ՄԱՐԿՈՍ 6
1 Եւ այնտեղից ելաւ եկաւ իր գաւառը. եւ իր աշակերտները գնում էին նրա յետեւից:
And He came out thence and comes into His own country; and His disciples follow Him:
2 Երբ շաբաթ օր եղաւ, սկսեց ժողովարանում ուսուցանել. եւ շատերը, երբ լսում էին նրան, զարմանում էին նրա վարդապետութեան վրայ եւ ասում. «Այս բաները որտեղի՞ց են սրան, կամ ի՞նչ է այս իմաստութիւնը, որ տրուած է սրան, որ սրա ձեռքով այսպիսի զօրաւոր գործեր կատարուեն:
and it being the Sabbath day, He began to preach in the synagogue: and many hearing were astonished, saying, Whence are these things to this one? and, What wisdom is given unto Him? Such miracles are wrought by His hands.
3 Սա հիւսնի տղան եւ Մարիամի որդին չէ՞ միթէ, Յակոբոսի եւ Յովսէի ու Յուդայի եւ Սիմոնի եղբայրը. եւ սրա քոյրերը այստեղ մեզ մօտ չե՞ն»: Եւ նրանով գայթակղւում էին:
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary? the brother of James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? Are not His sisters here with us? And they were offended in Him.
4 Եւ Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Մարգարէն յարգուած անձ է, բայց ոչ իր գաւառում, իր ազգատոհմի եւ իր տան մէջ»:
And Jesus said to them; A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, and among his relatives, and in his own house.
5 Եւ չէր կարողանում այնտեղ որեւէ զօրաւոր գործ կատարել, այլ քիչ թուով հիւանդների վրայ ձեռք դնելով՝ նրանց բժշկում էր:
And He was not able to do any miracle there, except laying hands on a few sick people, He healed them.
6 Եւ նա զարմանում էր նրանց անհաւատութեան վրայ:
And He was astonished on account of their unbelief. And He went about the villages in a circuit teaching.
7 Եւ շրջում էր շրջակայ գիւղերում եւ ուսուցանում:
And He calls the twelve to Him, and began to send them out two by two; and He gave them authority over unclean spirits.
8 Նա իր մօտ կանչեց Տասներկուսին եւ սկսեց ուղարկել նրանց երկու-երկու ու պիղծ ոգիների վրայ նրանց իշխանութիւն տուեց:
And He commanded them that they should take nothing for the way except staff only; no valise, no bread, no money in the girdle;
9 Նրանց պատուիրեց, որ ճանապարհի համար գաւազանից բացի այլ բան չվերցնեն. ո՛չ պարկ, ո՛չ հաց, ո՛չ դրամ գօտիների մէջ,
but having put on your sandals: and put not on two coats.
10 այլ հագնեն հողաթափներ. եւ ասաց. «Աւելորդ պարեգօտ մի՛ վերցրէք»:
And He said to them, Into whatsoever house you may enter, there abide until you may go out from thence.
11 Եւ ասում էր նրանց. «Ինչ տուն որ մտնէք, այնտեղ օթեւանեցէ՛ք, մինչեւ որ այնտեղից ելնէք:
And whatsoever place may not receive you nor hear you, going forth thence, shake off the dust which is beneath your feet for a testimony unto them.
12 Եւ ուր որ ձեզ չեն ընդունի ու ձեզ չեն լսի, երբ որ այնտեղից ելնէք, ձեր ոտքերի փոշին թա՛փ տուէք՝ իբրեւ նրանց դէմ վկայութիւն»:
And having gone out they preached that they must repent;
13 Եւ նրանք ելան ու քարոզում էին, որպէսզի մարդիկ ապաշխարեն:
and they cast out many demons; and anointed many sick with oil, and healed them.
14 Եւ բազում դեւեր էին հանում, բազում հիւանդների օծում էին իւղով ու նրանց բժշկում:
And king Herod heard; for His name became known: and said, John the Baptist is risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works are wrought in Him.
