১ রাজাবলি 13
1 ১ সেই সময়ত ঈশ্বৰৰ এজন লোক যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ প্ৰভাৱত যিহূদাৰ পৰা বৈৎএললৈ আহি আছিল। তেতিয়া যাৰবিয়ামে ধূপ জ্বলাবৰ কাৰণে যজ্ঞ-বেদীৰ কাষত থিয় হৈ আছিল৷
Look, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD to Beth El: and Jeroboam was standing by the altar to burn incense.
2 ২ তেতিয়া সেই লোকজনে যজ্ঞবেদীৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ প্ৰভাৱত এই কথা ঘোষণা কৰিলে বোলে, “হে বেদী, বেদী, যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘চোৱা, দায়ুদৰ বংশত যোচিয়া নামেৰে এটি পুত্ৰ জন্মিব আৰু তোমাৰ ওপৰত ধুপ জ্বলাওঁতা সেই পবিত্র ঠাইৰ পুৰোহিতসকলক তোমাৰ ওপৰত বলিদান কৰিব; আৰু তোমাৰ ওপৰত মনুষ্যৰ হাড় দগ্ধ কৰিব’।”
He cried against the altar by the word of the LORD, and said, "Altar, altar, thus says the LORD: 'Look, a son shall be born to the house of David, Josiah by name. On you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and they will burn men's bones on you.'"
3 ৩ এনেতে সেইদিনাই তেওঁ এটা চিন নিৰূপণ কৰি ক’লে, “চোৱা, যিহোৱাই কোৱা প্ৰমাণৰ চিন এই: এই যজ্ঞবেদী ফাটি ভাগ হৈ যাব, আৰু তাৰ ওপৰত থকা ভস্ম মাটিত ছটিওৱা হ’ব’।”
He gave a sign the same day, saying, "This is the sign which the LORD has spoken: Look, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out."
4 ৪ যেতিয়া ৰজাই, বৈৎএলত থকা যজ্ঞবেদীৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ঘোষণা কৰা সেই ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনৰ কথা শুনিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ যজ্ঞবেদীৰ পৰা হাত মেলি ক’লে, “তেওঁক ধৰা৷” তেতিয়া সেই ঈশ্ৱৰৰ লোকজনৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মেলা ৰজাৰ নিজ হাত এনেকৈ শুকাই গ’ল যে, তেওঁ সেই হাত পুনৰ কোঁচাব নোৱাৰিলে।
It happened, when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Bethel, that Jeroboam put out his hand from the altar, saying, "Seize him." His hand, which he put out against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back again to himself.
5 ৫ আৰু ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনে ঈশ্বৰৰ বাক্য প্ৰভাৱত যি চিন নিৰূপণ কৰিছিল, সেই অনুসাৰে যজ্ঞবেদী ফাটি ভাগ হ’ল আৰু যজ্ঞবেদীৰ পৰা ভস্ম পৰি গ’ল।
The altar also was split apart, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.
6 ৬ তেতিয়া ৰজাই ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মোৰ হাত যেন পুনৰায় সুস্থ হয়, এই কাৰণে তুমি নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ আগত অনুগ্ৰহ যাচনা কৰি মোৰ কাৰণে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা।” তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰৰ সেই লোকজনে যিহোৱালৈ প্ৰার্থনা কৰিলে আৰু ৰজাৰ হাত সুস্থ হৈ আগৰ দৰে হ’ল।
The king answered the man of God, "Now plead for the favor of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again." The man of God entreated the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.
7 ৭ ৰজাই ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনক ক’লে, “তুমি মোৰ লগত ঘৰলৈ আহি প্ৰাণ জুৰুউৱা আৰু তুমি যি কর্ম কৰিলা তাৰ বাবে মই তোমাক এক উপহাৰ দিম।”
The king said to the man of God, "Come home with me, and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward."
8 ৮ কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনে ৰজাক ক’লে, “তুমি যদি মোক তোমাৰ আধা সম্পত্তিও দিয়া, তথাপি মই তোমাৰ লগত নাযাও আৰু এই ঠাইত ভোজন বা জল পান নকৰিম,
The man of God said to the king, "Even if you gave me half of your house, I would not go in with you, neither would I eat bread nor drink water in this place;
9 ৯ কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰাই মোক এই দৰে আজ্ঞা দিয়া হৈছিল যে, ‘তুমি অন্ন ভোজন আৰু জল পান নকৰিবা, আনকি যি বাটেদি সেই ঠাইলৈ গৈছিলা, সেই একে বাটেদি ঘূৰিও নাহিবা’।”
for so was it commanded me by the word of the LORD, saying, 'You shall eat no bread, nor drink water, neither return by the way that you came.'"
So he went another way, and did not return by the way that he came to Bethel.
