যেরেমিয়া 4
1 ১ যিহোৱাই কৈছে: হে ইস্ৰায়েল লোকসকল, এই আন আন দেৱ-দেৱীবোৰক এৰা আৰু মোলৈ উলটি আহাঁ! তুমি যদি এই জঘন্য দেৱ-দেৱীবোৰৰ পৰা আঁতৰি আহিব খোজা, তেন্তে তোমাক অগ্রাহ্য কৰা নহ’ব।
If thou wilt return, O Israel, Declareth Yahweh, Unto me, mayst thou return, —And if thou wilt remove thine abominations from before me, Then shalt thou not become a wanderer.
2 ২ আৰু যদি তুমি ঘোষণা কৰা, যে ‘নিশ্চয়কৈ যিহোৱা জীৱিত, তেওঁ যিটো কয়, সেয়ে সত্য, ন্যায় আৰু ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ জীৱনৰ কথা কয়’, যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত কৰিবা আৰু জাতিবোৰে তেওঁতেই নিজক আশীৰ্ব্বাদপ্ৰাপ্ত বুলি জ্ঞাত কৰিব, আৰু তেওঁতেই তেওঁলোকে গৌৰৱ কৰিব।
If thou wilt swear, By the life of Yahweh! in faithfulness in justice and in righteousness, Then shall the nations bless themselves in him, And, in him, shall they glory.
3 ৩ সেই বাবেই যিহোৱাই যিহূদা আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ লোকসকলক এই কথা কৈছে, “খেতিয়কে নিজৰ কঠিন মাটি চহাই গুটি ৰুবলৈ প্রস্তুত কৰাৰ দৰে মোৰ বাক্য তোমালোকৰ গুপ্ত স্থানত গ্রহণ কৰিবলৈ যুগুত থাকিবা। কিন্তু যিহেতু খেতিয়কে কাঁইটীয়া বন থকা মাটিত নষ্ট হ’বলৈ ভাল গুটি নিসিঁচে, তেনেকৈ তোমালোকৰ কঠিন মনত সেই বাক্য দি, নষ্ট কৰিবলৈ মই নোখোজো।
For thus saith Yahweh Unto the men of Judah and unto Jerusalem, Till ye the untilled ground, —And do not sow among thorns.
4 ৪ হে যিহূদাৰ লোক, হে যিৰূচালেম নিবাসীসকল, তোমালোকে যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে চুন্নৎ হোৱা, নিজ নিজ হৃদয়ৰ অগ্ৰচৰ্ম্ম গুচাই পেলোৱা, নতুবা তোমালোকৰ কাৰ্যৰ দুষ্টতাৰ বাবে মোৰ ক্ৰোধাগ্নি জ্বলি উঠি কোনেও নুমাব নোৱাৰাকৈ দগ্ধ কৰিব।
Circumcise yourselves unto Yahweh So shall ye remove the impurity of your heart, ye men of Judah and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, —Lest mine indignation, go forth as fire, and burn and there be none to quench it, Because of the wickedness of your doings.
5 ৫ যিহূদাত বাকি ঠাইবোৰত প্ৰচাৰ কৰা আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ সকলো লোকসকলৰ আগত ঘোষণা কৰা। আৰু চোৱা, “দেশত তোমালোকে শিঙা বজোৱা;” আৰু ৰিঙিয়াই কোৱা, “গোট খোৱা, আহাঁ, আমি গড়েৰে আবৃত হোৱা নগৰবোৰত সোমাওঁগৈ।”
Declare ye in Judah And in Jerusalem, let it be heard, And say, Blow ye a horn in the land, —Cry, with frill voice And say, Gather yourselves together, And let us enter the defenced cities.
6 ৬ যিৰূচালেমৰ লোকসকলক চিঞঁৰি কোৱা, ‘ৰক্ষা পাবলৈ পলোৱা! পলম নকৰিবা, কিয়নো মই উত্তৰ দিশৰ পৰা তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত ভয়ানক অমঙ্গল আৰু মহাসংহাৰ আনি আছোঁ।’
Lift up an ensign—Zion-ward, Bring into safety, do not tarry, —For, calamity, am, I, bringing in from the North, Even, a great destruction:
7 ৭ এটা সিংহই নিজ গাতৰ পৰা ওলাই আন আন জন্তুবোৰক সংহাৰ কৰাৰ দৰে বহু জাতিক সংহাৰ কৰা সৈন্যই তোমালোকক আক্রমণ কৰিব। সৈন্যসকলে ইতিমধ্যে তোমালোকৰ দেশৰ অভিমুখে কুচকাৱাজ কৰি খোজ কাঢ়িবলৈ ধৰিছে। তেওঁলোকে তোমালোকৰ নগৰবোৰ ধ্বংশ কৰিব আৰু তাত থকা সকলোকে উচ্ছন্ন কৰি মানুহশূন্য কৰি এৰি থৈ যাব।
There hath come up a lion out of his thicket, Yea, a destroyer of nations—hath set forward, hath come forth out of his place, —To make thy land a desolation, Thy cities, shall fall in ruins, so as to have no inhabitant.
