But I say unto you, that every one that is lightly angry with his brother shall be subject to the judgment; but whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be subject to [be called before] the sanhedrim; but whosoever shall say, Fool, shall be subject to the penalty of the hell of fire. But if thy right eye be a snare to thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members perish, and not thy whole body be cast into hell. (Geenna )

And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but fear rather him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Geenna )
ܘܐܢܬܝ ܟܦܪܢܚܘܡ ܗܝ ܕܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܐܬܬܪܝܡܬܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܝܘܠ ܬܬܚܬܝܢ ܕܐܠܘ ܒܤܕܘܡ ܗܘܘ ܚܝܠܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܘܘ ܒܟܝ ܩܝܡܐ ܗܘܬ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܝܘܡܢܐ (Hadēs ) |
And thou, Capernaum, who hast been raised up to heaven, shalt be brought down even to hades. For if the works of power which have taken place in thee, had taken place in Sodom, it had remained until this day. (Hadēs )

And whosoever shall have spoken a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this age nor in the coming [one]. (aiōn )
ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܒܝܬ ܟܘܒܐ ܐܙܕܪܥ ܗܘ ܗܘ ܕܫܡܥ ܡܠܬܐ ܘܪܢܝܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܘܛܘܥܝܝ ܕܥܘܬܪܐ ܚܢܩܝܢ ܠܗ ܠܡܠܬܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܦܐܪܐ ܗܘܝܐ (aiōn ) |
And he that is sown among the thorns — this is he who hears the word, and the anxious care of this life, and the deceit of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. (aiōn )
ܒܥܠܕܒܒܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܙܪܥ ܐܢܘܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܤܛܢܐ ܚܨܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܫܘܠܡܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܚܨܘܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܠܐܟܐ (aiōn ) |
and the enemy who has sowed it is the devil; and the harvest is [the] completion of [the] age, and the harvestmen are angels. (aiōn )
ܐܝܟܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܡܬܓܒܝܢ ܙܝܙܢܐ ܘܝܩܕܝܢ ܒܢܘܪܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܫܘܠܡܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ (aiōn ) |
As then the darnel is gathered and is burned in the fire, thus it shall be in the completion of the age. (aiōn )
ܗܟܢܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܒܫܘܠܡܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܢܦܩܘܢ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܘܢܦܪܫܘܢ ܒܝܫܐ ܡܢ ܒܝܢܝ ܙܕܝܩܐ (aiōn ) |
Thus shall it be in the completion of the age: the angels shall go forth and sever the wicked from the midst of the just, (aiōn )
ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܕܐܢܬ ܗܘ ܟܐܦܐ ܘܥܠ ܗܕܐ ܟܐܦܐ ܐܒܢܝܗ ܠܥܕܬܝ ܘܬܪܥܐ ܕܫܝܘܠ ܠܐ ܢܚܤܢܘܢܗ (Hadēs ) |
And I also, I say unto thee that thou art Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and hades' gates shall not prevail against it. (Hadēs )
ܐܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܕܟ ܐܘ ܪܓܠܟ ܡܟܫܠܐ ܠܟ ܦܤܘܩܝܗ ܘܫܕܝܗ ܡܢܟ ܛܒ ܗܘ ܠܟ ܕܬܥܘܠ ܠܚܝܐ ܟܕ ܚܓܝܤ ܐܢܬ ܐܘ ܟܕ ܦܫܝܓ ܘܠܐ ܟܕ ܐܝܬ ܠܟ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܐܝܕܝܢ ܐܘ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܪܓܠܝܢ ܬܦܠ ܒܢܘܪܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
And if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut it off and cast [it] from thee; it is good for thee to enter into life lame or maimed, [rather] than having two hands or two feet to be cast into eternal fire. (aiōnios )
ܘܐܢ ܗܘ ܕܥܝܢܟ ܡܟܫܠܐ ܠܟ ܚܨܝܗ ܘܫܕܝܗ ܡܢܟ ܛܒ ܗܘ ܠܟ ܕܒܚܕܐ ܥܝܢܐ ܬܥܘܠ ܠܚܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܟܕ ܐܝܬ ܠܟ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܥܝܢܝܢ ܬܦܠ ܒܓܗܢܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ (Geenna ) |
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out and cast [it] from thee; it is good for thee to enter into life one-eyed, [rather] than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire. (Geenna )
ܘܐܬܐ ܚܕ ܩܪܒ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܛܒܐ ܡܢܐ ܕܛܒ ܐܥܒܕ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܝ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
And lo, one coming up said to him, Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have life eternal? (aiōnios )
ܘܟܠܢܫ ܕܫܒܩ ܒܬܐ ܐܘ ܐܚܐ ܐܘ ܐܚܘܬܐ ܐܘ ܐܒܐ ܐܘ ܐܡܐ ܐܘ ܐܢܬܬܐ ܐܘ ܒܢܝܐ ܐܘ ܩܘܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܫܡܝ ܚܕ ܒܡܐܐ ܢܩܒܠ ܘܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܢܐܪܬ (aiōnios ) |
And every one who has left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit life eternal. (aiōnios )
ܘܚܙܐ ܬܬܐ ܚܕܐ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܘܐܬܐ ܠܘܬܗ ܘܠܐ ܐܫܟܚ ܒܗ ܡܕܡ ܐܠܐ ܐܢ ܛܪܦܐ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܠܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܒܟܝ ܬܘܒ ܦܐܪܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܘܡܚܕܐ ܝܒܫܬ ܬܬܐ ܗܝ (aiōn ) |
And seeing one fig-tree in the way, he came to it and found on it nothing but leaves only. And he says to it, Let there be never more fruit of thee for ever. And the fig-tree was immediately dried up. (aiōn )
ܘܝ ܠܟܘܢ ܤܦܪܐ ܘܦܪܝܫܐ ܢܤܒܝ ܒܐܦܐ ܕܡܬܟܪܟܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܝܡܐ ܘܝܒܫܐ ܕܬܥܒܕܘܢ ܚܕ ܓܝܘܪܐ ܘܡܐ ܕܗܘܐ ܥܒܕܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܠܗ ܒܪܗ ܕܓܗܢܐ ܐܥܦܐ ܥܠܝܟܘܢ (Geenna ) |
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye compass the sea and the dry [land] to make one proselyte, and when he is become [such], ye make him twofold more [the] son of hell than yourselves. (Geenna )
ܚܘܘܬܐ ܝܠܕܐ ܕܐܟܕܢܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܬܥܪܩܘܢ ܡܢ ܕܝܢܐ ܕܓܗܢܐ (Geenna ) |
Serpents, offspring of vipers, how should ye escape the judgment of hell? (Geenna )
ܘܟܕ ܝܬܒ ܝܫܘܥ ܥܠ ܛܘܪܐ ܕܙܝܬܐ ܩܪܒܘ ܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪܝܢ ܒܝܢܝܗܘܢ ܘܠܗ ܐܡܪ ܠܢ ܐܡܬܝ ܗܠܝܢ ܢܗܘܝܢ ܘܡܢܐ ܗܝ ܐܬܐ ܕܡܐܬܝܬܟ ܘܕܫܘܠܡܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ (aiōn ) |
And as he was sitting upon the mount of Olives the disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be, and what is the sign of thy coming and [the] completion of the age? (aiōn )
ܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܐܡܪ ܐܦ ܠܗܢܘܢ ܕܡܢ ܤܡܠܗ ܙܠܘ ܠܟܘܢ ܡܢܝ ܠܝܛܐ ܠܢܘܪܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܗܝ ܕܡܛܝܒܐ ܠܐܟܠܩܪܨܐ ܘܠܡܠܐܟܘܗܝ (aiōnios ) |
Then shall he say also to those on the left, Go from me, cursed, into eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (aiōnios )
ܘܢܐܙܠܘܢ ܗܠܝܢ ܠܬܫܢܝܩܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܘܙܕܝܩܐ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
And these shall go away into eternal punishment, and the righteous into life eternal. (aiōnios )
ܘܐܠܦܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܢܛܪܘܢ ܟܠ ܡܐ ܕܦܩܕܬܟܘܢ ܘܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܐܢܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܝܘܡܬܐ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܘܠܡܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have enjoined you. And behold, I am with you all the days, until the completion of the age. (aiōn )
ܡܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܢܓܕܦ ܥܠ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܫܘܒܩܢܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܐܠܐ ܡܚܝܒ ܗܘ ܠܕܝܢܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōn , aiōnios ) |
but whosoever shall speak injuriously against the Holy Spirit, to eternity has no forgiveness; but lies under the guilt of an everlasting sin; (aiōn , aiōnios )
ܘܪܢܝܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܘܛܘܥܝܝ ܕܥܘܬܪܐ ܘܫܪܟܐ ܕܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܐܚܪܢܝܬܐ ܥܐܠܢ ܚܢܩܢ ܠܗ ܠܡܠܬܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܦܐܪܐ ܗܘܝܐ (aiōn ) |
and the cares of life, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn )

