نَشِيد الأنشاد 7

١ 1 (المُحِبُّ): مَا أَرْشَقَ خَطْوَاتِ قَدَمَيْكِ بِالْحِذَاءِ يَا بِنْتَ الأَمِيرِ! فَخْذَاكِ الْمُسْتَدِيرَانِ كَجَوْهَرَتَيْنِ صَاغَتْهُمَا يَدُ صَانِعٍ حَاذِقٍ.

what? be beautiful beat your in/on/with sandal daughter noble curve thigh your like ornament deed: work hand artisan

٢ 2 سُرَّتُكِ كَأْسٌ مُدَوَّرَةٌ، لَا تَحْتَاجُ إِلَى خَمْرَةٍ مَمْزُوجَةٍ، وَبَطْنُكِ كُومَةُ حِنْطَةٍ مُسَيَّجَةٌ بِالسَّوْسَنِ.

navel your vessel [the] roundness not to lack [the] mixture belly: abdomen your heap wheat to fence in/on/with lily

٣ 3 نَهْدَاكِ كَتَوْأَمَي ظَبْيَةٍ.

two breast your like/as two fawn twin gazelle

٤ 4 عُنُقُكِ (مَصْقُولٌ) كَبُرْجٍ مِنْ عَاجٍ. عَيْنَاكِ (عَمِيقَتَانِ سَاكِنَتَانِ) كَبِرْكَتَيْ حَشْبُونَ عِنْدَ بَابِ بَثِّ رَبِّيمَ. أَنْفُكِ (شَامِخٌ) كَبُرْجِ لُبْنَانَ الْمُشْرِفِ عَلَى دِمَشْقَ،

neck your like/as tower [the] tooth: ivory eye your pool in/on/with Heshbon upon gate Bath-rabbim Bath-rabbim face: nose your like/as tower [the] Lebanon to watch face: before Damascus

٥ 5 رَأْسُكِ كَالكَرْمَلِ، وَغَدَائِرُ شَعْرِكِ الْمُتَهَدِّلَةُ كَأُرْجُوَانٍ، قَدْ وَقَعَ الْمَلِكُ أَسِيرَ هَذِهِ الْخُصَلِ.

head your upon you like/as Carmel and hair head your like/as purple king to bind in/on/with lock

٦ 6 مَا أَجْمَلَكِ أَيَّتُهَا الْحَبِيبَةُ وَمَا أَلَذَّكِ بِالْمَسَرَّاتِ!

what? be beautiful and what? be pleasant love in/on/with luxury

٧ 7 قَامَتُكِ هَذِهِ مِثْلُ النَّخْلَةِ، وَنَهْدَاكِ مِثْلُ الْعَنَاقِيدِ.

this height your to resemble to/for palm and breast your to/for cluster

٨ 8 قُلْتُ: لأَصْعَدَنَّ إِلَى النَّخْلَةِ وَأُمْسِكَنَّ بِثِمَارِهَا، فَيَكُونَ لِي نَهْدَاكِ كَعَنَاقِيدِ الْكَرْمِ، وَعَبِيرُ أَنْفَاسِكِ كَأَرِيجِ التُّفَّاحِ.

to say to ascend: rise in/on/with palm to grasp in/on/with fruit-stalk his and to be please breast your like/as cluster [the] vine (and aroma *L(b)*) face: nose your like/as apple

٩ 9 فَمُكِ كَأَجْوَدِ الْخَمْرِ! (الْمَحْبُوبَةُ): لِتَكُنْ سَائِغَةً لِحَبِيبِي، تَسِيلُ عَذْبَةً عَلَى شِفَاهِ النَّائِمِينَ.

and palate your like/as wine [the] pleasant to go: went to/for beloved my to/for uprightness to glide lips sleeping

١٠ 10 أَنَا لِحَبِيبِي، وإِلَيَّ تَشَوُّقُهُ.

I to/for beloved my and upon me desire his

١١ 11 تَعَالَ يَا حَبِيبِي لِنَمْضِ إِلَى الْحَقْلِ وَلْنَبِتْ فِي الْقُرَى.

to go: come! [emph?] beloved my to come out: come [the] land: country to lodge in/on/with village

١٢ 12 لِنَخْرُجْ مُبَكِّرَيْنِ إِلَى الْكُرُومِ، لِنَرَى هَلْ أَفْرَخَتِ الْكَرْمَةُ، وَهَلَ تَفَتَّحَتْ بَرَاعِمُهَا، وَهَلْ نَوَّرَ الرُّمَّانُ؟ هُنَاكَ أَهَبُكَ حُبِّي.

to rise to/for vineyard to see: see if to sprout [the] vine to open [the] blossom to bud [the] pomegranate there to give: give [obj] beloved: love my to/for you

١٣ 13 قَدْ نَشَرَ اللُّفَّاحُ أَرِيجَهُ، وَتَدَلَّتْ فَوْقَ بَابِنَا أَفْخَرُ الثِّمَارِ، قَدِيمُهَا وَحَدِيثُهَا، الَّتِي ادَّخَرْتُهَا لَكَ يَا حَبِيبِي.