15 Եւ Հերովդէս արքան լսեց այս բաները, որովհետեւ Յիսուսի անունը յայտնի էր դարձել. եւ նա ասաց. «Յովհաննէս Մկրտիչը յարութիւն է առել մեռելներից, եւ դրա համար զօրութիւններ են գործւում նրա միջոցով»:
And others continued to say, That He is Elijah; and others continued to say that He is a prophet, indeed one of the prophets.
16 Ուրիշներ ասում էին, թէ՝ Եղիան է. իսկ միւսները, թէ՝ մարգարէ է կամ թէ՝ մարգարէների նման մէկը:
But Herod hearing said, That, He is John, whom I beheaded; He is risen from the dead.
17 Երբ Հերովդէսը այս լսեց, ասաց. «Յովհաննէսը, որի գլուխը կտրեցի ես, սա նա՛ է. մեռելներից յարութիւն է առել»:
For Herod himself having sent, arrested John, and bound him in prison on account of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip: because he married her.
18 Արդարեւ, ինքը՝ Հերովդէսն էր մարդ ուղարկել, ձերբակալել էր Յովհաննէսին, կապել նրան ու բանտարկել՝ իր եղբօր՝ Փիլիպպոսի կնոջ՝ Հերովդիայի պատճառով, քանի որ Հերովդէսը նրան իրեն կին էր դարձրել,
For John said to Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have the wife of thy brother.
19 եւ քանի որ Յովհաննէսը Հերովդէսին ասում էր. «Քո եղբօր կնոջը քեզ կին առնելը օրինաւոր չէ»:
And Herodias hated him, and wished to kill him; and was not able;
20 Եւ Հերովդիան ոխ էր պահել նրա դէմ ու ուզում էր նրան սպանել տալ, բայց չէր կարողանում,
for Herod was afraid of John, knowing him to be a just and holy man, and he continued to hold him in prison: and hearing him, he continued to do many things, and he was hearing him gladly.
21 որովհետեւ Հերովդէսը վախենում էր Յովհաննէսից, քանի որ նրան գիտէր որպէս արդար եւ սուրբ մարդու, եւ նրան հովանաւորում էր ու նրան անսալով՝ շատ բաներ էր անում եւ քաղցրութեամբ լսում էր նրան:
And it being a high day, when Herod on his birthday made a feast to his mighty men, and chiliarchs, and the first men of Galilee;
22 Սակայն մի յարմար օր եկաւ, երբ Հերովդէսը իր ծննդեան տարեդարձի ընթրիքն էր տալիս իր նախարարներին, Գալիլիայի մեծամեծներին եւ հազարապետներին:
and the daughter of Herodias herself, having come in and danced, and pleased Herod and those sitting with him; the king said to the damsel. Ask what you may wish, and I will give it to you.
23 Եւ երբ Հերովդիայի դուստրը ներս մտաւ եւ սկսեց պարել, դուր եկաւ Հերովդէսին եւ սեղանակիցներին. թագաւորը աղջկան ասաց. «Ուզի՛ր ինձնից, ինչ որ կամենում ես, եւ քեզ կը տամ»:
And he promised her, I will give you whatsoever you may ask, even unto the half of my kingdom.
24 Եւ երդուեց նրան շատ անգամ, թէ՝ դու ինձնից ինչ էլ որ ուզես, կը տամ քեզ, մինչեւ իսկ իմ թագաւորութեան կէսը:
And having gone out, she said to her mother, What shall I ask And she said, The head of John the Baptist.
25 Աղջիկը դուրս գնալով իր մօրն ասաց՝ ի՞նչ ուզեմ: Եւ սա ասաց՝ Յովհաննէս Մկրտչի գլուխը:
And she having come in to the king, immediately with haste asked him, saying; I wish, that you may give to me immediately, the head of John the Baptist in a charger.
26 Եւ աղջիկը շտապով վերստին մտնելով թագաւորի մօտ՝ ասաց. «Ուզում եմ, որ հիմա ինձ տաս սկուտեղի վրայ Յովհաննէս Մկրտչի գլուխը»:
And the king being grieved exceedingly; on account of his oaths, and those sitting with him, was not willing to reject her.
27 Եւ թագաւորը սաստիկ տրտմեց, բայց իր երդումների եւ հրաւիրեալների պատճառով չուզեց նրան մերժել:
And the king immediately sending forth a soldier of his guard, commanded that his head should be brought.