11 ১১ সেই সময়ত বৈৎএলত এজন বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী বাস কৰিছিল৷ তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰসকলৰ মাজৰ এজনে, সেই দিনা বৈৎএলত ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনে কৰা সকলো কৰ্মৰ কথা, তেওঁক আহি ক’লে৷ তেওঁ ৰজাৰ আগত যি কথা কৈছিল, সেই বিষয়েও তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰসকলে তেওঁৰ আগত ক’লে।
Now there lived an old prophet in Bethel; and one of his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel. And they also told their father the words which he had spoken to the king.
12 ১২ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ পিতৃয়ে তেওঁলোকক সুধিলে, “তেওঁ কোন বাটেদি গ’ল?” কিয়নো তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰসকলে যিহূদাৰ পৰা অহা ঈশ্বৰৰ সেই লোকজনে কোন বাটেদি গৈছিল, তাক তেওঁলোকে দেখিছিল।
Their father said to them, "Which way did he go?" Now his sons showed him the way the man of God went, who came from Judah.
13 ১৩ তেতিয়া তেওঁ নিজ পুত্ৰসকলক ক’লে, মোৰ কাৰণে গাধত জীন লগোৱা। তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ কাৰণে গাধত জীন লগালে আৰু তেওঁ তাৰ ওপৰত উঠি গুচি গ’ল৷
He said to his sons, "Saddle the donkey for me." So they saddled the donkey for him; and he rode on it.
14 ১৪ সেই বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী জনে ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনৰ পাছত গৈ, তেওঁক এজোপা এলা গছৰ তলত বহি থকা পালে; আৰু তাতে তেওঁ ঈশ্ৱৰৰ লোকজনক সুধিলে, “যিহূদাৰ পৰা অহা ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজন আপুনিয়েই নে?” তেওঁ ক’লে, “হয় মইয়েই।”
He went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak. He said to him, "Are you the man of God who came from Judah?" He said, "I am."
Then he said to him, "Come home with me, and eat bread."
16 ১৬ তেতিয়া তেওঁ বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীজনক ক’লে, “মই তোমাৰ লগত ঘূৰি যাব আৰু তোমাৰ লগত ঘৰত সোমাব নোৱাৰোঁ; আৰু তোমাৰ লগত সেই ঠাইত অন্ন ভোজন আৰু জল পান নকৰোঁ,
He said, "I may not return with you, nor go in with you; neither will I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place.
17 ১৭ কিয়নো যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰাই মোক আজ্ঞা দিয়া হৈছে যে, ‘তুমি অন্ন ভোজন আৰু জল পান নকৰিবা, আৰু যি বাটেদি যাবা, সেই বাটেদি ঘূৰি নাহিবা’।”
For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, 'You shall eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that you came.'"
18 ১৮ তেতিয়া বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীজনে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ নিচিনা ময়ো এজন ভাববাদী আৰু এজন দূতে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰাই মোক এই কথা ক’লে, ‘তেওঁ অন্ন ভোজন আৰু জল পান কৰিবৰ কাৰণে, তুমি যেন তেওঁক তোমাৰ ঘৰলৈ ঘূৰাই আনাগৈ’।” কিন্তু বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীজনে তেওঁৰ আগত মিছা কথা কৈছিল।
He said to him, "I also am a prophet as you are; and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, 'Bring him back with you into your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.'" He lied to him.
So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house, and drank water.
It happened, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came to the prophet who brought him back;
21 ২১ আৰু তাতে তেওঁ যিহূদাৰ পৰা অহা ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনৰ আগত ঘোষণা কৰি ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘কিয়নো তুমি যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আচৰণ কৰিলা আৰু তোমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই তোমাক দিয়া আজ্ঞা পালন নকৰিলা,
and he cried to the man of God who came from Judah, saying, "Thus says the LORD, 'Because you have been disobedient to the mouth of the LORD, and have not kept the commandment which the LORD your God commanded you,
22 ২২ আৰু তোমাক অন্ন ভোজন আৰু জল পান নকৰিবা বুলি তেওঁ যি ঠাইৰ বিষয়ে তোমাক কৈছিল, তুমি ঘূৰি আহি সেই ঠাইতে অন্ন ভোজন আৰু জল পান কৰিলা, এই কাৰণে তোমাৰ মৃতদেহটোক তোমাৰ পৈতৃক মৈদামত মৈদাম দিয়া নহ’ব।”
but came back, and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he said to you, "Eat no bread, and drink no water"; your body shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.'"
23 ২৩ পাছত তেওঁ ভোজন পান কৰি উঠিল৷ তেতিয়া সেই বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীজনে ঘূৰাই অনা ঈশ্ৱৰৰ লোকজনৰ কাৰণে গাধত জীন লগালে৷
It happened, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.
24 ২৪ যেতিয়া ঈশ্ৱৰৰ সেই লোক জনে প্ৰস্থান কৰিলে, তেতিয়া বাটৰ মাজত এটা সিংহই তেওঁক পাই বধ কৰিলে৷ তাতে তেওঁৰ মৃতদেহটো বাটত পৰি থাকিল৷ তাৰ কাষত গাধটো থিয় হৈ থাকিল আৰু মৃতদেহটোৰ কাষত সিংহটোও থিয় হৈ থাকিল।
When he had gone, a lion met him by the way, and killed him. His body was cast in the way, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the body.