And if thy hand serve as a snare to thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having thy two hands to go away into hell, into the fire unquenchable; (Geenna )

ܘܟܕ ܪܕܐ ܒܐܘܪܚܐ ܪܗܛ ܚܕ ܢܦܠ ܥܠ ܒܘܪܟܘܗܝ ܘܡܫܐܠ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܛܒܐ ܡܢܐ ܐܥܒܕ ܕܐܬܪ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
And as he went forth into the way, a person ran up to [him], and kneeling to him asked him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? (aiōnios )
ܘܠܐ ܢܩܒܠ ܚܕ ܒܡܐܐ ܗܫܐ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܗܢܐ ܒܬܐ ܘܐܚܐ ܘܐܚܘܬܐ ܘܐܡܗܬܐ ܘܒܢܝܐ ܘܩܘܪܝܐ ܥܡ ܪܕܘܦܝܐ ܘܒܥܠܡܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōn , aiōnios ) |
that shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time: houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the coming age life eternal. (aiōn , aiōnios )
ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܡܟܝܠ ܘܠܥܠܡ ܐܢܫ ܡܢܟܝ ܦܐܪܐ ܠܐ ܢܐܟܘܠ ܘܫܡܥܘ ܬܠܡܝܕܘܗܝ ܘܐܬܘ ܠܐܘܪܫܠܡ (aiōn ) |
And answering he said to it, Let no one eat fruit of thee any more for ever. And his disciples heard [it]. (aiōn )

and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for the ages, and of his kingdom there shall not be an end. (aiōn )

(as he spoke to our fathers, ) to Abraham and to his seed for ever. (aiōn )

as he spoke by [the] mouth of his holy prophets, who have been since the world began; (aiōn )
ܘܒܥܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܡܢܗ ܕܠܐ ܢܦܩܘܕ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܡܐܙܠ ܠܬܗܘܡܐ (Abyssos ) |
And they besought him that he would not command them to go away into the bottomless pit. (Abyssos )
ܘܐܢܬܝ ܟܦܪܢܚܘܡ ܗܝ ܕܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܐܬܬܪܝܡܬܝ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܫܝܘܠ ܬܬܚܬܝܢ (Hadēs ) |
And thou, Capernaum, who hast been raised up to heaven, shalt be brought down even to hades. (Hadēs )
ܘܗܐ ܤܦܪܐ ܚܕ ܩܡ ܕܢܢܤܝܘܗܝ ܘܐܡܪ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܡܢܐ ܐܥܒܕ ܕܐܪܬ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up tempting him, and saying, Teacher, having done what, shall I inherit life eternal? (aiōnios )
ܐܚܘܝܟܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܡܢ ܡܢ ܬܕܚܠܘܢ ܡܢ ܗܘ ܕܡܢ ܒܬܪ ܕܩܛܠ ܫܠܝܛ ܠܡܪܡܝܘ ܒܓܗܢܐ ܐܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܡܢ ܗܢܐ ܕܚܠܘ (Geenna ) |
But I will shew you whom ye shall fear: Fear him who after he has killed has authority to cast into hell; yea, I say to you, Fear him. (Geenna )
ܘܫܒܚ ܡܪܢ ܠܪܒܝܬܐ ܕܥܘܠܐ ܕܚܟܝܡܐܝܬ ܥܒܕ ܒܢܘܗܝ ܓܝܪ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܚܟܝܡܝܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܒܢܘܗܝ ܕܢܘܗܪܐ ܒܫܪܒܬܗܘܢ ܗܕܐ (aiōn ) |
And the lord praised the unrighteous steward because he had done prudently. For the sons of this world are, for their own generation, more prudent than the sons of light. (aiōn )

And I say to you, Make to yourselves friends with the mammon of unrighteousness, that when it fails ye may be received into the eternal tabernacles. (aiōnios )

