1 ১ এদিন চৌলৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথনে তেওঁৰ ডেকা অস্ত্ৰবাহকক ক’লে, “আহাঁ আমি পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ নগৰ ৰক্ষী সৈন্য দলৰ আন দিশে যাওঁ।” কিন্তু তেওঁ এই কথা পিতৃক নক’লে।
And when a certain day arrived, Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man that bore his armour, Come, and let us go over to Messab of the Philistines that is on the other side yonder; but he told not his father.
2 ২ সেই সময়ত চৌল গিবিয়াৰ বাহিৰ ভাগৰ মিগ্ৰোণত থকা এজোপা ডালিম গছৰ তলত আছিল। তেওঁৰ লগত প্ৰায় ছশ লোক আছিল,
And Saul sat on the top of the hill under the pomegranate tree that is in Magdon, and there were with him about six hundred men.
3 ৩ তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে যিহোৱাৰ পুৰোহিত এলী চীলোত আছিল, তেওঁৰ পৰিনাতি পীনহচৰ নাতি ঈখাবোদৰ ককায়েক অহীটুবৰ পুত্ৰ যি অহিয়া তেওঁ এফোদ বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধি তেওঁৰ লগত আছিল; আৰু যোনাথন যে গ’ল, সেই কথা লোকসকলে জনা নাছিল।
And Achia son of Achitob, the brother of Jochabed the son of Phinees, the son of Heli, [was] the priest of God in Selom wearing an ephod: and the people knew not that Jonathan was gone.
4 ৪ যিবোৰ বাটেৰে যোনাথনে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ নগৰ ৰক্ষী সৈন্যদলৰ ওচৰলৈ যাব খুজিছিল, সেইবোৰ বাটৰ দুয়োকাষে ওখ শিলৰ পাহাৰ আছিল। এফালৰ শিলৰ পাহাৰটোৰ নাম বোচেচ আৰু আন ফালৰ পাহাৰটোৰ নাম চেনি।
And in the midst of the passage whereby Jonathan sought to pass over to the encampment of the Philistines, there was both a sharp rock on this side, and a sharp rock on the other side: the name of the one [was] Bases, and the name of the other Senna.
The one way [was] northward to one coming to Machmas, and the other way [was] southward to one coming to Gabae.
6 ৬ যোনাথনে তেওঁৰ ডেকা অস্ত্ৰবাহকক ক’লে, “আহা, আমি সেই অচুন্নৎ নগৰ ৰক্ষী সৈন্য দলক অতিক্ৰম কৰি যাওঁ, যিহোৱাই হয়তো আমাৰ পক্ষে কাম কৰিব; কাৰণ বহু লোকৰ পৰাই হওঁক বা কম সংখ্যক লোকৰ পৰাই হওঁক, উদ্ধাৰ কৰিবলৈ যিহোৱাক বাধা কৰোঁতা কোনো নাই।”
And Jonathan said to the young man that bore his armour, Come, let us go over to Messab of these uncircumcised, if [perhaps] the Lord may do something for us; for the Lord is not straitened to save by many or by few.
7 ৭ তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকে ক’লে, “আপুনি মনত যি ভাবিছে তাকেই কৰক; আপুনি আগুৱাই যাওক; মই আপোনাৰ লগত আছোঁ, আপুনি যি আদেশ দিয়ে মই পালন কৰিম।”
And his armour-bearer said to him, Do all that your heart inclines towards: behold, I [am] with you, my heart [is] as your heart.
And Jonathan said, Behold, we will go over to the men, and will come down suddenly upon them.
9 ৯ যদি তেওঁলোকে আমাক কয়, ‘আমি তোমালোকৰ ওচৰলৈ নোযোৱালৈকে অপেক্ষা কৰা, তেনেহ’লে আমি নিজ ঠাইতে থাকিম, তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰলৈ নাযাওঁ।
If they should say thus to us, Stand aloof there until we shall send you word; then we will stand still by ourselves, and will not go up against them.