28 Եւ թագաւորը իսկոյն դահիճ ուղարկեց ու հրամայեց բերել Յովհաննէսի գլուխը: Եւ սա գնաց գլխատեց նրան բանտում
And having departed, he beheaded him in prison: and brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel, and the damsel gave it to her mother.
29 ու նրա գլուխը սկուտեղով բերեց եւ տուեց աղջկան, եւ աղջիկը տարաւ տուեց իր մօրը:
And his disciples having heard, came and took his body, and put it in a sepulcher.
30 Երբ Յովհաննէսի աշակերտները լսեցին, եկան վերցրին մարմինը եւ դրեցին գերեզմանի մէջ:
The apostles return to Jesus, and related unto Him all things, even so many as they did, and so many as they taught.
31 Առաքեալները հաւաքուեցին Յիսուսի մօտ ու նրան պատմեցին այն ամէնը, ինչ որ արել էին եւ ուսուցանել:
And He said to them, Come ye privately into a desert place, and rest a little while. For many were coming and going, neither had they leisure even to eat.
32 Եւ Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Եկէ՛ք դուք առանձին մի ամայի տեղ ու մի քիչ հանգստացէ՛ք». որովհետեւ եկող-գնացողները շատ էին. եւ հաց ուտելու անգամ ժամանակ չունէին:
And they came away into a desert place privately in a ship.
33 Եւ նաւակով գնացին մի ամայի տեղ՝ առանձին:
And the multitudes saw them going, and many recognized them, and they ran together thither on foot from many cities, and came before them and came together to Him.
34 Սակայն մարդիկ տեսան նրանց, որ գնում էին, եւ շատերը ճանաչեցին նրանց ու բոլոր քաղաքներից հետիոտն, խուռներամ այնտեղ վազեցին եւ մօտեցան նրանց:
And Jesus having come out saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion in their behalf, because they were as sheep having no shepherd: and He began to teach them many things.
35 Եւ նա նաւակից դուրս ելնելով՝ մեծ ամբոխ տեսաւ ու գթաց նրանց, որովհետեւ նման էին ոչխարների, որոնք հովիւ չունեն. եւ սկսեց նրանց ուսուցանել շատ բաներ:
And already the hour being late, His disciples coming to Him, say, That it is a desert place, and the hour is already late:
36 Երբ շատ ժամեր անցան, աշակերտները, մօտենալով, ասացին. «Սա ամայի տեղ է, մինչ օրը դեռ չի վերջացել,
send them away, that having gone into the surrounding country and the villages, they may purchase for themselves bread: for they have not what they may eat.
37 արձակի՛ր այս ժողովրդին, որպէսզի գնան շրջակայքի ագարակներում եւ գիւղերում իրենց համար ուտելիք գնեն, որովհետեւ այստեղ ուտելու բան չունեն»:
And responding He said to them, You give to them to eat. And they say to Him, Having gone away must we purchase the loaves of two hundred denaria, and give them to eat?
38 Նա պատասխանեց նրանց եւ ասաց. «Դո՛ւք նրանց ուտելիք տուէք»: Ասացին նրան. «Գնանք գնե՞նք երկու հարիւր դահեկանի հաց եւ նրանց տանք ուտելու»:
And He says to them; How many loaves have you? go and see. And having ascertained, they say, five loaves and two fishes.
39 Ասաց նրանց. «Քանի՞ նկանակ ունէք, գնացէք տեսէ՛ք»: Երբ իմացան, նրան ասացին. «Հինգ նկանակ եւ երկու ձուկ»:
And He commanded them all to sit down in companies on the green grass.
40 Եւ նա հրամայեց խումբ-խումբ նստեցնել նրանց դալար խոտի վրայ:
And they sat down in ranks, about one hundred, and about fifty.
41 Եւ դաս-դաս նստեցին, տեղ-տեղ՝ հարիւր, տեղ-տեղ՝ յիսուն:
And taking the five loaves and the two fishes, looking up to heaven, He blessed them; and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples, that they should dispense to them; and He divided the two fishes among all.
