1 ১ দায়ুদ ৰজাই গোটেই সমাজক ক’লে, “ঈশ্বৰে মোৰ পুত্ৰ চলোমনক মনোনীত কৰিছে, তাৰ বয়স এতিয়াও ক’ম আৰু অভিজ্ঞতাহীন, আৰু এই কাৰ্য অতি গুৰুত্বপূৰ্ণ। কাৰণ এই ৰাজপ্রসাদ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে মানুহৰ বাবে নহয়।
Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, [is yet] young and tender, and the work [is] great: for the palace [is] not for man, but for the LORD God.
2 ২ মোৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ মন্দিৰৰ অৰ্থে যি উত্তম, সেয়ে মই কৰিলোঁ। সোণৰ বস্তু প্রস্তুত কৰিবলৈ সোণ, ৰূপৰ বস্তু প্রস্তুত কৰিবলৈ ৰূপ, পিতলৰ বস্তু প্রস্তুত কৰিবলৈ পিতল, লোহাৰ বস্তু প্রস্তুত কৰিবলৈ লোহা, কাঠৰ বস্তু প্রস্তুত কৰিবলৈ কাঠ মই দিছোঁ। ৰক্তৰাগ পাথৰ, লগাবৰ কাৰণে পাথৰ, মণি-মুকুতাৰ কামৰ বাবে নানা বৰণীয়া পাথৰ, সকলো বিধৰ বহুমূলীয়া পাথৰ আৰু মাৰ্বল পাথৰো মই প্রচুৰ পৰিমাণে দিছোঁ।
Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for [things to be made] of gold, and the silver for [things] of silver, and the brass for [things] of brass, the iron for [things] of iron, and wood for [things] of wood; onyx stones, and [stones] to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
3 ৩ মোৰ ঈশ্বৰৰ গৃহৰ কাৰণে মই আনন্দিত হ’লো, আৰু মোৰ ব্যক্তিগত ভঁৰালৰ পৰা সোণ, ৰূপ ইয়াৰ বাবে দান দিছোঁ। ইয়াৰ উপৰিও পবিত্র মন্দিৰৰ কাৰণে মই সকলো কৰিবলৈ প্রস্তুত।
Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, [which] I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,
[Even] three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses [withal: ]
5 ৫ সোণৰ বস্তু প্রস্তুত কৰিবলৈ সোণ, ৰূপৰ বস্তু প্রস্তুত কৰিবলৈ ৰূপ, আৰু শিল্পকৰ্ম কৰোঁতা সকলে কৰা সকলো ধৰণৰ কামৰ কাৰণে মই সকলো বস্তু দান কৰিলোঁ। আজি কোনে যিহোৱালৈ বৰঙণি দিব আৰু নিজকে তেওঁলৈ উৎসৰ্গ কৰিব?
The gold for [things] of gold, and the silver for [things] of silver, and for all manner of work [to be made] by the hands of artificers. And who [then] is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?
6 ৬ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকৰ পৰিয়ালৰ পূৰ্ব-পুৰুষৰ প্রধান লোকসকল, ইস্ৰায়েল জাতিৰ প্রধান লোকসকল, সহস্ৰপতিসকল, শতপতিসকল, লগতে ৰজাৰ কাৰ্যত থকা কৰ্মচাৰীসকল একেলগে ইচ্ছাকৃত দান দিলে।
Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly,
7 ৭ তেওঁলোকে ঈশ্বৰৰ গৃহৰ কাৰ্য কাৰণে পাঁচ হাজাৰ কিক্কৰ সোণ, অদৰ্কোণ নামেৰে দহ হাজাৰ সোণৰ মোহৰ, দহ হাজাৰ কিক্কৰ ৰূপ, ওঠৰ হাজাৰ কিক্কৰ ৰূপ পিতল, আৰু এক লাখ কিক্কৰ লোহা দিলে।
And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
8 ৮ যিসকলৰ বহুমুলীয়া বাখৰ আছিল, তেওঁলোকে গেৰ্চোনীয়াৰ বংশধৰ যিহীয়েলৰ নিৰীক্ষণত যিহোৱাৰ গৃহৰ ভঁৰালত তাক দিলে।
And they with whom [precious] stones were found gave [them] to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
9 ৯ তেওঁলোকে নিজ ইচ্ছাৰে আৰু সকলো হৃদয়েৰে যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে দান দিয়াৰ কাৰণে প্ৰজাসকলে আনন্দ কৰিলে। ৰজা দায়ূদেও মহা-আনন্দ কৰিলে।
Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
