যোব 11

1 ১ তাতে নামাথীয়া চোফৰে উত্তৰ দিলে আৰু ক’লে,

Then Zophar the Naamathite made answer and said,

2 ২ ইমান অধিক কথাৰ নো উত্তৰ দিয়া নাযায় নে? বহু কথা কোৱা মানুহক জানো নিৰ্দ্দোষী কৰা হ’ব?

Are all these words to go unanswered? and is a man seen to be right because he is full of talk?

3 ৩ তোমাৰ বলকনিয়ে জানো মানুহক নিমাত কৰিব? তুমি নিন্দা কৰিলে, কোনেও তোমাক লাজ নিদিব নে?

Are your words of pride to make men keep quiet? and are you to make sport, with no one to put you to shame?

4 ৪ কিয়নো তুমি কৈছা, “মোৰ মত ঠিক, আৰু মই তোমাৰ দৃষ্টিতে শুচি।”

You may say, My way is clean, and I am free from sin in your eyes.

5 ৫ কিন্তু অস, ঈশ্বৰে অনুগ্ৰহ কৰি কথা কোৱা হলে, আৰু তোমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে নিজ মুখ মেলিলে;

But if only God would take up the word, opening his lips in argument with you;

6 ৬ জ্ঞানৰ নিগূঢ় বিষয় প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে, ঈশ্বৰৰ বুদ্ধি-কৌশল যে অনেক প্ৰকাৰ, সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁ তোমাক জনোৱা হলে, কেনে ভাল আছিল! এই হেতুকে তুমি জানিবা যে, ঈশ্বৰে তোমাৰ অপৰাধৰ অধিক ভাগ এৰি পেলাইছে।

And would make clear to you the secrets of wisdom, and the wonders of his purpose!

7 ৭ তুমি অনুসন্ধান কৰি ঈশ্বৰৰ তত্ত্ব পাব পাৰা নে? তুমি সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাৰ সম্পূৰ্ণ তত্ত্ব লাভ কৰিব পাৰা নে?

Are you able to take God's measure, to make discovery of the limits of the Ruler of all?

8 ৮ সেয়ে আকশ-মণ্ডলৰ নিচিনা ওখ; তুমি কি কৰিব পাৰা? সেয়ে চিয়োলতকৈ অগাধ; তুমি কি জানিব পাৰা? (Sheol h7585)

They are higher than heaven; what is there for you to do? deeper than the underworld, and outside your knowledge; (Sheol h7585)

9 ৯ তাৰ পৰিমাণ পৃথিবীতকৈয়ো দীঘল, আৰু সমুদ্ৰতকৈয়ো বহল।

Longer in measure than the earth, and wider than the sea.

10 ১০ তেওঁ যদি পোনে পোনে আহে আৰু কোনোবা এজনক যদি আটক কৰি থয়, আৰু বিচাৰ-সভা পাতে, তেন্তে কোনে তেওঁক নিবাৰণ কৰিব পাৰে?

If he goes on his way, shutting a man up and putting him to death, who may make him go back from his purpose?

11 ১১ কিয়নো তেওঁ দুষ্ট লোকক জানে, আৰু মনযোগ নিদিলেও তেওঁ অধৰ্ম দেখে।

For in his eyes men are as nothing; he sees evil and takes note of it.

12 ১২ কিন্তু অসাৰ মানুহ জ্ঞনশূন্য, এনে কি, মনুষ্য জন্মৰে পৰা বনৰীয়া গাধৰ পোৱালিস্বৰূপ।

And so a hollow-minded man will get wisdom, when a young ass of the field gets teaching.

13 ১৩ তুমি যদি নিজৰ মন শুদ্ধ কৰা, আৰু তেওঁৰ ফাললৈ হাত মেলা,

But if you put your heart right, stretching out your hands to him;

14 ১৪ কিন্তু হাতত অধৰ্ম থাকিলে, তাক দূৰ কৰা, আৰু দুষ্টতাক নিজ তম্বুত থাকিব নিদিবা;

If you put far away the evil of your hands, and let no wrongdoing have a place in your tent;

15 ১৫ তেন্তে তুমি অৱশ্যে নিষ্কলঙ্ক মুখ তুলিব পাৰিবা; এনে কি, সুস্থিৰে থাকিবা, ভয় নাপাবা,

Then truly your face will be lifted up, with no mark of sin, and you will be fixed in your place without fear:

16 ১৬ কিয়নো তোমাৰ দুখ তুমি পাহৰি যাবা, ইয়াক বৈ গৈ নাইকিয়া হোৱা পানীৰ নিচিনা মনতে লাগিব।

For your sorrow will go from your memory, like waters flowing away:

17 ১৭ তোমাৰ জীৱন দুপৰীয়াতকৈ নিৰ্ম্মল হ’ব, আৰু আন্ধাৰ হলেও, সেয়ে প্ৰভাতৰ নিচিনা হ’ব।

And your life will be brighter than day; though it is dark, it will become like the morning.

18 ১৮ আশা থকা কাৰণে তুমি সাহিয়াল হবা; আৰু চাৰিওফালে বুজ-বিচাৰ লৈ নিশ্চিন্তমনে বিশ্ৰাম কৰিবা।

And you will be safe because there is hope; after looking round, you will take your rest in quiet;

19 ১৯ তুমি শোওঁতে কোনেও তোমাক ভয় নেদেখুৱাব; বৰং অনেকে তোমাৰ আগত নিবেদন কৰিব।

Sleeping with no fear of danger; and men will be desiring to have grace in your eyes;

20 ২০ কিন্তু দুষ্টবোৰৰ চকু নিস্তেজ হ’ব, সিহঁতৰ আশ্ৰয় নষ্ট হব, আৰু প্ৰাণত্যাগেই সিহঁতৰ আশা হ’ব।

But the eyes of the evil-doers will be wasting away; their way of flight is gone, and their only hope is the taking of their last breath.
