এজেকিয়েল 33
And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
2 ২ “হে মনুষ্য সন্তান, তুমি তোমাৰ জাতিৰ সন্তান সকলক এই কথা ঘোষণা কৰা; তেওঁলোকক কোৱা, ‘যেতিয়া মই কোনো দেশৰ বিৰুদ্ধে তৰোৱাল আনিম, তেতিয়া সেই দেশৰ লোকসকলে তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ পৰা কোনো এজন লোকক লৈ তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে তাক প্ৰহৰী নিযুক্ত কৰিব।
Son of man Speak unto the sons of thy people and thou shalt say unto them, A land—when I bring upon it a sword, And the people of the land shall take one man out of their whole number, and appoint him for them, as watchman;
And he shall see the sword coming upon the land, —and shall blow with the horn and warn the people
4 ৪ তেতিয়া যদি সেই লোকসকলে শিঙাৰ শব্দ শুনি সতৰ্ক নহয়, আৰু তৰোৱালে আহি তেওঁলোকক বধ কৰে, তেনেহ’লে তেওঁলোকৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ প্রতিজনৰ নিজৰ মূৰতে পৰিব।
Then as for him who really heard the sound of the horn and took not warning, The sword indeed hath come and taken him away, — His blood, upon his own head shall remain: —
5 ৫ যদি কোনো এজন লোকে তেওঁ শিঙাৰ শব্দ শুনিও সতৰ্ক নহ’ল, তেওঁৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ তেওঁৰ ওপৰতে পৰিব; কিন্তু যদি তেওঁ সতৰ্ক হয়, তেনেহ’লে তেওঁ নিজৰ প্ৰাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিব পাৰিব।
The sound of the horn, he heard, but took not warning, His blood, upon himself shall remain, — Whereas had he taken warning, his own soul, he should have delivered.
6 ৬ কিন্তু প্ৰহৰীয়ে তৰোৱাল অহা দেখিও যদি শিঙা নবজায়, আৰু লোকসকলক সতৰ্ক হ’বলৈ সুযোগ নিদিয়ে, আৰু তৰোৱালে আহি তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ পৰা কোনো এজন লোকৰ প্রাণ লৈ, তেন্তে তেওঁ নিজৰ অপৰাধৰ কাৰণেই হ’ব, কিন্তু মই প্ৰহৰীৰ হাতৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিশোধ ল’ম।’
But as for the watchman-When he seeth the sword coming. And hath not blown with the horn. And the people, have not been warned, And the sword, hath come and taken away from among them any person he, for his iniquity, hath been taken away, But his blood at the hand of the watchman will I require.
7 ৭ এতিয়া তুমিও, হে মনুষ্য সন্তান! মই তোমাক ইস্ৰায়েল বংশৰ প্ৰহৰীস্বৰূপে নিযুক্ত কৰিলোঁ; তুমি মোৰ মুখৰ পৰা বাক্য শুনি মোৰ নামেৰে তেওঁলোকক সতৰ্ক কৰা।
Thou therefore Son of man, A watchman, have I appointed thee, to the house of Israel, So then thou shalt hear at my mouth a message, and shalt warn them from me.
8 ৮ যদি মই এজন দুষ্ট লোকক কওঁ, ‘হে দুষ্ট, তুমি নিশ্চয়ে মৰিবা!’ কিন্তু যদি তুমি সেই দুষ্টজনক তেওঁৰ পথৰ পৰা ঘূৰিবলৈ সতৰ্ক কৰিবলৈ একো নোকোৱা, তেতিয়া সেই দুষ্ট লোকজনে নিজ অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মৰিব, কিন্তু মই তোমাৰ হাতৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিশোধ ল’ম!
When I say to the lawless man O lawless man thou shalt surely die, And thou have not spoken to warn the lawless man from his way He the lawless man for his iniquity shall die, But his blood- at thy hand- will I demand.