10 ১০ দায়ূদে গোটেই সমাজৰ আগতে যিহোৱাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰিলে। দায়ূদে ক’লে, “হে আমাৰ পিতৃ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা আপুনি যুগে যুগে চিৰকাললৈকে ধন্য।
Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed [be] thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
11 ১১ হে যিহোৱা, আপুনি মহত্ব, পৰাক্ৰমী, প্ৰশংসনীয়, বিজয়ী, আৰু প্ৰতাপী। কাৰণ স্বৰ্গত আৰু পৃথিৱীত যি যি আছে, সেই সকলোৱেই আপোনাৰ। ৰাজ্যও আপোনাৰেই, আৰু চাৰিও দিশে শাসনকৰ্তা ৰূপে যিহোৱা আৰু আপুনি মৰ্য্যদাপূৰ্ণ।
Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine; ] thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
12 ১২ আপোনাৰ পৰাই ধন আৰু গৌৰৱ হয়, আৰু আপুনি সকলোৰে ওপৰত শাসন কৰি আছে। আপোনাৰ হাততেই বল আৰু পৰাক্ৰম আছে। সকলোকে মহত্ব ও শক্তিশালী কৰিবৰ কাৰণে আপোনাৰ অধিকাৰ আছে।
Both riches and honour [come] of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand [is] power and might; and in thine hand [it is] to make great, and to give strength unto all.
Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
14 ১৪ কিন্তু মই নো কোন, আৰু মোৰ লোকসকল নো কোন, যে, আমি এইদৰে নিজ ইচ্ছাৰে দান দিবলৈ আগবাঢ়িব পাৰিছোঁ? কিয়নো সকলো বস্তু আপোনাৰ পৰাই আহে, আৰু আপোনাৰ যি তাকে আমি অনন্দমনেৰে আপোনাক দিছোঁ।
But who [am] I, and what [is] my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things [come] of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
15 ১৫ কাৰণ আমাৰ সকলো পূৰ্ব-পুৰুষ সকলৰ দৰে আমিও আপোনাৰ আগত অচিনাকি আৰু ভ্রমণকাৰী লোক। পৃথিৱীত আমাৰ দিনবোৰ ছাঁ স্বৰূপ আৰু এই পৃথিৱীত আমাৰ একো আশা নাই।
For we [are] strangers before thee, and sojourners, as [were] all our fathers: our days on the earth [are] as a shadow, and [there is] none abiding.
16 ১৬ হে আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা, আপোনাৰ, পবিত্ৰ নামৰ উদ্দেশে আপোনাৰ গৃহ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিবলৈ আমি এই যি সকলো সম্পতি সংগ্রহ কৰিলোঁ, এই সকলো আপোনাৰেই আৰু আপোনাৰ পৰাই অহা।
O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name [cometh] of thine hand, and [is] all thine own.
17 ১৭ হে মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ, মই এইয়াও জানো যে, আপুনি হৃদয়ৰো পৰীক্ষা কৰে আৰু সৰলতাত সন্তোষ পায়। মই হ’লে মোৰ মনৰ সৰলতাতহে নিজ ইচ্ছাৰে এই সকলো বস্তু দান দিলোঁ, আৰু এতিয়া এই ঠাইত উপস্থিত হোৱা আপোনাৰ লোকসকলেও নিজ ইচ্ছাৰে আপোনাৰ উদ্দেশে দান দিয়া দেখি মই আনন্দিত হৈছোঁ।
I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
18 ১৮ আমাৰ পূৰ্ব-পুৰুষ অব্ৰাহাম, ইচহাক, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱা, আপুনি আপোনাৰ লোকসকলৰ মনত এই চিন্তাধাৰা সদায় ৰাখক। তেওঁলোকৰ হৃদয় আপোনাতেই মনোনিবেশ কৰক।
O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
19 ১৯ আপোনাৰ আজ্ঞা, সাক্ষ্য, আৰু বিধিবোৰ সম্পূৰ্ণ হৃদয়েৰে পালন কৰিবলৈ, আৰু এই সকলো কাৰ্য কৰিবলৈ, আৰু মই যি গৃহৰ বাবে ব্যৱস্থা কৰি থৈছোঁ, তাক নিৰ্মাণ কৰিবলৈ মোৰ পুত্ৰ চলোমনক সিদ্ধ মন দিয়ক।”
And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all [these things], and to build the palace, [for] the which I have made provision.
