যোব 28

1 ১ নিশ্চয়ে ৰূপৰ আকৰ আছে আৰু যি সোণ খপা যায়; সেই সোণৰ ঠাইও আছে।

“Surely there is a source for silver, And a place for the gold they refine;

2 ২ লোহা মাটিৰ পৰা উলিওৱা হয়, আৰু শিল গলাই তাম উলিয়ায়।

Iron is taken from the dust, And bronze [from] the firm stone.

3 ৩ মানুহে অন্ধকাৰ শেষ কৰে, নিচেই তলিলৈকে খান্দে, আন্ধাৰ আৰু মৃত্যুচ্ছায়াৰ শিল বিচাৰি উলিয়ায়।

He has set an end to darkness, And he is searching to all perfection, A stone of darkness and death-shade.

4 ৪ সিহঁতে আকৰ খান্দি গৈ মানুহ থকা ঠাইৰ পৰা দূৰৈ হয়, আৰু ওপৰত ফুৰা লোকে সিহঁতৰ গম নাপায়; সিহঁতে মানুহৰ পৰা দুৰৈত ওলমি জুলি থাকে।

A stream has broken out from a sojourner, Those forgotten of the foot, They were low, they wandered from man.

5 ৫ যি পৃথিবীৰ পৰা শস্য উৎপন্ন হয়, তাৰ তল ভাগ জুইৰ দ্বাৰাই লণ্ডভণ্ড কৰাৰ নিচিনা।

The earth! Bread comes forth from it, And its under-part is turned like fire.

6 ৬ তাৰ শিলবোৰ নীলকান্ত বাখৰ থকা ঠাই, আৰু গুড়ি সোণ তাত আছিল।

A place of the sapphire [are] its stones, And it has dust of gold.

7 ৭ সেই পথ হিংসক পক্ষীয়ে নাজানে, আৰু শেনৰ চকুৱেও তাক নেদেখে।

A path—a ravenous bird has not known it, Nor has an eye of the falcon scorched it,

8 ৮ গৰ্ব্বী হিংসুক জন্তুবোৰে তাত খোজ দিয়া নাই, আৰু সিংহও সেই ফালেদি যোৱা নাই।

Nor have the sons of pride trodden it, The fierce lion has not passed over it.

9 ৯ মানুহে অতি টান শিলত হাত দিয়ে; সি পৰ্ব্বতবোৰ মূলে সৈতে লুটিয়াই পেলায়।

He sent forth his hand against the flint, He overturned mountains from the root.

10 ১০ সি শিলৰ মাজে মাজে নলা কাটে, আৰু তাৰ চকুৱে সকলো বিধৰ বহুমূল্য বস্তু দেখা পায়।

Among rocks, he has cleaved brooks, And his eye has seen every precious thing.

11 ১১ সি জুৰিবোৰ পানী এটোপাও সৰকিব নোৱাৰাকৈ ভেটে, আৰু গুপুতে থকা বস্তু পোহৰলৈ উলিয়ায়।

He has bound overflowing rivers, And the hidden thing brings out [to] light.

12 ১২ কিন্তু জ্ঞান ক’ত পোৱা যায়? আৰু সুবিবেচনাৰ ঠাই বা ক’ত?

And the wisdom—from where is it found? And where [is] this, the place of understanding?

13 ১৩ মনুষ্যই তাৰ মূল্য নাজানে, আৰু জীৱিতসকলৰ দেশত তাক পোৱা নাযায়।

Man has not known its arrangement, Nor is it found in the land of the living.

14 ১৪ অগাধ জলে কয়, এইটি মোত নাই, আৰু সাগৰে কয়, মোৰ ইয়াতো নাই।

The deep has said, It [is] not in me, And the sea has said, It is not with me.

15 ১৫ শুদ্ধ সোণ দিওঁ তাক পোৱা নাযায়, আৰু তাৰ বেচ বুলি ৰূপকো জুখি দিব নোৱাৰি।

Gold is not given for it, Nor is silver weighed—its price.

