Yet now hear, O Jacob My servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen;
2 ২ যিজনাই তোমাক নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিলে, আৰু তোমাক গৰ্ভত গঠন কৰিলে, যিজনাই তোমাক সহায় কৰিব, সেই যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, “হে মোৰ দাস যাকোব, আৰু মই মনোনীত কৰা যিচুৰূণ, ভয় নকৰিবা।”
Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob My servant, and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
3 ৩ কাৰণ মই তৃষ্ণাতুৰ ভূমিৰ ওপৰত পানী বৰষাম, আৰু খৰাং ঠাইৰ ওপৰত নদী বোৱাম; মই তোমাৰ বংশৰ ওপৰত নিজ আত্মা, তোমাৰ সন্তানৰ ওপৰত নিজৰ আশীৰ্ব্বাদ বাকি দিম।
For I will pour water upon the thirsty land, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour My spirit upon thy seed, and My blessing upon thine offspring;
And they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.
5 ৫ এজনে ক’ব, মই যিহোৱাৰেই, আনজনে নিজকে যাকোবৰ বুলি ক’ব, আৰু আন এজনে ‘মই যিহোৱাৰ হ’য়’এই বুলি নিজৰ হাতত লিখিব, আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ নামেৰে জনাজাত হ’ব।”
One shall say: 'I am the LORD'S'; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
6 ৬ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাক, তেওঁৰ মুক্তিকৰ্ত্তা, বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই দৰে কৈছে; “ময়েই আদি, আৰু ময়েই অন্ত; মোৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনো ঈশ্বৰ নাই।
Thus saith the LORD, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer the LORD of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside Me there is no God.
7 ৭ মোৰ দৰে কোন হ’য়? তেওঁক এই বিষয়ে বর্ণনা কৰি মোক ক’ব দিয়া মোৰ প্রাচীন কালৰ লোকসকলক মই প্রতিষ্ঠা কৰাৰে পৰা, সেই বিষয়বোৰ ঘটি আহিছে, আৰু আহিবলগীয়া ঘটনাৰ কথা তেওঁলোকক ঘোষনা কৰিব দিয়া।
And who, as I, can proclaim — let him declare it, and set it in order for Me — since I appointed the ancient people? And the things that are coming, and that shall come to pass, let them declare.
8 ৮ তোমালোকে ভয় নকৰিবা বা ভয়াতুৰ নহবা। মই জানো পূৰ্বৰে পৰা তোমালোকৰ আগত এই বিষয়ে প্রকাশ আৰু ঘোষনা কৰা নাই? তোমালোকেই মোৰ সাক্ষী: মোৰ বাহিৰে জানো আন কোনো ঈশ্বৰ আছে? আন কোনো শিলা নাই; মই আন কাকো নাজানো।”
Fear ye not, neither be afraid; have I not announced unto thee of old, and declared it? And ye are My witnesses. Is there a God beside Me? Yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.
9 ৯ কটা-মূৰ্ত্তি সাজোঁতাবোৰ সকলোৱে অসাৰ; তেওঁলোকে আনন্দ কৰা বিষয়বোৰ মূল্যহীন; তেওঁলোকৰ সাক্ষীবোৰে একো নেদেখে বা নাজানে, আৰু সেয়ে তেওঁলোকক লাজত পৰিব।
They that fashion a graven image are all of them vanity, and their delectable things shall not profit; and their own witnesses see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
Who hath fashioned a god, or molten an image that is profitable for nothing?
11 ১১ চোৱা, তেওঁৰ সকলো সহযোগী সকল লাজত পৰিব; শিল্পকাৰসকল কেৱল মানুহ মাথোন। তেওঁলোকক একেলগহৈ থিৰে থাকিব দিয়া; তেওঁলোক কাপুৰুষ আৰু তেওঁলোকে লাজ পাব।
Behold, all the fellows thereof shall be ashamed; and the craftsmen skilled above men; let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; they shall fear, they shall be ashamed together.
12 ১২ কমাৰে তেওঁৰ সজুলিৰে সৈতে কাম কৰে, তেওঁ লোহাৰ অস্ত্ৰ আঙঠাৰ ওপৰত দি নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰে। তেওঁ হাতুৰীৰে তাক গঢ় দিয়ে, আৰু নিজৰ বলবান হাতেৰে তাক বনায়। তেওঁ ভোকাতুৰ হয়, আৰু তেওঁৰ বল হ্রাস পায়, তেওঁ পানী নাখায় আৰু মূৰ্ছা যায়।
The smith maketh an axe, and worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with his strong arm; yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth; he drinketh no water, and is faint.
