এজেকিয়েল 18
The worde of the Lord came vnto me againe, saying,
2 ২ “ইস্ৰায়েল দেশৰ যোজনা যে তোমালোকে দিয়া, তাৰ অৰ্থ কি? আৰু এইবুলি কোৱা, ‘বাপেকহঁতে টেঙা দ্ৰাক্ষাগুটি খাই কিন্তু তেওঁলোকৰ পুত্রসকলৰ দাঁত টেঙায়?’
What meane ye that ye speake this prouerbe, concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers haue eaten sowre grapes, and the childrens teeth are set on edge?
3 ৩ মোৰ জীৱনৰ শপত”- প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, “ইস্ৰায়েলত এই যোজনা দিবলৈ তোমালোকে আৰু কেতিয়াও সুযোগ নাপাবা।
As I liue, sayth the Lord God, ye shall vse this prouerbe no more in Israel.
4 ৪ চোৱা! আটাই প্ৰাণ মোৰেই; যেনেকৈ বাপেকৰ প্ৰাণ মোৰ, তেনেকৈ পুতেকৰ প্ৰাণো মোৰ; যি প্ৰাণীয়ে পাপ কৰে সেই প্ৰাণীহে মৰিব!
Beholde, all soules are mine, both the soule of the father, and also the soule of the sonne are mine: the soule that sinneth, it shall die.
But if a man be iust, and doe that which is lawfull, and right,
6 ৬ আৰু যদি পৰ্ব্বতবোৰৰ পবিত্র স্থান বোৰত ভোজন নকৰে বা ইস্ৰায়েল বংশৰ প্রতিমাবোৰলৈ চকু নোতোলে- বা নিজ ওচৰ চুবুৰীয়াৰ স্ত্রীক অশুচি কৰা নাই বা কোনো স্ত্রীৰ অশুচি হোৱা সময়ত তাইৰ ওচৰলৈ যোৱা নাই -
And hath not eaten vpon the mountaines, neither hath lift vp his eyes to the idoles of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbours wife, neither hath lyen with a menstruous woman,
7 ৭ আৰু কাকো অন্যায় কৰা নাই কিন্তু তাৰ সলনি তেওঁৰ ধৰুৱাক তেওঁৰ বন্ধক ঘূৰোৱাই দিছে - কাৰো বস্তু বলেৰে কাঢ়ি লোৱা নাই, কিন্তু তাৰ সলনি ক্ষুধাতুৰক নিজৰ আহাৰ দিয়ে আৰু নাঙঠাক কাপোৰেৰে ঢাকে;
Neither hath oppressed any, but hath restored the pledge to his dettour: he that hath spoyled none by violence, but hath giuen his bread to the hungry, and hath couered the naked with a garment,
8 ৮ তেওঁ যদি সুতলৈ ধাৰ নিদিয়ে বা তাক বঢ়াই নিদিয়ে - বা অন্যায়ৰ পৰা নিজ হাত কোঁচায়, মানুহৰ মাজত সত্য বিচাৰ কৰি, মোৰ বিধি বোৰত চ’লে,
And hath not giuen foorth vpon vsurie, neither hath taken any increase, but hath withdrawen his hand from iniquitie, and hath executed true iudgement betweene man and man,
9 ৯ আৰু যথাৰ্থ কাৰ্য কৰি মোৰ শাসন-প্ৰণালীবোৰ পালন কৰে, তেন্তে তেওঁহে ধাৰ্মিক; তেওঁহে অৱশ্যে জীব!” এয়ে প্ৰভু যিহোৱাৰ ঘোষণা।
And hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my iudgements to deale truely, he is iust, he shall surely liue, sayth the Lord God.
If he beget a sonne, that is a thiefe, or a sheader of blood, if he do any one of these things,
11 ১১ আৰু যদিও তেওঁৰ পিতৃয়ে সেইবোৰৰ কোনো কৰ্ত্তব্যৰ কৰ্ম নকৰে - কিন্তু যদি তেওঁৰ পুতেকে পৰ্ব্বতবোৰৰ পবিত্র স্থানবোৰত ভোজন কৰে আৰু নিজ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ স্ত্রীক অশুচি কৰে -
Though he doe not all these things, but either hath eaten vpon the mountaines, or defiled his neighbours wife,
12 ১২ সি যদি দুখী-দৰিদ্ৰক অন্যায় কৰে, বা যদি বলেৰে কাঢ়ি লয় বা বন্ধক ঘূৰোৱাই নিদিয়ে, প্রতিমাবোৰলৈ চকু তোলে বা ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্য কৰে;
Or hath oppressed the poore and needy, or hath spoyled by violence, or hath not restored the pledge, or hath lift vp his eyes vnto the idoles, or hath committed abomination,
13 ১৩ সি যদি সুতলৈ ধাৰ দিয়ে বা অনুচিত লাভ লয়, তেনেহ’লে সি জীয়াই থাকিব নে? সি জীয়াই নাথাকিব! সি এই আটাইবোৰ ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্য কৰিলে; তাৰ অৱশ্যে মৃত্যু হ’ব আৰু তাৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ তাৰ ওপৰত থাকিব।
Or hath giuen forth vpon vsurie, or hath taken increase, shall he liue? he shall not liue: seeing he hath done all these abominations, he shall die the death, and his blood shall be vpon him.
