যোব 23

1 ১ তেতিয়া ইয়োবে পুনৰায় উত্তৰ কৰি কলে,

Then Job answered,

2 ২ এতিয়াও মোৰ কাতৰোক্তি বিৰুদ্ধী; মোৰ কেঁকনিতকৈয়ো মই খোৱা কোব গুৰুতৰ।

"Even today my complaint is rebellious. His hand is heavy in spite of my groaning.

3 ৩ অস, মই তেওঁক ক’ত পাম, তাক জনা হলে, আৰু তেওঁৰ তালৈ যাব পৰা হলে, কেনে ভাল আছিল।

Oh that I knew where I might find him. That I might come even to his seat.

4 ৪ তেতিয়া মোৰ গোচৰ তেওঁৰ আগত মই জনালোহেঁতেন, আৰু মোৰ মুখ নানা যুক্তিৰে পূৰ্ণ কৰিলোহেঁতেন;

I would set my cause in order before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.

5 ৫ তেওঁ যি যি বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰাই মোক উত্তৰ দিব, তাক মই জানিলোঁহেঁতেন, আৰু তেওঁ মোলৈ কি কি কব, তাকো বুজিলোহেঁতেন।

I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would tell me.

6 ৬ তেওঁ মহাপৰাক্রমেৰে মোৰ লগত বিৰোধ কৰিলেহেঁতেন নে? নকৰিলেহেঁতেন, কিন্তু তেওঁ মোলৈ মনোযোগহে কৰিলেহেঁতেন।

Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? No, but he would listen to me.

7 ৭ তেতিয়া সেই ঠাইত সৰল লোকে তেওঁৰ লগত বাদানুবাদ কৰিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন; তাতে মোৰ বিচাৰকে মোক ন্যায় দিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন।

There the upright might reason with him, so I should be delivered forever from my judge.

8 ৮ চোৱা, মই পূব ফাললৈ যাওঁ, কিন্তু তেওঁ তাত নাই; আৰু পশ্চিম ফাললৈ যাওঁ, তাতো তেওঁক দেখা নাপাওঁ।

"If I go east, he is not there; if west, I can't find him;

9 ৯ তেওঁ কাৰ্য কৰা সময়ত মই উত্তৰ ফাললৈ যাওঁ, কিন্তু মই তেওঁক দেখা নাপাওঁ; তেওঁ দক্ষিণ ফালে নিজকে লুকুৱায়, কিন্তু মই তেওঁক নেদেখোঁ।

He works to the north, but I can't see him. He turns south, but I can't catch a glimpse of him.

10 ১০ কিন্তু মই যি পথ ধৰিছোঁ, তাক তেওঁ জানে; তেওঁ মোক পৰীক্ষা কৰা হলে, মই সোণৰ দৰে ওলালোহেঁতেন।

But he knows the way that I take. When he has tried me, I shall come forth like gold.

11 ১১ মই তেওঁৰ ভৰিৰ খোজত ভৰি দি দি আহিছোঁ; এফলীয়া নোহোৱাকৈ মই তেওঁৰ পথত চলিছোঁ।

My foot has held fast to his steps. I have kept his way, and not turned aside.

12 ১২ তেওঁৰ মুখৰ আজ্ঞাৰ পৰা মই আঁতৰি যোৱা নাই; তেওঁৰ মুখৰ বাক্য মোৰ আৱশ্যকীয় আহাৰতকৈয়ো বহুমূল্য জ্ঞান কৰিলোঁ।

I haven't gone back from the commandment of his lips. I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

13 ১৩ কিন্তু তেওঁ এক মনৰ লোক, তেওঁক কোনে ঘুৰাব পাৰে? তেওঁৰ যি ইচ্ছা, তাকেই তেওঁ কৰে।

But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? What his soul desires, even that he does.

14 ১৪ মোলৈ যি নিৰূপিত, নিশ্চয়ে তাক তেওঁ সিদ্ধ কৰিব; আৰু এনে অনেক কথা তেওঁৰ মনত আছে।

For he performs that which is appointed for me. Many such things are with him.

15 ১৫ এই নিমিত্তে মই তেওঁৰ সাক্ষাতে ব্যাকুল হওঁ। মই বিবেচনা কৰিলে তেওঁৰ পৰা ভয় পাওঁ।

Therefore I am terrified at his presence. When I consider, I am afraid of him.

16 ১৬ কিয়নো ঈশ্বৰেই মোৰ মন ভগ্ন কৰিলে, আৰু সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাই মোক ব্যাকুল কৰিলে;

For God has made my heart faint. Shaddai has terrified me.

17 ১৭ কাৰণ মই আন্ধাৰৰ কাৰণে ব্যাকুল নহওঁ, আৰু ঘোৰ অন্ধকাৰে ঢকা মোৰ মুখৰ কাৰণে মই বিহ্বল নহওঁ।

Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither did he cover the thick darkness from my face.