And in hades lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs )
ܘܫܐܠܗ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܪܫܢܐ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܛܒܐ ܡܢܐ ܐܥܒܕ ܕܐܪܬ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
And a certain ruler asked him saying, Good teacher, having done what, shall I inherit eternal life? (aiōnios )
ܘܠܐ ܢܩܒܠ ܒܐܥܦܐ ܤܓܝܐܐ ܒܗܢܐ ܙܒܢܐ ܘܒܥܠܡܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōn , aiōnios ) |
who shall not receive manifold more at this time, and in the coming age life eternal. (aiōn , aiōnios )
ܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܒܢܘܗܝ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܢܤܒܝܢ ܢܫܐ ܘܢܫܐ ܗܘܝܢ ܠܓܒܪܐ (aiōn ) |
And Jesus said to them, The sons of this world marry and are given in marriage, (aiōn )
ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܠܗܘ ܥܠܡܐ ܫܘܘ ܘܠܩܝܡܬܐ ܕܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܠܐ ܢܤܒܝܢ ܢܫܐ ܘܐܦ ܠܐ ܢܫܐ ܗܘܝܢ ܠܓܒܪܐ (aiōn ) |
but they who are counted worthy to have part in that world, and the resurrection from among [the] dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; (aiōn )
ܕܟܠ ܐܢܫ ܕܡܗܝܡܢ ܒܗ ܠܐ ܢܐܒܕ ܐܠܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܗ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
that every one who believes on him may [not perish, but] have life eternal. (aiōnios )
ܗܟܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܚܒ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܠܒܪܗ ܝܚܝܕܝܐ ܢܬܠ ܕܟܠ ܡܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢ ܒܗ ܠܐ ܢܐܒܕ ܐܠܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܗ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal. (aiōnios )
ܡܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢ ܒܒܪܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܘܡܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܤ ܠܒܪܐ ܠܐ ܢܚܙܐ ܚܝܐ ܐܠܐ ܪܘܓܙܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܢܩܘܐ ܥܠܘܗܝ (aiōnios ) |
He that believes on the Son has life eternal, and he that is not subject to the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him. (aiōnios )
ܟܠ ܕܝܢ ܕܢܫܬܐ ܡܢ ܡܝܐ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܬܠ ܠܗ ܠܐ ܢܨܗܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܐܠܐ ܡܝܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܝܗܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܗ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܒܗ ܡܥܝܢܐ ܕܡܝܐ ܕܢܒܥܝܢ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōn , aiōnios ) |
but whosoever drinks of the water which I shall give him shall never thirst for ever, but the water which I shall give him shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into eternal life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܚܨܕ ܐܓܪܐ ܢܤܒ ܘܟܢܫ ܦܐܪܐ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܘܙܪܘܥܐ ܘܚܨܘܕܐ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܢܚܕܘܢ (aiōnios ) |
He that reaps receives wages and gathers fruit unto life eternal, that both he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together. (aiōnios )

Verily, verily, I say unto you, that he that hears my word, and believes him that has sent me, has life eternal, and does not come into judgment, but is passed out of death into life. (aiōnios )

Ye search the scriptures, for ye think that in them ye have life eternal, and they it is which bear witness concerning me; (aiōnios )

Work not [for] the food which perishes, but [for] the food which abides unto life eternal, which the Son of man shall give to you; for him has the Father sealed, [even] God. (aiōnios )

For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son, and believes on him, should have life eternal; and I will raise him up at the last day. (aiōnios )

I am the living bread which has come down out of heaven: if any one shall have eaten of this bread he shall live for ever; but the bread withal which I shall give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (aiōn )

He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has life eternal, and I will raise him up at the last day: (aiōnios )

This is the bread which has come down out of heaven. Not as the fathers ate and died: he that eats this bread shall live for ever. (aiōn )

Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast words of life eternal; (aiōnios )
ܘܥܒܕܐ ܠܐ ܡܩܘܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܒܒܝܬܐ ܒܪܐ ܕܝܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܡܩܘܐ (aiōn ) |
Now the bondman abides not in the house for ever: the son abides for ever. (aiōn )

The Jews therefore said to him, Now we know that thou hast a demon. Abraham has died, and the prophets, and thou sayest, If any one keep my word, he shall never taste death. (aiōn )

Since time was, it has not been heard that any one opened the eyes of one born blind. (aiōn )

and I give them life eternal; and they shall never perish, and no one shall seize them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
ܘܟܠ ܕܚܝ ܘܡܗܝܡܢ ܒܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܠܐ ܢܡܘܬ ܡܗܝܡܢܬܝ ܗܕܐ (aiōn ) |
and every one who lives and believes on me shall never die. Believest thou this? (aiōn )

He that loves his life shall lose it, and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal. (aiōnios )

The crowd answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abides for ever; and how sayest thou that the Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this, the Son of man? (aiōn )

and I know that his commandment is life eternal. What therefore I speak, as the Father has said to me, so I speak. (aiōnios )

Peter says to him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, Unless I wash thee, thou hast not part with me. (aiōn )
ܘܐܢܐ ܐܒܥܐ ܡܢ ܐܒܝ ܘܐܚܪܢܐ ܦܪܩܠܛܐ ܢܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ (aiōn ) |
And I will beg the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever, (aiōn )
ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܝܗܒܬ ܠܗ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܥܠ ܟܠ ܒܤܪ ܕܟܠ ܡܐ ܕܝܗܒܬ ܠܗ ܢܬܠ ܠܗ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that [as to] all that thou hast given to him, he should give them life eternal. (aiōnios )

And this is the eternal life, that they should know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios )

for thou wilt not leave my soul in hades, nor wilt thou give thy gracious one to see corruption. (Hadēs )

he, seeing [it] before, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither has he been left in hades nor his flesh seen corruption. (Hadēs )
ܕܠܗ ܘܠܐ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܕܢܩܒܠܘܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܘܠܝܐ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܕܟܠܗܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܠܠ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܦܘܡܐ ܕܢܒܝܘܗܝ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܡܢ ܥܠܡ (aiōn ) |
whom heaven indeed must receive till [the] times of [the] restoring of all things, of which God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets since time began. (aiōn )

And Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly and said, It was necessary that the word of God should be first spoken to you; but, since ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the nations; (aiōnios )

And [those of] the nations, hearing it, rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord, and believed, as many as were ordained to eternal life. (aiōnios )

ܟܤܝܬܗ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܡܢ ܬܪܡܝܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܠܒܪܝܬܗ ܒܤܘܟܠܐ ܡܬܚܙܝܢ ܘܚܝܠܗ ܘܐܠܗܘܬܗ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܕܢܗܘܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܦܩ ܒܪܘܚ (aïdios ) |
— for from [the] world's creation the invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity, — so as to render them inexcusable. (aïdios )
ܘܚܠܦܘ ܫܪܪܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܟܕܒܘܬܐ ܘܕܚܠܘ ܘܫܡܫܘ ܠܒܪܝܬܐ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܕܠܒܪܘܝܗܝܢ ܕܠܗ ܬܫܒܚܢ ܘܒܘܪܟܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
who changed the truth of God into falsehood, and honoured and served the creature more than him who had created [it], who is blessed for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܒܡܤܝܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܕܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܬܚܒܠܢܘܬܐ ܒܥܝܢ ܝܗܒ ܠܗܘܢ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
to them who, in patient continuance of good works, seek for glory and honour and incorruptibility, life eternal. (aiōnios )
ܕܐܝܟ ܕܐܡܠܟܬ ܚܛܝܬܐ ܒܡܘܬܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܬܡܠܟ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܒܝܕ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ (aiōnios ) |
in order that, even as sin has reigned in [the power of] death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
ܘܗܫܐ ܕܐܬܚܪܪܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܚܛܝܬܐ ܘܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܥܒܕܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܦܐܪܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܚܪܬܗܘܢ ܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
But now, having got your freedom from sin, and having become bondmen to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end eternal life. (aiōnios )

