ԱՌԱՋԻՆ ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆՈՒ 2
1 Որդեակնե՛րս, կը գրեմ ձեզի այս բաները՝ որպէսզի չմեղանչէք. իսկ եթէ մէկը մեղանչէ, Հօրը քով ունինք Բարեխօս մը՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոս արդարը:
My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. Yet if any one has sinned, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Just One.
2 Ա՛ն է մեր մեղքերուն քաւութիւնը. եւ ո՛չ միայն մեր, այլ նաեւ ամբողջ աշխարհի մեղքերուն:
And he is a propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
3 Եթէ պահենք անոր պատուիրանները, ասո՛վ կը գիտնանք թէ կը ճանչնանք զայն:
And by this, we know that we have known him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Ո՛վ որ կ՚ըսէ. «Ես կը ճանչնամ զայն», բայց չի պահեր անոր պատուիրանները, ստախօս է, եւ իր մէջ ճշմարտութիւն չկայ:
He who says, I have known him, and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in this man.
5 Բայց ո՛վ որ կը պահէ անոր խօսքը, Աստուծոյ սէրը ի՛րապէս կատարեալ է իր մէջ. ասո՛վ կը գիտնանք թէ անոր մէջ ենք:
But whoever keeps his word, truly in this man the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in him.
6 Ո՛վ որ կ՚ըսէ թէ կը բնակի անոր մէջ, պարտաւոր է ընթանալ ա՛յնպէս՝ ինչպէս ա՛ն ընթացաւ:
He who says he abides in him, ought, himself, also, so to walk even as he walked.
7 Եղբայրնե՛ր, կը գրեմ ձեզի ո՛չ թէ նոր պատուիրան մը, հապա հին պատուիրան մը՝ որ սկիզբէն ունէիք: Հին պատուիրանը այն խօսքն է՝ որ դուք սկիզբէն լսեցիք:
Brethren, I do not write a new commandment to you; but an old commandment, which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word, which you have heard from the beginning.
8 Դարձեալ՝ կը գրեմ ձեզի նոր պատուիրան մը, որ ճշմարիտ է անոր մէջ եւ ձեր մէջ. որովհետեւ խաւարը կ՚անցնի ու ճշմարիտ լոյսը արդէն կը փայլի:
On the other hand, I write to you a new commandment, which is true concerning him and concerning you. For the darkness is passing away, and the light, which is true, now shines.
9 Ա՛ն որ կ՚ըսէ թէ լոյսի մէջ է եւ կ՚ատէ իր եղբայրը, տակաւին խաւարի մէջ է:
He who says he is in the light and yet hates his brother, is in the darkness till now.
10 Ա՛ն որ կը սիրէ իր եղբայրը, կը բնակի լոյսի մէջ, ու գայթակղութիւն չկայ իր մէջ:
He who loves his brother, abides in the light, and there is no stumbling block to him.
11 Բայց ա՛ն որ կ՚ատէ իր եղբայրը՝ խաւարի մէջ է, խաւարի մէջ կը քալէ եւ չի գիտեր թէ ո՛ւր կ՚երթայ, որովհետեւ խաւարը կուրցուցած է իր աչքերը:
But he who hates his brother, is in the darkness, and walks in that darkness, and does not know whither he goes; because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 Կը գրեմ ձեզի, որդեակնե՛ր, որովհետեւ ձեր մեղքերը ներուած են ձեզի՝ անոր անունին համար:
Little children, I write to you, because your sins are forgiven you, on account of his name.
13 Կը գրեմ ձեզի, հայրե՛ր, որովհետեւ դուք ճանչցաք ա՛ն՝ որ սկիզբէն է: Կը գրեմ ձեզի, երիտասարդնե՛ր, որովհետեւ դուք յաղթեցիք Չարին:
Fathers, I write to you, because you have known him from the beginning. Young men, I write to you, because you have overcome the wicked one.
14 Գրեցի ձեզի, զաւակնե՛ր, որովհետեւ դուք ճանչցաք Հայրը: Գրեցի ձեզի, հայրե՛ր, որովհետեւ դուք ճանչցաք ա՛ն՝ որ սկիզբէն է: Գրեցի ձեզի, երիտասարդնե՛ր, որովհետեւ դուք ուժեղ էք, եւ Աստուծոյ խօսքը կը բնակի ձեր մէջ, ու յաղթեցիք Չարին:
Fathers, I have written to you, because you have known him from the beginning. Young men, I have written to you, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.
