Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who [was] sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.
2 ২ তেৱেঁই এলত নগৰ পুনৰ সাজিছিল আৰু পুনৰায় তাক যিহূদাৰ অধীনত ৰাখিছিল। তাৰ পাছত ৰজাই তেওঁৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ সৈতে নিদ্ৰিত হ’ল।
He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after the king slept with his fathers.
3 ৩ উজ্জিয়াই ষোল্ল বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ ৰাজত্ৱ আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল৷ তেওঁ যিৰূচালেমত বাৱন্ন বছৰ ৰাজত্ব কৰিছিল৷ তেওঁৰ মাতৃ যিখলিয়া, যিৰূচালেম নিবাসিনী আছিল।
Sixteen years old [was] Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also [was] Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
And he did [that which was] right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
5 ৫ তেওঁ জখৰিয়াৰ জীৱন কালত ঈশ্বৰক বিচাৰিবলৈ স্থিৰ কৰিছিল; তেওঁ ঈশ্ৱৰক মানি চলাৰ কাৰণে জখৰিয়াই তেওঁক উপদেশ দিছিল৷ তেওঁ যিমান কাল ঈশ্বৰক বিচাৰিলে, সিমান কাল ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁক সফল হ’বলৈ দিছিল।
And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and, as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
6 ৬ পাছত উজ্জিয়াই যাত্ৰাত ওলাই গৈ পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে৷ তেওঁ গাত, যবনি আৰু অচ্দোদৰ গড়বোৰ ভাঙি পেলাইছিল আৰু অচদোদৰ অঞ্চলৰ লগতে ফিলিষ্টীয়াসকলৰ মাজত কেইবাখনো নগৰ সাজিছিল।
And he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines.
And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gur-baal, and the Mehunims.
8 ৮ তেতিয়া অম্মোনীয়াসকলে উজ্জিয়াক উপহাৰ দিছিল; আৰু তেওঁৰ যশস্যা মিচৰৰ প্ৰৱেশ কৰা ঠাইলৈকে বিয়পি পৰিছিল, কিয়নো তেওঁ নিজকে অতিশয় বলৱান কৰি তুলিছিল।
And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad [even] to the entrance of Egypt: for he strengthened [himself] exceedingly.
9 ৯ উজ্জিয়াই যিৰূচালেমৰ চুকৰ দুৱাৰ, উপত্যকাৰ দুৱাৰ আৰু গড়ৰ চুকত থকা দুর্গ বোৰ সাজিছিল, আৰু সেইবোৰ সুৰক্ষিত কৰিছিল।
Moreover, Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning [of the wall], and fortified them.
10 ১০ তেওঁ মৰুপ্ৰান্তত পহৰা দিয়াৰ কাৰণে স্তম্ভবোৰ সাজিছিল আৰু অনেক নাদ খান্দিছিল; কাৰণ তেওঁৰ নিম্ন ভূমিত ও সমথলতো অনেক পশুৰ জাক আছিল৷ পৰ্বতত আৰু পথাৰবোৰত তেওঁৰ খেতিয়কসকল আৰু দ্ৰাক্ষাখেতি কৰোঁতাসকল আছিল, কাৰণ তেওঁ কৃষি কৰ্ম ভাল পাইছিল।
Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had many cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen [also], and vine-dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.
11 ১১ উজ্জিয়াৰ যুদ্ধ কৰোঁতা সৈন্যসামন্তও আছিল। তেওঁলোকে ৰজাৰ সেনাপতি হননিয়াৰ অধীনত আছিল। যিয়ীয়েল লিখক আৰু মাচেয়া শাসনকৰ্ত্তাৰ হতুৱাই লিখা সংখ্যা অনুসাৰে তেওঁলোকে দল বান্ধি যুদ্ধ যাত্ৰা কৰিছিল।
Moreover, Uzziah had an army of fighting men, that went out to war, by bands, according to the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, [one] of the king's captains.
The whole number of the chief of the fathers of the mighty men of valor [were] two thousand and six hundred.
13 ১৩ তেওঁলোকৰ অধীনত শত্ৰুৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ৰজাৰ সহায় কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে, পৰাক্ৰমেৰে যুদ্ধ কৰোঁতা তিনি লাখ সাত হাজাৰ পাঁচশ লোক আছিল।
And under their hand [was] an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.
14 ১৪ উজ্জিয়াই সেই আটাই সৈন্যসামন্তৰ কাৰণে ঢাল, যাঠী, শিৰোৰক্ষক টুপি, কৱচ, ধনু আৰু ফিঙ্গাৰ শিল যুগুত কৰি ৰাখিছিল।
And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the army, shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings [to cast] stones.
