হোসেয়া 12
1 ১ ইফ্ৰয়িমে বতাহ খায়; তেওঁ গোটেইদিনটো পূবৰ বতাহৰ পাছত খেদি যায়; তেওঁ মিছা কথা আৰু অত্যাচাৰ বৃদ্ধি কৰে; তেওঁ অচূৰীয়াৰ সৈতে সন্ধি কৰে আৰু মিচৰলৈ তেল পঠায়।
Ephraim striveth after wind, and followeth after the east wind; all the day he multiplieth lies and desolation; and they make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried into Egypt.
2 ২ যিহূদাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যিহোৱাৰ এটা গোচৰ আছে; তেওঁ যাকোবক তেওঁৰ আচৰণ অনুসাৰে দণ্ড দিব আৰু তেওঁৰ কাৰ্য অনুসাৰে প্ৰতিফল দিব।
The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways, according to his doings will He recompense him.
3 ৩ গৰ্ভৰ ভিতৰত যাকোবে তেওঁৰ ককায়েকৰ গোৰোহাত ধৰিছিল; বয়সত নিজ শক্তিৰে তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিছিল।
In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and by his strength he strove with a godlike being;
4 ৪ তেওঁ দূতৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰি জয়ী হৈছিল; তেওঁ দয়া বিচাৰি সেই দূতৰ ওচৰত কান্দিছিল আৰু মিনতি কৰিছিল; তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰক বৈৎএলত লগ পাইছিল; সেই ঠাইতে ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁৰ সৈতে কথা পাতিছিল।
So he strove with an angel, and prevailed; he wept, and made supplication unto him; at Beth-el he would find him, and there he would speak with us;
But the LORD, the God of hosts, the LORD is His name.
6 ৬ এতিয়া হে যাকোবৰ বংশ, তোমালোক তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰলৈ ঘূৰি আহাঁ। প্রেম আৰু ন্যায়বিচাৰ ধৰি ৰাখা আৰু সদায় তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ অপেক্ষাত থাকা।
Therefore turn thou to thy God; keep mercy and justice, and wait for thy God continually.
7 ৭ যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “ইফ্রয়িম ব্যৱসায়ী; তেওঁৰ হাতত প্ৰবঞ্চনাৰ পাল্লা আছে; তেওঁ অত্যাচাৰ কৰিবলৈ ভাল পায়।
As for the trafficker, the balances of deceit are in his hand. He loveth to oppress.
8 ৮ ইফ্ৰয়িমে কয়, ‘নিশ্চয়ে মই চহকী হলোঁ, নিজৰ কাৰণে মই ধন-সম্পদ গোটালোঁ; মোৰ সকলো পৰিশ্ৰমত, লোকে মোৰ কোনো দোষ বা পাপ বিচাৰি নাপাব।’
And Ephraim said: 'Surely I am become rich, I have found me wealth; in all my labours they shall find in me no iniquity that were sin.'
9 ৯ কিন্তু হে ইফ্রয়িম, ময়েই তোমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা। মই মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰাই তোমাৰ লগত আছোঁ। তোমাৰ পৰ্ব্বৰ দিনৰ নিচিনাকৈ মই পুনৰায় তোমাক তম্বুত বাস কৰাম।
But I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt; I will yet again make thee to dwell in tents, as in the days of the appointed season.
I have also spoken unto the prophets, and I have multiplied visions; and by the ministry of the prophets have I used similitudes.
11 ১১ গিলিয়দ অপৰাধেৰে পূর্ণ। তাৰ লোকসকল অপদার্থ। গিলগলত লোকসকলে বলধ উৎসর্গ কৰে; তেওঁলোকৰ যজ্ঞ-বেদীবোৰ পথাৰৰ মাটিত থকা শিলৰ দ’মৰ নিচিনা হ’ব।
If Gilead be given to iniquity becoming altogether vanity, in Gilgal they sacrifice unto bullocks; yea, their altars shall be as heaps in the furrows of the field.
12 ১২ যাকোব অৰাম দেশলৈ পলাই গৈছিল; ভার্য্যা পাবৰ কাৰণে ইস্ৰায়েলে মজুৰিৰ কার্যৰ লগতে মেৰ-ছাগ চৰোৱাৰ কার্য কৰিছিল।
And Jacob fled into the field of Aram, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.
13 ১৩ যিহোৱাই এজন ভাববাদীৰ দ্বাৰাই মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা ইস্ৰায়েলক আনিছিল; এজন ভাৱবাদীৰ দ্বাৰাই তেওঁ প্ৰতিপালিত হৈছিল।
And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel up out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he kept.
14 ১৪ কিন্তু ইফ্ৰয়িমে যিহোৱাক অতিশয় বেজাৰ দিলে; সেয়ে তেওঁৰ প্রভুৱে তেওঁ কৰা ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষৰ কাৰণে তেওঁকেই দোষী কৰিব; তেওঁ যি অপমানৰ কার্য কৰিছে, সেই অপমান প্রভুৱে তেওঁকে ঘূৰাই দিব।
Ephraim hath provoked most bitterly; therefore shall his blood be cast upon him, and his reproach shall his Lord return unto him.