25 ২৫ পাছত লোকসকলে সেই বাটে অহা যোৱা কৰোঁতে, বাটত পৰি থকা সেই মৃতদেহটো আৰু তাৰ কাষত থিয় হৈ থকা সিংহটো দেখিলে আৰু সেই বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদীজনে বাস কৰা নগৰলৈ আহি তেওঁলোকে সেই বাতৰি দিলে।
Look, men passed by, and saw the body cast in the way, and the lion standing by the body; and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet lived.
26 ২৬ যেতিয়া বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী জনে তেওঁ বাটৰ পৰা ঘূৰাই অনা ভাববাদীজনৰ সেই বাতৰি শুনিলে, তেওঁ ক’লে, “তেওঁ ঈশ্বৰৰ সেই লোক, যিজনে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আচৰণ কৰিছিল৷ এই কাৰণে যিহোৱাই তেওঁক কোৱা বাক্য অনুসাৰে তেওঁক সিংহৰ হাতত শোধাই দিলে; তাতে সিংহই তেওঁক আক্ৰমণ কৰি বধ কৰিলে।”
When the prophet who brought him back from the way heard of it, he said, "It is the man of God who was disobedient to the mouth of the LORD. Therefore the LORD has delivered him to the lion, which has mauled him and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke to him."
He spoke to his sons, saying, "Saddle the donkey for me." They saddled it.
28 ২৮ পাছত তেওঁ গৈ বাটত পৰি থকা সেই মৃতদেহটোৰ কাষত থিয় হৈ থকা সেই গাধ আৰু সিংহটোকো দেখিলে৷ সিংহটোৱে মৃতদেহটো খোৱা নাছিল আৰু গাধটোকো আক্ৰমণ কৰা নাছিল৷
He went and found his body cast in the way, and the donkey and the lion standing by the body. The lion had not eaten the body, nor mauled the donkey.
29 ২৯ তেতিয়া সেই ভাববাদীজনে ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকজনৰ মৃতদেহটো তুলি লৈ গাধৰ ওপৰত উঠাই ঘূৰি আহিল৷ আৰু তেওঁৰ কাৰণে বিলাপ কৰিবলৈ আৰু তেওঁক মৈদাম দিবলৈ নিজ নগৰলৈ আহিল।
The prophet took up the body of the man of God, and laid it on the donkey, and brought it back. And he came to the city of the old prophet to mourn and to bury him.
30 ৩০ তেওঁ নিজ লোকসকলৰ মৈদামত তেওঁৰ মৈদাম দিলে; তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে “হায় হায় মোৰ ভাই!”, এই বুলি কৈ তেওঁৰ কাৰণে বিলাপ কৰিলে।
He laid his body in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, "Alas, my brother."
31 ৩১ তেওঁক মৈদাম দিয়াৰ পাছত, বৃদ্ধ ভাববাদী জনে নিজ পুত্ৰসকলক ক’লে, “মোৰ যেতিয়া মৃত্যু হ’ব, তেতিয়া এই যি মৈদামত ঈশ্বৰৰ এই লোকজনক মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল, ইয়াৰ ভিতৰতে মোকো মৈদাম দিবা৷ এওঁৰ অস্থিৰ কাষত মোৰ অস্থি ৰাখিবা।
It happened, after he had buried him, that he spoke to his sons, saying, "When I am dead, then bury me in the tomb in which the man of God is buried. Lay my bones beside his bones.
32 ৩২ কিয়নো বৈৎএলত থকা যজ্ঞবেদীৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আৰু চমৰিয়াৰ নগৰবোৰত থকা পবিত্ৰ ঠাইবোৰত আটাই ঘৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰাই এওঁ যি ঘোষণা কৰিছিল, সেয়ে অৱশ্যে সিদ্ধ হ’ব।”
For the saying which he proclaimed by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, will surely happen."
33 ৩৩ এই ঘটনাৰ পাছত যাৰবিয়ামে নিজৰ কুপথৰ পৰা নুঘূৰিল, কিন্তু পুনৰায় প্ৰজাসকলৰ মাজৰ পৰা লোকসকলক পবিত্ৰ ঠাইবোৰৰ পুৰোহিত নিযুক্ত কৰিলে৷ সেই পবিত্ৰ ঠাইবোৰত পুৰোহিত হৈ সেৱা কৰিবৰ বাবে যিসকল লোকে ইচ্ছা কৰিছিল, তেওঁ তেনে লোকসকলকে পুৰোহিত পাতিছিল।
After this thing Jeroboam did not return from his evil way, but again made priests of the high places from among all the people. He consecrated anyone who wanted to be a priest at the high places.
34 ৩৪ এনে কাৰ্যবোৰে যাৰবিয়ামৰ পৰিয়াললৈ পাপ আনিলে, আৰু এই অপৰাধে বিচ্ছিন্ন কৰি, পৃথিৱীৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ নাম লুপ্ত কৰিলে।
This thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the surface of the earth.