9 ৯ কিন্তু যদি সেই দুষ্ট লোকজনক তেওঁৰ পথৰ পৰা ঘূৰিবলৈ তেওঁৰ পথৰ বিষয়ে সতৰ্ক কৰা, আৰু তেওঁ নিজ পথৰ পৰা নুঘূৰে, তেন্তে তেওঁ নিজ অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মৰিব, কিন্তু তুমি তোমাৰ প্ৰাণ ৰক্ষা কৰিবা।
But as for thyself When thou hast warned a lawless man from his way, to turn therefrom, And he hath not turned from his way He, for his own iniquity shall die, But thou hast delivered thine own life,
10 ১০ গতিকে তুমি, হে মনুষ্য সন্তান, তুমি ইস্ৰায়েলবংশক কোৱা, ‘তোমালোকে এই কথা কৈছা: আমাৰ অপৰাধ আৰু পাপৰ ভাৰ আমাৰ ওপৰত আছে আৰু আমি সেইবোৰৰ কাৰণে ধংস হৈ আছোঁ! তেন্তে আমি কেনেকৈ জীয়াই থাকিম?’
Thou, therefore, Son of man, Say unto the house of Israel, Thus, have ye spoken saying: When our transgressions and our sins are upon us, —and for them, we are melting away How then can we live?
11 ১১ তুমি তেওঁলোকক কোৱা, ‘প্ৰভু যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত - প্রভু যিহোৱাই কৈছে - দুষ্টৰ মৰণত মই সন্তোষ নাপাওঁ, কিয়নো দুষ্টই যদি নিজ পথৰ পৰা ঘূৰে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ জীয়াই থাকে! ঘূৰা! তোমালোকৰ কু-পথৰ পৰা তোমালোক ঘূৰা! কিয়নো হে ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ, তোমালোক কিয় মৰিবা?’
Say unto them, As I live, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, Surely, I can take no pleasure in the death of the lawless man, But that the lawless man turn from his way, and live, - Turn ye, turn ye, from your wicked ways, For wherefore should ye die. O house of Israel?
12 ১২ আৰু তুমি, হে মনুষ্য সন্তান, তুমি তোমাৰ জাতিৰ সন্তান সকলক কোৱা, ‘ধাৰ্মিকৰ ধাৰ্মিকতাই তেওঁৰ অপৰাধৰ দিনা তেওঁক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিব নোৱাৰে; আৰু দুষ্টৰ দুষ্টতাৰ বিষয়ে হ’লে, তেওঁ নিজ দুষ্টতাৰ পৰা ঘূৰা দিনা তাৰ দ্বাৰাই তেওঁ পতিত নহ’ব। কিয়নো ধাৰ্মিক জনে পাপ কৰিলে নিজ ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ দ্বাৰাই জীয়াই থাকিব নোৱাৰিব।
Thou, therefore, Son of man Say unto the sons of thy people— The righteousness of the righteous man, shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression, And as for the lawlessness of the lawless man, He shall not stumble thereby, in the day of his return from his lawlessness, - Nor shall the righteous man be able to live thereby, in the day of his sin.
13 ১৩ যেতিয়া মই ধাৰ্মিকৰ বিষয়ে, “তেওঁ জীয়াই থাকিব!”, এই বুলি কওঁ, তেতিয়া যদি তেওঁ নিজ ধাৰ্মিকতাত নির্ভৰ কৰি অপৰাধ কৰে, তেন্তে তেওঁ ধৰ্মকৰ্মবোৰৰ কোনো এটাও সোঁৱৰণ কৰা নহ’ব; তেওঁ কৰা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে তেওঁ মৰিব।
When I say of the righteous man He shall surely live but he hath trusted in his righteousness and committed perversity None of his righteous deeds shall be mentioned, But by his perversity which he hath committed—thereby, shall he die.
14 ১৪ পুনৰায় যেতিয়া মই দুষ্টক কওঁ, “তুমি অৱশ্যে মৰিবা!” তেতিয়া যদি তেওঁ নিজ পাপৰ পৰা ঘূৰি ন্যায় আৰু উচিত কাৰ্য কৰে-
And when I say to the lawless man Thou shalt surely die, but he shall turn from his sin, and do justice and righteousness:
15 ১৫ যদি তেওঁ বন্ধক ওলোটাই দিয়ে, বা চুৰ কৰা বস্তু পুনৰায় ঘূৰাই দিয়ে, আৰু কোনো অপৰাধ নকৰি জীৱন দায়ক বিধিবোৰত চ’লে, তেন্তে তেওঁ নিশ্চয়ে জীয়াই থাকিব; তেওঁ নমৰিব।
The debt-pledge, the lawless man shall restore Plunder, shall pay back, In the statutes of life, hath walked, so as not to commit perversity. He shall surely live he shall not die: —
16 ১৬ তেওঁ কৰা পাপবোৰৰ কোনো পাপকে তেওঁৰ অহিতে সোঁৱৰণ কৰা নহ’ব; তেওঁ উচিত আৰু ন্যায় কাৰ্য কৰিলে; তেওঁ অৱশ্যে জীয়াই থাকিব!
