And the people of the land took Jehoachaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
Twenty and three years old was Joachaz when he became king, and three months did he reign in Jerusalem.
3 ৩ মিচৰৰ ৰজাই যিৰূচালেমত তেওঁক ৰজাৰ পদৰ পৰা আতৰাই, দেশৰ ওপৰত এশ কিক্কৰ ৰূপ আৰু এক কিক্কৰ সোণ দণ্ড কৰিলে।
And the king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem, and imposed a fine on the land of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
4 ৪ তাৰ পাছত মিচৰৰ ৰজাই তেওঁৰ ভায়েক ইলিয়াকীমক যিহূদা আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ ওপৰত ৰজা পাতিলে, আৰু তেওঁৰ নাম সলাই যিহোয়াকীম ৰাখিলে। তেতিয়া তেওঁ ইলিয়াকীমৰ ককায়েক যোৱাহজক ধৰি মিচৰলৈ লৈ গ’ল।
And the king of Egypt made Elyakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoyakim. And Joachaz his brother did Necho take away, and bring him to Egypt.
5 ৫ যিহোয়াকীমে পঁচিশ বছৰ বয়সত ৰজা হৈ, যিৰূচালেমত এঘাৰ বছৰ ৰাজত্ব কৰিলে৷ তেওঁ তেওঁৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে কু-আচৰণ কৰিলে।
Twenty and five years old was Jehoyakim when he became king, and eleven years did he reign in Jerusalem: and he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord his God.
6 ৬ তেওঁৰ বিৰুদ্ধে বাবিলৰ ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰে আহি তেওঁক আক্ৰমণ কৰি বাবিললৈ লৈ যাবৰ বাবে তেওঁক শিকলিৰে বান্ধিলে।
Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and he bound him with fetters, to carry him away to Babylon.
And some of the vessels of the house of the Lord did Nebuchadnezzar carry to Babylon, and he placed them in his temple at Babylon.
8 ৮ চোৱা, যিহোয়াকীমৰ অৱশিষ্ট বৃত্তান্ত, তেওঁ কৰা ঘিণলগা কাৰ্যবোৰ আৰু তেওঁত পোৱা দোষৰ কথা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আৰু যিহূদাৰ ৰজাসকলৰ ইতিহাস-পুস্তকখনত লিখা আছে। পাছত তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যিহোয়াখীন তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা হ’ল।
And the rest of the acts of Jehoyakim, and his abominable deeds which he did, and that which was found concerning him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. And Jehoyachin his son became king in his stead.
9 ৯ যিহোয়াখীনে ওঠৰ বছৰ বয়সত ৰজা হৈ, যিৰূচালেমত তিনি মাহ দহ দিন ৰাজত্ব কৰিলে৷ তেওঁ যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে কু-অচৰণ কৰিলে।
Eight years old was Jehoyachin when he became king, and three months and ten days did he reign in Jerusalem: and he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord.
10 ১০ পাছত বছৰৰ আৰম্ভণত নবূখদনেচৰ ৰজাই মানুহ পঠিয়াই, তেওঁক আৰু যিহোৱাৰ গৃহৰ মনমোহা বস্তুবোৰ বাবিললৈ অনালে আৰু যিহূদা অাৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ ওপৰত তেওঁৰ সম্বন্ধযুক্ত চিদিকিয়াক ৰজা পাতিলে।
And with the expiration of the year did king Nebuchadnezzar send and had him brought to Babylon, with the costly vessels of the house of the Lord: and he made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem,
Twenty and one years old was Zedekiah when he became king, and eleven years did he reign in Jerusalem.
12 ১২ তেওঁ তেওঁৰ যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে কু-আচৰণ কৰিলে৷ তেওঁ যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য প্ৰকাশ কৰোঁতা ভাববাদী যিৰিমিয়াৰ আগত নিজকে নম্ৰ নকৰিলে।
And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord his God: he humbled himself not before Jeremiah the prophet, according to the order of the Lord.
13 ১৩ আৰু যি ৰজা নবূখদনেচৰে তেওঁক ঈশ্বৰৰ নামেৰে শপত কৰাইছিল, তেওঁ সেই ৰজাৰ অহিতে বিদ্ৰোহীও হ’ল৷ তেওঁৰ ডিঙি থৰ আৰু মন কঠিন কৰি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱালৈ ঘূৰিবলৈ মান্তি নহ’ল।
And also against king Nebuchadnezzar did he rebel, who had made him swear by God; but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart so as not to return unto the Lord the God of Israel.
