1 ১ বন্দিত্ৱৰ পৰা উভতি অহা লোকসকলে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে মন্দিৰ পুনৰ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিছে বুলি যিহূদা আৰু বিন্যামীনৰ কিছুমান শত্ৰুৱে শুনিলে।
Forsothe the enemyes of Juda and of Beniamyn herden, that the sones of caitifte bildiden a temple to the Lord God of Israel;

14 ১৪ আমি হ’ল সচাঁকৈয়ে ৰজা প্রসাদৰ নিমখ খাই আছোঁ, সেয়ে ৰজাৰ কোনো অপমান হোৱা চাই থকা আমাৰ পক্ষে উচিত নহয়। এই কাৰণে আমি মহাৰাজক এই কথা জনাইছোঁ।

19 ১৯ সেয়ে মই বুজ-বিচাৰ কৰিবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিলোঁ আৰু জানিব পাৰিলোঁ যে, আগৰে পৰাই তেওঁলোক বিদ্রোহী আছিল আৰু ৰজাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ কৰিছিল।

20 ২০ পৰাক্রমী ৰজাসকলে যিৰূচালেমৰ ওপৰত শাসন কৰিছিল আৰু নদীৰ সিপাৰৰ সকলো বস্তুৰ ওপৰত অধিকাৰ কৰিছিল। তেওঁলোকক কৰ-কাটল দিছিলে।

23 ২৩ যেতিয়া অৰ্তক্ষত্ৰ ৰজাৰ আজ্ঞা ৰহূম, চিমচয়, আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ সহকাৰীসকলৰ আগত পঢ়ি শুনালে, তেওঁলোকে তৎক্ষণাত যিৰূচালেমলৈ গ’ল আৰু যিহূদীসকলক বলেৰে গৃহ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কাৰ্য বন্ধ কৰিলে।