8 ৮ এই হেতুকে তোমালোকে কঁকালত চট বান্ধা, বুকুত ভুকুৱাই হাহাঁকাৰ কৰি ক্রন্দন কৰা আৰু দেখুউৱা যে তোমালোকে যি যি কৰিলা তাৰ বাবে তোমালোক অতি দুখিত কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ জলন্ত ক্ৰোধ আমাৰ পৰা এতিয়াও ঘূৰি যোৱা নাই।
On this account, gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl, —Because the glow of the anger of Yahweh hath not turned from us.
9 ৯ যিহোৱাই ঘোষণা কৰিছে যে, যেতিয়া তেওঁ শাস্তি দিয়ে, সেই কালত ৰজাৰ মন আৰু অধ্যক্ষসকলৰ মন ব্যাকুল হব, পুৰোহিতসকলে বিস্ময় মানিব, আৰু ভাববাদীসকল আতংকিত হ’ব।
And it shall come to pass, in that day, Declareth Yahweh, That the courage of the king shall fail, And the courage of the princes, —And the priests shall be astonished, And, the prophets, shall be amazed.
10 ১০ তেতিয়া মই উত্তৰ দি ক’লোঁ, “হায় হায়, হে মোৰ প্ৰভু যিহোৱা, স্বৰূপেই তুমি এই জাতিক আৰু যিৰূচালেমক অত্যন্ত প্ৰবঞ্চনা কৰিলা, কাৰণ তুমি কৈছিলা, ‘তোমালোকৰ শান্তি হব’ অথচ তৰোৱালে মৰ্ম ভেদিছে!”
Then said I, —Ah! My Lord Yahweh! Surely, thou hast suffered this people and Jerusalem to be beguiled, saying, Peace, shall ye have, —whereas the sword shall reach unto the soul.
11 ১১ সেই কালত এই জাতিক আৰু যিৰূচালেমক এই কথা কোৱা যাব, “ঘেহুঁৰ পৰা তুঁহ আঁতৰোৱা কোমল বতাহৰ দৰে নহয়, কিন্তু অৰণ্যত থকা গছ-শূন্য পৰ্ব্বতবোৰৰ পৰা গৰম বতাহৰ দৰে এক বৃহৎ সৈন্যৰ দলে তোমালোকক আক্রমণ কৰিব।
At that time, shall it be said of this people and of Jerusalem, —The sharp wind of the bare heights in the desert, cometh towards the daughter of my people, —not to winnow nor to cleanse.
12 ১২ সেয়ে এক প্ৰবল বা-মাৰলি মোৰ আজ্ঞাত আহিব। গতিকে এতিয়া মইও তেওঁলোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে দণ্ডাজ্ঞা প্ৰচাৰ কৰিম।”
A wind too strong for these, cometh in for me. Now, will, I also, pronounce sentences upon them:
13 ১৩ চোৱা, আমাৰ শত্রুবোৰ আমালৈ বেগেৰে আহি আছে; সি মেঘবোৰৰ দৰে উঠি আহিব; তাৰ ৰথবোৰ বা-মাৰলী বতাহস্বৰূপ; তাৰ ঘোঁৰাবোৰ কুৰৰ পক্ষীতকৈয়ো বেগী। হায় হায়, আমাৰ সৰ্ব্বনাশ! কিয়নো আমি নষ্ট হলোঁ।
Lo! like clouds, shall he come up, Even as a storm-wind, his chariots, Swifter than eagles, his horses, —Woe to us for we are laid waste!
14 ১৪ হে যিৰূচালেমৰ লোকসকল, যিহোৱাই ৰক্ষা কৰিবলৈ, তোমালোকৰ হৃদয় ধুই দুষ্টতা দূৰ কৰা। তোমালোকৰ অন্তৰত কু-ভাবনা আৰু কিমান দিন ৰাখিবা?
Wash from wickedness thy heart, O Jerusalem, That thou mayest be saved, —How long, shall lodge within thee thy wicked devices?