13 ১৩ বাঢ়ৈয়ে কাঠ ৰেখা টানি ৰঙা জোখে, আৰু লিখনিৰে সৈতে তাত চিন দিয়ে। তেওঁ কম্পাচেৰে সৈতে চিন দি সজুলিৰে সৈতে তাক গঢ় দিয়ে, তেওঁ আকৰ্ষণীয় মানুহৰ আকৃতিৰে তাক গঢ় দিয়ে, যাতে তাক মন্দিৰত থ’ব পাৰে।
The carpenter stretcheth out a line; he marketh it out with a pencil; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compasses, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man, to dwell in the house.
14 ১৪ তেওঁ এৰচ গছ কাটে; বা তেওঁ দেবদাৰু (চাইপ্ৰাচ) আৰু ওক গছ বাছি লয়; সি অৰণ্যৰ পৰা গছবোৰ নিজৰ বাবে লয়। ফাৰ গছ ৰোৱে, আৰু বৰষুণে তাক বৃদ্ধি কৰে।
He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the ilex and the oak, and strengtheneth for himself one among the trees of the forest; he planteth a bay-tree, and the rain doth nourish it.
15 ১৫ তাৰ পাছত মানুহে তাক জুইৰ বাবে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰে, আৰু নিজে শেক লয়। হয়, তেওঁ জুই জ্বলায়; আৰু তাত পিঠা শেকে। তেওঁ তাৰে এটা দেৱতা নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰি তাৰ আগত প্রণিপাত কৰে, আৰু তেওঁ এটা মূৰ্ত্তি সাজি তাৰ আগত প্ৰণিপাত কৰে।
Then a man useth it for fuel; and he taketh thereof, and warmeth himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
16 ১৬ তেওঁ জুইৰ বাবে সেই কাঠৰ এভাগ পোৰে, তাৰ ওপৰত মঙহ পোৰে। তেওঁ তাক ভোজন কৰি তৃপ্ত হয়। তেওঁ নিজকে প্রাণবন্ত কৰি ক’য়, ও মই প্রাণবন্ত হৈছোঁ, মই জুই দেখিছোঁ।”
He burneth the half thereof in the fire; with the half thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied; yea, he warmeth himself, and saith: 'Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire';
17 ১৭ তাৰ অৱশিষ্ট কাঠেৰে তেওঁ এক দেৱতা নিৰ্মাণ কৰিলে, তেওঁ তাৰ আগত প্ৰণিপাত কৰে, আৰু তাক সন্মান কৰে, আৰু তাৰ আগত প্ৰশংসা কৰি কয়, “মোক উদ্ধাৰ কৰা; কাৰণ তুমি মোৰ দেৱতা।”
And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image; he falleth down unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith: 'Deliver me, for thou art my god.'
18 ১৮ তেওঁলোকে নাজানে, আৰু তেওঁলোকে নুবুজে; কাৰণ তেওঁলোক চকু অন্ধ আৰু দেখা নাপায়, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ হৃদয় অনুভব নকৰে।
They know not, neither do they understand; for their eyes are bedaubed, that they cannot see, and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
19 ১৯ কোনো এজনে নাভাৱে নাইবা তেওঁলোকে হৃদয়ঙ্গম নকৰে আৰু ক’য়, মই সেই কাঠৰ এটা অংশ জুইত পুৰিলোঁ, হয়, তাৰ আঙঠাৰ ওপৰত মই পিঠা শেকিলোঁ, আৰু মই তাৰ আঙঠাৰ ওপৰত মাংস খৰিকাত দি খালোঁ। এতিয়া তাৰ অৱশিষ্ট ভাগেৰে সেৱা কৰিবলৈ মই কিবা এটা ঘিণলগীয়া বস্তু সাজিম নে? কাঠডোখৰৰ আগত মই প্ৰণিপাত কৰিম নে?”
And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say: 'I have burned the half of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh and eaten it; and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? Shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?'
20 ২০ এইটো তেওঁ ছাঁই ভোজন কৰাৰ দৰে; তেওঁক প্রবঞ্চক হৃদয়ে বিপথে নিয়ে। তেওঁ নিজৰ প্ৰাণক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিব নোৱাৰে, নাইবা তেওঁ ক’য়, “মোৰ সোঁ হাতে থকা এই বস্তু অনর্থক দেৱতা।”
He striveth after ashes, a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say: 'Is there not a lie in my right hand?'