14 ১৪ বিশেষকৈ পুৰোহিতসকলৰ মাজৰ প্ৰধান লোকসকলে আৰু প্ৰজাসকলে জাতিবোৰৰ আটাই ঘিণলগা কাৰ্যৰ দৰে অনেক সত্যলঙ্ঘন কৰিলে৷ আৰু যিহোৱাই যিৰূচালেমত যি গৃহ পবিত্ৰ কৰিছিল, তাক তেওঁলোকে অশুচি কৰিলে।
Also all the chiefs of the priests and the people committed manifold trespasses, like all the abominable acts of the [foreign] nations: and they defiled the house of the Lord which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
15 ১৫ তথাপি তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰ পিতৃসকলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই নিজ প্ৰজাসকললৈ আৰু নিজৰ নিবাসৰ ঠাইলৈ মৰম লাগি, অতি যত্নেৰে নিজৰ দূতবোৰক তেওঁলোকৰ গুৰিলৈ পঠিয়াই আছিল;
And the Lord the God of their fathers sent to them by means of his messengers, making [them] rise early, and sending [them]: because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling-place;
16 ১৬ কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে ঈশ্বৰৰ দূতবোৰক খেঁজেলিয়াইছিল, তেওঁৰ বাক্য তুচ্ছ কৰিছিল আৰু তেওঁৰ ভাববাদীসকলক সিয়াৰিছিল, সেয়েহে শেষত যিহোৱাৰ ক্ৰোধ নিজ প্ৰজাসকললৈ জ্বলি উঠাত, তাক থমাব পৰা আৰু উপায় নাছিল।
But they mocked at the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scorned his prophets, until the fury of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
17 ১৭ এই হেতুকে তেওঁ কলদীয়াসকলৰ ৰজাক তেওঁলোকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আনিলে; তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ ধৰ্মধামত তেওঁলোকৰ ডেকাসকলৰ তৰোৱালেৰে বধ কৰিলে, যুৱক কি যুৱতী, বৃদ্ধ কি অতি লুৰলুৰিয়া বুঢ়া, কালৈকো দয়া নকৰিলে, ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁৰ হাতত সকলোকে শোধাই দিলে।
And he brought over them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or virgin, the old man, and the aged: all did he give up into his hand.
18 ১৮ আৰু তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ গৃহৰ সৰু বৰ সকলো বস্তু আৰু যিহোৱাৰ গৃহৰ বহুমূল্য দ্ৰব্য আৰু ৰজাৰ ও তেওঁৰ প্ৰধান লোকসকলৰ বহুমূল্য দ্ৰব্য, এই আটাইবোৰ বাবিলললৈ লৈ গ’ল।
And all the vessels of the house of God, the great and the small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and of his princes, —all these did he carry to Babylon.
19 ১৯ আৰু তেওঁৰ লোকসকলে ঈশ্বৰৰ গৃহ পুৰি ভষ্ম কৰিলে, যিৰূচালেমৰ গড় ভাঙিলে, তাৰ আটাই অট্টালিকাবোৰ জুইৰে পুৰি পেলালে আৰু তাত থকা সকলো মনোহৰ পাত্ৰবোৰ নষ্ট কৰিলে।
And they burnt the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and all her palaces they burnt with fire, and all her costly vessels they gave up to destruction.
20 ২০ আৰু তৰোৱালৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা পোৱা লোকসকলক তেওঁ বাবিলললৈ লৈ গ’ল৷ তাতে পাৰস্য ৰাজ্য স্থাপন নোহোৱালৈকে, সেই লোকসকলক ৰজাৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰৰ দাস হৈ থাকিল৷
And those that had escaped from the sword did he carry into exile to Babylon: and they were servants to him and to his sons until the kingdom of Persia came to the government:
21 ২১ যিৰিমিয়াৰ মুখে কোৱা যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য সাম্ফল কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে, দেশে নিজৰ ভোগ কৰিব লগীয়া বিশ্ৰাম-কাল ভোগ নকৰিলে অৰ্থাৎ লোকসকল তেওঁৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ সন্তান সকলৰ দাস হৈ থাকিল৷ সত্তৰ বছৰ পূৰ কৰিবলৈ দেশ নিজৰ উচ্ছন্ন হোৱা সকলো কালত বিশ্ৰাম ভোগ কৰিলে।
To fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had satisfied its sabbaths: all the days of its desolation it rested, till seventy years were completed.
22 ২২ পাছত পাৰস্যৰ ৰজা কোৰচৰ ৰাজত্বৰ প্ৰথম বছৰত, যিৰিমিয়াৰ দ্বাৰাই কোৱা যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ সিদ্ধিৰ বাবে, যিহোৱাই পাৰস্যৰ কোৰচ ৰজাৰ মন উদগালে৷ তেওঁ নিজৰ ৰাজ্যৰ সকলো ফালে ঘোষণা কৰি আৰু জাননী লিখি, এই আজ্ঞা প্ৰচাৰ কৰিলে৷ তেওঁ ক’লে,
And in the first year of Cyrus the king of Persia, at the completion of the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, did the Lord stir up the spirit of Cyrus the king of Persia, so that he caused a proclamation to be made throughout all his kingdom, and also by means of writing, saying,
23 ২৩ “পাৰস্যৰ ৰজা কোৰচে এই কথা কৈছে: স্বৰ্গৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই পৃথিৱীৰ সকলো ৰাজ্য মোক দান কৰিলে৷ তেৱেঁই যিহূদা দেশৰ যিৰূচালেমত তেওঁৰ বাবে এটা গৃহ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিবলৈ মোক ভাৰ দিলে। তেওঁৰ সকলো প্ৰজাসকলৰ মাজৰ যি কোনো লোক তোমালোকৰ মাজত আছে, তেওঁৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা তেওঁৰ লগত থাকক৷ আৰু সেই দেশলৈ তেওঁ উঠি যাওঁক।”
Thus hath said Cyrus the king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the Lord the God of heaven given me, and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, may the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up.