10 ১০ কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে যদি কয়, ‘আমাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহাঁ’, তেনেহ’লে আমি যাম; কাৰণ যিহোৱাই যে, তেওঁলোকক আমাৰ হাতত শোধাই দিলে; এয়ে আমালৈ চিন হ’ব।”
[But] if they should say thus to us, Come up to us; then will we go up, for the Lord has delivered them into our hands; this [shall be] a sign to us.
11 ১১ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোক দুয়োজনে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সৈন্যদলৰ আগত নিজক দেখা দিওঁতে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলে ক’লে, “সৌৱা চোৱা, ইব্ৰীয়াসকল যি যি গাতত লুকাই আছিল সেইবোৰৰ এতিয়া ওলাই আহিছে।”
And they both went in to Messab of the Philistines; and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of their Caves, where they had hidden themselves.
12 ১২ পাছত সেই নগৰ ৰক্ষী সৈন্যদলৰ লোকসকলে যোনাথন আৰু অস্ত্ৰবাহকক মাতি ক’লে, “আমাৰ ওচৰলৈ উঠি আহাঁ, আমি তোমালোকক কিছুমান বস্তু দেখুৱাম।” যোনাথনে তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকক ক’লে, “মোৰ পাছে পাছে উঠি আহাঁ, কাৰণ যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকক ইস্ৰায়েলৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিলে।”
And the men of Messab answered Jonathan and his armour-bearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will show you a thing: and Jonathan said to his armour-bearer, Come up after me, for the Lord has delivered them into the hands of Israel.
13 ১৩ যোনাথনে হাতে-ভৰিয়ে বগাই উঠি গ’ল আৰু তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহক তেওঁৰ পাছত গ’ল; সেই সময়ত লোকসকল যোনাথনৰ সন্মুখত মৃত্যু মুখত পৰিল আৰু তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকে তাৰে কিছুমানক বধ কৰিলে।
And Jonathan went up on his hands and feet, and his armour-bearer with him; and they looked on the face of Jonathan, and he struck them, and his armour-bearer did strike [them] after him.
14 ১৪ যোনাথন আৰু তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকে কৰা এই প্ৰথম আক্ৰমণত এক একৰ মাটিৰ প্ৰায় আধা সীৰলু দৈর্ঘ্যত প্ৰায় বিশ জন মান লোকক বধ কৰিলে।
And the first slaughter which Jonathan and his armour-bearer effected was twenty men, with darts and slings, and pebbles of the field.
15 ১৫ তাতে ছাউনিত, পথাৰত, আৰু লোকসকলৰ মাজত আতংক হ’ল, আনকি নগৰৰ প্ৰহৰী সৈন্যদল আৰু আক্ৰমণকাৰীসকলৰ মাজতো আতংকৰ সৃষ্টি হ’ল। তাতে ভয়ানক আতংকৰ সৃষ্টি হ’ল।
And there was dismay in the camp, and in the field; and all the people in Messab, and the spoilers were amazed; and they would not act, and the land was terror-struck, and there was dismay from the lord.
16 ১৬ তেতিয়া বিন্যামীনৰ গিবীয়াত থকা চৌলৰ প্ৰহৰীসকলে দেখিলে যে, লোক সমূহ ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন হৈ ইফালে-সিফালে গৈছে।
And the watchmen of Saul saw in Gabaa of Benjamin, and, behold, the army was thrown into confusion on every side.
17 ১৭ তাতে চৌলে তেওঁৰ লগত থকা লোকসকলক ক’লে, “গণি চোৱা আমাৰ মাজৰ কোন হেৰাল।” যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে গণি চালে, তেতিয়া যোনাথন আৰু তেওঁৰ অস্ত্ৰবাহকক নাপালে।
And Saul said to the people with him, Number yourselves now, and see who has gone out from you: and they numbered themselves, and behold, Jonathan and his armour-bearer were not found.