14 ১৪ কিন্তু চোৱা! যদি তাৰ এজন পুত্র জন্মে, তেওঁৰ পিতৃয়ে কৰা সকলো পাপ দেখিছে আৰু সি ঈশ্ৱৰলৈ ভয় ৰাখি তেনে কাৰ্যবোৰ নকৰে -
But if he beget a sonne, that seeth all his fathers sinnes, which he hath done, and feareth, neither doeth such like,
15 ১৫ সি পৰ্ব্বতবোৰৰ পবিত্র স্থানবোৰৰ ওপৰত ভোজন নকৰে বা ইস্ৰায়েল বংশৰ প্রতিমা বোৰলৈ চকু নোতোলে আৰু যদি সি চুবুৰীয়াৰ স্ত্রীক অশুচি নকৰে;
That hath not eaten vpon the mountaines, neither hath lift vp his eyes to the idols of ye house of Israel, nor hath defiled his neighbours wife,
16 ১৬ বা কাকো অন্যায় নকৰে, বন্ধকৰ কাৰণে একো নলয়, বা বলেৰে বস্তু কাঢ়ি নলয়, কিন্তু ক্ষুধাতুৰক নিজৰ আহাৰ দিয়ে আৰু নাঙঠাক কাপোৰেৰে ঢাকে -
Neither hath oppressed any, nor hath withholden the pledge, neither hath spoyled by violence, but hath giuen his bread to the hungry, and hath couered the naked with a garment,
17 ১৭ সি যদি দুখীয়াক উপদ্ৰৱ কৰাৰ পৰা নিজৰ হাত কোঁচায়, সুত বা অনুচিত লাভ নলয়; মোৰ শাসন-প্ৰণালীবোৰ পালন কৰে আৰু মোৰ বিধিবোৰত চ’লে, তেন্তে সেই পুত্রই নিজৰ পিতৃৰ পাপবোৰৰ কাৰণে নমৰিব। তেওঁ অৱশ্যে জীয়াই থাকিব!
Neither hath withdrawen his hand from the afflicted, nor receiued vsurie nor increase, but hath executed my iudgements, and hath walked in my statutes, he shall not die in the iniquitie of his father, but he shall surely liue.
18 ১৮ তেওঁৰ পিতৃৰ বিষয়ে হ’লে, তেওঁ অত্যন্ত অত্যাচাৰ কৰাত, বলেৰে নিজ ভাইৰ বস্তু কাঢ়ি লোৱাত আৰু নিজ লোকসকলৰ মাজত, যি ভাল নহয়, সেইবোৰ কৰাৰ বাবে - চোৱা, তেওঁ নিজ অপৰাধৰ বাবে মৰিব।
His father, because he cruelly oppressed and spoyled his brother by violence, and hath not done good among his people, loe, euen he dyeth in his iniquitie.
19 ১৯ তথাপি তোমালোকে কোৱা, “পুত্রই কিয় পিতৃৰ অপৰাধৰ ভাৰ নবয়?” কিয়নো সেই পুত্রই উচিত আৰু ন্যায় কাৰ্য কৰে আৰু মোৰ সকলো বিধি পালন কৰে। সি সেই সকলোবোৰৰ মতে কৰ্ম কৰে। তেতিয়া তেওঁ নিশ্চয়ে জীয়াই থাকিব!
Yet say ye, Wherefore shall not the sonne beare the iniquitie of the father? because ye sonne hath executed iudgement and iustice, and hath kept all my statutes, and done them, he shall surely liue,
20 ২০ যিজনে পাপ কৰে, তেওঁ মৰিব। পুত্রই পিতৃৰ অপৰাধৰৰ ভাৰ নবব আৰু ধাৰ্মিকৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা ধাৰ্মিকৰ গাত আৰু দুষ্টৰ দুষ্টতা দুষ্টৰ গাত থাকিব।
The same soule that sinneth, shall die: the sonne shall not beare the iniquitie of the father, neither shall the father beare the iniquitie of the sonne, but the righteousnes of the righteous shall be vpon him, and the wickednesse of the wicked shall be vpon him selfe.
21 ২১ কিন্তু যদি দুষ্টজনে নিজে কৰা আটাই পাপৰ পৰা ঘূৰি মোৰ সকলো বিধি পালন কৰে আৰু উচিত আৰু ন্যায় সকলো কাৰ্যবোৰ কৰে, তেন্তে তেওঁ নমৰি অৱশ্যে জীয়াই থাকিব, ।
But if the wicked will returne from all his sinnes that he hath committed, and keepe all my statutes, and doe that which is lawfull and right, he shall surely liue, and shall not die.