For the wages of sin [is] death; but the act of favour of God, eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios )
ܘܐܒܗܬܐ ܘܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܬܚܙܝ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܒܤܪ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܥܠ ܟܠ ܕܠܗ ܬܫܒܚܢ ܘܒܘܪܟܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
whose [are] the fathers; and of whom, as according to flesh, [is] the Christ, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
ܘܡܢܘ ܢܚܬ ܠܬܗܘܡܐ ܕܫܝܘܠ ܘܐܤܩ ܠܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ (Abyssos ) |
or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from among [the] dead. (Abyssos )
ܚܒܫ ܓܝܪ ܐܠܗܐ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܒܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܤܢܘܬܐ ܕܥܠ ܟܠ ܐܢܫ ܢܪܚܡ (eleēsē ) |
For God hath shut up together all in unbelief, in order that he might shew mercy to all. (eleēsē )

And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of [your] mind, that ye may prove what [is] the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (aiōn )

Now to him that is able to establish you, according to my glad tidings and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to [the] revelation of [the] mystery, as to which silence has been kept in [the] times of the ages, (aiōnios )
ܕܗܘܝܘ ܚܟܝܡܐ ܒܠܚܘܕܘܗܝ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܒܝܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܥܠܡܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōnios ) |
but [which] has now been made manifest, and by prophetic scriptures, according to commandment of the eternal God, made known for obedience of faith to all the nations — (aiōnios )
ܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܥܡ ܟܠܟܘܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
[the] only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
ܐܝܟܐ ܗܘ ܚܟܝܡܐ ܐܘ ܐܝܟܐ ܗܘ ܤܦܪܐ ܐܘ ܐܝܟܐ ܗܘ ܕܪܘܫܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܗܐ ܐܫܛܝܗ ܐܠܗܐ ܚܟܡܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ (aiōn ) |
Where [is the] wise? where scribe? where disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn )
ܚܟܡܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܡܡܠܠܝܢܢ ܒܓܡܝܪܐ ܚܟܡܬܐ ܠܐ ܕܗܢܐ ܥܠܡܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܕܫܠܝܛܢܘܗܝ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܡܬܒܛܠܝܢ (aiōn ) |
But we speak wisdom among the perfect; but wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who come to nought. (aiōn )
ܐܠܐ ܡܡܠܠܝܢܢ ܚܟܡܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܐܪܙ ܗܝ ܕܡܟܤܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܘܩܕܡ ܗܘܐ ܦܪܫܗ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܥܠܡܐ ܠܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܝܠܢ (aiōn ) |
But we speak God's wisdom in [a] mystery, that hidden [wisdom] which God had predetermined before the ages for our glory: (aiōn )
ܗܝ ܕܚܕ ܡܢ ܫܠܝܛܢܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܗ ܐܠܘ ܓܝܪ ܝܕܥܘܗ ܠܘ ܠܡܪܗ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܙܩܦܝܢ ܗܘܘ (aiōn ) |
which none of the princes of this age knew, (for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; ) (aiōn )
ܐܢܫ ܠܐ ܢܛܥܐ ܢܦܫܗ ܡܢ ܕܤܒܪ ܒܟܘܢ ܕܚܟܝܡ ܗܘ ܒܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܤܟܠܐ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܚܟܝܡܐ (aiōn ) |
Let no one deceive himself: if any one thinks himself to be wise among you in this world, let him become foolish, that he may be wise. (aiōn )
ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܢ ܡܐܟܘܠܬܐ ܡܟܫܠܐ ܠܐܚܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܒܤܪܐ ܠܐ ܐܟܘܠ ܕܠܐ ܐܟܫܠ ܠܐܚܝ (aiōn ) |
Wherefore if meat be a fall-trap to my brother, I will eat no flesh for ever, that I may not be a fall-trap to my brother. (aiōn )
ܗܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܕܓܕܫ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܛܘܦܤܢ ܗܘܝ ܘܐܬܟܬܒ ܡܛܠ ܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܕܝܠܢ ܕܚܪܬܗܘܢ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܥܠܝܢ ܡܛܝܬ (aiōn ) |
Now all these things happened to them [as] types, and have been written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come. (aiōn )
ܐܝܟܘ ܥܘܩܤܟ ܡܘܬܐ ܐܘ ܐܝܟܐ ܗܝ ܙܟܘܬܟܝ ܫܝܘܠ (Hadēs ) |
Where, O death, [is] thy sting? where, O death, thy victory? (Hadēs )
ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܠܗܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܥܘܪ ܡܕܥܝܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܕܠܐ ܡܗܝܡܢܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܢܕܢܚ ܠܗܘܢ ܢܘܗܪܗ ܕܐܘܢܓܠܝܘܢ ܕܫܘܒܚܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܗܘܝܘ ܕܡܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ (aiōn ) |
in whom the god of this world has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the radiancy of the glad tidings of the glory of the Christ, who is [the] image of God, should not shine forth [for them]. (aiōn )
ܐܘܠܨܢܗ ܓܝܪ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܗܢܐ ܟܕ ܛܒ ܙܥܘܪ ܘܩܠܝܠ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܪܒܐ ܕܠܐ ܤܟܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܡܛܝܒ ܠܢ (aiōnios ) |
For our momentary [and] light affliction works for us in surpassing measure an eternal weight of glory; (aiōnios )
ܕܠܐ ܚܕܝܢܢ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܬܚܙܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܒܗܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܚܙܝܢ ܕܡܬܚܙܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܐܢܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܚܙܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܐܢܝܢ (aiōnios ) |
while we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen; for the things that are seen [are] for a time, but those that are not seen eternal. (aiōnios )
ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܢ ܒܝܬܢ ܕܒܐܪܥܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܦܓܪܐ ܢܫܬܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܢ ܒܢܝܢܐ ܕܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܒܥܒܕ ܐܝܕܝܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
For we know that if our earthly tabernacle house be destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios )

according as it is written, He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor, his righteousness remains for ever. (aiōn )

The God and Father of the Lord Jesus knows — he who is blessed for ever — that I do not lie. (aiōn )

who gave himself for our sins, so that he should deliver us out of the present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father; (aiōn )

to whom [be] glory to the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )

For he that sows to his own flesh, shall reap corruption from the flesh; but he that sows to the Spirit, from the Spirit shall reap eternal life: (aiōnios )

above every principality, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in that to come; (aiōn )
ܒܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܗܠܟܬܘܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܗܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܠܡܝܘܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܪܝܫ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܕܐܐܪ ܘܕܪܘܚܐ ܗܕܐ ܕܡܬܚܦܛܐ ܒܒܢܝܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܤܢܘܬܐ (aiōn ) |
in which ye once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience: (aiōn )
ܕܢܚܘܐ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܕܐܬܝܢ ܪܒܘܬܐ ܕܥܘܬܪܐ ܕܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܘܒܤܝܡܘܬܗ ܕܗܘܬ ܥܠܝܢ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ (aiōn ) |
that he might display in the coming ages the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn )
ܘܐܢܗܪ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܐܝܕܐ ܗܝ ܡܕܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܕܐܪܙܐ ܗܘ ܕܟܤܐ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܥܠܡܐ ܒܐܠܗܐ ܕܟܠ ܒܪܐ (aiōn ) |
and to enlighten all [with the knowledge of] what is the administration of the mystery hidden throughout the ages in God, who has created all things, (aiōn )
ܗܝ ܕܥܬܕ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܥܠܡܐ ܘܥܒܕܗ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܪܢ (aiōn ) |
according to [the] purpose of the ages, which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord, (aiōn )
ܠܗ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܒܥܕܬܗ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܪܐ ܕܥܠܡܝ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
to him be glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus unto all generations of the age of ages. Amen). (aiōn )
ܡܛܠ ܕܬܟܬܘܫܟܘܢ ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܥܡ ܒܤܪܐ ܘܕܡܐ ܐܠܐ ܥܡ ܐܪܟܘܤ ܘܥܡ ܫܠܝܛܢܐ ܘܥܡ ܐܚܝܕܝ ܥܠܡܐ ܕܗܢܐ ܚܫܘܟܐ ܘܥܡ ܪܘܚܐ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܕܬܚܝܬ ܫܡܝܐ (aiōn ) |
because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies. (aiōn )
ܠܐܠܗܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܒܘܢ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |

ܐܪܙܐ ܗܘ ܕܡܟܤܝ ܗܘܐ ܡܢ ܥܠܡܐ ܘܡܢ ܕܪܐ ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܓܠܝ ܠܩܕܝܫܘܗܝ (aiōn ) |
the mystery which [has been] hidden from ages and from generations, but has now been made manifest to his saints; (aiōn )
ܕܗܢܘܢ ܒܕܝܢܐ ܢܬܦܪܥܘܢ ܐܒܕܢܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܡܢ ܦܪܨܘܦܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܘܡܢ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܚܝܠܗ (aiōnios ) |
who shall pay the penalty [of] everlasting destruction from [the] presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his might, (aiōnios )
ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܢ ܗܘ ܕܐܚܒܢ ܘܝܗܒ ܠܢ ܒܘܝܐܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܘܤܒܪܐ ܛܒܐ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܗ (aiōnios ) |
But our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us, and given [us] eternal consolation and good hope by grace, (aiōnios )
ܐܠܐ ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܪܚܡ ܥܠܝ ܕܒܝ ܩܕܡܐ ܢܚܘܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܟܠܗ ܡܓܪܬ ܪܘܚܗ ܠܬܚܘܝܬܐ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܥܬܝܕܝܢ ܕܢܗܝܡܢܘܢ ܒܗ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
But for this reason mercy was shewn me, that in me, [the] first, Jesus Christ might display the whole long-suffering, for a delineation of those about to believe on him to life eternal. (aiōnios )

Now to the King of the ages, [the] incorruptible, invisible, only God, honour and glory to the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )

Strive earnestly [in] the good conflict of faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which thou hast been called, and hast confessed the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )

who only has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor is able to see; to whom [be] honour and eternal might. Amen. (aiōnios )

Enjoin on those rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to trust on the uncertainty of riches; but in the God who affords us all things richly for [our] enjoyment; (aiōn )

who has saved us, and has called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to [his] own purpose and grace, which [was] given to us in Christ Jesus before [the] ages of time, (aiōnios )

For this cause I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which [is] in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. (aiōnios )

for Demas has forsaken me, having loved the present age, and is gone to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn )
ܘܢܦܨܝܢܝ ܡܪܝ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܥܒܕ ܒܝܫ ܘܢܚܝܢܝ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܒܫܡܝܐ ܕܠܗ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
The Lord shall deliver me from every wicked work, and shall preserve [me] for his heavenly kingdom; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )

in [the] hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the ages of time, (aiōnios )
ܘܪܕܝܐ ܠܢ ܕܢܟܦܘܪ ܒܪܘܫܥܐ ܘܒܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܘܢܚܐ ܒܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܒܢܟܦܘܬܐ ܘܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ (aiōn ) |
teaching us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in the present course of things, (aiōn )
ܕܒܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܢܙܕܕܩ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܝܪܬܐ ܒܤܒܪܐ ܒܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
that, having been justified by his grace, we should become heirs according to [the] hope of eternal life. (aiōnios )

for perhaps for this reason he has been separated [from thee] for a time, that thou mightest possess him fully for ever; (aiōnios )

at the end of these days has spoken to us in [the person of the] Son, whom he has established heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (aiōn )

but as to the Son, Thy throne, O God, [is] to the age of the age, and a sceptre of uprightness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom. (aiōn )

Even as also in another [place] he says, Thou [art] a priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn )
ܘܗܟܢܐ ܐܬܓܡܪ ܘܗܘܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܫܬܡܥܝܢ ܠܗ ܥܠܬܐ ܕܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
and having been perfected, became to all them that obey him, author of eternal salvation; (aiōnios )
ܘܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܕܡܥܡܘܕܝܬܐ ܘܕܤܝܡ ܐܝܕܐ ܘܠܩܝܡܬܐ ܕܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܘܠܕܝܢܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
of [the] doctrine of washings, and of imposition of hands, and of resurrection of [the] dead, and of eternal judgment; (aiōnios )
ܘܛܥܡܘ ܡܠܬܐ ܛܒܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܚܝܠܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܕܥܬܝܕ (aiōn ) |
and have tasted the good word of God, and [the] works of power of [the] age to come, (aiōn )

where Jesus is entered as forerunner for us, become for ever a high priest according to the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn )

(for they are become priests without the swearing of an oath, but he with the swearing of an oath, by him who said, as to him, The Lord has sworn, and will not repent [of it], Thou [art] priest for ever [according to the order of Melchisedec]; ) (aiōn )

but he, because of his continuing for ever, has the priesthood unchangeable. (aiōn )
ܢܡܘܤܐ ܓܝܪ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܗܘ ܟܪܝܗܐ ܡܩܝ ܟܘܡܪܐ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܡܘܡܬܐ ܕܗܘܬ ܒܬܪ ܢܡܘܤܐ ܒܪܐ ܓܡܝܪܐ ܠܥܠ (aiōn ) |
For the law constitutes men high priests, having infirmity; but the word of the swearing of the oath which [is] after the law, a Son perfected for ever. (aiōn )
ܘܠܐ ܥܠ ܒܕܡܐ ܕܨܦܪܝܐ ܘܕܥܓܠܐ ܐܠܐ ܒܕܡܐ ܕܢܦܫܗ ܥܠ ܚܕܐ ܙܒܢ ܠܒܝܬ ܡܩܕܫܐ ܘܐܫܟܚ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܕܠܥܠ (aiōnios ) |
nor by blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, has entered in once for all into the [holy of] holies, having found an eternal redemption. (aiōnios )
ܟܡܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܕܡܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܠܥܠ ܢܦܫܗ ܩܪܒ ܕܠܐ ܡܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܢܕܟܐ ܬܐܪܬܢ ܡܢ ܥܒܕܐ ܡܝܬܐ ܕܢܫܡܫ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܚܝܐ (aiōnios ) |
how much rather shall the blood of the Christ, who by the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works to worship [the] living God? (aiōnios )
ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܘ ܗܘܐ ܡܨܥܝܐ ܕܕܝܬܩܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܕܒܡܘܬܗ ܗܘ ܗܘܐ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܥܒܪܘ ܥܠ ܕܝܬܩܐ ܩܕܡܝܬܐ ܕܢܤܒܘܢ ܡܘܠܟܢܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܬܩܪܝܘ ܠܝܪܬܘܬܐ ܕܠܥܠ (aiōnios ) |
And for this reason he is mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having taken place for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, the called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (aiōnios )
ܘܐܢ ܠܐ ܚܝܒ ܗܘܐ ܕܙܒܢܬܐ ܤܓܝܐܬܐ ܢܚܫ ܡܢ ܫܘܪܝܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܚܪܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܚܕܐ ܗܘ ܙܒܢ ܩܪܒ ܢܦܫܗ ܒܕܒܝܚܘܬܗ ܕܢܒܛܠܝܗ ܠܚܛܝܬܐ (aiōn ) |
since he had [then] been obliged often to suffer from the foundation of the world. But now once in the consummation of the ages he has been manifested for [the] putting away of sin by his sacrifice. (aiōn )

By faith we apprehend that the worlds were framed by [the] word of God, so that that which is seen should not take its origin from things which appear. (aiōn )

Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, and to-day, and to the ages [to come]. (aiōn )

But the God of peace, who brought again from among [the] dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, in [the power of the] blood of [the] eternal covenant, (aiōnios )

perfect you in every good work to the doing of his will, doing in you what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )
ܘܠܫܢܐ ܢܘܪܐ ܗܘ ܘܥܠܡܐ ܕܚܛܝܬܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܐ ܗܘ ܘܗܘ ܠܫܢܐ ܟܕ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܒܗܕܡܝܢ ܡܟܬܡ ܠܗ ܠܟܠܗ ܦܓܪܢ ܘܡܘܩܕ ܝܘܒܠܐ ܕܫܪܒܬܢ ܕܪܗܛܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܓܝܓܠܐ ܘܝܩܕ ܐܦ ܗܘ ܒܢܘܪܐ (Geenna ) |
and the tongue [is] fire, the world of unrighteousness; the tongue is set in our members, the defiler of the whole body, and which sets fire to the course of nature, and is set on fire of hell. (Geenna )
ܐܝܟ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܡܢ ܕܪܝܫ ܐܬܝܠܕܬܘܢ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܙܪܥܐ ܕܒܠܐ ܐܠܐ ܡܢ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܒܠܐ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܚܝܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܩܝܡܐ ܠܥܠܡ (aiōn ) |
being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by [the] living and abiding word of God. (aiōn )
ܘܡܠܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܢ ܩܝܡܐ ܠܥܠܡܝܢ ܘܗܕܐ ܗܝ ܡܠܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܐܤܬܒܪܬܘܢ (aiōn ) |
but the word of [the] Lord abides for eternity. But this is the word which in the glad tidings [is] preached to you. (aiōn )
ܟܠܡܢ ܕܡܡܠܠ ܐܝܟ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܢܡܠܠ ܘܟܠܡܢ ܕܡܫܡܫ ܐܝܟ ܕܡܢ ܚܝܠܐ ܗܘ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܝܗܒ ܠܗ ܕܒܟܠ ܕܥܒܕܝܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܢܫܬܒܚ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܝܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܘ ܕܕܝܠܗ ܗܝ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
If any one speak — as oracles of God; if any one minister — as of strength which God supplies; that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the might for the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )

But the God of all grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, when ye have suffered for a little while, himself shall make perfect, stablish, strengthen, ground: (aiōnios )
ܕܠܗ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܐܘܚܕܢܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |

for thus shall the entrance into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be richly furnished unto you. (aiōnios )

For if God spared not [the] angels who had sinned, but having cast them down to the deepest pit of gloom has delivered them to chains of darkness [to be] kept for judgment; (Tartaroō )
ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܡܬܪܒܝܢ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܒܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܡܪܢ ܘܦܪܘܩܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܐ ܕܠܗ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܐܦ ܗܫܐ ܘܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܘܠܝܘܡܝ ܥܠܡܐ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
but grow in grace, and in [the] knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and to [the] day of eternity. Amen. (aiōn )

(and the life has been manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and report to you the eternal life, which was with the Father, and has been manifested to us: ) (aiōnios )

And the world is passing, and its lust, but he that does the will of God abides for eternity. (aiōn )

And this is the promise which he has promised us, life eternal. (aiōnios )

Every one that hates his brother is a murderer, and ye know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (aiōnios )

ܘܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܕܒܪܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܐܬܐ ܘܝܗܒ ܠܢ ܡܕܥܐ ܕܢܕܥ ܠܫܪܝܪܐ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܒܗ ܒܫܪܝܪܐ ܒܒܪܗ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܢܐ ܗܘ ܐܠܗܐ ܫܪܝܪܐ ܘܚܝܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding that we should know him that [is] true; and we are in him that [is] true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios )
ܡܛܠ ܫܪܪܐ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܡܩܘܐ ܒܢ ܘܥܡܢ ܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܠܥܠܡ (aiōn ) |
for the truth's sake which abides in us and shall be with us to eternity. (aiōn )
ܘܠܡܠܐܟܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܢܛܪܘ ܪܝܫܢܘܬܗܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܫܒܩܘ ܥܘܡܪܐ ܕܝܠܗܘܢ ܠܕܝܢܐ ܕܝܘܡܐ ܪܒܐ ܒܐܤܘܪܐ ܠܐ ܝܕܝܥܐ ܬܚܝܬ ܥܡܛܢܐ ܢܛܪ (aïdios ) |
And angels who had not kept their own original state, but had abandoned their own dwelling, he keeps in eternal chains under gloomy darkness, to [the] judgment of [the] great day; (aïdios )
ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܤܕܘܡ ܘܥܡܘܪܐ ܘܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܚܕܪܝܗܝܢ ܕܒܗ ܒܕܡܘܬܐ ܕܗܠܝܢ ܙܢܝ ܘܐܙܠ ܒܬܪ ܒܤܪܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܤܝܡܢ ܬܚܝܬ ܬܚܘܝܬܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܟܕ ܡܚܝܒܢ ܠܕܝܢܐ (aiōnios ) |
as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities around them, committing greedily fornication, in like manner with them, and going after other flesh, lie there as an example, undergoing the judgment of eternal fire. (aiōnios )
ܓܠܠܐ ܥܙܝܙܐ ܕܝܡܐ ܕܒܝܕ ܪܘܥܬܗܘܢ ܡܚܘܝܢ ܒܗܬܬܗܘܢ ܟܘܟܒܐ ܡܛܥܝܢܐ ܠܗܠܝܢ ܕܥܡܛܢܐ ܕܚܫܘܟܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܠܗܘܢ ܢܛܝܪ (aiōn ) |
raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shames; wandering stars, to whom has been reserved the gloom of darkness for eternity. (aiōn )
ܢܦܫܢ ܕܝܢ ܒܚܘܒܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܢܛܪ ܟܕ ܡܤܟܝܢܢ ܠܚܢܢܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܚܝܐ ܕܝܠܢ ܕܠܥܠܡ (aiōnios ) |
keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios )
ܒܠܚܘܕܘܗܝ ܐܠܗܐ ܦܪܘܩܢ ܒܝܕ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܪܢ ܩܕܡ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ ܒܚܕܘܬܐ ܠܗ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܘܐܘܚܕܢܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܪܒܘܬܐ ܐܦ ܗܫܐ ܘܒܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܠܡܐ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, [be] glory, majesty, might, and authority, from before the whole age, and now, and to all the ages. Amen. (aiōn )
ܘܥܒܕ ܠܢ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܟܗܢܝܬܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܘܐܒܘܗܝ ܘܠܗ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܘܚܕܢܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father: to him [be] the glory and the might to the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )
ܘܕܚܝ ܘܕܡܝܬܐ ܗܘܝܬ ܘܗܐ ܚܝܐ ܐܝܬܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܘܐܝܬ ܠܝ ܩܠܝܕܐ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܘܕܫܝܘܠ (aiōn , Hadēs ) |
and the living one: and I became dead, and behold, I am living to the ages of ages, and have the keys of death and of hades. (aiōn , Hadēs )
ܘܡܐ ܕܝܗܒ ܐܪܒܥܬܝܗܝܢ ܚܝܘܬܐ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܩܘܒܠ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܠܕܝܬܒ ܥܠ ܟܘܪܤܝܐ ܘܠܕܚܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
And when the living creatures shall give glory and honour and thanksgiving to him that sits upon the throne, who lives to the ages of ages, (aiōn )
ܢܦܠܘܢ ܥܤܪܝܢ ܘܐܪܒܥܐ ܩܫܝܫܝܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܢ ܕܝܬܒ ܥܠ ܟܘܪܤܝܐ ܘܢܤܓܕܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܠܡܢ ܕܚܝ ܘܢܪܡܘܢ ܟܠܝܠܝܗܘܢ ܩܕܡ ܟܘܪܤܝܐ ܟܕ ܐܡܪܝܢ (aiōn ) |
the twenty-four elders shall fall before him that sits upon the throne, and do homage to him that lives to the ages of ages; and shall cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (aiōn )
ܘܟܠ ܒܪܝܬܐ ܕܒܫܡܝܐ ܘܒܐܪܥܐ ܘܕܠܬܚܬ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܕܒܝܡܐ ܐܝܬܝܗ ܘܟܠ ܕܒܗܘܢ ܘܫܡܥܬ ܕܐܡܪܝܢ ܠܕܝܬܒ ܥܠ ܟܘܪܤܝܐ ܘܠܐܡܪܐ ܕܒܘܪܟܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܐܘܚܕܢܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
And every creature which is in the heaven and upon the earth and under the earth, and [those that are] upon the sea, and all things in them, heard I saying, To him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing, and honour, and glory, and might, to the ages of ages. (aiōn )

And I saw: and behold, a pale horse, and he that sat upon it, his name [was] Death, and hades followed with him; and authority was given to him over the fourth of the earth to slay with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth. (Hadēs )
ܟܕ ܐܡܪܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ ܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܒܘܪܟܬܐ ܘܚܟܡܬܐ ܘܩܘܒܠ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܘܚܝܠܐ ܘܥܘܫܢܐ ܠܐܠܗܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and strength, to our God, to the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn )
ܘܕܚܡܫܐ ܙܥܩ ܘܚܙܝܬ ܟܘܟܒܐ ܕܢܦܠ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܐܬܝܗܒ ܠܗ ܩܠܝܕܐ ܕܒܐܪܘܗܝ ܕܬܗܘܡܐ (Abyssos ) |
And the fifth angel sounded [his] trumpet: and I saw a star out of the heaven fallen to the earth; and there was given to it the key of the pit of the abyss. (Abyssos )
ܘܤܠܩ ܬܢܢܐ ܡܢ ܒܐܪܐ ܐܝܟ ܬܢܢܐ ܕܐܬܘܢܐ ܪܒܐ ܕܡܫܬܓܪ ܘܚܫܟ ܫܡܫܐ ܘܐܐܪ ܡܢ ܬܢܢܐ ܕܒܐܪܐ (Abyssos ) |
And it opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up smoke out of the pit as [the] smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos )
ܘܐܝܬ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܡܠܟܐ ܡܠܐܟܗ ܕܬܗܘܡܐ ܕܫܡܗ ܥܒܪܐܝܬ ܥܒܕܘ ܘܐܪܡܐܝܬ ܫܡܐ ܠܗ ܐܝܬ ܫܪܐ (Abyssos ) |
They have a king over them, the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew, Abaddon, and in Greek he has [for] name Apollyon. (Abyssos )
ܘܝܡܐ ܒܗܘ ܕܚܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܗܘ ܕܒܪܗ ܠܫܡܝܐ ܘܕܒܗ ܘܠܐܪܥܐ ܘܕܒܗ ܕܬܘܒ ܙܒܢܐ ܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ (aiōn ) |
and swore by him that lives to the ages of ages, who created the heaven and the things that are in it, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be no longer delay; (aiōn )
ܘܡܐ ܕܫܡܠܝܘ ܤܗܕܘܬܗܘܢ ܚܝܘܬܐ ܕܤܠܩܐ ܡܢ ܝܡܐ ܬܥܒܕ ܥܡܗܘܢ ܩܪܒܐ ܘܬܙܟܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܬܩܛܘܠ ܐܢܘܢ (Abyssos ) |
And when they shall have completed their testimony, the beast who comes up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and shall conquer them, and shall kill them: (Abyssos )
ܘܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܫܒܥܐ ܙܥܩ ܘܗܘܘ ܩܠܐ ܪܘܪܒܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܕܐܡܪܝܢ ܗܘܬ ܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܕܐܠܗܢ ܘܕܡܫܝܚܗ ܘܐܡܠܟ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
And the seventh angel sounded [his] trumpet: and there were great voices in the heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world of our Lord and of his Christ is come, and he shall reign to the ages of ages. (aiōn )
ܘܚܙܝܬ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܦܪܚ ܡܨܥܬ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܐܝܬ ܠܗ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܤܒܪܬܐ ܕܠܥܠܡ ܠܡܤܒܪܘ ܥܠ ܝܬܒܝ ܐܪܥܐ ܘܥܠ ܟܠ ܥܡ ܘܐܡܘܢ ܘܫܪܒܢ ܘܠܫܢ (aiōnios ) |
And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having [the] everlasting glad tidings to announce to those settled on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people, (aiōnios )
ܘܬܢܢܐ ܕܬܫܢܝܩܗܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܢܤܩ ܘܠܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܢܦܐܫܐ ܐܝܡܡܐ ܘܠܠܝܐ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܤܓܕܝܢ ܠܚܝܘܬܐ ܘܠܨܠܡܗ ܘܠܡܢ ܕܫܩܠ ܪܘܫܡܐ ܕܫܡܗ (aiōn ) |
And the smoke of their torment goes up to ages of ages, and they have no respite day and night who do homage to the beast and to its image, and if any one receive the mark of its name. (aiōn )
ܘܚܕܐ ܡܢ ܐܪܒܥ ܚܝܘܬܐ ܝܗܒܬ ܠܫܒܥܐ ܡܠܐܟܝܢ ܫܒܥ ܙܒܘܪܝܢ ܕܡܠܝܢ ܚܡܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܚܝܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls, full of the fury of God, who lives to the ages of ages. (aiōn )

