ՄԱՐԿՈՍ 3
1 Դարձեալ ժողովարանը մտաւ, ուր մարդ մը կար՝ որուն ձեռքը չորցած էր:
Again he went into a synagogue where there was a man with his hand withered.
2 Անոնք կը հսկէին անոր վրայ՝ տեսնելու թէ արդեօք պիտի բուժէ՛ զայն Շաբաթ օրը, որպէսզի ամբաստանեն զինք:
And they kept watching Jesus to see whether he would cure him on the Sabbath; so as to have some charge to bring against him.
3 Ինք ալ ըսաւ ձեռքը չորցած մարդուն. «Ելի՛ր, կայնէ՛ մէջտեղը»:
"Stand up," Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, "and come forward."
4 Յետոյ ըսաւ անոնց. «Շաբաթ օրը բարի՞ք ընել արտօնուած է՝ թէ չարիք ընել, անձ մը փրկե՞լ՝ թէ սպաննել»: Անոնք լուռ կեցան:
Then he asked them. "Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath Day, or to do harm? to save a life, or to destroy it?"
5 Յիսուս բարկութեամբ շուրջը նայեցաւ՝ անոնց վրայ, տրտմելով անոնց սիրտին կուրութեան համար, ապա ըսաւ այդ մարդուն. «Երկարէ՛ ձեռքդ»: Ան ալ երկարեց, եւ անոր ձեռքը առողջացաւ:
They were silent. Then looking around upon them with anger, and deeply grieved by the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand!" He stretched it out, and the hand was at once completely restored.
6 Փարիսեցիները՝ իսկոյն դուրս ելլելով Հերովդէսեաններուն հետ՝ խորհրդակցեցան անոր դէմ, թէ ի՛նչպէս կորսնցնեն զայն:
As soon as they came out, the Pharisees plotted against him with the Herodians, in order to destroy him.
7 Յիսուս իր աշակերտներուն հետ մեկնեցաւ ծովեզերքը, ու մեծ բազմութիւն մը հետեւեցաւ անոր՝ Գալիլեայէն եւ Հրէաստանէն,
Then Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples; and a great crowd of people from Galilee followed.
8 Երուսաղէմէն, Եդովմէն ու Յորդանանի միւս կողմէն. նաեւ անոնք՝ որ Տիւրոսի եւ Սիդոնի շրջակայ տեղերէն էին, մեծ բազմութեամբ, երբ լսեցին ինչ որ կ՚ընէր՝ եկան իրեն:
From Judea, too, and Jerusalem, and Idumea, and from beyond Jordan, and from the district of Tyre and Sidon, they came to him a vast multitude, because they heard what he was doing.
9 Յիսուս ըսաւ իր աշակերտներուն որ նաւակ մը տրամադրուի իրեն՝ բազմութեան պատճառով, որպէսզի չսեղմեն զինք:
So he directed his disciples to keep a little boat in readiness for him, because of the crowd, to prevent their crushing him.
10 Որովհետեւ բուժեց շատերը, այնպէս որ տանջանք ունեցողներ կը խռնուէին շուրջը՝ որպէսզի դպչին իրեն:
For he had healed so many that all the people who had ailments pressed upon him so as to touch him.
11 Երբ անմաքուր ոգիները տեսնէին զինք, կ՚իյնային իր առջեւ ու կ՚աղաղակէին.
And whenever the unclean spirits beheld him, they threw themselves down at his feet, screaming out, "You are the Son of God."
12 «Դո՛ւն ես Աստուծոյ Որդին»: Իսկ ինք սաստիկ կը հրահանգէր անոնց՝ որ չյայտնեն զինք:
But over and over, he strictly forbade them to make him known.
13 Ապա լեռը ելաւ եւ իրեն կանչեց իր ուզածները, ու քովը գացին:
Then he went up the hillside and called to him those whom he chose, and they came to him.
14 Եւ ընտրեց տասներկու հոգի, որպէսզի ըլլան իրեն հետ, ու ղրկէ զանոնք՝ քարոզելու,
Twelve of them whom he also called "Apostles," he appointed to be with him, and also that he might send them out to preach,
15 նաեւ իշխանութիւն ունենալու՝ ախտերը բուժելու եւ դեւերը դուրս հանելու համար.-
and to have authority to cast out demons.
