1 ১ পাছত যিৰূচালেম শত্রুৰ হাতত পৰা সময়ত, যিহূদাৰ ৰজা চিদিকিয়াৰ ৰাজত্বৰ নৱম বছৰৰ দশম মাহত বাবিলৰ ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো সৈন্য-সামন্তই যিৰূচালেমৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আহি তাক অৱৰোধ কৰিলে।
In the ninth yeere of Zedekiah King of Iudah in the tenth moneth, came Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel and all his hoste against Ierusalem, and they besieged it.
And in the eleuenth yeere of Zedekiah in the fourth moneth, the ninth day of the moneth, the citie was broken vp.
3 ৩ বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ আটাই প্ৰধান লোকসকল, অৰ্থাৎ নেৰ্গল-চৰেচৰ, চমগৰ-নবো, প্ৰধান নপুংসক চৰ্চখীম আৰু প্ৰধান গণক নেৰ্গল-চৰেচৰ আদি বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ আটাই প্ৰধান লোকসকল সোমাই মধ্যম দুৱাৰত বহিল।
And all the princes of the King of Babel came in, and sate in the middle gate, euen Neregal, Sharezer, Samgar-nebo, Sarsechim, Rab-saris, Neregal, Sharezer, Rab-mag with all the residue of the princes of the King of Babel.
4 ৪ পাছত যেতিয়া যিহূদাৰ ৰজা চিদিকিয়া আৰু সকলো যুদ্ধাৰু লোকে তেওঁলোকক সোমোৱা গম পালে, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোক পলাই ৰজাৰ উদ্যানৰ বাটেদি, দুই গড়ৰ মাজত থকা দুৱাৰেদি নগৰৰ বাহিৰলৈ ৰাতিয়েই ওলাই গ’ল; আৰু ৰজাই অৰাবাৰ বাটেদি ওলাই গ’ল।
And when Zedekiah the King of Iudah saw them, and all the men of warre, then they fled, and went out of the citie by night, through the Kings garden, and by the gate betweene the two walles, and he went toward the wildernes.
5 ৫ কিন্তু কলদীয়াসকলৰ সৈন্য-সামন্তই তেওঁলোকৰ পাছত খেদি গৈ যিৰীহোৰ সমথলত চিদিকিয়াক লগ পাই, তেওঁক ধৰি হমাৎ দেশৰ ৰিব্লালৈ বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ নবূখদনেচৰৰ গুৰিলৈ নিলে; আৰু তেওঁ তেওঁলৈ দণ্ডাজ্ঞা কৰিলে।
But the Caldeans hoste pursued after them, and ouertooke Zedekiah in the desart of Iericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him to Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel vnto Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gaue iudgement vpon him.
6 ৬ পাছে বাবিলৰ ৰজাই ৰিব্লাত চিদিকিয়াৰ পুতেকসকলক তেওঁৰ চকুৰ আগতে বধ কৰিলে আৰু বাবিলৰ ৰজাই যিহূদাৰ সকলো মুখ্য লোককো বধ কৰিলে।
Then the King of Babel slewe the sonnes of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the King of Babel slewe all the nobles of Iudah.
Moreouer he put out Zedekiahs eyes, and bound him in chaines, to cary him to Babel.
And the Caldeans burnt the Kings house, and the houses of the people with fire, and brake downe the walles of Ierusalem.
9 ৯ এই সময়ত নবুজৰদান ৰক্ষক-সেনাপতিয়ে নগৰৰ বাকী থকা লোকসকলক, তেওঁৰ ফলীয়া হবলৈ পলাই যোৱাসকলক আৰু আন আন অৱশিষ্ট লোকসকলক বন্দী কৰি বাবিললৈ লৈ গ’ল।
Then Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde caried away captiue into Babel the remnant of the people, that remained in the citie, and those that were fled and fallen vnto him, with the rest of the people that remained.
10 ১০ কিন্তু নবুজৰদান ৰক্ষক-সেনাপতিয়ে কেতবোৰ একো নথকা দৰিদ্ৰ লোকক যিহূদা দেশত অৱশিষ্ট ৰাখিলে, আৰু সেই কালত তেওঁলোকক দ্ৰাক্ষাবাৰী আৰু মাটি দান কৰিলে।
But Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward left the poore that had nothing in the land of Iudah, and gaue them vineyards and fieldes at the same time.
Nowe Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel gaue charge concerning Ieremiah vnto Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde, saying,
12 ১২ “তুমি তেওঁক গ্ৰহণ কৰি তেওঁলৈ কৃপা দৃষ্টি কৰিবা, তেওঁৰ কোনো অপকাৰ নকৰিবা; কিন্তু তেওঁ তোমাক যেনেকৈ ক’ব, তেওঁলৈ তেনেকৈ কৰিবা।”
Take him, and looke well to him, and doe him no harme, but doe vnto him euen as he shall say vnto thee.
13 ১৩ এই হেতুকে নবুজৰদান ৰক্ষক-সেনাপতি, প্ৰধান নপুংসক নবুচৰ্জবান আৰু প্ৰধান গণক নেৰ্গল-চৰেচৰ আদি বাবিলৰ ৰজাৰ আটাই প্ৰধান বিষয়াসকলে মানুহ পঠিয়াই প্ৰহৰীৰ চোতালৰ পৰা যিৰিমিয়াক আনিলে।
So Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward sent, and Nebushazban, Rabsaris, and Neregal, Sharezar, Rab-mag, and all the King of Babels princes:
14 ১৪ আৰু তেওঁক ঘৰলৈ লৈ যাবৰ কাৰণে চাফনৰ নাতিয়েক অহীকামৰ পুত্ৰ গদলিয়াৰ হাতত গটাই দিলে; আৰু তেওঁ লোকসকলৰ মাজত বাস কৰিলে।
Euen they sent, and tooke Ieremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him vnto Gedaliah the sonne of Ahikam the sonne of Shaphan, that he should cary him home: so he dwelt among the people.
Now the worde of the Lord came vnto Ieremiah, while he was shut vp in the court of the prison, saying,
16 ১৬ “তুমি গৈ কুচীয়া এবদ-মেলকক কোৱা, ‘ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, মঙ্গলৰ কাৰণে নহয়, অমঙ্গলৰ কাৰণেহে মই এই নগৰলৈ মোৰ বাক্য ফলিওৱাম। সেই দিনা তোমাৰ আগত সেইবোৰ ফলিয়াব।
Go and speake to Ebed-melech the blacke More, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Beholde, I wil bring my wordes vpon this citie for euill, and not for good, and they shalbe accomplished in that day before thee.
17 ১৭ কিন্তু যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “সেই দিনা মই তোমাক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিম; আৰু তুমি ভয় কৰা লোকসকলৰ হাতত তোমাক সমৰ্পণ কৰা নহ’ব।
But I wil deliuer thee in that day, saith the Lord, and thou shalt not be giuen into the hand of the men whome thou fearest.
18 ১৮ কিয়নো মই তোমাক অৱশ্যে উদ্ধাৰ কৰিম। তুমি তৰোৱালত পতিত নহবা। কিন্তু তুমি তোমাৰ নিজ প্ৰাণ লুটদ্ৰব্যৰ নিচিনাকৈ লাভ কৰিবা; কাৰণ, যিহোৱাই কৈছে: তুমি মোক বিশ্বাস কৰিলা।”
For I will surely deliuer thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sworde, but thy life shall be for a praye vnto thee, because thou hast put thy trust in me, sayth the Lord.
