যোব 18

1 ১ তাতে চুহীয়া বিল্দাদদে পুনৰায় উত্তৰ কৰি ক’লে,

Then Baldad the Sauchite answered and said,

2 ২ তোমালোকেনো কিমান কাল কথা বিচাৰি থাকিবা? তোমালোকে বুজি চাব লাগে; তাৰ পাছত আমি কথা ক’ব পাৰোঁ।

How long wilt thou continue? forbear, that we also may speak.

3 ৩ আমি নো কেলেই পশুতুল্য গণিত হৈছোঁ? আৰু তোমালোকৰ দৃ্ষ্টিত আমি নো কেলেই অশুচি হৈছোঁ?

For wherefore have we been silent before thee like brutes?

4 ৪ ক্ৰোধত নিজকে বিদৰোৱা যি তুমি, তোমাৰ নিমিত্তে জানো পৃথিৱী ত্যাগ কৰা হ’ব, বা তোমাৰ নিমিত্তে বৃহৎ শিলক নিজ ঠাইৰ পৰা আঁতৰোৱা যাব?

Anger has possessed thee: for what if thou shouldest die; would [the earth] under heaven be desolate? or shall the mountains be overthrown from their foundations?

5 ৫ নিশ্চয় দুষ্টৰ দীপ্তি নুমাই যাব, আৰু তাৰ অগ্নিশিখাই পোহৰ নিদিব।

But the light of the ungodly shall be quenched, and their flame shall not go up.

6 ৬ তাৰ তম্বুত পোহৰেই আন্ধাৰ হ’ব, আৰু তাৰ ওপৰত ওলোমাই থোৱা চাকি নুমাই যাব।

His light [shall be] darkness in [his] habitation, and his lamp shall be put out with him.

7 ৭ তাৰ খোজৰ শক্তি কম হৈ যাব, আৰু সি নিজৰ পৰামৰ্শতে নিজে পৰিব।

Let the meanest of men spoil his goods, and let his counsel deceive [him].

8 ৮ কিয়নো নিজৰ ভৰিয়েই তাক জালৰ মাজত পেলাই দিয়ে, আৰু সি পাশৰ ওপৰেদি ফুৰে।

His foot also has been caught in a snare, [and] let it be entangled in a net.

9 ৯ কুন্দাই তাৰ ভৰিৰ গোৰোহাত ধৰিব, আৰু সি ফান্দত ধৰা পৰিব।

And let snares come upon him: he shall strengthen those that thirst for his destruction.

10 ১০ তাৰ নিমিত্তে মাটিত খোৰোচা লুকুৱাই পতা আছে, আৰু তাৰ নিমিত্তে বাটত ফাচ পতা আছে।

His snare is hid in the earth, and that which shall take him is by the path.

11 ১১ কেইওফালৰ পৰা নানা ত্ৰাসে তাক ভয় লগাব, আৰু খোজে খোজে তাক খেদি যাব।

Let pains destroy him round about, and let many [enemies] come about him,

12 ১২ ভোকত তাৰ বল কমি যাব, আৰু বিপদে তাৰ পতনলৈ বাট চাই থাকিব।

[vex him] with distressing hunger: and a signal destruction has been prepared for him.

13 ১৩ মৃত্যুৰ জেষ্ঠ পুত্ৰই তাৰ সৰ্ব্বাঙ্গ গ্ৰাস কৰিব, আৰু তাৰ শৰীৰৰ অঙ্গ-প্ৰতঙ্গবোৰ খাই পেলাব,

Let the soles of his feet be devoured: and death shall consume his beauty.

14 ১৪ যি তম্বুতেই সি আশ্ৰয় লব, সেই তম্বুৰেই পৰা তাক তুলি নিয়া হ’ব; ত্ৰাসবোৰৰ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ তাক নিয়া হ’ব।

And let health be utterly banished from his tabernacle, and let distress seize upon him with a charge from the king.

15 ১৫ তাৰ অসম্পৰ্কীয়বোৰে তাৰ তম্বুত বাস কৰিব; তাৰ বসতিৰ ঠাইত গন্ধক সিঁচা হ’ব।

It shall dwell in his tabernacle in his night: his excellency shall be sown with brimstone.

16 ১৬ তলত তাৰ শিপাবোৰ শুকাব, আৰু ওপৰত তাৰ ডাল কটা যাব।

His roots shall be dried up from beneath, and his crop shall fall away from above.

17 ১৭ পৃথিবীৰ পৰা তাৰ সোঁৱৰণ লুপ্ত হ’ব, আৰু গাৱেঁ-ভূঁয়ে কোনেও তাৰ নাম নলব।

Let his memorial perish out of the earth, and his name shall be publicly cast out.

18 ১৮ তাক পোহৰৰ পৰা আন্ধাৰলৈ দূৰ কৰি দিয়া হ’ব, আৰু সংসাৰৰ পৰা খেদাই দিয়া যাব।

Let [one] drive him from light into darkness.

19 ১৯ স্বজাতীয়বোৰৰ মাজত তাৰ পো নাতি নাথাকিব, তাৰ বসতিৰ কোনো ঠাইত কোনো অৱশিষ্ট নাথাকিব।

He shall not be known among his people, nor his house preserved on the earth.

20 ২০ তাৰ দুৰ্দ্দিন দেখি পশ্চিমত থকা লোক সকলে বিস্ময় মানিব, আৰু পূবত থকাবোৰে চিঞৰি উঠিব।

But strangers shall dwell in his possessions: the last groaned for him, and wonder seized the first.

21 ২১ নিশ্চয়ে অধৰ্মিৰ বাসস্থান এনেকুৱা হ’ব, আৰু ঈশ্বৰক নজনা লোকৰ ঠাই এনেকুৱা।”

These are the houses of the unrighteous, and this is the place of them that know not the Lord.