16 Սիմոնը՝ որ Պետրոս անուանեց,
There was Simon, whom he surnamed Peter,
17 Զեբեդեան Յակոբոսն ու Յակոբոսի եղբայրը՝ Յովհաննէսը, որոնք Բաներեգէս անուանեց, որ ըսել է. «Որոտումի որդիներ»,
and James(them he surnamed Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder),
18 Անդրէասը, Փիլիպպոսը, Բարթողոմէոսը, Մատթէոսը, Թովմասը, Ալփէոսեան Յակոբոսը, Թադէոսը, Սիմոն Կանանացին
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and Jamesthe son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Zealot,
19 եւ Յուդա Իսկարիովտացին, որ մատնեց զայն:
and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him.
20 Տուն գացին, ու դարձեալ բազմութիւնը համախմբուեցաւ, այնպէս որ չկրցան նոյնիսկ հաց ուտել:
Then he went into a house, but again such a multitude assembled that they could not get their food.
21 Երբ իրենները լսեցին՝ գացին որ բռնեն զինք, քանի որ կ՚ըսէին. «Ցնորա՛ծ է»:
When his relatives heard of it, they came to take possession of him, for they said, "He is out of his mind."
22 Երուսաղէմէն իջած դպիրներն ալ կ՚ըսէին. «Անոր մէջ Բէեղզեբուղ կայ, եւ դեւերուն իշխանո՛վ կը հանէ դեւերը»:
The Scribes also who had come down from Jerusalem, said, "He is Beelzebub," and, "He casts out demons by the power of the Prince of the demons."
23 Յիսուս կանչելով զանոնք՝ առակներով խօսեցաւ անոնց. «Սատանան ի՞նչպէս կրնայ դուրս հանել Սատանան:
So when he had called them to him he spoke to them in parables. "How," said he, "can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Եթէ թագաւորութիւն մը բաժնուի ինքնիր դէմ՝ այդ թագաւորութիւնը չի կրնար կենալ:
If a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
25 Եթէ տուն մը բաժնուի ինքնիր դէմ, այդ տունը չի կրնար կենալ:
if a household be divided against itself, that household cannot stand;
26 Եթէ Սատանան կանգնած ու բաժնուած է ինքնիր դէմ՝ ան չի կրնար կենալ, հապա անոր վախճանը հասած է:
and if Satan has revolted against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand. Nay, he meets his end!
27 Ո՛չ մէկը կրնայ մտնել ուժեղ մարդու մը տունը եւ յափշտակել անոր կարասիները, եթէ նախ չկապէ ուժեղ մարդը, եւ այ՛ն ատեն կողոպտէ անոր տունը:
"Indeed, no one can enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property without first binding the strong man; then he can plunder his house.
28 Ճշմա՛րտապէս կը յայտարարեմ ձեզի. “Մարդոց որդիներուն պիտի ներուի ամէն մեղք, նաեւ հայհոյութիւնները՝ ո՛րքան ալ հայհոյեն:
In solemn truth I tell you that the sons of men shall be forgiven all their sins and all the blasphemies they may utter,
30 Որովհետեւ կ՚ըսէին. «Անմաքուր ոգի կայ անոր մէջ»:
Because they kept saying, "He has an unclean spirit."
31 Յետոյ անոր մայրն ու եղբայրները եկան, եւ դուրսը կայնելով՝ մարդ ղրկեցին ու կանչեցին զայն.
Then his mother and his brothers came up, and standing outside, they sent a messenger to him to call him.
32 բազմութիւնն ալ նստած էր անոր շուրջը: Երբ ըսին իրեն. «Ահա՛ քու մայրդ ու եղբայրներդ կը փնտռեն քեզ դուրսը»,
Now a crowd was sitting round him and they told him, "See! your mother and your brothers and sisters are outside, wanting to see you."
33 ան ալ պատասխանեց անոնց. «Ո՞վ է իմ մայրս, կամ որո՞նք են եղբայրներս»:
"Who are my mother and my brothers?" he replied.
34 Եւ նայելով իր շուրջը նստողներուն՝ ըսաւ. «Ահա՛ մայրս ու եղբայրներս.
Then, with a glance at those who were in the circle sitting around him, he added.
35 որովհետեւ ո՛վ որ կը գործադրէ Աստուծոյ կամքը, անիկա՛ է իմ եղբայրս, քոյրս եւ մայրս»:
"Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of God, that one is my brother and sister and mother."
