আমোস 1
1 ১ আমোচ তকোৱাৰ মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়াসকলৰ মাজৰ এজন আছিল। তেতিয়া যিহূদাৰ ৰজা আছিল উজ্জিয়া আৰু ইস্রায়েলৰ ৰজা আছিল যোৱাচৰ পুত্র যাৰবিয়াম। ভূমিকম্পৰ দুবছৰৰ আগেয়ে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিষয়ে আমোচে এই সকলো দৰ্শন পায়।
The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2 ২ আমোচে ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই চিয়োনৰ পৰা গৰ্জন কৰিছে, আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ পৰা উচ্চস্বৰে কথা কৈছে। মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়াবোৰৰ চৰণীয়া ঠাইবোৰৰ শোক হ’ব আৰু কৰ্মিল পর্বতৰ চূড়া শুকাই গৈছে।”
He said: "The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither."
3 ৩ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “দম্মেচকৰ তিনিটা এনে কি চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম; কিয়নো শস্যৰ মৰণা মৰা লোহাৰ যন্ত্রৰে তেওঁলোকে গিলিয়দক মাৰিলে।
Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have threshed the pregnant women of Gilead with threshing instruments of iron;
4 ৪ সেইবাবে মই হজায়েলৰ ৰাজপ্রাসাদৰ ওপৰত অগ্নি নিক্ষেপ কৰিম; সেই জুইয়ে বিন-হদদৰ দুর্গবোৰ গ্ৰাস কৰিব।
but I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it will devour the palaces of Ben Hadad.
5 ৫ মই দম্মেচকৰ দুৱাৰৰ ডাংবোৰ ভাঙি পেলাম। মই আবন উপত্যকাৰ পৰা বাসিন্দাসকলক আৰু বৈৎ-এদনৰ পৰা ৰাজদণ্ড ধৰা লোকক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিম; অৰামৰ লোকসকল বন্দী হৈ কীৰলৈ যাব।”
I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Wickedness, and him who holds the scepter from Beth Eden; and the people of Aram shall go into captivity to Kir," says the LORD.
6 ৬ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “গাজাৰ তিনিটা, এনে কি, চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম; কিয়নো ইদোমৰ হাতত শোধাই দিবৰ কাৰণে তেওঁলোকে সকলো লোকক বন্দী কৰি লৈ গৈছিল।
Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Gaza, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they carried away captive the whole community, to deliver them up to Edom;
but I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, and it will devour its palaces.
8 ৮ মই অচ্দোদৰ বাসিন্দাসকলক আৰু অস্কিলোনৰ পৰা ৰাজদণ্ড ধৰা লোকক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিম; মই ইক্ৰোণৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মোৰ হাত চলাম আৰু পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ অৱশিষ্ট জীৱিত লোক বিনষ্ট হ’ব।”
I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; and I will turn my hand against Ekron; and the remnant of the Philistines will perish," says the LORD.
9 ৯ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: তূৰৰ তিনিটা এনে কি, চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম; কিয়নো ভাতৃত্ববোধৰ চুক্তি অগ্রাহ্য কৰি তেওঁলোকে সকলো লোকক ইদোমৰ হাতত শোধাই দিলে।
Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and did not remember the brotherly covenant;
but I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre, and it will devour its palaces."
11 ১১ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “ইদোমৰ তিনিটা, এনে কি চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম; কিয়নো সকলো দয়া-মমতা ত্যাগ কৰি ইদোমে হাতত তৰোৱাল লৈ নিজ ভাইবোৰক খেদিলে; তেওঁলোকৰ ভয়ঙ্কৰ ক্ৰোধ অবিৰামে চলি আছিল আৰু তেওঁলোকে তাক চিৰকাল ধৰি ৰাখিছিল।
Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all pity, and his anger raged continually, and he kept his wrath forever;
12 ১২ সেইবাবে মই তৈমনৰ ওপৰলৈ অগ্নি নিক্ষেপ কৰিম; সেই অগ্নিয়ে বস্ৰাৰ ৰাজঅট্টালিকাবোৰ গ্ৰাস কৰি পেলাব।”
but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah."
13 ১৩ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “অম্মোনৰ লোকসকলৰ তিনিটা, এনে কি চাৰিটা অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে মই তাক দণ্ড নিদিয়াকৈ নাথাকিম; কিয়নো নিজৰ সীমা বঢ়াবৰ কাৰণে তেওঁলোকে গিলিয়দৰ গৰ্ভৱতী মহিলাসকলৰ উদৰ ফালিলে।
Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of the people of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.
14 ১৪ সেইবাবে যুদ্ধৰ দিনত বিজয়ধ্বনিৰে সৈতে, ভয়ঙ্কৰ বা’মৰলী বতাহৰ দিনত ধুমুহাৰে সৈতে মই ৰব্বাৰ প্রাচীৰবোৰত জুই লগাই দিম; সেয়ে ৰাজঅট্টালিকাবোৰ গ্ৰাস কৰি পেলাব।
But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it will devour its palaces, with shouting in the day of battle, with a storm in the day of the whirlwind;
and their king will go into captivity, he and his officials together," says the LORD.
