ԾՆՆԴՈՑ 5
1 Սա մարդկանց ազգաբանութեան այն օրերի պատմութիւնն է, երբ Աստուած ստեղծեց Ադամին: Ըստ Աստծու պատկերի ստեղծեց նրան,
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 արու եւ էգ ստեղծեց նրանց, օրհնեց եւ ադամ, այսինքն՝ մարդ անուանեց նրանց այն օրը, երբ ստեղծեց նրանց:
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 Ադամը երկու հարիւր երեսուն տարեկանին իր նման ու իր կերպարանքով որդի ծնեց եւ անունը դրեց Սէթ:
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and brings forth a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 Սէթին ծնելուց յետոյ Ադամն ապրեց եւս եօթը հարիւր տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he brings forth sons and daughters:
5 Ադամը մեռաւ՝ ապրելով ինը հարիւր երեսուն տարի:
And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 Սէթը երկու հարիւր հինգ տարեկանին ծնեց Ենոսին:
And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and brings forth Enos:
7 Ենոսին ծնելուց յետոյ Սէթն ապրեց եւս եօթը հարիւր եօթը տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Seth lived after he brings forth Enos eight hundred and seven years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
8 Սէթը մեռաւ՝ ապրելով ինը հարիւր տասներկու տարի:
And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9 Ենոսը հարիւր իննսուն տարեկանին ծնեց Կայնանին:
And Enos lived ninety years, and brings forth Cainan:
10 Կայնանին ծնելուց յետոյ Ենոսն ապրեց եւս եօթը հարիւր տասնհինգ տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Enos lived after he brings forth Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
11 Ենոսը մեռաւ՝ ապրելով ինը հարիւր հինգ տարի:
And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12 Կայնանը հարիւր եօթանասուն տարեկանին ծնեց Մաղաղայէլին:
And Cainan lived seventy years and brings forth Mahalaleel:
13 Մաղաղայէլին ծնելուց յետոյ Կայնանն ապրեց եւս եօթը հարիւր քառասուն տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Cainan lived after he brings forth Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
14 Կայնանը մեռաւ՝ ապրելով ինը հարիւր տասը տարի:
And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15 Մաղաղայէլը հարիւր վաթսունհինգ տարեկանին ծնեց Յարէդին:
And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and brings forth Jared:
16 Յարէդին ծնելուց յետոյ Մաղաղայէլն ապրեց եւս եօթը հարիւր երեսուն տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Mahalaleel lived after he brings forth Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
17 Մաղաղայէլը մեռաւ՝ ապրելով ութ հարիւր իննսունհինգ տարի:
And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18 Յարէդը հարիւր վաթսուներկու տարեկանին ծնեց Ենոքին:
And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he brings forth Enoch:
19 Ենոքին ծնելուց յետոյ Յարէդն ապրեց եւս ութ հարիւր տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Jared lived after he brings forth Enoch eight hundred years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
20 Յարէդը մեռաւ՝ ապրելով ինը հարիւր վաթսուներկու տարի:
And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 Ենոքը հարիւր վաթսունհինգ տարեկանին ծնեց Մաթուսաղային:
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and brings forth Methuselah:
22 Ենոքը Մաթուսաղային ծնելուց յետոյ սիրելի եղաւ Աստծուն երկու հարիւր տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Enoch walked with God after he brings forth Methuselah three hundred years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
23 Ենոքը ապրեց երեք հարիւր վաթսունհինգ տարի:
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 Ենոքը սիրելի եղաւ Աստծուն: Նա անյայտացաւ, որովհետեւ Աստուած նրան տարաւ իր մօտ:
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25 Մաթուսաղան հարիւր ութսունեօթը տարեկանին ծնեց Ղամէքին:
And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and brings forth Lamech.
26 Ղամէքին ծնելուց յետոյ Մաթուսաղան ապրեց եւս ութ հարիւր երկու տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Methuselah lived after he brings forth Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
27 Մաթուսաղան մեռաւ՝ ապրելով ինը հարիւր վաթսունինը տարի:
And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 Ղամէքը հարիւր ութսունութ տարեկանին ծնեց որդի:
And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and brings forth a son:
29 Նա նրա անունը դրեց Նոյ: Ղամէքն ասաց. «Սա մեզ կը հանգստացնի մեր գործերից, մեր ձեռքերի ցաւերից եւ այն երկրից, որ անիծեց Տէր Աստուած»:
And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD has cursed.
30 Նոյին ծնելուց յետոյ Ղամէքն ապրեց եւս հինգ հարիւր վաթսունհինգ տարի եւ ծնեց ուստրեր ու դուստրեր:
And Lamech lived after he brings forth Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and brings forth sons and daughters:
31 Ղամէքը մեռաւ՝ ապրելով եօթը հարիւր յիսուներեք տարի:
And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 Նոյը հինգ հարիւր տարեկանին ծնեց երեք որդի. Սէմին, Քամին եւ Յաբէթին:
And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah brings forth Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