18 ১৮ চৌলে অহিয়াক ক’লে, “ঈশ্বৰৰ কার্যৰ বাবে ব্যৱহাৰিত হোৱা এফোদ বস্ত্ৰ ইয়ালৈ আনা।” কাৰণ সেই দিনা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সৈন্যসকলৰ সৈতে অহিয়াই এফোদ বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধি আছিল।
And Saul said to Achia, Bring the ephod; for he wore the ephod in that day before Israel.
19 ১৯ যেতিয়া চৌলে পুৰোহিতৰ লগত কথা পাতি আছিল, তেতিয়া পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ ছাউনিত একেৰাহে উত্তেজনা বৃদ্ধি হৈ গৈছিল। তাতে চৌলে পুৰোহিতক ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ হাত গুচাওক।”
And it came to pass while Saul was speaking to the priest, that the sound in the camp of the Philistines continued to increase greatly; and Saul said to the priest, Withdraw your hands.
20 ২০ তাৰ পাছত চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ লগত থকা লোকসকল গোট খাই ৰণলৈ গ’ল। প্ৰত্যেক জন ফিলষ্টীয়ানৰ তৰোৱাল তেওঁৰ দেশৰ লোকসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠিল আৰু তাত অধিক ভুল বুজা-বুজি হ’ল।
And Saul went up and all the people that were with him, and they come to the battle: and, behold, [every] man's sword was against his neighbour, a very great confusion.
21 ২১ পূর্বৰে পৰা পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ লগত থকা ইব্ৰীয়াসকল, আৰু যি সকল তেওঁলোকৰ লগত ছাউনিলৈ গৈছিল, তেওঁলোকেও চৌল আৰু যোনাথনৰ লগত থকা ইস্ৰায়েলী লোক সকলৰ লগত যোগ দিছিল।
And the servants who had been before with the Philistines, who had gone up to the army, turned themselves also to be with the Israelites who were with Saul and Jonathan.
22 ২২ যেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েল লোকসকল ইফ্ৰয়িম পৰ্বতীয়া অঞ্চলত লুকাই আছিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ পলোৱাৰ বাতৰি শুনাৰ পাছতো তেওঁলোকৰ পাছে পাছে যুদ্ধ ক্ষেত্ৰলৈ খেদি গ’ল।
And all the Israelites who were hidden in mount Ephraim heard also that the Philistines fled; and they also gather themselves after them to battle: and the Lord saved Israel in that day; and the war passed through Bamoth; and all the people with Saul were about ten thousand men.
And the battle extended itself to every city in the mount Ephraim.
24 ২৪ সেইদিনা ইস্ৰায়েল লোকসকল ক্লেশত পৰিলে কাৰণ চৌলে তেওঁলোকক শপত দি ক’লে, “মই শত্ৰুবোৰক প্ৰতিশোধ নোলোৱলৈকে সন্ধ্যাৰ আগেয়ে যি কোনোৱে আহাৰ কৰিব, সি অভিশপ্ত হ’ব।” এই কাৰণে কোনেও আহাৰ গ্ৰহণ নকৰিলে।
And Saul committed a great trespass of ignorance in that day, and he lays a curse on the people, saying, Cursed [is] the man who shall eat bread before the evening; so I will avenge myself on my enemy: and none of the people tasted bread, though all the land was dining.
And Jaal was a wood abounding in swarms of bees on the face of the ground.
26 ২৬ যেতিয়া তেওঁলোক অৰণ্যত সোমাই গৈছিল, তেতিয়া সেই মৌ বৈ থকা দেখিও কোনেও নাখালে কাৰণ লোকসকলে সেই শপতলৈ ভয় কৰিলে।
And the people went into the place of the bees, and, behold, they continued speaking; and, behold, there was none that put his hand to his mouth, for the people feared the oath of the Lord.