The beast which thou sawest was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go into destruction: and they who dwell on the earth, whose names are not written from the founding of the world in the book of life, shall wonder, seeing the beast, that it was, and is not, and shall be present. (Abyssos )
ܕܬܪܬܝܢ ܐܡܪܘ ܗܠܠܘܝܐ ܘܬܢܢܗ ܤܠܩ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
And a second time they said, Hallelujah. And her smoke goes up to the ages of ages. (aiōn )
ܘܐܬܬܨܝܕܬ ܚܝܘܬܐ ܘܢܒܝܐ ܕܓܠܐ ܥܡܗ ܗܘ ܕܥܒܕ ܐܬܘܬܐ ܩܕܡܝܗ ܕܒܗܝܢ ܐܛܥܝ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܢܤܒܘ ܪܘܫܡܐ ܕܚܝܘܬܐ ܘܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܤܓܕܘ ܠܨܠܡܗ ܘܢܚܬܘ ܬܪܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܬܪܡܝܘ ܒܝܡܬܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܕܝܩܕܐ ܘܕܟܒܪܝܬܐ (Limnē Pyr ) |
And the beast was taken, and the false prophet that [was] with him, who wrought the signs before him by which he deceived them that received the mark of the beast, and those that worship his image. Alive were both cast into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone; (Limnē Pyr )
ܘܚܙܝܬ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܡܠܐܟܐ ܕܢܚܬ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܩܠܝܕܐ ܕܬܗܘܡܐ ܘܫܝܫܠܬܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܒܐܝܕܗ (Abyssos ) |
And I saw an angel descending from the heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos )
ܘܐܪܡܝܗ ܒܬܗܘܡܐ ܘܐܚܕ ܘܛܒܥ ܠܥܠ ܡܢܗ ܕܠܐ ܬܘܒ ܢܛܥܐ ܠܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ ܒܬܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܝܗܝܒ ܠܡܫܪܝܗ ܩܠܝܠ ܙܒܢܐ (Abyssos ) |
and cast him into the abyss, and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he should not any more deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be loosed for a little time. (Abyssos )
ܘܐܟܠܩܪܨܐ ܡܛܥܝܢܗܘܢ ܐܬܪܡܝ ܒܝܡܬܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܘܟܒܪܝܬܐ ܐܝܟܐ ܕܚܝܘܬܐ ܘܢܒܝܐ ܕܓܠܐ ܘܢܫܬܢܩܘܢ ܐܝܡܡܐ ܘܠܠܝܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ (aiōn , Limnē Pyr ) |
And the devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where [are] both the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for the ages of ages. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
ܘܝܗܒ ܝܡܐ ܡܝܬܐ ܕܒܗ ܘܡܘܬܐ ܘܫܝܘܠ ܝܗܒܘ ܡܝܬܐ ܕܨܐܝܕܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܬܕܝܢ ܚܕ ܚܕ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܝܗܘܢ (Hadēs ) |
And the sea gave up the dead which [were] in it, and death and hades gave up the dead which [were] in them; and they were judged each according to their works: (Hadēs )
ܘܡܘܬܐ ܘܫܝܘܠ ܐܬܪܡܝܘ ܒܝܡܬܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܡܘܬܐ ܬܢܝܢܐ (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr ) |
and death and hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, [even] the lake of fire. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
ܘܐܝܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܐܫܬܟܚ ܕܪܫܝܡ ܒܟܬܒܐ ܕܚܝܐ ܐܬܪܡܝ ܒܝܡܬܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ (Limnē Pyr ) |
And if any one was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire. (Limnē Pyr )
ܠܩܢܘܛܬܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܘܠܐ ܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܘܥܘܠܐ ܘܡܤܝܒܐ ܘܩܛܘܠܐ ܘܚܪܫܐ ܘܙܢܝܐ ܘܦܠܚܝ ܦܬܟܪܐ ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܓܠܐ ܡܢܬܗܘܢ ܒܝܡܬܐ ܝܩܕܬܐ ܕܢܘܪܐ ܘܟܒܪܝܬܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܕܐܝܬܝܗ ܡܘܬܐ ܬܢܝܢܐ (Limnē Pyr ) |
But to the fearful and unbelieving, [and sinners], and those who make themselves abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part [is] in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. (Limnē Pyr )
ܘܠܠܝܐ ܠܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܬܡܢ ܘܠܐ ܢܬܒܥܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܘܫܪܓܐ ܘܢܘܗܪܗ ܕܫܡܫܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܢܗܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܘܡܠܟܗܘܢ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ (aiōn ) |
And night shall not be any more, and no need of a lamp, and light of [the] sun; for [the] Lord God shall shine upon them, and they shall reign to the ages of ages. (aiōn )