15 ১৫ কিয়নো দানৰ নগৰৰ পৰা ইফ্ৰয়িম পৰ্ব্বতৰ উত্তৰ ফালে অতি দুৰৈত কোনো প্ৰচাৰ কৰোঁতাৰ দ্বাৰাই অমঙ্গলৰ বাৰ্ত্তা শব্দ শুনা গৈছে।
For a voice, declareth from Dan, —And publisheth trouble from the hill country of Ephraim.
16 ১৬ ইয়াক তোমালোকে আন আন জাতিবোৰৰ আগত কোৱাগৈ আৰু যিৰূচালেমতো ঘোষণা কৰা: যিহোৱাই কৈছে, চোৱা, অৱৰোধকাৰীবোৰ যে দূৰ দেশৰ পৰা আহিব লাগিছে, আৰু যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যে তেওঁলোকে ৰণ-ধ্বনি কৰিব।
Put ye in mind the nations Lo! publish ye against Jerusalem, Blockaders! are coming in from a land afar off, —And have uttered against the cities of Judah their voice:
17 ১৭ খেতিৰ সময়ত খেতি-ৰখীয়াবোৰৰ দৰে তেওঁলোকে যিৰূচালেমৰ চাৰিওফালে অস্থায়ীভাৱে ছাউনি পাতি থাকিব। যিহোৱাই কৈছে, এইদৰেই ঘটিব, কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে মোৰ অহিতে বিদ্ৰোহ-আচৰণ কৰিলে।
As the keepers of a field, have they come against her round about, —For against me, hath she rebelled, Declareth Yahweh.
18 ১৮ তোমালোকলৈ সেই শাস্তি অতি কঠোৰ হ’ব; তোমালোকৰ কলিজাবোৰত তৰোৱালে খোচ মাৰি আঘাত কৰাৰ দৰে হ’ব। তোমালোকৰ নিজ আচৰণ আৰু কাৰ্যবোৰেই তোমালোকলৈ ইয়াক ঘটাইছে; সেয়ে তোমালোকৰ দুষ্টতাৰ ফল।
Thine own way And thine own doings, Have done these things unto thee, —This thy wickedness, Surely it is bitter, Surely it hath reached unto thy heart.
19 ১৯ হায় হায় মোৰ নাড়ী! মোৰ নাড়ী! মই অতিশয় শোক-পীড়িত হৈছোঁ; মোৰ অন্তৰত মই অতি বেদনা পাইছোঁ। মোৰ কলিজাৰ ধপধপনি অধিক হৈছে! কিন্তু মই নিৰৱে থাকিব নোৱাৰোঁ, কিয়নো যিহূদাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ আৰম্ভ যে হ’ব, শত্রুৰ শিঙাৰ শব্দ আৰু যুদ্ধৰ ধ্বনি মই শুনিলো!
My bowels! My bowels! I am pained in the walls of my heart My heart beateth aloud to me I cannot be still! For the sound of a horn, hast thou heard O my soul, The loud shout of war!
20 ২০ গোটেই দেশ উচ্ছন্ন নোহোৱালৈকে বিনাশৰ উপৰি বিনাশ হ’ব। অকস্মাতে আমাৰ তম্বুবোৰ, মুহূৰ্ত্ততে ধ্বংশ হ’ব; আনকি মোৰ তম্বুৰ কাপোৰবোৰ ফালি চিৰাচিৰ হ’ব।
Breach upon breach, they cry, For ruined, is all the land, —Suddenly, are ruined my tents, In a moment, my curtains!
21 ২১ কিমান কাল এই যুদ্ধ চলিব? কিমান কালনো শত্রুৰ এই যুদ্ধৰ নিচান দেখিম আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ ৰণশিঙাৰ শব্দ শুনিম?
How long shall I keep on seeing a standard, —continue to hear the sound of a horn?
22 ২২ যিহোৱাই কৈছে: কিয়নো মোৰ প্ৰজাসকল অজ্ঞানী! মোৰ সৈতে তেওঁলোকৰ কোনো সম্পর্ক নাই। তেওঁলোক মূৰ্খ, অজলা লৰা-ছোৱালিৰ দৰে কোনো বিষয় বুজি নাপায়। তেওঁলোক কদাচাৰত পটু, কিন্তু সদাচৰণত অজ্ঞান।
Surely, perverse, is my people Me, have they not known, Foolish sons, they are, Yea without understanding, they are: Wise, they are to commit wickedness, But how to do well, they know not!