27 ২৭ কিন্তু যোনাথনে তেওঁৰ পিতৃয়ে লোকসকলক দিয়া শপতৰ কথা শুনা নাছিল। সেই কাৰণে তেওঁ নিজৰ হাতত থকা লাখুটিৰ আগ মৌ-ছাকৰ মাজত সোমোৱাই দিলে আৰু হাতত লৈ মুখত দিলে; তাতে তেওঁৰ চকু উজ্জ্বল হ’ল।
And Jonathan had not heard when his father adjured the people; and he reached forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, an dipped it into the honeycomb, and returned his hand to his mouth, and his eyes recovered their sight.
28 ২৮ তেতিয়া লোকসকলৰ মাজৰ এজনে ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ পিতৃয়ে লোকসকলক শপত দি এই দৃঢ় আজ্ঞা কৰিছিল যে, যিজনে আজি আহাৰ কৰিব, সি অভিশপ্ত হব; যদিও লোকসকল ভোকত দুৰ্বল হ’য়।”
And one of the people answered and said, Your father solemnly adjured the people, saying, Cursed [is] the man who shall eat bread today. And the people were very faint,
29 ২৯ তেতিয়া যোনাথনে ক’লে, “মোৰ পিতৃয়ে ৰাজ্যক সঙ্কটত পেলাইছে। চোৱা, এই অকণমান মৌ চাকি চোৱাত মোৰ চকু কেনেদৰে উজ্জ্বল হৈ গ’ল!
and Jonathan knew it, and said, My father has destroyed the land: see how my eyes have received sight [now] that I have tasted a little of this honey.
30 ৩০ কিমান ভাল হ’লহেতেন! আজি যদি শত্ৰুবোৰৰ লুটদ্ৰব্যৰ পৰা পোৱা আহাৰ লোকসকলে ইচ্ছামতে ভোজন কৰিবলৈ পালেহেঁতেন? কিয়নো এতিয়াও পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ মাজত মহা-সংহাৰ হোৱা নাই।”
Surely if the people had this day eaten freely of the spoils of their enemies which they found, the slaughter amongst the Philistines would have been greater.
31 ৩১ সেইদিনা তেওঁলোকে মিকমচৰ পৰা অয়ালোনলৈকে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলক আক্ৰমণ কৰিলে। সেয়ে লোকসকল অতিশয় ক্লান্ত হ’ল।
And on that day he struck some of the Philistines in Machmas; and the people were very weary.
32 ৩২ তাতে লোকসকল লুভীয়া লোকৰ দৰে লুটদ্ৰব্যৰ ওচৰলৈ দৌৰি গৈ মেৰ, ছাগলী, গৰু, আৰু দামুৰি ধৰি মাটিত বধ কৰিলে আৰু তেজেৰে সৈতে মঙহ খাবলৈ ধৰিলে।
And the people turned to the spoil; and the people took flocks, and herds, and calves, and killed them on the ground, and the people ate with the blood.
33 ৩৩ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে চৌলক ক’লে, “চাওক, লোক সকলে তেজেৰে সৈতে মঙহ ভোজন কৰি যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পাপ কৰিছে।” চৌলে ক’লে, “তোমালোক অবিশ্বাসীৰ দৰে কাম কৰিছা, এতিয়া, মোৰ ওচৰলৈ এটা ডাঙৰ শিল আনা”;
And it was reported to Saul, saying, The people have sinned against the Lord, eating with the blood: and Saul said, Out of Getthaim roll a great stone to me hither.
34 ৩৪ চৌলে পুনৰ ক’লে, “তোমালোকে লোকসকলৰ মাজলৈ যোৱা আৰু এইদৰে তেওঁলোকক কোৱা, ‘তোমালোক প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ গৰু, মেৰ আৰু ছাগলী মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আনি ইয়াতে বধ কৰি ভোজন কৰা; কিন্তু তেজেৰে সৈতে মঙহ খাই যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পাপ নকৰিবা’।” সেয়ে প্ৰত্যেকজন লোকে নিজ নিজ গৰু লগত আনি সেই ৰাতি সেই ঠাইতে বধ কৰিলে।
And Saul said, Disperse yourselves amongst the people, and tell them to bring hither every one his calf, and every one his sheep: and let them kill it on this [stone] and sin not against the Lord in eating with the blood: and the people brought each one that which was in his hand, and they killed [them] there.
