হোসেয়া 14
Return, O Israel, to the Lord thy God; for the people have fallen through thine iniquities.
2 ২ মন পালটনৰ বাক্য লগত লোৱা আৰু যিহোৱালৈ ঘূৰি তেওঁক কোৱা, “আমাৰ সকলো পাপ-অপৰাধ দূৰ কৰক আৰু আমাৰ যি উত্তম, তাক গ্ৰহণ কৰক; যাতে আমি আমাৰ ওঁঠেৰে আপোনাৰ প্রশংসা কৰিব পাৰোঁ।
Take with you words, and turn to the Lord your God: speak to him, that ye may not receive [the reward of] unrighteousness, but that ye may receive good things: and we will render in return the fruit of our lips.
3 ৩ অচূৰীয়াই আমাক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিব নোৱাৰিব; ঘোঁৰাৰ ওপৰত ভাৰসা কৰি আমি যুদ্ধ নকৰিম। আমাৰ হাতেৰে নির্মাণ কৰা মূর্তিক আমি পুনৰ ‘তুমি আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ’ বুলি কেতিয়াও নকম; কিয়নো আপোনাৰ ওচৰতে অনাথজনে দয়া বিচাৰি পায়।”
Assur shall never save us; we will not mount on horseback; we will no longer say to the works of our hands, Our gods. He who is in thee shall pity the orphan.
4 ৪ যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “তেওঁলোকক বিপথে যোৱাৰ পৰা মই ঘূৰাই আনি সুস্থ কৰিম, মই বিনা চর্তেই তেওঁলোকক প্ৰেম কৰিম; কিয়নো মোৰ ক্ৰোধ তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰৰ পৰা আঁতৰি গ’ল।
I will restore their dwellings, I will love them truly: for he has turned away my wrath from him.
5 ৫ মই ইস্ৰায়েললৈ নিয়ৰৰ নিচিনা হম; তেওঁ লিলি ফুলৰ নিচিনাকৈ ফুলিব, লিবানোনৰ এৰচ গছৰ নিচিনাকৈ তেওঁৰ শিপা নামি যাব।
I will be as dew to Israel: he shall bloom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Libanus.
6 ৬ তেওঁৰ ডালবোৰ বিস্তাৰিত হৈ বাঢ়ি যাব; জিত গছৰ নিচিনা তেওঁৰ সৌন্দর্য হ’ব; তেওঁৰ সুগন্ধ লিবানোনৰ এৰচ গছৰ নিচিনা হ’ব।
His branches shall spread, and he shall be as a fruitful olive, and his smell shall be as [the smell] of Libanus.
7 ৭ তেওঁলোকে পুনৰায় মোৰ ছাঁত বাস কৰিবলৈ আহিব; তেওঁলোক প্রচুৰ শস্যৰে পুনৰ্জীৱিত হ’ব, আৰু দ্ৰাক্ষালতাৰ নিচিনাকৈ ফুলিব; লিবানোনৰ দ্ৰাক্ষাৰসৰ নিচিনাকৈ তেওঁলোকৰ সুখ্যাতি হ’ব।
They shall return, and dwell under his shadow: they shall live and be satisfied with corn, and he shall flower as a vine: his memorial shall be to Ephraim as the wine of Libanus.
8 ৮ ইফ্ৰয়িমে ক’ব, ‘মূর্তিবোৰৰ লগত মোৰ পুনৰ কি সম্পৰ্ক?’ মইয়ে তোমাক উত্তৰ দিম আৰু তেওঁৰ যত্ন ল’ম। মই এক কেঁচাপতীয়া দেৱদাৰু গছৰ নিচিনা; তোমাৰ বিশ্বস্ততাৰ ফল মোৰ কাষৰ পৰাই আহে।”
What [has] he to do any more with idols? I have afflicted him, and I will strengthen him: I am as a leafy juniper tree. From me is thy fruit found.
9 ৯ জ্ঞানৱানজনে এইবোৰ কথা বুজে; বিবেচকজনে এইবোৰ কথা জানে; কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ পথবোৰ সততাৰ পথ আৰু ধাৰ্মিকজনে সেই পথত গমন কৰে, কিন্তু অধাৰ্মিকজনে হ’লে সেইবোৰত উজুটি খায়।
Who is wise, and will understand these things? or prudent, and will know them? for the ways of the Lord are straight, and the righteous shall walk in them: but the ungodly shall fall therein.