42 Եւ նա վերցնելով հինգ նկանակը եւ երկու ձկները՝ նայեց դէպի երկինք, օրհնեց, մանրեց նկանակները եւ տուեց աշակերտներին, որպէսզի դնեն նրանց առաջ: Եւ երկու ձկներն էլ բաժանեց բոլորին:
And they all ate, and were filled;
43 Կերան եւ յագեցան
and they took up the fragments, twelve baskets full, and from the fishes.
44 եւ տասներկու սակառ լիքը կտորտանքները վերցրին, ինչպէս նաեւ՝ ձկներից:
And those eating the bread were five thousand men.
45 Եւ նրանք որ կերան, մօտ հինգ հազար հոգի էին:
And immediately He constrained His disciples to embark into the ship, and go before Him to the other side to Bethsaida, until He shall send away the multitude.
46 Իսկոյն եւեթ Յիսուս շտապեցրեց աշակերտներին, որ նաւակ մտնեն եւ իրենից առաջ գնան հանդիպակաց կողմը՝ դէպի Բեթսայիդա, մինչեւ ինքը ժողովրդին արձակէր:
And having dismissed them, He went away into the mountain to pray.
47 Եւ բաժանուելով նրանցից՝ լեռ բարձրացաւ աղօթք անելու:
And it being evening, the ship was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone upon the land.
48 Երբ երեկոյ եղաւ, նաւակը ծովի մէջտեղում էր, իսկ ինքը՝ ցամաքի վրայ:
And He seeing them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary to them, and about the fourth watch of the night He comes to them, walking on the sea; and He wished to pass by them.
49 Եւ տեսաւ նրանց, որ հողմակոծ էին լինում թիավարելիս, որովհետեւ քամին նրանց հակառակ կողմից էր. գիշերուայ ուշ ժամին նա գալիս էր նրանց մօտ՝ ծովի վրայ քայլելով, եւ ուզում էր նրանցից առաջ անցնել գնալ:
But they, seeing Him walking on the sea, thought it was a specter, and cried out.
50 Երբ նրանք տեսան, որ քայլում է ծովի վրայ, կարծեցին, թէ մի ուրուական է, եւ աղաղակ բարձրացրին,
For they all saw Him, and were alarmed. And immediately He spoke with them, and says to them, Be of good cheer; I am He; be not afraid.
51 որովհետեւ ամէնքը տեսան նրան եւ խռովուեցին: Եւ նա իսկոյն խօսեց նրանց հետ ու ասաց. «Քաջալերուեցէ՛ք, ե՛ս եմ, մի՛ վախեցէք»:
And He went up to them into the ship; and the wind ceased. And they were exceedingly much astonished among themselves, and continued to marvel.
52 Եւ նա նաւակ բարձրացաւ նրանց մօտ, եւ քամին դադարեց: Եւ նրանք առաւել եւս ապշել էին իրենց մտքում ու սաստիկ զարմանում էին,
For they did not understand concerning the loaves, for their heart was hardened.
53 քանի որ մտքները բթացած լինելով՝ չէին հասկացել նաեւ այն, ինչ վերաբերում էր հացի բազմացմանը:
And having crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret; and they disembarked.
54 Երբ դիմացի կողմն անցան, Գեննեսարէթի ցամաքը ելան:
And they having come out from the ship, immediately recognizing Him,
55 Եւ երբ նաւակից դուրս ելան, տեղի մարդիկ իսկոյն եւեթ նրան ճանաչեցին:
they were running round all that country, and they began to carry the sick on beds, when they heard that He is there.
56 Եւ ամբողջ գաւառում այս ու այն կողմ վազելով՝ սկսեցին մահիճներով հիւանդներ բերել այնտեղ, ուր լսում էին, թէ նա գտնւում է: Եւ ուր որ մտնում էր՝ գիւղեր, քաղաքներ թէ ագարակներ, հրապարակներում դնում էին ախտերով տառապողներին եւ աղաչում նրան, որ գոնէ իր զգեստի քղանցքներին դիպչեն: Եւ ովքեր մի անգամ դիպան, բժշկուեցին:
And when He departed into the villages, or cities, or countries, they placed the sick in the forums, and call upon Him, and continued to intreat Him that they should touch the hem of His garment: and so many as touched Him were saved.