35 ৩৫ চৌলে যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে এটা যজ্ঞবেদী নিৰ্মাণ কৰিলে; যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে তেওঁ নিৰ্মাণ কৰা সেয়ে প্ৰথম বেদি।
And Saul built an altar there to the Lord: this was the first altar that Saul built to the Lord.
36 ৩৬ তাৰ পাছত চৌলে ক’লে, “আহা আমি এই ৰাতি পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ পাছত খেদি গৈ, ৰাতিপুৱা নোহোৱালৈকে তেওঁলোকৰ বস্তু লুট কৰোঁ আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ একো অৱশিষ্ট নাৰাখোহক;” তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে তেওঁক ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ দৃষ্টিত যি ভাল দেখে, তাকেই কৰক।” তেতিয়া পুৰোহিতে ক’লে, “আহা, আমি ইয়াতে ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰ চাপোঁহক।”
And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines this night, and let us plunder amongst them till the day break, and let us not leave a man amongst them. And they said, Do all that is good in your sight: and the priest said, let us draw near hither to God.
37 ৩৭ তাৰ পাছত চৌলে ঈশ্বৰ গুৰিত সুধিলে, “মই পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ পাছত যামনে? তুমি সিহঁতক ইস্ৰায়েলৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিবানে?” কিন্তু সেইদিনা যিহোৱাই উত্তৰ নিদিলে।
And Saul enquired of God, If I go down after the Philistines, will you deliver them into the hands of Israel? And he answered him not in that day.
38 ৩৮ তেতিয়া চৌলে ক’লে, “হে লোকসকলৰ অধিপতি সকল, তোমালোক ওচৰ চাপি আহাঁ, আৰু আজিৰ এই পাপ কি দোষত হ’ল, তাৰ বুজ-বিচাৰ কৰি চোৱা।
And Saul said, Bring hither all the chiefs of Israel, and know and see by whom this sin has been committed this day.
39 ৩৯ কিয়নো ইস্ৰায়েলৰ উদ্ধাৰকৰ্তা যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, যদি মোৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথনৰ দোষত এয়া হৈছে, তেনেহলে সিও নিশ্চয়কৈ মৰিব।” কিন্তু লোকসকলৰ মাজত কোনেও তেওঁক উত্তৰ নিদিলে।
For as the Lord lives who has saved Israel, if answer should be against my son Jonathan, he shall surely die. And there was no one that answered out of all the people.
40 ৪০ পাছত তেওঁ গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলক ক’লে, “তোমালোক এফালে থাকা, মই আৰু মোৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথন আনফালে থাকিম।” তাতে লোকসকলে চৌলক ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ দৃ্ষ্টিত যি ভাল দেখে, তাকেই কৰক।”
And he said to all the men of Israel, You shall be under subjection, and I an Jonathan my son will be under subjection: and the people said to Saul, Do that which is good in your sight.
41 ৪১ তেতিয়া চৌলে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাক ক’লে, প্ৰকৃততে কি হয়, তাক দেখুৱাই দিয়া। তাতে চিঠি খেলৰ দ্বাৰাই যোনাথন আৰু চৌলক নিৰ্ণয় কৰা হ’ল, কিন্তু লোক সমূহ এৰা পৰিল।
And Saul said, O Lord God of Israel, why have you not answered your servant this day? [is] the iniquity in me, or in Jonathan my son? Lord God of Israel, give clear [manifestations]; and if [the lot] should declare this, give, I pray you, to your people of Israel, give, I pray, holiness. And Jonathan and Saul are taken, and the people escaped.