15 Մի՛ սիրէք աշխարհը, ո՛չ ալ ինչ որ աշխարհի մէջ է:
Love not the world, neither the things which are in the world. If any one love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 Եթէ մէկը կը սիրէ աշխարհը, Հօրը սէրը չկայ իր մէջ. որովհետեւ ամէն ինչ որ աշխարհի մէջ է՝ մարմինի ցանկութիւնը, աչքերու ցանկութիւնը եւ այս կեանքին ամբարտաւանութիւնը՝ Հօրմէն չէ, հապա այս աշխարհէն է:
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 Աշխա՛րհն ալ կ՚անցնի, անոր ցանկութիւնն ալ. բայց ա՛ն որ կը գործադրէ Աստուծոյ կամքը՝ կը մնայ յաւիտեան: (aiōn g165)
Now the world passes away, and the lust of it; be he who does the will of God, abides forever. (aiōn g165)
18 Զաւակնե՛ր, վերջին ժամն է. եւ ինչպէս լսեցիք թէ Նեռը պիտի գայ, արդէ՛ն շատ նեռեր կան. ատկէ կը գիտնանք թէ վերջին ժամն է:
Young children, it is the last period. And as you have heard that the antichrist comes, so, now, there are many antichrists; whence you know that it is the last period.
19 Անոնք մեր մէջէն ելան, բայց մեզմէ չէին. որովհետեւ եթէ ըլլային մեզմէ, կը մնային մեզի հետ: Բայց մեզմէ ելան, որպէսզի բացայայտուի թէ անոնք բոլորն ալ մեզմէ չէին:
They went away from us, but they were not of us. For, if they had been of us, they would have abode with us; but they went away, that they might be made manifest that they were not of us.
20 Սակայն դուք օծութիւն ունիք Սուրբէն, ու գիտէք ամէն բան:
But you have an unction from the Holy One, and know all things.
21 Չգրեցի ձեզի՝ որպէս թէ չէք գիտեր ճշմարտութիւնը, հապա՝ որովհետեւ գիտէ՛ք զայն, եւ քանի որ սուտը ճշմարտութենէն չէ:
I have not written to you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Ո՞վ է ստախօսը, եթէ ոչ ա՛ն՝ որ կ՚ուրանայ թէ Յիսուս՝ Քրիստո՛սն է. նեռը ա՛ն է՝ որ կ՚ուրանայ Հայրն ու Որդին:
Who is a liar, if not he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
23 Ո՛վ որ կ՚ուրանայ Որդին, անիկա Հա՛յրն ալ չունի. (բայց ա՛ն որ կը դաւանի Որդին, անիկա Հա՛յրն ալ ունի: )
Whoever denies the Son, does not acknowledge the Father.
24 Ուրեմն ի՛նչ որ լսեցիք սկիզբէն՝ թող բնակի ձեր մէջ. եթէ ձեր մէջ բնակի ի՛նչ որ սկիզբէն լսեցիք, դո՛ւք ալ պիտի բնակիք Որդիին մէջ ու Հօրը մէջ:
Therefore, let what you have heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you have heard from the beginning, abide in you; you also shall abide in the Son, and in the Father:
and this is the promise which he has promised to us, even eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 Գրեցի ձեզի այս բաները՝ ձեզ մոլորեցնողներուն համար:
These things I have written to you, concerning them who deceive you;
27 Այն օծութիւնը որ ստացաք իրմէ՝ կը բնակի ձեր մէջ. ուստի պէտք չկայ որ մէկը սորվեցնէ ձեզի: Իսկ քանի որ այդ նոյն օծութիւնը կը սորվեցնէ ձեզի ամէն բան, ու ճշմարիտ է եւ ո՛չ թէ սուտ, ի՛ր մէջ բնակեցէք՝ ի՛նչպէս ան սորվեցուց ձեզի:
but the unction which you have received from him abides in you; and you have no need that any one should teach you, unless the same unction teaches you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie: and as it has taught you, you will abide in him.
28 Ուրեմն հիմա, որդեակնե՛ր, բնակեցէ՛ք իր մէջ, որպէսզի երբ ինք երեւնայ՝ համարձակութիւն ունենանք, ու չամչնանք իրմէ իր գալուստին ատենը:
And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and may not be put to shame by him, at his coming.
29 Եթէ գիտէք թէ ինք արդար է, կ՚ըմբռնէք թէ ո՛վ որ արդարութիւն կը գործէ՝ իրմէ ծնած է:
If you know that he is righteous, you know that every one who works righteousness, has been begotten by him.
