ՀՌՈՎՄԱՅԵՑԻՍ 12

1 Ուրեմն կ՚աղաչե՛մ ձեզի, եղբայրնե՛ր, Աստուծոյ կարեկցութեամբ, որ ձեր մարմինները ներկայացնէք որպէս ապրող զոհ մը՝ սուրբ, աստուածահաճոյ. ա՛յդ է ձեր բանական պաշտամունքը:

Wherefore, brethren, I beseech you, by the tender mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 Եւ մի՛ համակերպիք այս աշխարհին, հապա փոխակերպուեցէ՛ք ձեր միտքին նորոգութեամբ, որպէսզի քննէք թէ ի՛նչ է Աստուծոյ կամքը, որ բարի, հաճելի եւ կատարեալ է: (aiōn g165)

And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind; that you may approve the will of God, which is good, and acceptable, and perfect. (aiōn g165)

3 Քանի որ ինծի տրուած շնորհքով կ՚ըսեմ ձեզմէ ամէն մէկուն, որ իր մասին աւելի բարձր համարում չունենայ՝ քան ինչ որ պէտք է մտածէ, հապա խոհեմութեա՛մբ մտածէ, հաւատքի չափին համեմատ՝ որ Աստուած բաշխած է իւրաքանչիւրին:

Also, by the favor which is given to me, I charge every one of you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think modestly, as God has distributed to every one a portion of his faith.

4 Որովհետեւ ինչպէս մէկ մարմինի մէջ ունինք շատ անդամներ, եւ այդ բոլոր անդամները միեւնոյն պաշտօնը չունին,

For, as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office;

5 նոյնպէս մենք՝ շատ ըլլալով՝ մէ՛կ մարմին ենք Քրիստոսով, եւ իւրաքանչիւրս՝ իրարու անդամներ:

so we, the many, are one body under Christ, and individually members of one another.

6 Ուստի՝ ունենալով շնորհներ, որոնք կը տարբերին այն շնորհքին համեմատ՝ որ մեզի տրուած է, եթէ մարգարէութիւն է՝ մարգարէանա՛նք հաւատքին համեմատութեամբ,

Having, then, gifts, differing according to the favor which is given to us--if prophecy act according to the measure of faith--

7 եթէ սպասարկութիւն՝ սպասարկե՛նք. ա՛ն որ կը սորվեցնէ՝ թող յարատեւէ սորվեցնելով,

if a ministerial office, in that office--if one is a teacher, in teaching--

8 ա՛ն որ կը յորդորէ՝ յորդորելով. ա՛ն որ կը բաշխէ՝ թող յարատեւէ պարզամտութեամբ, ա՛ն որ վերակացու է՝ փութաջանութեամբ, ա՛ն որ կ՚ողորմի՝ ուրախութեամբ:

and the exhorter, in exhortation. Let him who distributes act with disinterestedness--him that presides, with assiduity--him that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

9 Սէրը թող ըլլայ առանց կեղծիքի. չարէն զզուեցէ՛ք, բարիի՛ն յարեցէք:

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor the evil--adhere closely to the good.

10 Իրարու հանդէպ գորովալի՛ց եղէք՝ եղբայրական սիրով. պատուելու մէջ՝ զիրա՛ր գերադասեցէք:

In brotherly love, be tenderly affectionate to one another--in honor, prefer one another.

11 Փութաջանութեան մէջ ծոյլ մի՛ ըլլաք. եռանդո՛ւն հոգիով Տէրոջ ծառայեցէք:

In business, be not slothful. Be fervent in spirit-- constant in serving the Lord.

12 Յոյսո՛վ ուրախացէք. տառապանքի մէջ համբերեցէ՛ք. աղօթքի մէջ յարատեւեցէ՛ք:

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, steadfastly persevering in prayer.

13 Սուրբերու կարիքներուն հաղորդակի՛ց եղէք. հիւրասիրութեան հետամո՛ւտ եղէք:

Communicate to the necessities of the saints. Follow hospitality to strangers.

14 Ձեզ հալածողները օրհնեցէ՛ք. օրհնեցէ՛ք եւ մի՛ անիծէք:

Bless them who persecute you--bless, and curse not.

15 Ուրախացողներուն հետ ուրախացէ՛ք, ու լացողներուն հետ լացէ՛ք:

Rejoice with them who rejoice, and weep with them who weep.

16 Իրարու հանդէպ միեւնո՛յն մտածումը ունեցէք: Բարձր բաներու վրայ մի՛ մտածէք, հապա խոնարհեցէ՛ք դէպի նուաստները. դուք ձեզ իմաստուն մի՛ սեպէք:

Be of the same disposition toward one another. Do not care for high things; but accommodate yourselves to those which are humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17 Չարիքի փոխարէն չարիք մի՛ հատուցանեցէք ոեւէ մէկուն. մտադրեցէ՛ք ընել ինչ որ պարկեշտ է բոլոր մարդոց առջեւ:

To no one return evil for evil. Seek after things honorable in the sight of all men.

18 Որչափ կարելի է ձեզի՝ խաղաղութի՛ւն պահեցէք ամէն մարդու հետ:

What relates to you is, live in peace with all men, if possible.

19 Սիրելինե՛ր, վրէժխնդիր մի՛ ըլլաք դուք ձեզի համար, հապա տե՛ղ տուէք Աստուծոյ բարկութեան. որովհետեւ գրուած է. «Վրէժխնդրութիւնը ի՛մս է, ե՛ս պիտի հատուցանեմ, - կ՚ըսէ Տէրը»:

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but give place to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."

20 Ուրեմն «եթէ քու թշնամիդ անօթեցած է՝ սնուցանէ՛ զայն, ու եթէ ծարաւցած է՝ խմցո՛ւր անոր. քանի որ այսպէս ընելով՝ կրակի կայծեր պիտի կուտակես անոր գլուխին վրայ»:

Therefore, if your enemy hunger, give him food: if he thirst, give him drink: for by doing this, you will heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Չարէն մի՛ յաղթուիր, հապա բարիո՛վ յաղթէ չարին:

Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