42 ৪২ তেতিয়া চৌলে ক’লে, “মোৰ আৰু মোৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথনৰ মাজত চিঠি খেল কৰা।” তাতে যোনাথনক নিৰ্ণয় কৰা হ’ল।
And Saul said, Cast [lots] between me and my son Jonathan: whoever the Lord shall cause to be taken by lot, let him die: and the people said to Saul, This thing is not [to be done]: and Saul prevailed against the people, and they cast [lots] between him and Jonathan his son, and Jonathan is taken by lot.
43 ৪৩ তেতিয়া চৌলে যোনাথনক ক’লে, “তুমি কি কৰিলা, সেই বিষয়ে মোক কোৱা;” তাতে যোনাথনে তেওঁক ক’লে, “মোৰ হাতত থকা লাখুটিৰ আগেৰে যৎকিঞ্চিৎ মৌৰস লৈ সঁচাকৈ চাকিছিলোঁ হয়; চাওঁক, মই মৰিব লগা হওঁ।”
And Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what you have done: and Jonathan told him, and said, I did indeed taste a little honey, with the end of my staff that was in my hand, and, behold! I [am to] die.
44 ৪৪ পাছত চৌলে ক’লে, “যদি তুমি নমৰা, তেনেহলে ঈশ্বৰে মোলৈকে অধিক কৰক, কাৰণ হে যোনাথন তুমি অৱশ্যে মৰিব লাগিব।”
And Saul said to him, God do so to me, and more also, you shall surely die today.
45 ৪৫ তেতিয়া লোকসকলে চৌলক ক’লে, “যিজনে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত এনে উদ্ধাৰ কাৰ্য সাধন কৰিলে, সেই যোনাথন মৰিব লাগিব নে? এনে নহওক; যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, তেওঁ মুৰৰ এডালি চুলিও মাটিত নপৰিব; কিয়নো তেওঁ আজি ঈশ্বৰেৰে সৈতে কাৰ্য কৰিলে।” এইদৰে লোকসকলে যোনাথনক ৰক্ষা কৰা বাবে তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু নহ’ল।
And the people said to Saul, Shall he that has wrought this great salvation in Israel be put to death this day? [As] the Lord lives, there shall not fall to the ground one of the hairs of his head; for the people of God have wrought successfully this day. And the people prayed for Jonathan in that day, and he died not.
46 ৪৬ পাছত চৌলে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলক খেদি যোৱাৰ পৰা উভটি আহিল; আৰু ফিলিষ্টীয়া সকলো নিজ নিজ ঠাইলৈ গুচি গ’ল।
And Saul went up from following the Philistines; and the Philistines departed to their place.
47 ৪৭ চৌলে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সম্পূৰ্ণ ক্ষমতা নিজৰ হাতত ল’লে। তাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ চৌদিশে যিমান শত্ৰু আছিল, সেই সকলোৰে বিৰুদ্ধে তেওঁ যুদ্ধ কৰিলে। তেওঁ মোৱাব, অম্মোনীয়া, চোবাৰ ৰজা ইদোম আৰু পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সৈতে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে। তেওঁ যি দিশত গৈছিল, সেই দিশতে শত্ৰুৰ ওপৰত জয় লাভ কৰিছিল।
And Saul received the kingdom, by lot he inherits the office [of ruling] over Israel: and he fought against all his enemies round about, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against the children of Edom, and against Baethaeor, and against the king of Suba, and against the Philistines: wherever he turned, he was victorious.

And Kis [was] the father of Saul, and Ner, the father of Abenezer, [was] son of Jamin, son of Abiel.
52 ৫২ চৌলৰ জীৱনৰ সকলো সময়তে পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ সৈতে যুদ্ধ হৈ আছিল; সেয়ে তেওঁ শক্তিশালী আৰু সাহসী বলৱান পুৰুষক দেখিলেই নিজৰ লগত ৰাখিছিল।
And the war was vehement against the Philistines all the days of Saul; and when Saul saw any mighty man, and any valiant man, then he took them to himself.