21 ২১ হে যাকোব, আৰু ইস্ৰায়েল, এই বিষয়ে চিন্তা কৰা; কাৰণ তুমি মোৰ দাস: মই তোমাক নিৰ্মাণ কৰিলোঁ; তুমি মোৰ দাস; হে ইস্ৰায়েল মই তোমাক নাপাহৰিম।
Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for thou art My servant; I have formed thee, thou art Mine own servant; O Israel, thou shouldest not forget Me.
22 ২২ তোমাৰ ঘন মেঘৰ দৰে অপৰাধবোৰ, আৰু তোমাৰ মেঘৰ দৰে পাপবোৰ মচি পেলাম; তুমি মোলৈ ঘূৰি আহাঁ, কিয়নো মই তোমাক মুক্ত কৰিলোঁ।
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins; return unto Me, for I have redeemed thee.
23 ২৩ হে আকাশ মণ্ডল গান কৰা, কাৰণ যিহোৱাই এই কাৰ্য সিদ্ধ কৰিলে; হে পৃথিবীৰ অধঃস্থান, জয়ধ্বনি কৰা; হে পৰ্বতবোৰ, হে অৰণ্য আৰু তাৰ মাজত থকা সকলো গছ, আনন্দ গান কৰি উৎফলিত হোৱা; কিয়নো যিহোৱাই যাকোবক মুক্ত কৰিলে, আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত নিজৰ গৌৰৱ প্রকাশ কৰিব।
Sing, O ye heavens, for the LORD hath done it; shout, ye lowest parts of the earth; break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein; for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and doth glorify Himself in Israel.
24 ২৪ তোমাৰ মুক্তিদাতা, আৰু তোমাক গৰ্ভত গঠন কৰা যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, “মইয়ে যিহোৱা যি সকলো সৃষ্টি কৰিলে, যি জনাই অকলেই আকাশ মণ্ডল বিস্তাৰ কৰিলে, আৰু যি জনাই অকলেই পৃথিৱী সজালে,
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, and He that formed thee from the womb: I am the LORD, that maketh all things; that stretched forth the heavens alone; that spread abroad the earth by Myself;
25 ২৫ যি জনাই অনৰ্থক কথা কোৱাসকলৰ লক্ষণবোৰ ব্যৰ্থ কৰে, মঙ্গলতীবোৰক বলীয়া কৰে, আৰু যি সকলে মঙ্গল চাই তেওঁলোকক অপমান কৰে, আৰু মই সেই জন যি জনে জ্ঞানীসকলৰ প্রজ্ঞা বিপৰ্যস্থ কৰে, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ পৰামৰ্শ মুৰ্খতালৈ ৰূপান্তৰিত কৰে।
That frustrateth the tokens of the imposters, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
26 ২৬ মইয়ে যিহোৱা যি জনে নিজৰ দাসৰ কথা সিদ্ধ কৰে, আৰু নিজৰ দূতৰ পৰামৰ্শ সিদ্ধ কৰে, যি জনাই যিৰূচালেমৰ বিষয়ে কয়, ‘সেয়ে বসতিৰ ঠাই নহ’ব,’ আৰু যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰৰ বিষয়ে কয়, ‘সেইবোৰ পুনৰ নিৰ্মাণ কৰা হ’ব, আৰু তাৰ বিধস্ত হোৱা ঠাইবোৰ পুনৰ স্থাপন কৰিম,
That confirmeth the word of His servant, and performeth the counsel of His messengers; that saith of Jerusalem: 'She shall be inhabited'; and of the cities of Judah: 'They shall be built, and I will raise up the waste places thereof';
That saith to the deep: 'Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers';
28 ২৮ যি জনাই কোৰচৰ বিষয়ে কয়, ‘তেওঁ মোৰ মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়া, আৰু মোৰ সকলো বাঞ্ছা সিদ্ধ কৰিব,’ তেওঁ যিৰূচালেমৰ বিষয়েও কয়, ‘তাক পুনৰ নিৰ্মাণ কৰা হওক,’ আৰু মন্দিৰৰ বিষয়ে কয়, ‘তোমাৰ ভিত্তিমূল স্থাপন কৰা হওক’,”
That saith of Cyrus: 'He is My shepherd, and shall perform all My pleasure'; even saying of Jerusalem: 'She shall be built'; and to the temple: 'My foundation shall be laid.'