22 ২২ তেওঁ কৰা অপৰাধবোৰৰ কোনো অপৰাধকে তেওঁৰ অহিতে সোঁৱৰণ কৰা নহ’ব। তেওঁ নিজ ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ বাবেহে জীয়াই থাকিব।
All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned vnto him, but in his righteousnes that he hath done, he shall liue.
23 ২৩ প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই ঘোষণা কৰিছে - “দুষ্টজনৰ মৃত্যুত জানো মই অতিকৈ সন্তোষ পাওঁ” - যিহেতু তেওঁলোকে নিজ কু-পথৰ পৰা ঘূৰি আহি জীয়াই থাকিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন?
Haue I any desire that the wicked should die, sayth the Lord God? or shall he not liue, if he returne from his wayes?
24 ২৪ কিন্তু যদি ধাৰ্মিকজনে তেওঁৰ ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ পৰা ঘূৰি অপৰাধ কৰে আৰু দুষ্ট লোকসকলে কৰা আটাই ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্যৰ দৰে কাৰ্য কৰে, তেন্তে তেওঁ জীয়াই থাকিব নে? তেওঁ কৰা ধৰ্ম-কৰ্মবোৰৰ একোকেই সোঁৱৰণ কৰা নাযাব। সেই কাৰণে তেওঁ কৰা অপৰাধতেই আৰু তেওঁ কৰা পাপতেই তেওঁ মৰিব।
But if the righteous turne away from his righteousnes, and commit iniquitie, and doe according to all the abominations, that the wicked man doeth, shall he liue? all his righteousnes that he hath done, shall not be mentioned: but in his transgression that he hath committed, and in his sinne that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
25 ২৫ তথাপি তোমালোকে কোৱা, ‘প্ৰভুৰ পথ সৎ নহয়!’ শুনা, হে ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ! মোৰ পথবোৰ সৎ নহয়নে? তোমালোকৰ পথবোৰহে জানো সৎ নহয়?
Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equall: heare now, O house of Israel. Is not my way equall? or are not your wayes vnequall?
26 ২৬ ধাৰ্মিক লোকজনে যদি নিজ ধাৰ্মিকতাৰ পৰা ঘূৰি অপৰাধ কৰে আৰু সেই বাবে তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হয়, তেতিয়া তেওঁ কৰা অপৰাধতেই তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ব।
For when a righteous man turneth away from his righteousnes, and committeth iniquitie, he shall euen die for the same, he shall euen die for his iniquitie, that he hath done.
27 ২৭ কিন্তু যেতিয়া দুষ্ট লোকজনে যদি তেওঁ কৰা দুষ্কৰ্মৰ পৰা ঘূৰি উচিত আৰু ন্যায় কাৰ্য কৰে, তেন্তে তেওঁ নিজ প্ৰাণ জীয়াই ৰাখিব!
Againe when the wicked turneth away from his wickednes that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawfull and right, he shall saue his soule aliue.
Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that hee hath committed, he shall surely liue and shall not die.
29 ২৯ তথাপি ইস্ৰায়েল বংশই কয়, ‘প্ৰভুৰ পথ সৎ নহয়!’ হে ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ, মোৰ পথ কিয় সৎ নহয়? তোমালোকৰ পথহে জানো অসৎ নহয়?
Yet saith ye house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equall. O house of Israel, are not my wayes equall? or are not your wayes vnequall?
30 ৩০ এই হেতুকে, প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই কৈছে, “হে ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ, প্ৰতিজনৰ আচাৰ-ব্যৱহাৰ অনুসাৰে, মই তোমালোকৰ বিচাৰ কৰিম!” “তোমালোক উলটি আহা আৰু তোমালোকৰ সকলো অধৰ্মৰ পৰা ঘূৰা যেন অপৰাধ তোমালোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে সৰ্ব্বনাশৰ কাৰণ নহ’ব।
Therefore I will iudge you, O house of Israel, euery one according to his wayes, sayth the Lord God: returne therefore and cause others to turne away from all your transgressions: so iniquitie shall not be your destruction.
31 ৩১ যি যি অপৰাধেৰে তোমালোকে অপৰাধ কৰিলা, তোমালোকৰ সেই সকলো অপৰাধবোৰ তোমালোকৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰা আৰু তোমালোকৰ নিজৰ কাৰণে এক নতুন হৃদয় আৰু এক নতুন আত্মা কৰা; কিয়নো হে ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ, তোমালোক কিয় মৰিবা?
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye haue transgressed, and make you a newe heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
32 ৩২ কিয়নো যি জন লোকৰ মৃত্যু হয়, তেওঁৰ মৃত্যুত মই সন্তোষ নকৰোঁ” - এই কথা প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই ঘোষণা কৰিছে। “এই হেতুকে তোমালোক মনপালটন কৰি জীয়াই থাকা!”
For I desire not the death of him that dyeth, sayth the Lord God: cause therefore one another to returne, and liue ye.