None of his sins which he hath committed shall be called to mind against him, — Justice and righteousness, hath he done He shall surely live.
17 ১৭ তথাপি তোমাৰ জাতিৰ সন্তান সকলে কয়, “প্ৰভুৰ পথ ন্যায় নহয়!” কিন্তু তেওঁলোকৰ পথবোৰ হে ন্যায় নহয়!
And can the sons of thy people say, The way of The Lord will not be equal? Nay! but as for them, their way will not be equal!
When the righteous man shall turn from his righteousness and commit perversity Then shall he die for them;
19 ১৯ আৰু যেতিয়া দুষ্টই নিজ দুষ্টতাৰ পৰা ঘূৰি উচিত আৰু ন্যায় কাৰ্য কৰে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ তাৰ দ্বাৰাই জীয়াই থাকিব!
But when the lawless man shall turn from his lawlessness, and do justice and righteousness Upon them, shall he live.
20 ২০ তথাপি তোমালোকে কোৱা, “প্ৰভুৰ পথ ন্যায় নহয়!” হে ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ, মই তোমালোকৰ নিজ নিজ আচাৰ-ব্যৱহাৰ অনুসাৰে তোমালোকৰ প্রতিজনৰ বিচাৰ কৰিম’!”
And can ye then say, The way of The Lord will not be equal? Every man—according to his own ways so will I judge you O house of Israel?
21 ২১ আমি দেশান্তৰিত হোৱাৰ দ্বাদশ বছৰৰ দ্বাদশ মাহৰ পঞ্চম দিনা যিৰূচালেমৰ পৰা ওলাই ৰক্ষা পোৱা এজনে মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি মোক ক’লে, “নগৰখন শত্ৰুৰ হাতত পৰিল!”
And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the tenth month on the fifth of the month of our exile, that there came unto me one that had escaped out of Jerusalem saying. Smitten is the city!
22 ২২ পলাই ৰক্ষা পোৱা জন অহাৰ আগেয়ে সন্ধ্যাৰ সময়ত যিহোৱাৰ হাত মোৰ ওপৰত অৰ্পিত আছিল; আৰু তেওঁ ৰাতিপুৱাতে মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহাৰ সময়ত মোৰ মূখ মেলা হ’ল। সেই কাৰণে মোৰ মূখ মেল খালে; মই আৰু বোবা হৈ নাথাকিলোঁ!
Now the hand of Yahweh, had come unto me in the evening, before the coming of him who had escaped, and he had opened my mouth, by the time that he came to me in the morning, —so my mouth, was opened, and I was dumb no longer.
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me saying:
24 ২৪ “হে মনুষ্য সন্তান, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ধ্বংসস্থানবোৰত বাস কৰা লোকসকলে কয়, ‘অব্ৰাহাম এজন মাত্ৰ লোক আছিল, তথাপি তেওঁ দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিছিল; কিন্তু আমি হ’লে অনেক! অধিকাৰৰ অৰ্থে দেশ আমাকেই দিয়া হৈছে।’
Son of man These inhabitants of waste places on the soil of Israel are saying thus, One, was Abraham. Yet he inherited the land, - But, we, are many, To us, is the land given as an inheritance.
25 ২৫ এই হেতুকে তেওঁলোকক কোৱা, ‘প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “তোমালোক সতেজ হৈ মাংস খোৱা, মুৰ্ত্তিবোৰলৈ চকু তোলা আৰু ৰক্তপাত কৰা লোক; তেন্তে তোমালোকে জানো সঁচাকৈ দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিবা নে?
Wherefore say unto them Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh. -With the blood, ye do eat. And your eyes, ye do lift up unto your manufactured gods. And blood, ye do shed; And the land, shall ye inherit?
26 ২৬ তোমালোকে নিজ নিজ তৰোৱালত নিৰ্ভৰ কৰা, ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্য কৰা আৰু নিজ নিজ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ পত্নীক অশুচি কৰা লোক; তোমালোকে জানো সঁচাকৈ দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিবা’?”
Ye men have taken your stand by your sword. Ye women have wrought abomination, And every man—with the wife of his neighbour, have ye defiled yourselves; And the land, shall ye inherit?