15 ১৫ তেওঁ নিপুণ লোকসকলৰ বুদ্ধিৰে সজা যন্ত্ৰ যিৰূচালেমত যুগুত কৰাই, সেইবোৰেৰে কাঁড় আৰু ডাঙৰ শিলবোৰ মাৰি পঠিয়াবৰ বাবে দূর্গবোৰৰ ওপৰত আৰু চিদ্ৰ থকা স্তম্ভবোৰত সেই যন্ত্ৰবোৰ ৰাখিছিল। পাছত তেওঁ বৰকৈ সহায় পাই অতি শক্তিমান হৈ উঠিছিল। এইদৰে তেওঁৰ যশস্যা দূৰ দেশলৈকে বিয়পি গৈছিল।
And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones. And his name spread far abroad; for he was helped in a wonderful manner, till he was strong.
16 ১৬ কিন্তু শক্তিমান হোৱাৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ মন এনেকৈ গর্বিত হ’ল যে, তেওঁ দুষ্কৰ্ম কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে; তেওঁ নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে সত্যলঙ্ঘন কৰিলে। তেওঁ ধূপবেদীৰ ওপৰত ধূপ জ্বলাবলৈ যিহোৱাৰ মন্দিৰত সোমাল।
But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to [his] destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.
And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him eighty priests of the LORD, [that were] valiant men:
18 ১৮ তেওঁলোকে উজ্জিয়া ৰজাৰ সম্মুখত থিয় হৈ তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে উজ্জিয়া, যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাবলৈ আপোনাৰ অধিকাৰ নাই; কিন্তু ধূপ জ্বলাবৰ বাবে পবিত্ৰীকৃত হোৱা হাৰোণৰ সন্তান যি পুৰোহিতসকল, তেওঁলোকৰহে অধিকাৰ আছে। আপুনি পবিত্ৰ স্থানৰ পৰা বাহিৰ হওঁক, কিয়নো আপুনি সত্যলঙ্ঘন কৰিলে৷ ইয়াতে ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ পৰা আপুনি সন্মান নাপাব।”
And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said to him, [It appertaineth] not to thee, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither [will it be] for thy honor from the LORD God.
19 ১৯ তাতে উজ্জিয়াৰ বৰ খং উঠিল৷ সেই সময়ত ধূপ জ্বলাবৰ বাবে তেওঁৰ হাতত এটা ধূপাধাৰ আছিল৷ পুৰোহিতসকললৈ তেওঁৰ খং উঠাৰ সময়ত, মন্দিৰত পুৰোহিতসকলৰ সন্মুখত ধূপবেদীৰ ওচৰত তেওঁৰ কপালত কুষ্ঠ ৰোগ ওলাই পৰিল।
Then Uzziah was wroth, and [had] a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.
20 ২০ তেতিয়া অজৰিয়া, প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু আন পুৰোহিতসকলে তেওঁলৈ চালে আৰু তেওঁৰ কপালত কুষ্ঠ ৰোগ হোৱা দেখিলে। তেতিয়া তেওঁক সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা বেগাই খেদি দিলে; তেওঁ নিজেও বাহিৰলৈ যাবৰ বাবে খৰখেদা কৰিলে; কিয়নো যিহোৱাই তেওঁক আঘাত কৰিছিল৷
And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests looked upon him, and behold, he [was] leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.
21 ২১ তেতিয়াৰে পৰা ৰজা উজ্জিয়া মৃত্যুৰ দিনলৈকে কুষ্ঠৰোগী হৈ থাকিল৷ তেওঁ বেলেগ ঘৰত বাস কৰিছিল; কিয়নো তেওঁ কুষ্ঠৰোগী আছিল। তেওঁক যিহোৱাৰ মন্দিৰৰ পৰা বিচ্ছেদ কৰা হৈছিল; তাতে তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যোথমে ৰাজগৃহৰ অধ্যক্ষ হৈ দেশৰ লোকসকলক শাসন কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
And Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house, [being] a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son [was] over the king's house, judging the people of the land.
22 ২২ উজ্জিয়াৰ বিশেষ বিষয়বোৰ প্ৰথমৰ পৰা শেষলৈকে সকলো কথা আমোচৰ পুত্ৰ যিচয়া ভাববাদীয়ে লিখা পুস্তকত আছে।
Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, were written by Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amos.
23 ২৩ পাছত উজ্জিয়া তেওঁৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ সৈতে নিদ্ৰিত হ’ল; তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ লগত, ৰজাসকলৰ মৈদামনীত তেওঁক মৈদাম দিলে৷ কাৰণ তেওঁলোকে কৈছিল, “তেওঁ কুষ্ঠৰোগী।” তাৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যোথম তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা হ’ল।
So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which [belonged] to the kings; for they said, He [is] a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