23 ২৩ ঈশ্বৰে মোক এক দৰ্শন দিলে য’ত মই পৃথীৱীলৈ চাই দেখিলোঁ, চোৱা, সেয়ে ধ্বংস হ’ল আৰু উদং; আৰু আকাশ-মণ্ডললৈ চালোঁ, তাত কোনো দীপ্তি নাছিল।
I beheld, The earth; and lo! it was waste and wild, —The heavens also and their light was not:
I beheld, The mountains, and lo! they were trembling, —And all the hills, had been violently moved:
I beheld, And lo! there was no human being, —Yea, all the birds of the heavens! had fled:
26 ২৬ মই চাই দেখিলোঁ, ফলৱতী পথাৰবোৰ মৰুভূমি হৈ পৰিল যিবোৰ আগতে ফলৱতী বাৰী আছিল। আটাই নগৰ ভগ্ন হ’ল; সেই সকলো যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে আৰু তেওঁৰ অতি জ্বলন্ত ক্ৰোধৰ প্ৰভাৱত ধ্বংশ কৰা হ’ল।
I beheld, And lo! the garden-land, was a desert, —And, all its cities, had been broken down, Because of Yahweh, Because of the glow of his anger!
For, thus, saith Yahweh, A desolation, shall all the land become—Nevertheless a full end, will I not make.
28 ২৮ এই হেতুকে মই যি ক’লো, মোৰ লোকসকললৈ এইদৰেই কৰিম, আৰু মোৰ মন মই সলনি নকৰিম। গতিকে যেতিয়া এইবোৰ ঘটিব, পৃথিৱীয়ে শোক কৰা যেন হ’ব আৰু ওপৰত থকা আকাশ-মণ্ডল অন্ধকাৰময় যেন হ’ব।”
For this cause, shall the land mourn, and the heavens above be overcast: Because I have spoken have purposed, and have not repented nor will I turn back therefrom.
29 ২৯ অশ্বাৰোহী আৰু ধনুৰ্দ্ধসকলৰ শব্দত নগৰখনেই পলাব। কোনো কোনোৱে ডাঠ হাবিত সোমাব, আৰু কোনো কোনোৱে শত্রুৰ হাতত নিহত হোৱাৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা পাবলৈ শিলত উঠিব। যিহূদাৰ গোটেই নগৰ ত্যাগ কৰা হ’ব; তাৰ মাজত বাস কৰোঁতা মানুহ কোনো নাথাকিব।
At the noise of horseman and archer, The whole city is in flight, They have entered dark thickets, Yea unto the crags, have they gone up, —Every city, is forsaken, There remaineth not in them a man!
30 ৩০ এতেকে তোমালোক নিশ্চয়ে ধ্বংশ হ’বা, হে বিনষ্টা, তেতিয়া তোমালোকে কি কৰিবা? যদিও তুমি কাপোৰ পিন্ধা, সোণৰ অলঙ্কাৰেৰে নিজকে ভুষিত কৰা আৰু কাজলেৰে চকু দুটা ডাঙৰ কৰা, তথাপিও তুমি নিজকে সুন্দৰী কৰা বৃথা; উপপতিবোৰে তোমাক ঘৃণাব, তেওঁলোকে তোমাৰ প্ৰাণ নষ্ট কৰিবলৈ বিচাৰিব।
And when, thou, art laid waste, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothe thyself with crimson Though thou deck thyself with ornaments of gold Though thou enlarge with antimony thine eyes, In vain, shalt thou make thyself fair, —Paramours have rejected thee, Thy life, will they seek!
31 ৩১ কিয়নো মই ইতিমধ্যেই যিৰূচালেমৰ লোকসকলৰ মাত শুনিবলৈ পালোঁ যেন এগৰাকি প্ৰসৱকাৰিণী স্ত্রীৰ কান্দোন, প্ৰথম লৰা ওপজোৱা জনীৰ বেদনাৰ শব্দ যেন শুনিছোঁ; কোনোজনৰ পৰা সহায় পাবলৈ কান্দি কান্দি কাতৰোক্তি কৰি কোৱাৰ দৰেহে যেন কৈছে, “মোৰ সৰ্ব্বনাশ! কিয়নো বধকাৰীবোৰৰ আগত মোৰ প্ৰাণ অচেতন হৈছে,” এই বুলি কৈ দীঘল নিশ্বাস পেলোৱা; হাত বিস্তাৰ কৰা চিয়োন জীয়াৰীৰ শব্দ শুনিছোঁ!”
For a voice as of a woman in pangs, have I heard Anguish as of her that is bearing her firstborn. The voice of the daughter of Zion! She gaspeth for breath, She spreadeth forth her palms, —Surely woe to me! For my soul fainteth before murderers.
