1 ১ পাছত ইয়োবে পুনৰায় কথা উত্থাপন কৰি ক’লে,

Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

2 ২ যি ঈশ্বৰে মোৰ বিচাৰ অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰিলে, যি সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাই মোৰ প্ৰাণত তিতা লগালে, সেই জীৱন্ত ঈশ্বৰৰ নামেৰে শপত খাই কৈছোঁ,

As God lives, who has taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who has vexed my soul;

3 ৩ কিয়নো এতিয়াও নিশ্বাস-প্ৰশ্বাস মোত সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে আছে, আৰু মোৰ নাকত ঈশ্বৰে দিয়া প্ৰাণ-বায়ু আছে;

All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

4 ৪ মোৰ ওঁঠে অধৰ্ম কথা কেতিয়াও নকয়, আৰু মোৰ জিভাই ভাণ্ডনা কথা প্ৰকাশ নকৰে।

My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

5 ৫ মই যে তোমালোকৰ কথা স্বৰূপ বুলি স্বীকাৰ কৰিম, এনে কথা মোৰ পৰা দূৰ হওক। মই নমৰোমানে মোৰ সিদ্ধতা মোৰ পৰা দূৰ নকৰিম।

God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove my integrity from me.

6 ৬ মোৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা মই ধৰি ৰাখিম, এৰি নিদিম; মোৰ আয়ুসৰ দিনলৈকো মোৰ অন্তৰে মোক নোদোষে।

My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

7 ৭ মোৰ শত্ৰূ দুৰ্জনৰ দৰে হওক, আৰু মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠা জন অধৰ্মি দৰে হওক।

Let my enemy be as the wicked, and he that rises up against me as the unrighteous.

8 ৮ কিয়নো, যেতিয়া অধৰ্মিৰ প্ৰাণ ঈশ্বৰে হৰণ কৰি নিব, তেতিয়া সি ধন লাভ কৰিলেও তাৰ কি আশা থাকিব?

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he has gained, when God takes away his soul?

9 ৯ তাৰ সঙ্কট ঘটিলে, ঈশ্বৰে কাতৰোক্তি শুনিব নে?

Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him?

10 ১০ সি জানো সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাত আনন্দ পায়? বা সদায় ঈশ্বৰৰ আগত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰে?

Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call on God?

11 ১১ ঈশ্বৰে কেনেকৈ ব্যৱহাৰ কৰে, সেই বিষয়ে মই তোমালোকক শিক্ষা দিওঁ, আৰু সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমানৰ কাৰ্য-প্ৰণালী মই লুকুৱাই নাৰাখোঁ।

I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

12 ১২ চোৱা, তোমালোক সকলোৱেই দেখিলা; তেন্তে তোমালোকে কিয় এনে সম্পূৰ্ণ অসাৰ কথা কোৱা?

Behold, all you yourselves have seen it; why then are you thus altogether vain?

13 ১৩ দুৰ্জন লোকে ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰা যি ভাগ পায়, আৰু অত্যাচাৰীবোৰে যি অংশ সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাৰ পৰা ভোগ কৰে, সেয়ে এই,

This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.

14 ১৪ তাৰ পো-নাতি বাঢ়িলে তৰোৱালৰ নিমিত্তেহে বাঢ়ে, আৰু তাৰ সন্তান-সন্ততিয়ে পেট ভৰাই খাবলৈ নাপায়।

If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

15 ১৫ তাৰ অৱশিষ্টবোৰক মহামাৰীৰ দ্ধাৰাই পুতি থুৱা যাব, আৰু তাৰ বিধৱাবিলাকে বিলাপ নকৰিব।

Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.

16 ১৬ যদি সি ধুলিৰ নিচিনাকৈ ৰূপ দ’মায়, আৰু পিন্ধা কাপোৰকো বোকাৰ দৰে সৰহকৈ যুগুত কৰে,

Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;

17 ১৭ তেন্তে যুগুত কৰক, কিন্তু ধাৰ্মিক লোকেহে পিন্ধিব, আৰু নিৰ্দ্দোষী লোকে সেই ৰূপ ভাগ বাঁটি ল’ব।

He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

18 ১৮ সি নিজৰ ঘৰ পোকৰ দৰে সাজে, আৰু খেতি-ৰখীয়া টঙিৰ দৰে নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰে।

He builds his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper makes.

19 ১৯ সি ধনী হৈ শুব, কিন্তু তাক মৈদাম দিয়া নাযাব; সি চকু মেলামাত্ৰকে নাইকিয়া হয়।

The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he opens his eyes, and he is not.

20 ২০ নানা ত্ৰাসে তাক ঢল পানীৰ দৰে আক্ৰণ কৰে। ৰাতি ধুমুহাই অকস্মাতে তাক উড়ুৱাই নিয়ে।

Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest steals him away in the night.

21 ২১ পূবৰ বতাহে তাক তুলি নি স্থানান্তৰ কৰে, আৰু নিজ ঠাইৰ পৰা তাক দূৰৈত পেলাই দিয়ে।

The east wind carries him away, and he departs: and as a storm hurls him out of his place.

22 ২২ কিয়নো ঈশ্বৰে দয়া নকৰি তালৈ কাঁড় মাৰি থাকিব, সি তেওঁৰ ভয়ত পলাই ফুৰিব।

For God shall cast on him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.

23 ২৩ লোকে তাক দেখি হাত-তালি দিব, আৰু ছি ছি কৰি তাৰ ঠাইৰ তাক খেদি দিব।

Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
