সেই বাবে আমি তেওঁলোকৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিছোঁ, মই আৰু মোৰ লোকসকলে তোমালোকৰ সহায় বিচাৰি তোমালোকক মাতিছিলোঁ, কিন্তু তোমালোকৰ কোনো এজনো সহায় কৰিবলৈ আগবাঢ়ি নাহিলা;
To whiche he answeride, Greet strijf was to me and to my puple ayens the sones of Amon, and Y clepide you, that ye schulden `yyue help to me, and ye nolden do.
3 ৩ যেতিয়া দেখিলোঁ তোমালোকে মোক কোনেওঁ সহায় নকৰা, তেতিয়া মই নিজে নদী পাৰ হৈ প্ৰাণ আঁচলৰ আগত বান্ধি লৈ অম্মোনৰ সন্তান সকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধত নামি পৰিলো। তাতে যিহোৱাই মোৰ হাতত সিহঁতক সমৰ্পণ কৰিলে; এতেকে তোমালোকে মোৰে সৈতে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ আজি কিয় মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিছা?”
`Which thing Y siy, and puttide my lijf in myn hondis; and Y passide to the sones of Amon, and `the Lord bitook hem in to myn hondis; what haue Y disseruyd, that ye ryse togidere ayens me in to batel?
4 ৪ পাছত যিপ্তহে গিলিয়দৰ সকলো লোকক গোটাই ইফ্ৰয়িমীয়া লোকসকলৰ সৈতে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে; কিয়নো সিহঁতে কৈছিল, “হেৰৌ গিলিয়দীয়াসকল, তহঁত ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ আৰু মনচিৰ মাজৰ পৰা পলাই অহা ইফ্ৰয়িমীয়া মানুহ।” সেই যুদ্ধত গিলিয়দৰ লোকসকলে ইফ্রয়িমীয়া লোকসকলক পৰাস্ত কৰিলে।
Therfor whanne alle the men of Galaad weren clepid to hym, he fauyt ayens Effraym; and the men of Galaad smytiden Effraym; for he seide, Galaad is `fugitif ether exilid fro Effraym, and dwellith in the myddis of Effraym and of Manasses.
5 ৫ পাছত গিলিয়দীয়াসকলে ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ মানুহৰ আগেয়ে গৈ যৰ্দ্দনৰ পাৰ-ঘাটবোৰ দখল কৰি ল’লে; তাতে ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ পলাই যোৱা কোনো মানুহে যদি কয়, “আমক নদী পাৰ হ’বলৈ দিয়া”, তেতিয়া গিলিয়দৰ মানুহে তেওঁলোকক সোধে, ‘তুমি জানো ইফ্ৰয়িমীয়া মানুহ নোহোৱা?’ আৰু তেওঁ যদি কয় “নহয়”,
And the men of Galaad ocupieden the forthis of Jordan, bi whiche Effraym schulden turne ayen. And whanne a man fleynge of the noumbre of Effraym hadde come to tho forthis, and hadde seid, Y biseche, that thou suffre me passe; men of Galaad seiden to hym, Whether thou art a man of Effraym? And whanne he seide, Y am not,
6 ৬ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে কয়, ‘এবাৰ “শ্যিব্বোলেৎ” কোৱাচোন’; তেতিয়া ইফ্রয়িমৰ লোকসকলে শুদ্ধৰূপে উচ্চাৰণ কৰিব নোৱাৰি “চিব্বোলেৎ” বুলি ক’লেই, তেওঁলোকে ধৰি যৰ্দ্দনৰ পাৰৰ ঘাটত বধ কৰে। সেই সময়ত ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ বিয়াল্লিশ হাজাৰ লোকক হত্যা কৰা হ’ল।
thei axiden hym, Seie thou therfor Sebolech, `whiche is interpretid, `an eer of corn. Which answeride, Thebolech, and myyte not brynge forth an eer of corn bi the same lettre. And anoon thei strangeliden hym takun in thilke passyng of Jordan; and two and fourti thousynde of Effraym felden doun in that tyme.
7 ৭ যিপ্তহে ছবছৰলৈকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিচাৰ কৰিলে। পাছত গিলিয়দীয়া যিপ্তহৰ মৃত্যু হোৱাত তেওঁক গিলিয়দৰ কোনো এখন নগৰত মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল।
And so Jepte, `a man of Galaad, demyde Israel sixe yeer; and he `was deed, and biried in his citee Galaad.
Abethsan of Bethleem, that hadde thretti sones, and so many douytris, demyde Israel aftir Jepte;
9 ৯ তেওঁৰ ত্ৰিশ জন পুতেক আছিল; আৰু তেওঁ ত্ৰিশজনী জীয়েকক উলিয়াই দি, নিজ পুতেকহঁতৰ বাবে ত্ৰিশ জনী ছোৱালী বাহিৰৰ পৰা আনিলে। তেওঁ সাত বছৰলৈকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিচাৰ কৰিলে।

and he `was deed, and biried in Bethleem.
11 ১১ তেওঁৰ পাছত জবূলূনীয়া এলোন ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিচাৰকৰ্ত্তা হ’ল; তেওঁ দহ বছৰলৈকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিচাৰ কৰিলে।
Whos successour was Hailon of Zabulon; and he demyde Israel ten yeer;
and he was deed, and biried in Zabulon.
Aftir hym Abdon, the sone of Ellel, of Pharaton, demyde Israel;
14 ১৪ তেওঁৰ চল্লিশ জন পুতেক, আৰু ত্ৰিশজন নাতিয়েক আছিল; তেওঁলোকে সত্তৰটা গাধত উঠি ফুৰে; অব্দোনে আঠ বছৰলৈকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিচাৰক আছিল।
which Abdon hadde fourti sones, and of hem thretti sones, stiynge on seuenti coltis of femal assis, `that is, mulis, and he demyde Israel eiyte yeer;
15 ১৫ পাছত পিৰাথোনীয়া হিল্লোলৰ পুত্ৰ অব্দোনৰ মৃত্যু হোৱাত, অমালেকীয়াসকলৰ পৰ্ব্বতীয়া অঞ্চল ইফ্ৰয়িম দেশৰ পিৰিয়াথোনত তেওঁক মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল।
and he `was deed, and biried in Pharaton, in the loond of Effraym, in the hil of Amalech.
