< المَزامِير 95 >
هَيَّا نُرَنِّمُ عَالِياً لِلرَّبِّ، وَنَهْتِفُ فَرَحاً لِصَخْرَةِ خَلاصِنَا. | ١ 1 |
O come, let us sing to the LORD; Let us raise a voice of joy to the rock of our salvation!
لِنَتَقَدَّمْ أَمَامَ حَضْرَتِهِ بِالشُّكْرِ، وَنَهْتِفْ لَهُ بِالتَّرْنِيمِ. | ٢ 2 |
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving, And sing joyfully to him with psalms!
لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهٌ عَظِيمٌ، وَمَلِكٌ كَبِيرٌ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الآلِهَةِ. | ٣ 3 |
For Jehovah is a great God; Yea, a great king over all gods.
فِي يَدِهِ أَعْمَاقُ الأَرْضِ، وَقِمَمُ الْجِبَالِ مِلْكٌ لَهُ. | ٤ 4 |
In his hands are the depths of the earth; His also are the heights of the mountains.
لَهُ الْبَحْرُ، وَهُوَ قَدْ صَنَعَهُ، وَيَدَاهُ كَوَّنَتَا الْيَابِسَةَ. | ٥ 5 |
The sea is his, and he made it; The dry land also his hands formed.
تَعَالَوْا نَسْجُدُ وَنَنْحَنِي، لِنَرْكَعْ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ صَانِعِنَا، | ٦ 6 |
O come, let us worship and bow down! Let us kneel before the LORD, our maker!
فَإِنَّهُ هُوَ إِلَهُنَا، وَنَحْنُ رَعِيَّتُهُ وَقَطِيعُهُ الَّذِي يَقُودُهُ بِيَدِهِ. الْيَوْمَ إِنْ سَمِعْتُمْ صَوْتَهُ، | ٧ 7 |
For he is our God, And we are the people of his pasture and the flock of his hand. O that ye would now hear his voice!
فَلَا تُقَسُّوا قُلُوبَكُمْ، كَمَا حَدَثَ فِي يَوْمِ مَسَّةَ (أَيْ الامْتِحَانِ) فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ، | ٨ 8 |
“Harden not your hearts as at Meribah [[the strife]], As in the day of temptation [[Massah]] in the wilderness,
عِنْدَمَا امْتَحَنَنِي آبَاؤُكُمْ وَاخْتَبَرُونِي وَشَهِدُوا جَمِيعَ عَجَائِبِي. | ٩ 9 |
Where your fathers tempted me And tried me, although they had seen my works.
أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً رَفَضْتُ ذَلِكَ الْجِيلَ، وَقُلْتُ: «هُمْ شَعْبٌ أَضَلَّتْهُمْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَلَمْ يَعْرِفُوا قَطُّ طُرُقِي». | ١٠ 10 |
Forty years was I offended with that generation: And I said, 'They are a people of a perverse heart, And who have no regard to my ways.'
فَأَقْسَمْتُ فِي غَضَبِي قَائِلاً: «إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَدْخُلُوا مَكَانَ رَاحَتِي». | ١١ 11 |
Therefore I sware, in my wrath, That they should not enter into my rest.”