27 ২৭ তুমি তেওঁলোকক এই কথা ক’বা, “প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: মোৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, ধ্বংসস্থান-বোৰত বাস কৰা লোকসকল অৱশ্যে তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই পতিত হ’ব, আৰু মুকলি পথাৰত থকাটোক খাবৰ কাৰণে মই বনৰীয়া জন্তুবোৰক দিম, আৰু দুৰ্গ আৰু গুহাত থকাবোৰ মহামাৰীত মৰিব।
Thus shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, As I live, surely, they who are in the waste places by the sword, shall fall, And him who is on the face of the field to the wild beast, have I given to be devoured, - And they who are in the mountain holds and in the pits: by pestilence, shall die;
28 ২৮ তাৰ পাছত মই দেশক ধ্বংস আৰু আচৰিতৰ বিষয় কৰিম; তেতিয়া তাৰ পৰাক্ৰমৰ গৰ্ব্ব খৰ্ব্ব হ’ব, আৰু ইস্ৰায়েল পৰ্ব্বতবোৰ এনেকৈ ধ্বংস কৰা হ’ব যে, কোনেও সেইবোৰৰ মাজেদি নাযাব’।”
And I will make the land a desolation and an astonishment, So shall be made to cease the pride of her strength, - And the mountains of Israel shall be too desolate for any to pass through.
29 ২৯ মই তেওঁলোকে কৰা তেওঁলোকৰ আটাই ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্যৰ কাৰণে মই দেশখন ধ্বংস আৰু আচৰিতৰ বিষয় কৰিম। তেতিয়া মই যে যিহোৱা, সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁলোকে জানিব।
So shall they know that I, am Yahweh, — When I make the land a desolation and an astonishment, because of all their abominations which they have committed.
30 ৩০ আৰু তুমি, হে মনুষ্য সন্তান - তোমাৰ বিষয়ে হ’লে, তোমাৰ জাতিৰ সন্তান সকলে দেৱালৰ কাষত আৰু ঘৰৰ দুৱাৰমুখত তোমাৰ বিষয়ে কথা পাতে; আৰু ভায়েকে ভায়েকে পৰস্পৰে কোৱাকুই কৰি কয়, “ব’লা, যিহোৱাৰ মুখৰ পৰা আজি ওলোৱা বাক্য কি, সেই বিষয়ে আমি গৈ ভাববাদীজনৰ পৰা শুনোহঁক।”
Thou therefore Son of man, the sons of thy people who are talking against thee Near the walls and in the entrances of the houses, are speaking one with another, every man with his brother saying. Come in we pray you and heat, what is the word that is coming forth from Yahweh;
31 ৩১ তেতিয়া মোৰ প্ৰজাসকলে তোমালোকৰ ওচৰলৈ প্রায়ে যিদৰে আহে, সেইদৰে আহিব আৰু তোমালোকৰ আগত বহিব, আৰু তেওঁলোকে তোমালোকৰ বাক্য শুনিব, কিন্তু সেইদৰে কাৰ্য নকৰিব; কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে মুখেৰে অধিক প্ৰেম দেখুৱায়, কিন্তু তেওঁলোকৰ অন্তৰ তেওঁলোকৰ লাভৰ পাছত চলে।
That they may come unto thee as people do come And may sit before thee as my people, And they will hear thy words, But, the words themselves, will they not do, — though fond with their mouths, they seem to be, After their unjust gain, their heart is going.
32 ৩২ কিয়নো চোৱা, তুমি তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে সুন্দৰ গীতৰ দৰে, আৰু ভালকৈ বাদ্য কৰিব পৰা মনোহৰ গান যেন হে; তেওঁলোকে তোমাৰ বাক্য শুনিব, কিন্তু সেইদৰে কাৰ্য নকৰিব।
And lo! thou art to them— As a bewitching song, Of one with a beautiful voice. And skilfully touching the strings, —So will they hear thy words, And yet be going to do none of them.
33 ৩৩ আৰু যেতিয়া সেয়ে ঘটিব - চোৱা! সেয়ে ঘটিবৰ দিন ওচৰ হৈছে! - তেতিয়া, তেওঁলোকে তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত যে এজন ভাববাদী আছিল, সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁলোকে জানিব।
But when it cometh Lo! it is coming, Then shall they know that a prophet hath been in their midst.