16 ১৬ ওফীৰৰ সুবৰ্ণ আৰু বহুমূল্য বৈদূৰ্য্য, আৰু নীলকান্ত বাখৰও জোখত তাৰ সমান নহয়।

It is not valued with pure gold of Ophir, With precious onyx and sapphire,

17 ১৭ সোণ আৰু আৰ্চি তাৰ তুল্য হ’ব নোৱাৰে, আৰু তাৰ সলনি শুদ্ধ সোণৰ অলঙ্কাৰবোৰকো দিব নোৱাৰি।

Gold and crystal do not equal it, Nor [is] its exchange a vessel of fine gold.

18 ১৮ তাৰ আগত পোৱাল আৰু স্ফটিকৰো নাম লব নোৱাৰি, এনে কি, পদ্মৰাগ বাখৰত্কৈয়ো জ্ঞানৰ মূল্য অধিক।

Corals and pearl are not remembered, The acquisition of wisdom [is] above rubies.

19 ১৯ কুচ দেশীয় গোমেদক বাখৰও তাৰ তুল্য নহয়, আৰু জোখত শুদ্ধ সোণো তাৰ সমান নহয়।

The topaz of Cush does not equal it, It is not valued with pure gold.

20 ২০ তেন্তে জ্ঞান ক’ৰ পৰা আহে? আৰু সুবিবেচনাৰ ঠাই বা ক’ত?

And the wisdom—from where does it come? And where [is] this, the place of understanding?

21 ২১ এইটো সকলো প্ৰাণীৰ চকুৰ পৰা গুপ্ত, আৰু আকাশৰ পক্ষীৰ পৰাও অদৃশ্য।

It has been hid from the eyes of all living. And from the bird of the heavens It has been hidden.

22 ২২ বিনাশ আৰু মৃত্যুৱে কয়, আমি নিজ কাণে সেই বিষয়ে ঘুনুক-ঘানাককৈহে শুনিছোঁ।

Destruction and death have said: With our ears we have heard its fame.

23 ২৩ তাৰ পথ ঈশ্বৰেহে জানে, আৰু তাৰ ঠাই তেওঁৰহে জনা আছে।

God has understood its way, And He has known its place.

24 ২৪ কিয়নো তেওঁ পৃথিবীৰ অন্তলৈকে দেখে, আৰু আকাশ-মণ্ডলৰ তলৰ আটাই ঠাইলৈকে তেওঁৰ চকু যায়।

For He looks to the ends of the earth, He sees under the whole heavens,

25 ২৫ তেওঁ যেতিয়া বায়ুৰ গুৰুত্ব নিৰূপণ কৰিলে, যেতিয়া পৰিমান অনুসাৰে জল সমূহ জুখি জুখি দিলে,

To make a weight for the wind, And He meted out the waters in measure.

26 ২৬ যেতিয়া তেওঁ বৃষ্টিৰ নিয়ম নিৰূপণ কৰিলে, আৰু মিঘ-গৰ্জ্জনৰ সৈতে ওলোৱা বিজুলীৰ পথ স্থিৰ কৰিলে,

In His making for the rain a limit, And a way for the brightness of the voices,

27 ২৭ তেতিয়া তেওঁ জ্ঞানক দেখিলে, আৰু প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে, তেওঁ তাক স্থাপন কৰিলে, আৰু তাৰ তদন্তও কৰিলে;

Then He has seen and declares it, He has prepared it, and also searched it out,

28 ২৮ আৰু তেওঁ মনুষ্যক কলে, চোৱা, প্ৰভুলৈ ভয় ৰখাই জ্ঞান, আৰু কুকৰ্ম ত্যাগ কৰাই সুবিবেচনা।

And He says to man: Behold, fear of the Lord, that [is] wisdom, And to turn from evil [is] understanding.”
