1 ১ সাগৰৰ তীৰৰ মৰুভূমিৰ বিষয়ে কৰা ঘোষণা। দক্ষিণ অঞ্চলত বা’মৰলী বতাহ বেগেৰে চলাৰ দৰে, এখন ভয়ানক দেশৰ পৰা আৰু অৰণ্যৰ পৰা পাৰ হৈ আছে।
The oracle of the wilderness of the sea. As whirlwinds in the Negev sweep through, it comes from the wilderness, from an awesome land.
2 ২ এটি বেদনাদায়ক দৰ্শন মোক দেখুৱা হৈছে; বিশ্বাসঘাতকে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা আচৰণ কৰে, আৰু বিনাশকাৰীয়ে বিনাশ কৰে। হে এলম, উঠি যোৱা, আৰু আক্রমণ কৰা; হে মাদিয়া, অবৰোধ কৰা; মই তেওঁৰ সকলো ক্রন্দন শান্ত কৰিলোঁ।

3 ৩ এই কাৰণে মোৰ কঁকাল বেদনাৰে পূৰ হৈছে; প্ৰসৱ কৰিব লোৱা মহিলাৰ বেদনাৰ দৰে বেদনা মোৰ হৈছে; মই যি শুনিলো তাৰ দ্বাৰাই মোৰ আঁঠু কুচ গৈছে; আৰু যি দেখিলোঁ তাৰ দ্বাৰাই মোৰ শান্তিভঙ্গ হৈছে,
Therefore my thighs are filled with anguish. Pains have taken hold on me, like the pains of a woman in labor. I am in so much pain that I can't hear. I so am dismayed that I can't see.
4 ৪ মোৰ হৃদয় চূৰ্ণ হৈছে; কম্পমানে মোক অতিক্রম কৰিছে; সেই নিশা মই যি ইচ্ছা কৰি আছিলোঁ, সেইয়া মোক কম্পমান কৰিবলৈ ঘূৰি আহিছিল।
My heart flutters. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling for me.
5 ৫ তেওঁলোকে মেজ যুগুত কৰিছিল, আৰু ভোজন পান কৰিবলৈ মেজত কাপোৰ পাৰিছিল; হে সেনাপতিসকল উঠা, ঢালত তেল ঘঁহা।
They prepare the table. They set the watch. They eat. They drink. Rise up, you princes, oil the shield.
6 ৬ কিয়নো প্ৰভুৱে মোক এই দৰে কৈছে, “যোৱা, এজন প্রহৰী নিযুক্ত কৰা; তেওঁ যি দেখিব, সেই বিষয়ে নিশ্চয় তেওঁ সংবাদ দিব।
For the LORD said to me, "Go, set a watchman. Let him declare what he sees.
7 ৭ যেতিয়া তেওঁ অশ্বাৰোহীৰ সৈতে এটা ৰথক দেখিব, আৰু গাধ, উটবোৰত আৰোহী দেখিব, তেতিয়া তেওঁ মনোযোগ দিব লাগিব আৰু অতি সচেতন হ’ব লাগিব।”
When he sees chariots, horsemen in pairs, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, let him listen diligently, very diligently."
8 ৮ সেই প্রহৰীজনে ৰিঙিয়াই ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, মই প্রতিদিনে প্ৰহৰী স্তম্ভত দিনটো থিয় হৈ থাকো, আৰু ওৰে ৰাতি পৰ দিয়া ঠাইত মই থিয় হৈ থাকো।”
Then the lookout shouted: "Lord, I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime, and every night I stay at my post.
9 ৯ ৰথচালকৰ সৈতে সৈন্য, আৰু যোৰকৈ অশ্বাৰোহী ইয়ালৈ আহিছে। তেওঁ চিঞৰী ক’লে, “বাবিল পতিত হ’ল; আৰু দেৱতাবোৰৰ সকলো মূৰ্ত্তিবোৰ ভাঙি মাটিত পৰিছে।”

10 ১০ হে মোৰ মৰণা মৰা আৰু পৰিষ্কাৰ জন, হে মোৰ মৰণা মৰা ঠাইৰ সন্তান, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ আৰু বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা মই যি শুনিলোঁ, সেই কথা মই তোমালোকক ঘোষণা কৰিলোঁ।
You are my threshing, and the grain of my floor." That which I have heard from the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, I have declared to you.
11 ১১ দুমাৰ বিষয়ে ঘোষণা। চেয়ীৰৰ পৰা এজনে মোক মাতি কৈছে, “হে প্ৰহৰী, ৰাতিৰ কিমান ভাগ গ’ল? হে প্ৰহৰী, ৰাতিৰ কিমান ভাগ গ’ল?”

12 ১২ প্ৰহৰীয়ে উত্তৰ দিলে, “ৰাতিপুৱা হৈছে, আৰু ৰাতিও আহিছে; যদি আপুনি সুধিব, সোধক; আৰু তাৰ পাছত পুনৰ ঘূৰি আহক।”
The watchman said, "The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire. Come back again."

15 ১৫ কিয়নো তেওঁলোক তৰোৱাল, খোলা তৰোৱালৰ পৰা পলাই অহা, ভিৰোৱা ধেনু, আৰু কষ্টদায়ক যুদ্ধৰ পৰা পলাইছে।
For they fled away from the swords, from the drawn sword, from the bent bow, and from the heat of battle.

17 ১৭ আৰু কেদৰৰ বংশৰ বীৰ পুৰুষ ধনুৰ্দ্ধৰসকলৰ অৱশিষ্ট সংখ্যা তাকৰ হ’ব;” কিয়নো ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে।
and the residue of the number of the archers, the warriors of the people of Kedar, will be few; for the LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken it."