20 ২০ দায়ূদে গোটেই সমাজক ক’লে, “এতিয়া তোমালোকে নিজৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰা।” গোটেই সমাজে তেওঁলোকৰ পূৰ্ব-পুৰুষৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰিলে, আৰু মুৰ দোঁৱাই যিহোৱাৰ প্রশংসা কৰিলে আৰু ৰজাৰ আগত প্ৰণিপাত কৰিলে।
And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.
21 ২১ তাৰ পাছ দিনা তেওঁলোকে যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে বলিদান কৰিলে, আৰু যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে হোম-বলি উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে। তেওঁলোকে এক হাজাৰ ষাঁড়-গৰু, এক হাজাৰ মতা মেৰ-ছাগ, আৰু এক হাজাৰ মেৰ-ছাগ পোৱালি, আৰু ইয়াৰে সৈতে গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ কাৰণে পেয় নৈবেদ্য আৰু বলিদান উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।
And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, [even] a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, [and] a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:
22 ২২ সেই দিনা অতি আনন্দেৰে যিহোৱাৰ আগত ভোজন-পান কৰিলে। তেওঁলোকে দায়ূদৰ পুত্ৰ চলোমনক দ্বিতীয়বাৰ ৰজা পাতিলে; আৰু যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে শাসনকর্তা হবলৈ তেওঁ অভিষেক কৰিলে। তেওঁলোকে পুৰোহিত হবলৈ চাদোককো যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে অভিষেক কৰিলে।
And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed [him] unto the LORD [to be] the chief governor, and Zadok [to be] priest.
23 ২৩ তাৰ পাছত চলোমন তেওঁৰ পিতৃ দায়ুদৰ পৰিৱৰ্তে ৰজাহৈ যিহোৱাৰ সিংহাসনত বহিল। তেওঁ কৃতকাৰ্য্য হ’ল, আৰু গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলে তেওঁৰ আজ্ঞা মানিলে।
Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.
25 ২৫ যিহোৱাই সকলো ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আগত চলোমনক সন্মান প্রদান কৰিলে আৰু যিহোৱাই তেওঁক যি ক্ষমতা দিলে, তেনে ক্ষমতা তেওঁৰ পূৰ্বে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ কোনো ৰজাক দিয়া নাছিল।
And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him [such] royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
27 ২৭ তেওঁ চল্লিশ বছৰ ইস্রায়েলৰ ৰজা আছিল। তেওঁ সাত বছৰ হিব্ৰোণত আৰু তেত্ৰিশ বছৰ যিৰূচালেমত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিছিল।
And the time that he reigned over Israel [was] forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three [years] reigned he in Jerusalem.
28 ২৮ তেওঁ সম্পূৰ্ণ বয়স পায়, দীঘলীয়া জীৱন সা-সম্পতি আৰু সন্মান উপভোগ কৰি বৃদ্ধ অৱস্থাত তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হয়। তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ চলোমন তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা হ’ল।
And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
29 ২৯ দায়ুদ ৰজাই তেওঁৰ জীৱনত কৰা সকলো কাৰ্য ভাববাদী চমূৱেল, ভাববাদী নাথন আৰু ভাববাদী গাদৰ ইতিহাস-পুস্তকসমূহত বৰ্ণনা কৰা হৈছে।
Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they [are] written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,
30 ৩০ এই পুস্তকসমূহত ইস্ৰায়েলক ৰাজত্ৱ কৰা সময়ত দায়ূদে যিবোৰ কাৰ্য কৰিছিল, সেই সকলো ইয়াতে উল্লেখ আছে। লিখকসকলে ইস্রায়েল আৰু তাৰ ওচৰ চুবুৰীয়া ৰাজ্যৰ, দায়ূদৰ ক্ষমতা আৰু তেওঁৰ জীৱনৰ সকলো ঘটনা লিখিলে।
With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.
